I give this AMC theater A 3 star I always go to it but when I go buy something to eat they always said they dont have a small today I ask for a small ice Jesse the cashier told me that they only have the large and you can behind hem that there was a smaller cup for ice this is not right for that I going to gave them a 1 star I change my mind

The era of movies has changed. Wow the seats are not comfortable. The prices for 2 and snacks was like 60 . Inflation of everything Loved the game interaction for my kids to play before the credits. The best overall thing is the A list movie. You can watch moves 3x a week for a month about an average of 20 bucks

There was a lot of trash outside not upkept very well and when we got to our seats there was trash left there as well No one cleaned the theater. We enjoyed the movie though and the ticket clerk was awesome and friendly.

AMC is a joke, but this place takes the cake. In theatre 11 there are these bars behind the handicap seating like any other place. The problem here is that they go so high up you can't even see the screen. So what'd I do? I got a seat change at the front desk. Those people hate their job by the way. Now instead of a 10-foot high bar in front of me, the speaker is blasting in my left ear, physically hurting me, because they feel the need to have the speakers at 100% level to the point of distortion. I should sue for damages to my ear drum. The place was also dirty as hell, just like every other AMC theatre.

Love love this AMC theater! The seats are comfortable and pretty roomy. The theater is always clean, so not sticky floors. There's enough bathrooms that there is almost never a wait at the women's restroom. The concession stand offers a variety of snack and food options. The staff is always nice and friendly. Also, it's right next door to the mall. You can catch a movie and get some shopping done.

Once we got home, I realized I accidentally left my phone in the theater after our movie so my husband raced back to get it… It was exactly 11:40 PM and most of the movies were ending. He was knocking on the door, called the office, started banging on the door and asking people to help him. At least 12 people walked by and saw him, made eye contact but completely ignored him. We ended up calling mall security who came and retrieved the phone for us so all in all It worked out, but we are absolutely appalled at the general disregard for people from staff that work there. We will never go there again and would never recommend it to friends or family.

We all know anytime we go to the movies to buy food it's going to be expensive. I get that. What i have a issue with is that I'm paying all this money on food to eat while I'm enjoying the movie. They give you 3 small chicken tenders a little bit of curly fries. I remember when you got 5 chicken tenders and nice portion of fries. I kind of didn't mind paying the price back then but now, it's not ok it's a rip off. I guess i will be sneaking snacks in from here on out. Ridiculous. Also the popcorn is always stale.

I was shocked at the dismissive attitudes of the employees for patrons' needs. The staff is downright rude and not helpful; not to mention the place is a dump. I would think the employees that are not busy helping people could at least pick up a broom.... I have no desire to go back to this particular theater. Gross. Get it together AMC JG20...

Went to the movies on a rainy Monday with my grand children. 2 days later there is a fraudulent charge on my ATM card at a WaWa in Elizabeth (same city the movie theater is in). Won't be going back there anytime soon. I should have known, this mall used to be known as the car jacking/theft playground of NJ. Lesson learned!

There was only one person at the Ticket booth helping people who were paying with cash n there were automated computers but I guess the line was just cash and they were swamped could have used another helper. The miss at the snack counter was super helpful n charming took care of us quick n courteous and gave us some promotional sweets.

The Dolby Cinema theater at this location is better than Clifton Commons or Garden State Plaza - they don't use the extremely bright red background and exit lighting and the interior safety lights are focused correctly. Large screen, and usually much less busy than other theaters with Dolby Cinema houses. My new go-to.

Really loved the old school nostalgia of the movie posters. Also, it appears they are in the process of renovating the theater. Also, extremely nice that you can buy the tickets online and you can use the 2D barcode to gain admittance without having to wait in line. Theater is clean and a really nice environment. Overall, it was a terrific experience and I can't wait to go back.

