I wasted 15 bucks since the available staff did not know how to print prepaid tickets out through the card that I paid for them with online. This is the fourth time the box office here has been staffed by people that weren't clued in on how to do this seemingly simple thing, but tonight was the first time they were simply unable to, which is bewildering. I wasn't going to fork more cash over at that point for another ticket, especially since it was assigned seating, the show had just started, and no good seats were left. I live a short walk away from the theater, don't have a printer to print physical tickets out in advance, and have a phone that's heavily cracked so scanning isn't an option. I tend to pay for my tickets in advance online, leave my phone either at home or in my car, and then redeem my tickets at a kiosk if possible. This theater doesn't have a kiosk to my knowledge though, so I've had to use the box office to print them out (as is specifically mentioned to be an option for this theater on fandango). The staff have only been able to print my tickets out hassle-free once (the very first time I was there), and all visits since have been met with confusion and have had me wait for additional help to get it sorted. Still though, I'm fine with waiting as long as I'm able to go see the flick that I paid to see. When I realized that I pretty much had no options and had wasted my money tonight, I was understandably pretty mad and said something snide before walking home, which I do regret even though frankly, I was boiling up over all of this. I suppose if I had anyone to blame here it would be whoever is responsible for ensuring that the box office staff is able to do tasks like these that they should be obligated to know about. I should also probably get a new phone sometime. Still though, after tonight, I probably will stick to different theaters. This one is so close though, literally five minutes away. A shame.

Not easily accessible, deep in a casino. Chairs need upgrading to lounge chairs. I sat in the center and had the projector room light shining down on me which was very distracting. Other than that, not bad. 3/5

The “ticket taker Tanishiaka(sp?)” was the rudest most inconsiderate person I have ever encountered. I arrived to purchase 3 tickets it came to $25.50 (overcharged) I handed her a $100 bill. She said (very loudly) I don’t have change. You can walk over to the ATM over there (pointing towards the Bingo hall) or I can walk over there. I felt the offer was not sincere but sarcastic. I walked over to the ATM. When I returned to the line she was assisting another customer and the other cashier was available so I ordered my tickets. She (Tanishikas) interrupted the transaction and loudly injected I got your tickets right here Sis you don’t have to wait. I said you were helping someone else so I went to her. She stopped helping her other customers to argue with me. I told her she was the rudest person and she continued to talk. Asking if I wanted to speak to her manager. I stated I did not. She was so rude.

Comfortable big chairs, friendly staff. I gave them 4 stars because every time we go, they only have one side of the concession stand open, even if there's a long line. Only once has both sides been open and it wasn't even peak time. Popcorn is good.

When we are in Vegas for appts, this is where we like to see movies. Very nice theatre. Nice comfortable seats with good views. Awesome snack bar with lots of choices. It's nice they have discount days. The staff is always friendly.

This is my favorite local movie theater! Located at South Point Hotel and Casino means that you'll have plenty of food options for before or after the show. Seating in all of the theaters is very comfortable. Recently upgraded concessions area now includes wine and beer and, possibly mixed drinks, but I'm not certain of that. Also, they now have a gelato stand, a coffee bar, and supremely improved traditional concessions including hot dogs, Pizza, variety of different types of popcorn and plenty of candy. Prices, in my never to be humble opinion, are EXCELLENT - $4 senior rates on Mondays and Wednesdays and $5.25 for everybody on Tuesdays.

This hotel has a restaurant in it call steak and shake, I have called the the hotel regarding this restaurant, and my taco salad there was a fly, my son ordered a burger with they brought to him raw, he took a few bites and as we sat there or my other son was eating his salad, my son with the burger became very ill, they refused to pay for the burger, as soon as we stepped out of Southport hotel that housed steak and shake, we got down the stairs of the hotel and cross the street my son begin to vomit, , across the next street to our hotel Grandview, he vomited again, he got into our hotel room he vomited again, he vomited until the next morning, I called steak and shake and South point hotel they did nothing about it has not returned my phone calls, so now I am trying to file a civil suit. Whatever you do do not eat at STEAK N SHAKE

Something is happening to some of my reviews! I gave this theater a 5 star review a long time ago and it just showed up in my history with no description and 1 star. I didn't do that. Anyway, this theater was very nice and we enjoyed seeing a couple of movies during our visit to Las Vegas. The prices were what you'd expect, compared to other theaters. Seating was comfortable and climate controlled. Next time we're in Vegas we'll definitely go back.

One of the better movie theaters in Las Vegas. They have 2 large concession areas and the way they are laid out makes the line move faster. Plus they make kettle corn which isn't available at some other movie houses. I love the XD theater for the larger screen, audio enhancements and reserved seating, it is definitely worth the extra bucks.

I like how beautiful the ceiling looks over the snack bar area. Besides that, the service was great, the snacks were tasty and our movie was perfect. The theater wasn't overcrowded like most movie theaters so it was easy to get a good seat and relax. Will definitely be going back.

Love ths place. It has all the new releases and they have kettle corn as well as regular popcorn. I love that all day tuesday is cheaper than the other days of the week. I have never been here when it has been overly crowded. Just saw Hotel Transylvania at 1.45 today and there were only 8 of us in the theater. This is one of my favorite places to see the movies at.

