This is a great little theater for second run movies. It's $2 per ticket, popcorn is delicious (albeit the same price as a normal theater). Sound and picture quality are both good. This is a great place to beat the heat or catch a late showing. The surrounding neighborhood looks a little rough, but the theater itself is clean.

I just saw the second Fantastic Beasts movie. Afterward I went to a fast food restaurant drive through and realized I dropped my wallet inside the theater. I went back to look for it and management would not let me in to look, stating that the current movie was playing and I might disturb others. Wow! Now I am waiting till midnight for the movie to get over to look.

It's $2 buckaroonies to see a MOVIE here!!!! And although the movies they play here are released nationwide 3 or 4 months prior, the movie is still new to you if you haven't seen it. Duh!! They usually have 4 or 5 different showings to choose from and there is always a guaranteed kids movie. So grab the kids and go have a family night of fun for just under $10 bucks. You can't beat that anywhere!! Head to the Tropicana Cinemas today!!!

Spent $67 dollars at the concession stand. Went back and needed an extra cup of nacho cheese. Had $1 in my pocket. Came out to a $1.08. Wouldn't let me use the card again unless I ordered $5+ more in food. Told him "I just spent $67" kid just shurgged his shoulders at me.

I really like going here for movies that I did not get a chance to watch when they first came out. The price is REALLY REALLY good and they also have $1 hotdogs (...yes, I like movie theatre hotdogs. lol). The manager is also really nice who is always helpful. The theatre is also very "old school" with arcade games in the lobby, but its also very clean. I'm glad that I was able to find a "$1 movie theatre" that is decent, well-kept, and clean. Keep up the good work!

Went here yesterday to watch secret pet life 2 .... i always enjoyed reasonably priced movies my only issue with this visit is i was bit by something and once outside my arm had a welt on it size of my palm. Bug bombs maybe in your future

We simply love this theater! This is a gem as is the drive-in theater in town. The staff is kind and helpful. Ma and Pa operated I believe. They keep it clean and the popcorn fresh. It's great for catching movies you may have missed in the larger more expensive theaters. The seats are comfortable and you can't beat the price. Movies before 6pm are $2 and Tuesdays is $1 day. After 6pm movies are $3. So glad to have this theater as an option.

Love the team here everyone is great service. The movies are not first run so you have less of a crowd which is great but the movies are still amazing, you get the big hits just a few weeks later in the big screen. Popcorn and soda are cheap and fresh. Never had a bad time here. I see the crew always working and laughing. They make a good team. Good vibes in this place. Managers hire good people. I like that. Good service from good people. Friendly people with good customer service keep me coming back.

I love this place. Reminds me of when I was a kid. Sometimes you just want to see a movie, minus the fancy over priced seats and this place is just the opposite. Not fancy at all. A little grimy actually but I love the nostalgic feel it has.

They play the Rocky Horror Picture show their if you wanna attend come early for that showing because the line gets very long outside the box office. I hope this place never closes. Money is short for people now & days Vegas needs entertainment like this so families can get out & make memories. Aloha

A+++ for value. It's a very old building. Service wasn't great, but we saw a good movie for a couple bucks each. Once the lights go off, who cares! If you are tired of paying over $10 a person, this is for you. Food is also more reasonably priced here. The guy behind me couldn't get over $1 hot dogs. "A buck!? I'm gonna get two, and I haven't done that in 20 years!"

A great option for catching up on movies you may have missed, and the ticket prices really can't be beat. For only $2 (weekly $1 dollar options, but beware of children and crying babies), this is my new go to spot for films that I may have missed during their original release. Don't expect reclining seats (mine was rather squeaky), but the manager was nice and even held the door open for me when I went to see Venom last week. Food prices are comparable to higher end theaters; I really enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Thumbs up!

I really like this place and its $2 for a matinee which is amazing. If youre looking for brand new seats etc then this inst the place for you but it was comfortable and clean with a staff who were very polite and friendly. You can see a cheap movie and then go a mile down the road to the Pinball Hall of Fame for some more cheap fun.

After-theater-before-Redbox movies for $2? Really what more could you want? Well I'll tell you what more you want: overpriced snacks with a twist (they got popcorn seasonings; I recommend white cheddar with caramel mixed together), free refills on large items, a staff that actively tries hard to keep the place clean, and a fresh cotton candy machine. That's right cotton candy; maybe you all aren't excited by the prospect, but I happen to love the pure sugar coma-inducing fluff. The place really is nothing fancy, basically a nostalgic 4-room theater that reminds you of the movies you used to go see as a kid. But hey, you're getting the movie theater experience for a fourth of the cost of a new fancy-shmancy theater.

This is a fantastic deal to watch a movie for $2. The movies are dated but I never watched them anyway so I found it a great deal. The theatre is also somewhat dated but the price is unbeatable. If you are looking for a great movie deal this is the place for you. The refreshments are ok, The refreshment prices seem on par with regular movie theatres.

My son is 5 and we weren't sure if he would be able to sit through an entire movie. This place was a perfect choice because if we had to leave, it was only $2. The snacks are the same price as a regular theatre, but they have to make money some how.

I had a great time, staff is pleasant. I was a regular at the Tropicana Cinema, I haven't been in a couple of years. But, they still remembered me. Tropicana is a safe clean environment that you can visit alone or with friends. Best $2 I have ever spent!

