Service was excellent and very attractive. Eclectic menu from bar service (must be 18, show proof) with appetizers, entrees; pizzas, burgers, salads, wraps, fish and chips, and deserts. Children 's menu, soft drinks, popcorns (and gourmet flavors) juices, etc. Good portions (provide take out containers with lids. Prices reasonable (still less expensive than the theater). Parking is free.

Going to see Halloween this weekend as I absolutely love this theater. All in all the best theater in the area and the staff are fantastic. I have 2 reasons for 4 stars instead of 5. 1) Theaters used to open and get cleaned earlier and faster. This allowed the servers to be done with most customers before the movie starts. All the way into the first 15 minutes of a movie the past few visits people are first seeing their waiter or waitress (who do a pretty great job getting around by the way). This causes constant chatter and lights and impaired vision. By the time you get the food and get into a shorter movie, because there's not as many walking around, they are coming back around with the bill taking you out of the experience again. I hope they can get back to getting people and staff into the theaters early so that the commotion can be avoided. 2) What is that smell when you walk into the bar/hallways? There's this odor that's been there for a few years now. It doesn't seem to get into the theaters themselves but it might be time to rip up the carpets and recarpet because it's getting worse. I have to assume it's just too many spills over the years.

We could hear the other movie playing next door which was the Lion King. The Circle of Life was bellowing out during a jump scare scene in Scary Stories kind of ruined the whole mood. But prices were good during matinee hours and pop corn was good

You want to watch a movie and eat at the same time? This is the place for you. You buy your ticket go into the theater like you would at any other movie theater, take your seat and a waiter will come and take your food and drink order. Make sure to bring your id because there is a bar outside and alcoholic beverages on the menu. Once the movie starts there is a button next to you which will call the waiter. The food was decent. The best I ever had? No. But the experience was still pretty cool.

I like the idea of the dine in service. However the last time I went with my children about 2 weeks ago the service was horrible the food not good I had to keep calling the server to bring things they forgot. The menu changed and to top it off they have burgers on the menu and had No Buns

Food is alright. Overpriced but still tasty. Not something I would go to a restaurant to eat. Everytime I have come here for a 3D movie there are no glasses at the seats and you have to leave the movie to find someone to bring them. Otherwise very clean and I love the recliners.

This was the WORSE Thearter I have ever been too. The seats were sticky, all of the menu's pages were stuck together. It was completely dirty. The quality of the food was HORRIBLE!! I ordered a milkshake and pretzels. The milkshake was purely just milk with whipped cream. The pretzels were hot on the outside and cold on the inside. We wanted to ask for the food to be remade but the staff were laughing and getting an attitude and we did not want them to spit on our food so we just took the loss. I'm never going back to this theater!! I do not recommend this place at all. I am very disappointed with AMC!

Food is fine. I just go for a movie there and not interested in the dining. The servicing size for nachos is huge that you can easily split it between 3. So check the serving sizes before you order. Comfortable seating and good accoustics..

the only good thing about this theatre is the comfy seats , the entire room was dirty , im talking about food on the floor , wrappers and crumbs on the seats just plain dirty .. food is waaaaaaayy over priced and definitely not worth it , next time i will be eating beforehand because we spend $94 just on food and my husband ate a dry tasteless burger and then the popcorn i ordered for my son was stale but yet they claim they serve "fresh popcorn" terrible terrible experience , ive come here before and ive never had a bad experience like this one nor ever payed so much for food !

Food was on par with what you'd get at a chain restaurant. Definitely not terrible but nothing to write home about. You go for the experience here. Although, if you're excited to see a movie for the first time, I wouldn't recommend this as the waiters and waitresses can get a bit distracting during the movie. I would definitely go again, it was a good time.

The service is really beginning to go down hill. I've never had a waiter stand at the end of the aisle and pass everyone's food down. He literally explained what each drink was to my bf who was seated in the aisle seat so that we could PASS them to the correct person --- and then did the same with the food! SMH For the premium seat price, I expect more.

The theater part is good and is like any other theater. They have really nice recliners but they are getting old. Some of them aren't as comfortable as they used to be. The staff is really nice and the place is usually clean. The food leaves a lot to be desired for how expensive it is. Easily costs twice the price of tickets to have a meal here. Your best bet is to eat beforehand and enjoy the recliners and the movie without the overpriced food. The servers are nice but service can be slow. Skip the meal, watch the movie!

