REVIEWS OF Regal Columbia & RPX IN Missouri

Tricia Chacon

Clean and in good condition in theater. Bathrooms look like they need cleaning and repairs.

Jon Green

There are plenty of better ones. The place had a weird smell and I can pay cheaper prices at places with reclining seats and spaces to move.

Josh B

This theatre is a great place to go watch a movie. I ordered 4 tickets to see Avengers Endgame and the atmosphere felt good during the movie and when we bought popcorn. The service was good but there was nothing outstanding. The quality, sound, and size of the movie was great. My weaknesses are that the arcade here didn't have many good games to play and you can't pick seats in the theater anymore, instead you have to reserve seats before going in which means that if you get a bad seat, you will be stuck sitting there. Overall this is a great theatre to watch a movie at with a mediocre arcade. I would recommend this theatre to anyone who wants to watch a new movie, but I would not recommend this to anyone who just wants to play at the arcade.

Joshua Kluck

Great 3D movie watched End Game pretty decent experience

Matthew Burnett

Easy online ticket purchases, clean, accommodating, and with great seating & general amenities.

Richard Robinson

It was awesome movie see it for yourself okay

Kris Terry

Great theatre. It helps that AT&T offers a buy one get one free movie ticket deal on Tuesday. Otherwise this place would be overpriced.

David Bentley

The new way to check in is horrible. You now have select your seat at the time you purchase your ticket. So, if someone has taken your seat or if you are sitting next to a bunch of obnoxious patrons your stuck. I will be going to other venues after my last experience here.

Ldy Nja

Better since the remodel. It doesn't smell like must & mold anymore.

Heather Laus

It was nice and clean the staff was helpful even though most of its self serve

Brandon Maberry

Wanted to give the place a higher rating but the theater room was so cold I could barely stand it. Saw people leave and go get blankets from their car

smblock400006

Extremely overpriced cost of $60 with movie tickets three drinks and a large popcorn, seems a little out of control to me, movie quality is good

Nancy Nash

One now has to pick a theater seat location, when buying a ticket. This does not work well when meeting friends. Have to prearrange meeting outside of ticket booth and then buying tickets together. This is inconvenient for groups of three or more. . . .

Christian Bedy

I used to work here and even after leaving it's still my go to theater. The popcorn is awesome and their drink sizes are huge! Of course that comes with the expected movie theater prices but it's worth it. The movie rotation is constant and it tends to have more options than the other theater in town. Also stadium seating is a big plus because you don't have to worry about sitting behind someone too tall. They recently added reserved seating and that makes the stress of going to a movie opening night much less. All in all definitely worth the price for the quality of a theater.

John Rinck

Friendly employees. Always clean. First choice to see a movie in Columbia.

Tom Dillard

Honestly the only time I go to this theater is when the Goodrich theater on Forum isn't playing what I want to see. The Regal is usually pretty dirty and they charge $10 for low quality seats and $20 for basic quality seats or the RPX as they call them. Were as Goodrich chargers $10 for basic seats and $20 for D-Box interactive seats. And while I'm not a fan of the D-Box seats at least they're bringing something extra to the table to justify the $20 cost. I'm from Mississippi and one of the things I was hoping for when I moved up here was better quality theaters but truth is in Mississippi $10 gets you a very comfortable leather recliner with a temp controlled Cup holder. So needless to say I was a little disappointed. The Regal isn't the worst theater I've ever been to but it's far from the best.

Jennifer

Friendly staff, decent ticket prices, good movie selection. Food isn't bad, they just need to switch to Pepsi. overall not a bad theatre.