My wife and I had visited this theater on a date night to see Captain Marvel. It was a very nice experience. Its the first time we got to pick our seats a head of time and reserve the seats we wanted. The theater was clean and huge. We had a nice time and would definitely visit again

This place is horrible wouldn’t recommend you spend your money here very dirty unorganized I recently went to see a movie with my family and it was a truly horrible experience staff disrespectful completely unorganized at one point people were about to fight over reserved seating kids running around like it was a park during movie food and popcorn priced way to high for the quality they serve super small portions food is not good popcorn is always stale long story short don’t spend your money there they don’t appreciate you or your business

How this place has a rating of 4 stars is way beyond unbelievable are we speaking about the same place AMC Jersey garden mall location if so google needs to check people leaving these reviews because I have been a actual customer there it is not a nice place the staff are extremely rude to customers it is dirty everywhere bathrooms,theaters, this place left me with one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had and I never do reviews cause everybody’s experience can be different but I’ve been there a few times and I’m not blind or just leaving a review cause the actual movie was good I’m leaving a review on the establishment it’s staff ,food ,cleanness,seating,how I’ve noticed customers being treated how I’ve been treated myself long lines under staffed yet they charge 20 bucks for popcorn I’m mean what am I missing here are there staff leaving these reviews this place is for sure a one star if I ever seen one

It's a general movie theater so can't really say all that much. Has Dolby so that is definitely a plus and what makes me go back but parking is a real problem being as it's connected to the mall. Expect to spend 10+mins trying to find parking.

Terrible movie theater. I have had terrible experiences here in the past. Most recently, I went to watch Joker in Dolby. The reclining seats didn't work and the movie was cropped. I had already watched the movie beforehand at the AMC Aviation (great experience there by the way), so I know what the movie was supposed to look like. The floors were so sticky. When I went to watch Spiderman Far from Home this past summer, I had ordered my food ahead. When I got there the employees had no idea what I was talking about. I had to pull out my order on my phone and then they started to prepare it in that moment. It took me longer ordering ahead than it wouldve taken me if I ordered in person. Just a terrible place to watch movies. Go to AMC Aviation instead.

We got to the theater at 12 pm to catch a 1:15 showing of Lion King in IMAX. We got to the concession stand around 12:05 and the line WAS WRAPPED as if it was a black friday deal. They had two people working by the time I got up to place my order It was 12:45. The seating is NOT big person friendly even thought the arm rest go up the metal bracket was stabbing me in the back and I couldn't enjoy it to the fullest. The bathrooms were clean though.

It had great potential before a few years ago, now looks like a storage space for utensils boxes and napkins on a big closed section of cashiers, Garbage was overflowing outside the can inside the theater and outside by the front and bus stop. The lines are confusing as there is only 1 person busy and a few machines. The clientele doesn't help as they are very uneducated and poor spirit. The seats smelled grease. Please change management or improve.

Often times it is crowded with people due to the fact they show great movies. Food of course is decent but over priced. Tickets are a fair price, location is great since the mall is about 2 minute walking distance and parking is abundant.

The staff is horrible and unprofessional. People are loud in theaters and in their phones. Premiere line is unregulated and just as long as any other line and one night we reserved our tickets and when we got to the theater the door was locked! After banging for 5 min a security guard let us in after we showed him our reservations. Other people were out there as well.

It's stupid I felt. Bought 2 tickets to watch avengers and they asked ticket for the baby as well. She is just 2.5 year old. I know the AMC age policy... But the policy itself should be little sensible. Very bad experience with the staff....will never visit again and suggest no one do...sickkkkk

Great theater. Offers most, if not all the bells and whistles that all other AMCs have. Buy your tickets online to skip the line. You dont even have to print the tickets anymore. Buy online on your smartphone and show the usher your digital barcode to get in. Super easy. Like all theaters the food is a money vacuum. Either sneak in the candy you bought from the $1 store in the mall right next door, (literally a 20 second walk to the malls entrance) or cough up at least $15 for a medium popcorn and small drink. Plenty of parking also. Clean bathrooms.

This place is a disaster. If you go to watch a late movie they shutdown the food area before the movies are even close to ending. Your chance for a refill on Soda or popcorn are over. I hate going to this place but I am stuck because of it closeness to the Mall

On June 330,2019 I had to use the bathroom very badly I went inside the theater and ask to use their bathroom I was told no because I didn't have a ticket for the movie. I would like to know if this is the policy for all Mac theaters or just the one at jersey gardens

The audotorium was not clean. Floors were sticky and there crumbs on the seat. The seats were of poor quality and you could constant squeaking throughout the film. Film screen was acceptable and sound quality was ok. Prices are expensive but that is to be expected. This theater needs work.