It's a fine place to watch a movie. Negatives: no preordering food through the AMC app option, no mobile payment option cash or credit only, and the seats do no recline like the ones at our local AMC. The staff was nice enough but still not as convenient as being able to pre-order Everything before we arrived.

I only added 1 star because our server Troy was excellent..But there is a rancid odor in the building..it was nauseating. Management needs to deodorize the entire theater. Shampoo carpets..I will never attend a movie at Dine in at Menlo Park again..you NEED TO FIX THAT..totally unacceptable

Kind of dirty. It is After all connected to the mall. Food is pricey, and I personally did not care for it all. Seating is very comfortable, and spacious. Being able to buy alcohol is a nice touch as well.

We have been coming here for a long time since it opened. Over the years the theater has worn out. The seats are tearing which worries me as anything can be in them now. The tables were all sticky as well as the ground so I had to wipe them down. They would not even pivot easily to bring them closer unless forced which nearly spilled our food. It seems that between movies there is really no one to take care of the place. The food was fine. Options are changing from time to time. Food service again can use some help. We waited a long time to place our order. The waiter asked for my card right away as if what I ordered was the only things and I would not want any more. Getting a refill on a drink took 10 minutes during the show. For the money paid there should be better upkeep of the place as it was not enjoyable to watch a movie there as it used to be.

My 1st time back to this theater since I've moved out of NJ. Came back home to visit family and we decided to go to the movies for my birthday. It was a large group of us, about 13. And our server ,Teraye (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly) was Great!! Very nice and attentive. Service with a smile. Definitely will be back. Thanks again for making our evening Very pleasant.

I've never been to a dine-in theater before so dont have anything to compare it to, but it is pretty much what I imagined. Too many distractions with servers and extra lighting and people asking questions during the movie, but I guess you need to expect that at a dine-in. The best thing I experienced was the service which was great so I tipped very well. The food was ok... sort of pub style. The theater itself could be be nicer/cleaner and updated a little more, but overall things were good. If you're not used to dine-in you should go early so you can see the menu.

The server was rushing us the entire time. We had just received our order which mind you it was messed up but he fixed it. Also stated he would remove the items that was incorrect. But when we had just started to eat he was telling me that he was going to bring the check. I’m like please not yet we would like to at least order another round of drinks. He left, came back and we reordered our drink and asked if he could bring the check now. I just looked at him and said sure go ahead because I am over the guy hovering. He brings the drinks with the check and realized he had charged us something that was suppose to be removed and also something else I couldn’t recognize. He left came back with it corrected. The food was disappointing, I have been to other dine in theaters but the service I got today was horrible!

The theater is very nice and clean, the chairs recline all the way back therefore you can get nice and comfy. This theater is also a dine in so you can eat at a table in the front area or at your seat in the movie theater

Very dirty there was gum stuck under the try of my seat. The menus were sticky. The ladies bathroom was absolutely distuging the toilet were urine filled and the bathroom itself was dirty urine on the seats toilet paper all over the floor. Crying babies in the theater for a 9:45 pm movie. Sorry should of left the babies. Overall worst theater. Maybe if the employees cleaned as much as they talked this place would be a little cleaner. Will not be going here. I'll drive to Bridgewater next time

If you are going to the movies, this is THE ONLY WAY TO SEE THEM!!! You HAVE TO SEE MOVIES IN THE AMC PREMIER RECLINERS IN THE DINE-IN THEATRE!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! Plus, I can have a nice mixed drink with my meal!!! They have a fully stocked bar for you to order from, the only downside is that it is SUPER EXPENSIVE!!! ALSO, Not all movies are presented in the theatres with the premier recliners....

I’ve been here before but this time I ordered the chicken wings. The server told me you get 8-10 boneless wings, I got 5 which were mostly breading. It was supposed to come with 3 salted cucumber spears I got 3 warm unsalted spears. All that for $11.99. The drink was $5.49 and no refills. Then during the end of the movie she came over twice to interrupt asking if i signed the credit card slip yet. From now on I will eat before the movie.

Recently came to this theatre for the Friends 25th Anniversary showing. The theater had technical difficulties which delayed our showing about an hour. Management went above and beyond by comping our food and giving us free tickets. We were able to stay and wait and enjoyed the show. Staff is always friendly every time I come here. The reclining seats are also comfy and a perk!

If you like waiting a long time for your food then this is the theater for you. I ordered our food before 1pm and half our order came out at 2:44pm. This is the longest I have ever had to wait for food! Unbelievable! Will never visit this location again!