I hate regal theaters. But thier seats are good and so is popcorn.but thier service is terrible. And if you buy large drink you can only have one. That's terrible

Aric Foster

Over all the movie was very good. But we went to auditorium 4 and got met with a mildew like smell. I understand it was really rainy and wet a few months ago but it shouldn't be this way. It was very difficult to focus on the movie with that pervasive stench. Not only you're paying for a movie you want to see but you pay for a foul smell when you enter the room. It was very unfortunate. Going again might be an option if the room didn't smell moldy. Take care of it now, its not healthy

Ashley Granger

I always choose Forum over Regal if possible. A soda at Regal will run you about $6. To buy tickets, you have to wait outside, so that's a lot of fun when it's a busy time and it's 20 degrees out. They never seem to have enough employees because the lines are long. They also won't butter your popcorn, which is a bummer because no one likes popcorn with butter just on top, and it also takes even more time to add what you want to your popcorn so make sure you leave plenty of time. Their seats aren't as comfortable as Forum, and I don't think they're as big, and you can't lift up the armrest. The popcorn isn't as good, either, and you only get refills on the large soda and popcorn (at Forum, you can refill your own drink as often as you want, and refills on popcorn are 50 cents). I really only go when I have to. Their crown club reward program isn't that great either. My friend finally had enough points to get something free and they wouldn't give it to her because she didn't go online and load that specific thing on her card. At Forum, you have a frequent movie goer card that you can connect to your moviepass, which is great, you get a discount every time on "reel deals," you earn points for free stuff quickly and can choose how to use your points. Everyone I know only goes to Regal if they have a movie that isn't available at Forum.

Amber Greene

Always awesome to go here.

Billy Hicks

Great sound, clean and good prices for tickets.

Tiffany Koppenaal

I come here often even though the tickets and concessions are higher priced then other places. This new seating arrangement is honestly stupid...What will you do if someone doesn’t sit where they are suppose to, stop the movie? Good luck with the new seating arrangements.

Chris Cox

Very nice theater. The RPX is outstanding. The rest of the theaters could use updates though as the seats are not too comfortable. The popcorn is the best and worth the trip alone. I drive 30 miles to this theater approximately 3-4 times a week.

Tony E

Good Theater feels a little dated though.

Cody G

Great theaters. Excellent staff. Good prices on tickets. I wish they would ease up on the prices of snacks, drinks and popcorn. Nice gaming room upstairs. Good selection of games.

John Criswell

Nice place to see a movie. Too expensive to attend often. So special occasions or discount movie nights are the best bet.

Joshua Spurgeon

A nice 14-screen Theater with stadium seating. Select from available assigned seating, so purchase tickets early to select the good seats. Outside ticketing booths or choose the automated ticketing kiosk inside to the left. Use the Regel app to purchase tickets and gain credits towards concessions and free tickets Large lobby. Full arcade area on second level. Bathrooms in main lobby and at East and West wings. Large parking lot. Great location right next to the highway. Main restrooms need maintenance and a remodel.

Allan Burns

Worst theater ever seats are uncomfortable they won’t even let you bring your own drink. Good thing there isn’t one were I live they would go out of business

Kate Yanos

Ticket prices are incredibly expensive now. I shouldn't need to take out a loan to see a movie.

Estella Groves

Standing in a line 20 deep with one person at the concession stand for the premiere of captain marvel. meanwhile I see the manager walking aimlessly around the lobby. More than 15 minutes to get to the front of the line.

Les Marzipan

Watched Endgame and Venom here. The screen in the theater I was in can be kind of distracting as it doesn't let the scenes to be entirely clear in lighter scenes. Food prices are of course sky high, but it's fine if you don't go too often. The games upstairs are a scam. Unless you're rich and have time to spare, don't do it.

Aaron Green

Regal is one of the nicer theater chains in my opinion. This Columbia location is no different. Clean, modern, and friendly staff. Always a great experience.

Byron Scarbrough

Love the early movies, usually not busy. need more salt on the popcorn though.

Sarah Brown

The theater's air quality is horrible. It smelled musty like mildew and dust. I felt sick the day after from breathing in the air. I am not sure what is wrong with the place, but it was very humid in the theater. I do not recommend seeing a movie here because you will have to sit through the movie smelling the mold and musty smell. Stay home!