I hadn't been there in a long while and now I know why. The workers have the worst attitude. Even the manager. The mall is right next door so obviously people have bags and even leftovers from shopping. I took my elderly mom I to see a movie after eating at the mall and she had her leftovers. They wouldn't allow her in even after we ask if she could leave her bag maybe at the manager station. We request to see the manager and he was no help. He was definitely not people friendly at all. He said no to leaving the bag at his counter, acted like he didn't care about anything we were saying basically dismissing us. The suggestion was for us to leave it in the little nook next to the ticket agent. Which turns out has a grabage can conveniently place right under it. So we knew they planned on throwing the food bag out. Won't be going back to that theater again.

The theater is very dirty. Trash was overflowing. Lines for concession over 30 minutes long. Why was only the main stand open? There were few working toilets. Bathroom was so dirty, I thought I would catch a diesease. Where are the recliners you see at most AMX theatres? Won't be going back

My go-to theater. I love the atmosphere; it really makes you feel like you're at the movies. I'm glad they also haven't made the switch to those big seats as other AMCs have. They're comfy, I guess, but who really wants to reserve a seat just to see a movie? And they're so big that there are less seats in the theater. I'm happy this one has kept normal, stadium seating and a more traditional vibe.

I go there regularly and normally I love it but tonight it was filthy! I miss the old staff and managers the place was never this bad when they were there. I spend an Average of 300 monthly with my kids and their friends. If they don't tighten up I won't be going there anymore. And the new staff members are rude and non accommodating. I am going to give 5 stars because this is the first time I have felt like this and every other visit was great. But this better be the last time it's like this!

This was one of the most horrible movie going experiences I’ve ever had. I would give this place a zero if possible. First off I was not able to even see the movie I bought a ticket for. My friend was not admitted into the the film due to some “righteous” ticket lady who refused him to enter due to a lack of ID. My friend is 20 years old. We obtained a photo of his ID and was still refused. The lack of respect was atrocious. The manger was not kind either. Also we bought food before all of this and all I got out of the experience was a box of greasy and oily pretzels that make Burger King look great. Honestly will not recommend this location to anybody. I would recommend going to AMC Newport instead.

Just watched Avengers: Endgame, it was great 10/10. However the place felt neglected, and I mean old squeaky chairs, and a sticky floor with a topping of popcorn. Also to consider that 90% of the concession stands are empty. I remember when the place was thriving back then and I haven't been here in a long time, but now I remember that the building had two entries and now it had one, the other is a exit with a parking lot next to it like who would want to park there. Even though this place is a partial ghost town, this place is useful when tickets are sold out at other theaters.

Went to go view Dragon Ball Super Broly a few months back and the trip with the family was great. As you can expect, quality means money and for a pretty hefty price you can watch high quality movies at AMC. The beautiful arrangement of seating and array of snacks to choose, as well as fast lines due to digital self checkout makes AMC “5 Well Earned Stars!”.

Would've been better if they had more staff working. It's a SAT, we are there to see Avengers and you should've seen the concession line to order and the line to pick up your food. 2nd, some ppl just can't read. There was a guy who approached another guy about his seats 2hrs into the movie with the flashlight on his phone. Smh. Then of course the person behind u constantly kicking your chair. Reclining is best, unfortunately those shoes with those seats were full.

Theater 10 is a Dolby digital theater and provides an amazing movie watching experience, especially for those big action blockbusters. Some seating is all reserved, which is great, but plan accordingly. The team at this location is mostly good but they have their moments. The theater is very clean. The seats in theater 10 recline but not as far back as some might like. The control lights turn off, which is good to prevent distractions. However, I always find myself fumbling with the controls to reactivate them.

The staff was helpful and respectful, Brittany was patient due to the amount of coupons I had. The theater was clean. There are no arcade games or family entertainment if you have to wait for your movie. However the mall main entrance is about 100 ft. Away. Everyone see "UNPLANNED"

Way too expensive. I understand a night out will cost you money. But the amount they charge for food vs the amount given is ridiculous. $13 for two tiny hamburgers and some fries. And its not like they pay people a decent wage! So wheres all that money going?

