The Sparta movie theater always has the latest shows and it's a great place to go to with your friends. I love it because I don't like going to big movie theaters when a movie just came out because then the place is mobbed with people but here, even when there's a new movie out it's not over packed and you can still have a nice calm visit. The candy is a little expensive but all movie theaters jack up the price on their candy. I like it and it's also right by my house so that makes it really easy to go and watch a movie.

Saw the kingsmen today with the husband, I felt the place was good to see a movie and would go back again. Prices were reasonable and I would say to the workers, go Easton the popcorn salt.

Perfect movie theater. Takes you back to the 80's when you had a small downtown theater playing double features. We really do love it here. Oh and the popcorn is outstanding.

Nice theater, a bit small, but sound and screen are fine. The process to get tickets and check in, if you've already purchased online, needs to be fixed though. You should not have to wait if you've bought online, & have the code to show, and they don't seem to have a person available to just check those people through. Concessions line is mixed in also. Not good! We were there for A star is born, very busy and often sold out, and just wanted to get to theatre to find seats.

Good prices, beats the ripoff prices at bigger chains like AMC. They have a rewards/loyalty program. Only downfalls are... (1) seats don’t recline and (2) front row is entirely too close to the screen, don’t do it!

I love this little theater. If you're part of the rewards and order tickets through their website you get rewards that more than cancel out the online processing fee. Their popcorn bucket deal is also great and even without those deals, their prices aren't bad compared to bigger theaters in the area. I just wish they were a little bigger.

The perfect place to practice my angry-stern-whisper while threatening my kid with loss-of-treats for not having the patience of a fully grown adult. The bathroom tissue is a good quality for wiping away tears and the bathroom lighting is just bright enough to let me consider, but not wallow, in my own self pity for too long. And they have cookie dough!

If movies were $4-5, I don't think I would be as upset, but I can't say I've ever had a more uncomfortable movie experience. The theater is tiny, so even sitting near the middle you felt like you were in the front row, craning your neck and looking up. The problem is that the seats are standard height, making it difficult to do so, especially for 2+ hours. The heat must have been on the roast setting, it was entirely too warm in there, especially for winter clothing. The picture wasn't ideal either, the spots on the film kept distracting my eye (who wants to be distracted during a movie, much less a Bond movie?!). At $10 per ticket, the value just isn't there for a $20 movie night. I've had better movie viewing as a teenager at the dollar theater in my hometown. I can't say I'm likely to go back.

We love that this theater is so close to home. If you are expecting a huge, fancy theater... this is not it. But it is very quaint, and staff are pleasant and kind. They also do what they can to honor military. (That is a plus in our book!)

Absolutely amazing! I've been to quite a few theaters & I'll be making this my permanent one. The staff are the friendliest, most helpful, cheerful people; the seats are super comfy for a person like me who cannot sit & tolerate chair with my back injuries, I had no problems whatsoever and the 3D is the BEST around! Omg! For the first time EVER, I finally understand why people ooh & ahh @ 3D movies. No other theater has given me that experience!

Small theater, which is not a bad thing, but the Bathrooms could use a remodel AND through cleaning. They also left the doors to the hall open during the movie so the light was coming in, making for a distracting experience.

Worst place to watch a movie. Theater is EXTREMELY small and prices are very expensive. $10.50 for a small popcorn and small water. You could barely hear certain parts of the movie because other movies were so loud next door. The screen kept getting really bright and then back to normal. Kids here would not stop talking and people kept getting up every five seconds during the movie. Nobody shut the lights off during the movie either. People were very rude and i could not hear parts of the movie. Never coming back here again!

I only visited at late hours, but it was a clean and friendly establishment. Theatres are on the small side but comfortable seating. I noticed the lights didn't dim too much during one particular showing and it was occasionally off putting once I noticed it, however it didn't serve to detract from the viewing much at all. I think it is a great local theatre, and is located near other very nice shops and a bowling alley. I would definitely recommend seeing a movie here, the only thing keeping it from 5 stars was the lighting. I had very little interaction with the staff while visiting, but I also didn't buy anything other than a ticket so that's to be expected. They were kind and curteous when I spoke to them though, and from what I saw acted the same regardless of who they were speaking to. Definitely a good spot to take the kids.

It's places like this that are so important to a small town. The staff enjoys their job, the place is kept clean, they provide an excellent product/client experience. I always look forward to going. I'm happy with every experience. Every small town should be fortunate to have a place like this in it!

Since the Newton theater stopped being a movie theater this is the only place left in the area if you don't want to drive to Mansfield or Rockaway. I've been going here since I was a kid. It was recently remodeled and is a pretty nice theater. I guess I'm just nostalgic and miss the atmosphere before the remodel. Now it's in the basement of the building and there's a Panera Bread where the original entrance was. My only legit complaint is they seem to only get movies that have been out for a few weeks. For new releases I go to Mansfield which is a much nicer theater.

I love this place, my boyfriend and I go all of the time. It has a comfortable, small-town appeal and the staff is always really friendly. The movies always start promptly and, unlike the bigger theaters like AMC, you only have to wait through about 10 minutes of trailers instead of half an hour. The popcorn is delicious and the prices are reasonable (if you go to the movies on Tuesdays, tickets are only $6.00!!). The staff goes out of their way to make customers feel comfortable and at home, and the facilities are always clean.

I shouldn't t even be giving this place a rating.. they wouldn't let me and my best friend who is 19 into the movie "IT" apparently the parent or guardian must be 21 or older to let the 18 or younger aged person in... but since I had invalid ID they didn't let us in. I thought it was 18 years old to bring someone else in, yea? What happened to that rule? Screw this stupid policy! Don't waste your money or time with this place.

Theatre area was clean and very nice, good popcorn, but the bathrooms were absolutely filthy. Totally unacceptable. Waste bins overflowing with used hand towels and toilets filthy. Pretty bizarre as the rest of the theatre is nice. Odd that they don’t open the doors until 15 minutes prior to showtime. No sign saying this either so people are gathered in the very small area waiting confused as to why the door is locked. They need to post a sign. Popcorn was good.