James Stevens

Definitely NOT worth going to. Advanced seating is the most ridiculous thing i ever herd of. They asked me where i wanted to sit and i said umm in a seat. Ive never seen the theater before so i want to get a ticket then go into the theater and pick my seat. Ive tried going there once and will never try again.

Brian Collinge

Nice clean theater. The screen I sat in was reserved seating and I was not familiar with it so the attendant recommended the perfect seat

Bob Mahurin

Saw unplanned. Good experience af theater.

Dalyn Crouch

I lost my wallet here after watching a movie. When I called I was sent to a never ending voice machine that wouldn't let me get to anyone for help. I drove back and asked for assistance and they wouldn't even allow me to go and check my seat for it. Instead I was left to wait for another full movie to end before actually being helped. My wallet could be stolen at this very moment. If you want human beings to help you, who actually understand you, don't come here.

Leo King

It was so freaking cold inside the movie theater. It was horrible didn't watch all of the movie had to leave cause it was freezing in there

Tresia Griffith

Very comfortable seats, great sound production

Cathy DeShazo

Great place to watch a movie with a lot of choices to choose from. Good snacks and comfortable seating.

K Cho

It's not bad. Normally not very crowded. Services are good. Theater itself needs some renovation though.

Phill Bates

Took my Grandson to see How to train your Dragon 3. Wasn't too crowded. It was a good movie, he and I enjoyed it alot. Getting expensive though. But worth it for the memories.

Dokidoki

Best cinema in columbia with no doubt, it has arcade place in second floor while u are waiting for the seat, only one thing disappoints me is that only have student discount through mon-thur

ERIC logan sr

What men want was awesome. Had a Gr8 TIME

Sandra BRINEY

Great movie experience at Regal...love the commemorative keychain! Thank you...

Krystian Ramlogan

Good sound, projection, decent seats. A bit pricey but, that's inflation for you.

Jake Sampson

We haven't beenbto the movies inia while so we arrived early and got tickets to Captain Marvel. We went in and we're we' first people there, got the perfect seats. People came in and started telling us we were in their seats. Apparently you have assigned seating and none of your lazy employees care enough to tell anyone. What do you even have the usher for, that's their job. Moved several times before we realized our seats were in the back corner, got our money back for movie tickets but would not refund our concession purchases. We would have been fine with everything if someone would have just let us know anything. Will not be returning.

Rick Garrett

Went and saw Bohemian Rhapsody (It was an awesome movie!) The theatre was nice, clean and the seats were comfortable.

Kim E

Nice theater, very friendly staff. The theater has plenty for the kiddies to do while waiting for the movie to start as it has an amusement game area so make sure you bring lots of money!

Monster.Bro.

Seats could have been more comfortable but overall pretty good experience.

Joe Schmidt

People were in our reserved seats in a busy theater, so I asked them to move. They told us people took their seats, so they took ours and they weren’t moving. I asked management to move the people in our seats, because we had a party of 4 and wanted to sit in our reserved seats next to each other. Management pussyfooted around the issue, wanting to be non-confrontational, and they gave us four free tickets. We wanted our seats that we reserved, not free tickets. I don’t want to go to a theater that lets you reserve seats, which gives you the impression of confidence, and then doesn’t uphold those standards. I’d rather go to a theater that I don’t reserve my seats and am fully aware that the earlier I come, the more seats there will be to choose from. I understand it would be a disruption to move everyone around, but the expectation is that we pay for seats that we reserve, we get them. That is not the case with this theater. They do not stand up for their customers.

Robert Crowley

Amazing display, good video quality, every aspect of a movie being complimented is met. Except the price.. 8 dollars for a large drink?? No thanks!!

Andrew Lueckenhoff

Good place to catch a good show.

Jeff Bibles

Very nice theatre. Little pricey, but nice.

Spencer Darr

Just walked up and the movie times listed online and in the building were not accurate. Insanely stupid. This establishment is garbage.