Although the chairs are big and somewhat comfortable, they need maintenance as they are clearly overused with cracks and sqeeking/rubbing sounds against other chairs. Swing tables were bent, not clean in every spot. Chairs weren't labeled clearly so you can find your seating area easily. Overall an unclean, low maintained room.

Asian Steak and Shrimp Bowl very nice good food, but a Coke for 5,49 plus tax hey you buy the Minipom and just add water and CO2, way to expensive. The movie price a little bit high. Over all next time I'll go and eat somewhere else and watch a movie

The dine-in setup is disruptive. Waiters constantly coming and going, yelling their orders over the movie, and they leave the theater doors open so you get all the noise from the hall. Just go to a Regal; their chairs recline and are more comfortable.

An amazing experience. This Dine-In theater is a great way to experience movies on the big screen. The seats are very comfortable, the menu is also very diverse and they have good drinks also. Prices for tickets and food are a bit steep, but it makes sense given the ambiance they are trying to give off. Staff is also very courteous. Only reason its not a 5 star place is because a lot of younger school folks come here often and can be disruptive during the movies without the staff taking action.

I thought the server usually came up to you and asked you if you want anything but that didn't happen. Now maybe I should got the guys attention but no big deal I kind of ate before I got there it just would have been nice to be asked.

The seats in the theater I was in (4) were relatively dirty and many were partially broken. The arm rest of my seat was partially detached and would pivot each time you went to move your arm or the tray. The cup holder was also missing, the seat had rips in it and was sticky, and the hallways and theater had pretty unpleasant smell. It's definitely due for a renovation. The low level of cleanliness was enough for me to avoid ordering food from here, but your milage may vary. I would recommend driving further away to a better, cleaner, and more updated AMC with reclining seats instead of going to this one. You'll probably have a better overall experience and won't be grossed out.

Who wants to watch a movie while waiters take orders and some guys fork scrapes the bowl of his 3 Cheese Penne Mac and Cheese. I had an extra reservation and I was in the area at the right time to I stopped in to help Avengers beat Avatar but I couldn't make it past the first 10 minutes. Waiters everywhere whispering, utensils scraping everything, less food for more money, and they give you everything in glass or plate/bowl so you can't leave with your soda(or get your own refill) I want quiet in a movie, not metal on cheap ceramic and a guy I have to tip 20percent to saying "drinks first" 30 times.

Nothing too expensive but I remember when the price for 2 people was half of what I paid tonight...$30 for 2 people!! Theater and concept itself it great and over the years the service has gotten much better. However the food is wayyyy over priced. I know movie theaters are kind of known for that but still. Would not recommend bothering eating meals there stick to popcorn candy and drinks and maybe an app.

Best part about this theater is reserved seating, roomy seats. We picked the middle section 5th row and the seats do not adjust so it was a little awkward for eating. Sticky floors sticky menus. Lights are dim in theater but you could actually see the residue on menus, tray and cup holders. Our waiter was pleasant. The menu is Pricey: Eg.$17.49 for chicken tenders and fries. Ordered a couple of drinks and second entree. We received our orders very quickly and food was hot. I didn’t mind paying more for dine in service so much until I tasted the food, it was not good!! Nice presentation disappointing flavor. Tasted like microwaved food. Soft pretzels were tough. You have the option to order classic theater treats like popcorn and candy instead of a meal. Next visit I think we will do that and have dinner at a near by restaurant likely for less. Also, bathrooms were filthy. Hand dryers disgustingly dirty use paper towel.

A little pricey for tickets. 2 for Creed II was $32 but the service was great. The waiter/waitress come to your seats and take your order if any. They have a small table top that swings over you if you order food. The seats are leather, comfortable and recline. We only got a large popcorn and a large drink. At any theater you go to they gonna charge 2 kidneys for a popcorn and drink so there's no negative for that. All in all a good experience. I believe they serve alcohol too so if you have a funny movie add some alcohol then you have a real good time

A disappointing experience! I've heard much about this theater and the dine in experience. Since I'm already familiar with Alamo Drafthouse, I figured I'd give the AMC version a shot. The lobby, hallways, and theater had a particularly strong, pungent "theater" odor. The bathrooms were far from clean. I spent extra to get reclining seats and dining service, but the call buttons for both of our seats did not work. I was able to flag an employee down to order, but couldn't get any additional service once the film started. My tray table was very loose and kept swinging away from me, and an employee informed me it couldn't be put into a locked position. Afterwards, I spoke with someone in customer service to let him know about the call buttons and tray table. He was very courteous, and offered me two vouchers. His pleasant demeanor was really the saving grace. I've been to many other AMC theaters and enjoyed them just fine, but I will not be returning to this location. The quality of service did not match the price I payed. I will be sticking to Alamo Drafthouse.