I've visited quite frequently. The first time I visited (about 2 months ago). I bought a drink and popcorn and was headed to the guy taking the tickets when he informed me that the tickets I had bought online were for the wrong theater (about 12 miles away). I went to the ticket desk, where the very kind gentleman informed me that they weren't showing that film, but he'd be happy to exchange my ticket for a different film. Great customer service all around. They have a repeat customer in me.

Movie was clear, sound was excellent, 3D was good, but the seats were tiny and far, far too close to the row in front of you. I kept getting kicked in the back, and bumping my knees on the poor lady in front of me. And, everyone in the row had to stand up to let anyone pass. I wouldn't see another movie here. It was uncomfortable, despite the seats being nicely padded. I felt like I was on an airplane, but worse!

We didn't actually see a movie here, but wanted to get some popcorn because you can smell it from the casino. You cant get to the snack bar unless you have a ticket, so we asked if we can just get popcorn and they were totally cool with it. Greatly appreciated it.

The XD auditoriums are great and the theater has some decent concessions options. Lines can get long and backed up for concessions but they are usually pretty quick about getting everyone through. As a local this is my usual go to spot for the movies. There are nicer theaters but it fits the bill just fine.

This theater is buried deep inside the south point casino complex on the second floor. You walk clear across the casino and up to the second floor. A place I'm personally not going back to. No discounts unless you have a player's card, who wants one of those to go see a movie. Only half the snack bar was open and staffed with long lines. YUCK

Really great service, the guy who does tickets before the movie rooms was very patient while I pulled up my online ticket, and he was really nice. The employees at the snack bar were incredibly helpful and very smiley, and the movie theater itself is huge and comfortable, the seats are very cushioned and conform to my body comfortably. They keep this place extremely clean I might add, and the bathrooms are pristinely clean as well! I was pleased, and of course, the movie experience itself was awesome. This is a great place to go watch movies as opposed to some other flimsy movie theaters.

Pricey like every other movie theater but excellent seating; very comfortable, good movie selections. The screen in theater #4 has some sort of a flaw mid-screen that can be seen on occasion. Sound was great, not over powering. Temperature was good; didn't need a coat. All in all, had fun.

One of my favorite theaters in Las Vegas. They have the standard popcorn and nachos, but they have a bar as well. The XD theater is very nice and worth the upgrade. It's not much more either for it. Lots of space and clean bathrooms while we were there. They have $5 movies as well on Tuesdays. If it's close to you then definitely worth it.

This is a very convenient movie theater great for locals and tourist looking to see a movie. It's prices are the same as any other movie theater so nothing special there. Although I've never gotten any food they usually have plenty warm and ready. The concession area can become quite busy at times. They have two sides but usually only one is open. However as long as you don't go on Tuesday this won't be a problem.

Love their senior ticket prices on Monday and Wednesday (with players card). Also their refreshments are more reasonably priced than most of the competition. They seem to play all the latest movies in line with the other theaters. The theater is older and a bit worn but well kept and the seats are comfortable. Always very clean.

I love the popcorn there! The person who helped us by our tickets there was great! We wanted to go see Incredibles 2 and he informed us that there was only 20 seats left, which meant we'd be sitting up front. He let us know what else was showing at about the same time. We decided to see Jurassic World in stead and then had trouble switching tickets on our Movie Pass account. He was very patient and understanding while we did that. Super customer service!

First of all: Jessica followed me into room screaming on my chair on top of my shoulders saying that I was a scum of the earth and that I shouldn't be there because I don't look good for the theater. Jessica is very discriminative person and degenerate any person that does not look white like her. Went in on a Friday night with three kids and had the entire place to ourselves. Must not be too popular since it's inside of a casino, but if you don't mind walking through to the upstairs section, then you'll practically have the entire theater to yourself. It was awesome!

Southpoint theaters is a very great theater. The staff always works really hard and even when they go through tough customers all day they still work hard to make every customer comfortable and happy. The cleaning staff is always working hard to clean the theaters before people show up (even though sometimes people show up before they are supposed to) but they always apologize for the inconvenience and clean quickly. They greet everyone well at the ticket booth. The food is really good. My favorite are the hot dogs and the pretzel bites. Food is always cooked appropriately and thrown away after it has been out for too long. Mangers are always accommodating and help any customer in need. Over all I would always go to this theater where it's comfortable and family friendly.

We watched two movies in one day, we had good prices, comfy seats, and great quality of the screens. The environment is nicely maintained and common areas clean. Some of the theaters are a little dated and their equipment could be updated. If you're going for that almost nostalgic feel of slightly distorted projection, you've come to the right place! Actually some of the theaters here are up to date and look sharp, so it's well worth seeing a movie here. Tuesdays are $5 movie nights but goodness I've seen clown cars preshow full of elephants that weren't as packed as the line gets here on a Tuesday. Come prepared. Maybe buy a later showing early. Bring cardboard body armor, I don't know. Theater has great concessions, though with the typical price gouging. You can lose almost as much there as you can downstairs at the tables, and that's with an average appetite.

The problem with this Cinemark is that it doesn't have the "Luxury Loungers" seats that other Cinemarks in Las Vegas do (like the one in the Orleans, Santa Fe, Suncoast). (see photo attached). You will regret watching a sold out movie in those tiny little seats because there's just not enough foot space and oxygen for 400 people in the same auditorium. Do yourself a huge favor and go to the Cinemark in the Orleans, Suncoast or Santa Fe. You'll thank me later. Watch a movie here and one at a Cinemark with the "Luxury Loungers" and you will remember this review. ;)