Jonnette Whittler

✨Went to see Overcomer... Absolutely great movie ✨✨✨can't wait until it comes out I will definitely buy it✨

Raymond Latocki

Seats were old school cloth and seemed damp from cleaning, could smell the cleaner (which is good, but ?) We are not from this area and the reason I give a 3 star is for all the customers on cell phones during the movie, I counted at least 6 in front of us (we were in the center). I asked the ones in front of us to please stop 3 times and received rude comments. After the movie i approached 2 employees at the ticket station asked them what the theaters policy was as I was not from the area, expanded to them what happened. They replied i should have contacted them, sorry but I'm not going to walk out with my kids to have them enforce what they should be doing. I can understand if it was just one person on their phones, but this seems like this is an ongoing problem that should be pro active by employees. My family of 6 will probably not return to this theater.

Renee Chandra

Clean theatre! They have improved a lot.

Tanya Jones

Very quiet, clean, and spacious. Lines usually long every time I go

digitalsignalx

It's been about 7 years since I've seen a movie in a theatre, and this was definitely a positive experience that makes me want to go again instead of merely waiting for video or on demand. The parking was easy, though handicapped spots were well off to the side rather then closer to the door. The staff at the ticket and concessions counters were friendly and courteous. The lobby was clean, with some seating and restrooms close by. Prices seemed "normal" for a movie, a drink and box of candy - that is to say high, but not excessive. My film was an RPX feature which I'd never experienced before. The screen was slightly larger it seemed, but very crisp looking, and the sound great though perhaps a tad loud. Seating was very comfortable, with slight recline. I did have a great deal of difficulty lowering my arm rest with the cup holder. Had to actually stand up and pull at it leveraging my weight some. There were about 20 minutes of previews and commercials prior to the feature, which irritated my guest, but I didn't mind much. The film was 120 minutes and I was comfortable sitting the duration.

S. Meisinger

Popcorn is a staple. Rest of snacks were typically priced for a theater. Seats were comfortable with great sound for movie.

Pete M.

Today I went to see a movie to cash in my Regal Crown Rewards for a free movie. Apparently you need the app to do so. App wouldn't work and so I was going to lose my free movie that expires tomorrow. Manager on duty was kind and accommodating enough to offer me a free movie pass for future use, since the app wasn't working. Good customer service that was appreciated.

Eric Landeros

Great service and very clean. Comfortable seating and great sound and view. Prices for food are high. If you bring hot dogs in your purse it will get inspected.

Rikki Bertagnolli

The new pre-assigned seating is AWFUL! Stop it. Every time I’ve gone I’ve got stuck sitting behind a ridiculously tall person (I’m short) and my boyfriend always ends up in front of children- so they can’t see. If it’s not premier night- get rid of it.

Audrey Kerr

This is my favorite theater in Columbia. The movies look and sound great. And the blue Icee tastes the best here.

Blue Star Mama

Interesting theater, not bad, not great, average. Young man at the popcorn stand was helpful and professional if not overly friendly. Sat in the very back row with my granddaughters and the seats are narrow and very low. Armrests do not go up, very large, meandering building. Disabled parking on the side, seems further away than regular parking, very pricey at snack bar.

Cristina Walker

We took my daughter and nieces and nephew to the movies for the first time and saw the Lego movie. Nice seating and bathrooms. Tickets were pretty reasonable with 3 adults and 3 kids.

Roger Marsh

The seats are comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and well-stocked. This is a fine-looking theater from top to bottom and we enjoy going.

Latonya Jones

It was great experience with my Niece and I. The staff was fabulous in assisting us when had to change our show time.

Stephen McBee

The staff here are professional and the seats are comfy!

Ann Rennier

The movie & staff were great! The theater had a strong cleaning smell & seats were damp! Thought I was going to have a wet butt! I wasn't the only one that notice.

Frederick Forck

Creed II. Michael B. Jordan did an outstanding job acting as Adonis Creed. Great range of emotions. Super delivery. Good story.

Molly Moody

Could use a renovation. More expensive than most movie theaters for a less pleasurable experience.