I am writing this review based on information provided by my daughter, who attended a movie on the evening of Jan 6, 2019. Although she and her friend enjoyed the film, they informed me of the OUTRAGEOUS prices! $30.00 for 2 milkshakes and 1 popcorn????? I highly doubt that they get a lot of repeat business....and I know I won't be wasting any of my hard earned money there again. I just wish I were there to give the manager a piece of my mind.

The seats were very comfortable and the service was friendly. There are no quick snack stands outside the theaters, but you can use a button on your chair to order, and there are plenty meals and snacks to choose from. Plus, there's tons of parking close to the theater.

This was the worst experience at a movie theater I have ever had. First we got there and there was a huge mix up with our seats, apparently the Patriots were told to go to our theater. Then our waitress only visited us twice. Once when we rang for her, the other when she brought us the check. Then the best part was the fact that it was about 90 degrees outside and the theater felt like it was 80 degrees inside. Also the seats were ripped and torn and looked like people chewed on them. Last but not least the menus were so sticky, I couldn't seperate them to see the food menu. This experience was expensive and so NOT worth it at all. Don't waste your money.

Horrible experience not once but twice! First I tried to purchase my ticket from the electronic kiosk. Accepted the money but error and couldn't print ticket I had to wait in line to get my ticket printed. Tried to order food during the previews and got zero service. Finally got my order placed and it took the longest to arrive. No silverware or napkins! I asked several times with no luck amd just decided it wasn't going to happen. The costumer service was horrible, but the food was decent. I didnt want to take this experience as how it is there so I decided to go back about a month later. The exact same thing happened again!! Broken ticket kiosk, horrible customer service, no silverware or napkins. Twice though?! Cmon

This is the only movie theatre I go to now. No more waiting on concession lines. Everything is brought to you. The aisles are wide enough so nobody can kick your seat. Some seats recline all the way back. Just try not to fall asleep :)

On the smaller size mainly due to its location I guess ( sharing space with the mall). Haven't tried dining there but the recliners were nice. Clean place and short lines.

AMC dine in, reclining seats in some movie showings. Easily accessible, plenty of free parking. Don’t really recommend the pricey food, but plenty of other offerings at the mall food court.

Easy accessible theater and the well sized auditorium. Seating are great. Parking is very near to theater. you need to take the elevated path to reach the top floor for the open parking. There is closed parking in the basement. Foods are OK and the Smoothies are awesome. If you don't feel like eating or something, you can order a cup of coffee and the simple fries basket.

Dine-in done right. Comfortable seats and the ability to order good food, snacks, and drinks (kids friendly or alcoholic) through the movie delivered to your seat. Staff is friendly and great at making you suggestions from the menu.

Place smells like re used mop water. Still never got my coffee our orders were wrong the seats are horrible. Tables sticky no napkins supplied . Movie was great tho

The food was good but seating was not it was old and sticky. And did not have recliners on the seat.the movie screen was small to. Go to market place instead it is better. Ps go watch endgame it is really good and fun to watch.

terrible experience. no soundproof between next theaters. servers keep coming while I'm watching movie. so noisy and dirty. tables are covered by oil and food stains. I don't even wanna give them 1 star. sorry for that.

Comfy seats, food is okay. For the price you pay, not worth it. Don’t buy food when you go there not worth it. The staff is nice, sometimes. Ordered two sodas never got them after complaining 3 times. Still didn’t get them. You’re better off going to linden.

I loved it here. The food service is fast and pretty good. Since there is reserved seating no one can steal the best seats before you. Some of the theaters have recliner seats which is awesome!! I just recently went to see "Captain Marvel" here and it was absolutely outstanding.

The place is perfect, sold out tickets but it's so organized you don't feel like it's crowded. Meal prices a little above average but still fine. Police presence to make sure everything is fine, young waiters willing to assist you, comfortable chairs. No regrets.

Horrible. Haven't been here in a few years I usually visit AMC linden. The smell of wet/dirty rug is overwhelming. The seats squeak very loudly we had to sit super still to avoid making noise....such a disappointment. Disgusting we will not visit here again.