I cannot say enough how much of a blessing this place is for my kids and I. We love this theater. My kids and I can go to the movie thearter get popcorn,drinks, candy the works and on $30 or less . Anywhere else you would be spending that just to get in the door. People are friendly and they keep it very clean. They have some games in the lobby area $2.50 tickets for 3D movies. There is not a movie theater in town that can beat this place. You have to wait a little longer for the movies but usually within a month or two of showing in the bigger theaters they show here. I would highly reccommend if you want to enjoy a movie on a budget.

First time here and will be my go to place. Ticket was $3.00 we r talking about 09/08/2019. Ok, granted that the screen is not massive and sound is not DolbyX. But, if you miss a movie that was a blockbuster a month ago, chances are you can watch here. Btw, I am not writing about the popcorns and how the staff deals with customers and all the negative stuff people tend to post here. Yes it is a family place also. Simply put, a Movie aficionado telling it like it is.

I thought it was a pretty cool 'hole in the wall' movie theater. For 2 bucks a ticket and half the cost of usual concession stand prices, it really was pretty dope. I like the downtrodden charm of these dollar fifty/two dollar shows a lot and honestly this doesnt disappoint. 2 tickets for John Wick 3, candy and 2 drinks for under 20 bucks. Cant go wrong there when its over 20 bucks just for the tickets at a normal theater.

Cinemas in Vegas are so expensive and when you have children you have to find things to do for a cheap price. Tropicana Cinema has excellent prices on their tickets and cheap food deals and they always have good movies to watch. I would recommend Tropicana Cinema to anyone who wants to watch a good movie and save money.

Got to the box office and ask for 2 fix to see the movie Ma and and asked which auditorium the movie was playing in and was told aud 1. While waiting on the movie I asked to see, about 10 minutes into the movie I realized this wasn't the movie. My wife and I informed the manager and he reimbursed us. Our experience was bad.

Very cheap to go watch movies that just left the theaters. It was $10 for 4 of us. Depending on with theater room your movie is in, the seats can be good to very tight and old. Popcorn is always fresh and good with free toppings if you like them. It is an old style theater, so if you are looking for high tech screens and sounds, this is not for your. However, the 3D movies are good and the sound in all of the rooms are good. Cost for a 3D movie is $3.50 per person. You can't beat that. It is a budget theater the gives you the movie experience without costing an arm and a leg. The place is old but it is clean. They even have video games in the lobby like theaters used to have. Going to the movies here is like being in the movies. A blast from the past. Overall, it is a good place to go on a budget and still get that movie theater experience. Bring cash. The popcorn is cash only. Also, for tickets, there is a $5 minimum for credit cards. Tuesday is half off.

I absolutely love this place. This movie theater has been there for decades. I use to view flicks there as a high school student and went there last time at age 40. We love it here! The Manager Kenneth goes out of his way to greet us and is so genuine! The security are always professional! The prices have gone up recently, but still only $1.50 per person on Tuesday's. They are $3.00 on other nights and an additional amount for 3D movies. It is a family atmosphere. I might suggest a remodel of the theatre. The people are wonderful!

I have been coming here for about 9 years. It used to be very affordable for my large family but this past time that we went. Their concession prices were outrages just like a regular theater. Not sure where to begin. However I will start with the positive in the overall assessment of the theater. This is essentially a dollar theater the ticket prices are three bucks for a regular show after 6. When you get into the theater it is super small you just walk right in and Bam there's all the theater rooms. I didn't see the price of the concessions because my friend got the food for us but he said it wasn't bad. overall it felt clean I didn't really scope it out too much I just went in went to the movie and sat down. Now these are big comfy fluffy recliners it's not a big huge auditorium. it's very small theater with not a lot of seat. Now I will get to the reason why they didn't get five stars. Evidently they don't stop people bringing their kids into the theater to go see horror movies. For the life of me I could not understand as to why they sold tickets to a horror movie to families with babies. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt in the movie started off good. But then they started screaming and crying and it was just a mess. I went out to talk to the manager about it. cassava was already irritated with the fact that we were trying to watch this movie and we couldn't do it because these kids kept screaming. Not to mention they kept turning YouTube on for the kids to watch so they can enjoy their movie. While the rest of us suffered. So when I talk to the manager the manager told me that he can't stop them and I was just a little confused because the majority of theaters after a certain time you have to be a certain age to enter. however the reason why I didn't take off more stars because he came in there immediately after me tapped on the shoulder and removed her. I appreciated that because I wanted to enjoy my movie. I was watching a horror movie if it was toy story or some other kids movie I would have understood. However I just don't think it's a place to have your child in a movie with nudity and vulgar cursing. we watched ma for the people who don't know about Mama there was some scenes in there that were a little bit tongue-in-cheek if you will forgive me for lack of better words. Overall that shouldn't change the view of the theater cuz it was just one instant however they do need to fix that policy and when that fault policy gets fixed and I believe that this company earns five stars. However while you guys are allowing children to enter your theater after a certain time into a horror movie I just don't feel like that is good practice. especially for the people who are trying to watch the movie and these kids are screaming and crying because it's too scary for them.

For a cheap theatre, it's awesome! I give this place a 4 star because of the excellent service, UNBEATABLE price, and decent selection of movies. They lose a star because every single time i go there (4+ times a month), the bathrooms are always gnarly... It's the patrons who use it like an outhouse, but I did wish the tenants would check it once and a while. I still love this place and will continue to frequent this location, but the bathrooms are not always the cleanest.

Cool movies but the sound isnt really surround sound, the theater isnt sound proof so you can hear the outside, the chairs dont recline and they are way to close to each other so legs can't be comfortably stretched, also the screen is very far.