Becca Bishop

I usually prefer this theatre, however we were in theatre one tonight and it smelled horrible like mold and we all feel weird, our throats are raspy and sore and our lungs feel weak from breathing it in for a 2 hr movie like ??? What's going on?? Fix it!!

Frank Green

Clean and comfortable.

brad allen

they need to turn the volume up!!!!!! The last few movies I have seen at this theater you can barely hear the movie. It’s way to quiet!!!! Please Columbia get an AMC

Nathan Howell

Clean, excellent service, although seats were very close together and slightly uncomfortable because of the small size.

Corina Castillo

Very modern and up with the times! I have had excellent experiences with the workers here!

Larry Staton

Terrible. They would not allow my daughter to bring in my 3 week old granddaughter because she was too young. Discrimination of any kind is wrong and your employee Caleb was the one that made us leave. Ryann was only sleeping and he stopped us at the concession stand and told us to leave. That ruined our planned family movie together. We had to go to Forum 8 to watch our movie. Regal needs to stop illegal age discrimination before legal action is required. Thanks for managing this issue.

Charity Hammond

It's a pretty nice place! I recommend it!

Aubrey Smith

I love this theater. It is never too crowded or loud and the employees are awesome.

Pete Szkolka

The sound and picture quality were great. Too many commercials before the movie. Snacks are ridiculously overpriced, as is typical of movie theatres. Seats were very comfortable.

Yolanda Hernandez

It was comfortable & afordable. I got to see Toy Story 4. It was an awesome! It was not crowded. It was quiet.

Growing Young LLC

I really enjoyed the movie"The second stage" the seats were very comfortable. The rows of seat were at a 5o% grade slope. So the person in front of me I could hardly see the top of her head. Plenty of room in my seat to be comfortable also. I always get a slurpy at a movie and theirs was the best ever! Nice and thick but, not syrupie. It was a wonderful experience!! Oh and the give military discounts! Saweeet! I def. Recommend

Matt Stryker

Went and saw The Lion King yesterday. My ticket was for 7:15 in auditorium 7. When the previews started I noticed that the picture was pretty dim and slightly out of focus. I thought maybe it would be better once the movie started, but it got worse. There were visible vertical stripes on the screen and the sound was so muted it sounded like it was coming out of a cell phone. I got up and moved to the next auditorium which was showing it at 7:30. The sound was way better but the picture was still dim. Besides installing the RPX a few years ago I feel like they have put no money into this theater.

Shannon Standley

Its pretty clean, movies are fun

Nathan Genovese

A really excellent movie theater.

Michelle Green

Nice seats! Popcorn was good. Could have used more people working. Service was still good.

Michael Meyers

Always a good time! Clean and comfortable.

Sandy Stirewalt

We had the most pleasant experience today and the manager, Lindsey, really went above and beyond to work with us. She definitely puts customer satisfaction first and we really appreciated everything she did for us. Thank you so much!

Anna-Marie Mullins

Hollywood/Regal Theatres as its known locally is a fantastic place to catch a film. The prices are completely reasonable for a theatre of its size, comfort, and cleanliness. Always the first in its area with a new movie showing. Has a giant arcade to kill time and a good rewards points program. Offers a huge array of snacks to choose from and feels like how a movie theater should feel.

Sarah Williams

HUGE theatre!! Staff friendly & helpful

Karina Koji

Regal is close to our house, so we end up there on the rare times we go to a movie. Unfortunately it costs more than Forum and is in dire need of cleaning and updating, so we'll be making the trek to Forum next time. It smelled strongly of urine in the hallway and of mildew in the actual theatre. It was humid in the theatre. The seats are uncomfortable and unclean. The bathroom stall doors don't lock well and the floors are wet and littered with toilet paper. Everything except the RPX theatre is just outdated and should be totally redone. Staff are friendly.

c myers

Very nice though the concessions are higher than other local theaters I've been in.