I had a great experience at this movie theater today. Della, who works the first area to sell movie tickets, was amazing. She just has a sweet soul and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. I felt welcomed by her greeting alone. Now the guy working the concession stand, I didn’t get his name, but he was great. We had great conversation and he was helpful as well. Now I have 4 stars because a Caucasian lady, who works at the information desk, was not helpful at all. There were Women in the theater who wouldn’t stop talking, I asked them to quit talking but they continued, maybe they just didn’t understand English. So I went to the information desk where I sought help from the Caucasian lady, and she told me that she would send someone in that theater to check it out, however no one ever came and the women continued to speak.

I had a really great time. The only problem there may be is when you're trying to buy tickets since there is only two to three people at the stand to sell tickets. I recommend that people go and pre-order their tickets so they can pass straight through to the movie they want to see. I will also like to see this theater turn into a dine-in theater.

If I could give 0 starts I would. So me and my brother came in for the Avengers movie that starts at 8:00am. So we are there by 7:30 to get settle and now we are asked to go outside ,by a very rude employee, because they are "not open"; so why do you have a movie that starts at 8 am and not be open by 7:30 am? ...what if a customer wants to buy food before the movie starts. It does not make sense. Worst service ever. First and last time I come here.

Mills by the garden mall has the theatre which is very close to the mall. Place is good outing for a weekend family stint. The seating is comfortable if not the best. Food is available as popcorn and other AMC offerings. Lots of screenings for various movie showtimings.

i wish i can give 0, only reason i go there is because IMAX, other then that one of the nastiest theatre in jersey, stinks every where , and bathrooms are filthy , looks like they dont clean this place ever , i wish there were other IMAX near me, but i am out of luck

The lines to buy tickets are too long. There are also huge lines to buy popcorn. The floor is sticky everywhere. The interior is dated and the crowds look very suspicious.

If I could give this place no stars I would. The floors are disgusting full of popcorn and paper. The popcorn was old and stale and drinks were trash. Do not go to this theater if you want to watch the movie in peace! Horrible!!

This place has come a long way from what it once was. Dolby and IMAX make it a top tier theater and the staff is surprisingly friendly as well. This is my main theater to see movies at and I live in west orange NJ with multiple other theaters near by.

The theater seemed understaffed for a Saturday night. We waited 45 minutes in line for the concession stand!... and an additional 12 minutes to receive our order. There weren't even any blockbuster openings this weekend. The bathrooms were also disgusting... feminine disposal buckets were OVERFLOWING! The entire experience was unacceptable.

This is the way it is. Plain and simple. The theater itself is great. Comfortable seats. Big screens. Nice views. But to really enjoy your experience. I suggest you do everything online from the tickets to the popcorn. Otherwise, your gonna be in for a ride. If your young your ok. But if your a lil older and taking the kids out. Be prepared. It's a theater at the mall where the crowd is so diverse that you'll loose your head if you think your just gonna pull up and go in and have a good time. Not the place for that. But if your like me. You reserve your seats and your snacks all online through the AMC app. And u avoid everything. Walk in with your digital tickets and pass the long line. Get your snacks in the short line for those who have already ordered. And go to your reserved seats and enjoy the movie. The atmosphere is loud and proud so if u like it quiet and reserved. Get an early show or wait after the movie has been in the theater for a while.

If I could give 0 stars I would service was absolutely horrible. I am a stubs member and this is not my usual theater went to see end game since it was still sold out elsewhere for the number of seats I needed or would not have visited this location. Absolutely filthy everything concession area, drink area, and restrooms. Staff at concession acted like it was a bother to serve us and was not very helpful. Had rewards to use and also was not allowed he said because not activated. Not sure why not when I visit other locations they see the rewards on my account and always ask if I want to use them even when i do not activate.

It wqs my first time here and I was very impressed. The front of the house was under construction. Ticketing agent was cordial, salesperson in food court was amazingly professional, courteous and all round personable. For his sake alone, I would return. Excellent customer service. I wqs there for a matinee, so theater was mostly deserted while I was there. I will definitely return, had a wonderful day out here.

What bad experience. I would never suggest anyone to go there and spoil their day. The lobby was extremely stinky and dirty. We were in hall 16 and there were around 40 people and all other seats were empty. The moment I entered the hall was stinking AC was not working. I went out to customer service and no one was there I waited around 5 mins ask someone to help me I explained AC not working and they said wait for 10 mins and this process happened 3 times then I left my movie in between with my family. There was no one to take the responsibility no one to handle the situation so it was the worst experience for me. So please don’t go to this movie hall every.