Theaters doors left open for servers, so the quiet movie I watching was disrupted by very loud movie next door. Food and service were good. Screen was improperly set, took 2 complaints to fix.

It is always a great experience. Today I was a little disappointed. I went to see the Avengers End Game this morning and all theaters usually have the souvenir popcorn bucket and cup. I have the other collections and was expecting to end the collection with this last movie. Unfortunately they didn't carry the souvenir items. I will see it again but go to another theater.

I don't go to the movies very often so when I do it's usually for something special. Today was my birthday & I wanted to see Mary Poppins Returns which was excellent! I had a nice lunch while watching the movie. It wasn't cheap-probably overpriced but it was special. Seats are comfortable & it was an enjoyable afternoon.

Seats are comfy, food is okay but absurdly expensive as is to be expected, but dont pay cash. I had a $10 tab, gave a $20 bill and asked for change. My server disappeared and I never saw her again despite asking several other servers. I tried again as I was leaving, but it was 130am and i couldn't find anybody. I hope she enjoyed her $10 tip because nobody at AMC will be getting one from me ever again.

The theatre is usually good. I am currently at the bar (will be leaving after this first drink) because I asked to put a basketball game on (it's playoff ball) and the server at the bar says "sorry we can't change it." They have 7 TV's and all of them are on the same channel. The bar personnel is questionable

Food was good but the theater was old and dirty. To enter, it was amazing but once you start walking down the hallway to the theaters it smells absolutely disgusting. The same smell was also in the theater. I will not be returning.

I really enjoy going to dine in theaters because it saves time instead of standing in line for concessions. My chief complaints for Menlo are the lack of movies in auditoriums that have reclining seats, the closing time of the bar for later showtimes, and the screen sizes. The staff has always been great even when there was issues with food.

Love going here. Have a vast menu with a lot of veg items also. Do yourself a favor and go for the AMC Tuesdays where movie tickets are 5 bucks a piece and you can spend the rest on snacks and beer :)

My favourite place for a movie. However, management needs to up cleanliness of eating trays at seats. Additionally timing of paying for food is disruptive and should be more strategic. Cheers!

Terrible experience tonight movie was Suppose to start at 10. Didn't start until 11. Manager and server were rude n made you feel like you were bothering them by being there. Movie also went out once. They offered no apologies and were rude the whole time. Ppl left the movie because it was never starting.

Pretty good theater to see a movie. However at times the seats and tray tables were sticky for the few times I've been there. Also the tickets can be a bit pricey, but this isn't an issue if you have the AMC A-List. Service is good however, never had a problem with anyone who worked there, they all did a fine job.

I live in Pennsylvania, I visited my friend in New Jersey and we decided to go for a movie since I haven't been to the cinema in New Jersey before and I have been visiting for six years. When we got to AMC omg! The movie room looks different from what I have seen in my city. I had so much fun, of course, we went in with our popcorn and soda. I love the comfort of their chair, it operates in a way that you can lay down if you want to and the cushion is very soft. The room was quiet, no phone call distractions or unnecessary noise till after the movie, unlike other cinemas I have been to. I have been to many movie rooms but this is exceptional. I can't wait to visit AMC again when next i come to New Jersey.

I love this movie theater. I take a nice drive just to attend this AMC theatre. The food is served to you at your seat unlike the other Dine-in theatres I've been to. This is my go to theatre when I want to go catch a movie. I loved it so much I took a group of family members and others to this particular AMC Dine-in Movie Theatre.

My husband and I decided to try the dine in theater. I wanted to order some beer. I brought my drivers license but my husband did not. Our waiter was very nice and explained that we could not get a bucket of beer because he could not serve that to one person because only one of us showed our ID. So we each got one beer and when I went to order a second one for myself they refused because he didn’t have his ID. He explained that he didn’t want any more beer and wasn’t going to be buying anymore but that I would like one. They still refuse to even though I had my ID. Now mind you we are not in our twenties . We are well into our 50’s. I got so aggravated it was only 20 minutes into the movie we just got up and left. I understand that their policy is to show identification , however This should be posted on the website. Very very disappointing experience.

I feel so lucky to have a dine-in theater such as this one so close to home! When they are a rarity in NJ. Great for comfort, convenience, good food and drink options. Plus alcohol is available. How can one go wrong here? Absolutely love this place.