Lee Cole

Nice place and comfortable. Nice family theater

Jessica Stannard

Takes FOREVER to get tickets. We showed up with just enough time and ended up late to the movie because it takes an ETERNITY to get seats

Margaret Sears

Great place

Patrick Daniel

The patchwork/stitching is very visible on their screens and the audio quality is pretty terrible

Gary Smith

Saw a great movie today. Isn't It Romantic. Great service at the Regal.

Tanner Dodson

Decent theater. I go out of my way to hit the RPX showings, as it's the nicest experience. Non-RPX shows are a gamble on if you'll get one of the larger theater rooms, or one of the smaller, more outdated ones.

Mr Bacon

Its a good place has good stuff movie tickets are not expensive

Kenneth Thomas

First time visiting this place awesome theater wasn't freezing in the theater like most others

Shawna Hinson

Went there for the summer movie with my kids today. Mind you I had just called there a few days before to confirm the day and time.... Yet when we got there I was told they they no longer participated in the summer movies. Now I've got 3 upset kiddos and am one very upset mama that will never come back to this place after what happened today!!! Since no one seemed to care at all or took any accountability for me being told to be there on Wednesday at 11 am. So we wouldn't miss out getting tickets to get in. Therefore after leaving this review I will now be calling corporate as well.

Ber Hajek-Jones

Theater was basically empty but the people were very nice. Also for people like me who care: they use glasses caption devices not cup devices.

Ashley Correa

yeet all day

Jason Boos

Couldn’t make it through the previews before I had to leave due to the smell of cat urine in the theater. General area did not have that problem.

Marla Le

Overall it’s a nice theater. Prices are alright, concession prices are normal for a movie theater. One thing that sets this place apart from the other theater in town is that you can reserve your seats ahead of time or choose them as you are buying your ticket at the booth. They have a variety of showtimes and that makes them very convenient.

Steven Steele

I'm visiting Ian from out of town. Where I'm from I normally don't go to Hollywood Theaters. But I have to say this one was pretty exceptional. It was very well kept. And felt like a actual movie theater and I really enjoyed Shazam at this theater

Will Jackson

Great movie experience for the whole family with huge screens and plenty of seating!

Megan Sommerfeldt

GO TO FORUM, NOT REGAL! When we walked into our theatre, we were overcome by a gross, musty smell... which we figured out was our WET seats! They must’ve cleaned them (which is great) BUT why would they welcome customers back into the theatre before the seats dried?? Disgusting!

Elizabeth Frieling

They tell you you can get a free refill but they're liars. Do not get the big soda and expect a refill because you won't get it and they'll be rude about it.

Bowe Brockman

Great friendly staff, clean and comfortable seating! RPX is worth the admission!

Phillip Todd

Theater smelled like mold and wet carpet...the bathroom looked pretty worn down, with toilet handles broken and door handles ripped off... The place could use a remodel and deep clean.

Jonah D

Incredibly unprofessional... Candy for kids was expired and disgusting. Games nonfunctional and when five year old attempted to trade "tickets" in for prizes, was told his card was blank and he had earned nothing. His tears only encouraged management to be accusatory. The only decent experience was the movie as long as you avoided looking at floor. So for almost a hundred dollars my family received mostly sadness.

Ava Lockett

Staff was not helpful. They were rude and not cooperative. I will not support that kind of behavior and will not be coming back. I would pick Forum Theater over Hollywood any day.

Annette Muscato

I love coming here for movies. They have super friendly staff and their management team is top notch. We went here for a movie and the movie stopped partway. We went to let someone know and their management team was already on it. They gave everyone passes to come back and were able to start the movie back up.

Steffen Gastineau

This place is super cool. The best theater in town for sure

Cynthia Wells

The large drinks don't fit in the cup holders so you have to set them on the disgusting floor or have them in your lap in a cold theater. Plus we could hear talking coming from the projector room while the movie was playing.

Deanna S

Don't know why the theaters are starting to smell like urine but they really should do something about it!

M. V.

Friendly staff and good environment! Fine place to watch movies.

