The couple who own this Theater are very sweet, they serve alchohol, popcorn, candy and soda. It is such a beutiful Theater in doors. I'm so happy this Theater was able to stay open.

This is a great flashback to my childhood. Single screen theater that is very large. The sound system was good and the seats were comfortable. Plus the snacks were a good price.

Charming! The owner is a wonderful host and the employees are a delight. This was an entertaining way to spend an evening! Be sure to visit if you're in Ely. And, the Art Deco ceiling is awesome!

this movie theater has really old seats, they are really squeaky and quite uncomfortable. the overall experience was good though. becides the over priced snacks. the movie was big and loud, but get got to pick where we sat. good good.

Looks old and haggard from the outside, you won't care. This old theater has character newer theaters lack. It has lots of space, a cool decorated ceiling, a huge stage where the huge screen is, comfy seats, good sound, did I mention lots of space? Very reasonable prices, good movies, be amazed and come back often. It has flaws- need a serious upgrade in the bathrooms and the old dude (owner?) should calm down instead of lecturing happy excited little kids on the most minor rule infractions (don't run, don't bounce that ball when leaving, nag nag). Do that and it would be a fabulous place. As it stands, ignore Mr. Officious (he means well, but a nag is a nag) and be very happy Ely has a very nice theater - 5 stars.

Great old school feel with modern conveniences. Chris, Don, Amber, and the rest of the family have done such an amazing job of turning a once closed theater into the amazing place it is today. It's a single screen and depending on what they can get they may have either a single show or two different films per week. And considering what it costs to go to a fancy multiplex in town you not only get a ticket but snacks as well for what a ticket alone costs at your corporate multiplex.

This is a grand old theater that has seen better days, but it's beautiful nonetheless. The current management is very enthusiastic about returning at least some of its previous glory and I hope they're successful. It would be a shame to see it just fade away and crumble into history. If you should ever find yourself in Ely, be sure to go see whatever they are showing.

I love this theater. It's an amazing place to go see a movie with your family or even some friends. Also, they've made multiple improvements to the place lately, especially with concessions. Whilst they may not get movies as soon as they come out, it is Ely NV so you can't expect much. Overall, it's a great place.

This is an old theater. The art deco ceilings, fixtures and doors are appealing. The sound system and screen are adequate to handle the new movies they present. Old fashioned popcorn and snack bar fare complete what turns out to be an enjoyable evening out at a fair price.

This is a great theater that Ely is lucky to have. They get new movies in weekly, showing one at a time. The building is historical and has beautiful art deco ornamentation. The people that work there are very friendly. Showtimes are somewhat inflexible, usually at 7pm with a matinee on the weekend. The tickets and concessions seem a little pricey, but that probably helps keep the theater in business! Definitely a gem of the town!
