The monkey is a great place to see a show, film or anything else that may come by. This intimate venue could use a few more updates including better stadium seating, larger menu, accurate times, slightly better acoustics and a powerful ac system.

A beautifully restored theater featuring great acts in an intimate setting. Every seat is a good one! They do have dinner service along with beer & wine. Awesome spot to see a live show or a movie!

Great local theater, which seems to bring in some very good acts. We contacted the owner through a mutual friend and were able to secure two last minute seats to a nearly sold-out show. Kudos for the hands-on customer service! You must visit!

My wife and I got the VIP seats on our date night. Shout out to Bob Marley for a great show. Haven't laugh that much in awhile. We were taken to our table by our waiter Bradley, who was courteous and friendly. We ordered our food and it was awesome. I had the pork chop and it was the best I had ever had. It was huge and very tender. Can't wait to do this again.

While the flying monkey has a full service restaurant inside, there are lots of opprotunities within walking distance to stop somewhere before or after your show for food or drinks.

If youre looking for a really unique and intimate musical experience, this is the place for you. Featuring top notch musical acts, there isn't a bad seat in the house. The service is wonderful and extra friendly, and the dinner and a show option really provides a fantastic dinner experience coupled with great music! I've only had the most wonderful experiences here, and have been blessed to see some tremendous bands in this establishment. The acoustics are fantastic as well!! And when they are not offering music, the show silent movies and cult classics. And the throwback vaudeville decor really creates a feeling of nostalgia. Located just off Interstate 93 in lovely Plymouth, NH, this is a must go for locals, area residents, and travelers alike. I promise, you won't be disappointed!!!

I love the monkey for a performance venue and have been there many times. Last night was a disaster. Since we bought tickets at the last minute our only choice was dining. Never again. Cold food that took 1 1/2 hours to get to our table. Everyone in our section got cold food. Even dessert was cold and they forgot the ice cream. We could not hear the music. Waitstaff was very unorganized. They should have ensured that all food was served before they cleared other tables. With many fine dining venues in Plymouth and other towns, I would suggest that you go elsewhere and then come to the show.

Nice old venue to catch a show. They offer dinner before shows. Plenty of decent restaurants in the area if you choose to eat elsewhere. Haven't caught a movie there, so I can't venture an opinion there. Very nice staff working the shows. Like how they toss 2 monkeys and Frisbees into the crowd. My pet peeve would be that they prohibit you from going up to the stage to groove & dance. It's a concert venue, and to quote Peter Wolf, "if it's in ya, it's gotta come out". Let em dance!!
