We won’t be going back. We went to see Star Wars and despite asking three times, the theatre stayed at a balmy 83 degrees. Most patrons stripped down to tank tops, boots and socks off. It was miserable hot. My chair was broken down the middle so very uncomfortable. Screen was just slightly bigger than the big screen tv we had at home. We wondered how it could be that we got Star War tickets so easily.

I visited this cinema many times, and I always enjoy the people, food, and films of choice. The people are always kinda and considerate, the food is good ( but the the best thing about it is that it’s cheap), and the theaters themselves are clean and well kept. In addition to these aspects, the establishment is good for families and singles alike.

Nice people, looks brand new but the seats have to be the cheapest I've ever sat in. I'll probably not return. Either wait for the movie to come out on some other media ie Netflix or try Kalispell which is close.

This is a smaller theatre but makes the experience more intimate. Seats were comfortable enough. There is good spacing between seats front and back but side to side may be a tight squeeze for larger framed people. Due to the smaller theatre size almost every seat is a good which is awesome since there is no assigned seating. I was happy to notice the sound quality was great as well. Overall I recommend for a general movie. It may not suite your needs if you need a huge screen.

We love Whitefish Mountain Cinema! It's so great to have a 4-screen theater right here in Whitefish. The ticket prices are affordable, the staff is great, and you can actually buy snacks there without having to break the piggy bank! Take advantage of this great theater in town!

Pretty decent theater for a small town and only having 4 screens. Watched a popular movie that just came out that weekend and was still able to get a good seat 15 minutes before the movie started. Place seemed clean. Audio was good. Screen was relatively sized for a budget theater. The seat I sat in squeaked a little but was still fairly comfortable for a 2 hour movie. I didn't have any snacks but I noticed they were cheaper than most big name theaters. I would go again.

If you're looking for the huge stadium type corporate theater, this is not for you. If you remember the days of the mom and pop movie house and like to harken back to a simpler time, like me, you will love this gem.

Love this theater! Reasonable tickets and consessions prices (especially when comparing to other area theaters), friendly staff, and a clean facility. Can be hit or miss with the popcorn though...doesn't always seem as fresh/warm as I'd like.

Not sure how I should rate "Stars". It's an old school, small town movie theater that shows 4 current movies. It has the old style seats (not the cush recliners in large cities). No 3D or IMAX screens. I give it 5 stars because it's the best of what it is. We were actually the only 2 people in our movie.... surreal... but still fun. Tickets are inexpensive so is the.popcorn, pop and candy. I've seen several movies here and will definitely go see more.

My family and I have gone here for years. It IS a very nice theater and I remember being ecstatic when they finally made it so you could use a card and not cash only. But it has been very hard to go back here after our last experience. I was there with my husband and three kids. After confirming the amount of tickets and I had placed my card in the chip reader, the young girl at the register TOLD me to pull my card. Like an idiot I did and apparently the transaction wasn't complete. The tickets did not print and when we tried again it came back "insufficient funds". I got out of the line and checked my bank statement online and I showed the manager that the money had been taken from my account. He basically told me they don't deal with the funds and it will be automatically reimbursed since it said on the screen that the transaction was terminated. Don't get me wrong, I do understand. And my account was reimbursed... Three days later. But I don't carry credit cards and I didn't have enough money to buy 5 more tickets. It was very hard to walk out with three kids under the age of ten after being very excited about going to the movies- which is something we don't do very often. I'm not asking for sympathy. I do honestly blame myself for listening to the girl, rather than read the screen for myself. But the manager didn't even act sorry. I wasn't asking for a handout. I didn't expect free tickets. I just wanted to be treated like a human with compassion. To be coldly told, in more or less words, "it's not my problem" with out so much as a "I'm sorry this happened and it's out of my control, but I do hope you come back," makes me hesitate to return.

The seats are a tad uncomfortable but the prices are more than worth it. We have 5 kids and we can get candy and drinks for everyone for around 20$. Admission is also far far cheaper than kalispell

This was my first time to this cinema in Whitefish, and was a good experience. We went to a $6.75 matinee show, which is a reasonable price. The seats seemed pretty new and were nicely padded and pretty comfortable. Nothing was knock-your-socks-off amazing, but everything was nice. I'd pick this theatre over the large one in Kalispell.

To me better than Stadium 14 in Kalispell, better priced, better staff, clean, usually a quieter crowd, which is nice. Keep movies rotating through well to keep a good variety.