Jo Lo

Can someone please give the direct number to contact the cinema? We left a jacket and cannot be connected directly to cinema. I will update the rating when I receive the phone number, Thank you

KARIE CUSTER

Great selection of movies. Great popcorn.

Christopher Kious

Better seats and more of a selection at the snack bar

Double Spike Productions

I had a really good experience when coming here to see "The Grinch 2018."

Jane Richey

Very dark trying to find seats. Spent over $40 on tickets and food one time. Went in the wrong room and a kid got rude with us. The movie had started and they were making us move to another room and we missed some. Then went to manager who is very very rude and got two $10 gift cards for our trouble. When we left they took our food and drinks, snatching it out of my hand. We paid for that stuff. The lobby smells horrible.

Kenny Mcmellen

Awesome hours to watch a movie when you want

Chele Marie

Very comfortable.but need to lower them food prices

Saad Zaidi

A cinema where you can see variety of English and Tamil movies. I want them to screen Hindi/Urdu movies as well. The concession both has no deals and their stuff is expensive. They need to create deals so more people can enjoy their stuff. The cinema is very close to my home so i go there once or twice a week...

Sarah Leith

Good theater but new seating assignment not a fan of.

Ebony Rhodeman

We come to Regal frequently but this time we had a party of 7 and when we got in the theater it was humid, the seats felt damp and it smelled bad. I complained to the manager and after checking seats in another theater room and finding the same results we had to deal with it, because the movie was a part of a graduation celebration. The manager did reluctantly offer us free passes. So upon our next visit again we were met with a humid smelling theater room and a damp feeling to our seats. This is very disappointing if it has been raining a lot in the area and you want to catch a movie I would recommend trying another theater otherwise you may feel like you're sitting on someone else's sweat.

Carl Colvin

Nice theater but expensive for the area, most other theaters in the area are much cheaper

Emily Steckel

Of the all the movie theaters in Columbia, this one is the worst. Everything is more expensive for no reason I can figure, and they don't include tax in the prices like basically every other chain theater manages to do. Then you get to sit down in hands down the worst theater seats. For instance, the last movie I saw there, I got to sit in a seat that randomly leaned back at a 45° angle while the seat part kept folding up, resulting in my knees halfway to my chest and back aches. The arm rests don't fold up so you can't even cuddle up on a date, not that the seats allow you to do so in any case. Then, to really detract from your viewing experience, the lights don't dim at the right time. Save yourself a bad time, go to Forum or Ragtag.

Punam Sethi

Can you please start bringing Hindi Bollywood movies to columbia,MO?

Austin Fitzgerald

I have never had any problems at this theater. Sometimes, however, I am surprised at certain unpredictable gaps in their film repertoire. For instance, Martin Scorcese's "Silence" never played here (okay, it played for one day after I requested it, which is somehow even weirder). All in all, though, it does what it needs to do, which is play movies and serve diabetes.

Andy Hanks

You now have to choose your seats when you buy your tickets. I'm tall and I don't want to be forced to sit in front of a child because we both picked our tickets from a screen at the ticket booth. I'll just go to a different theater so I don't feel like a jerk to some random kid or short person and I'd ask others to please do the same until this policy is changed.

Andrea Kueckelhan

The movie was good. We enjoyed it. However not at ALL the fact you have to pick your seats now! We were the only people even at that show! Ridiculous! Not convenient for anyone especially old people! They need to change it back or people WILL boycott... We say heck to the NO on reserved seating!!!!!

Adam Mustoe

Love the advanced seating options and technology. I saw a negative review on here condemning the glorious practice of advanced ticketing/assigned seats. Without these types of societal boundaries our culture would descend into chaos. I for one refuse to view a movie as if I'm a barbarian. So thank you Regal Columbia Stadium 14 for having a ticket purchasing experience as fresh as your popcorn; and for providing me with stability in the maelstrom of western culture's chaos.

Waymon Jones

It's an okay theater just would like the seats to be more comfortable.

Breanna Market

We were surprised at the state of the theater when we attended the 6:30pm showing of Lion King on 7/18/19 (a week night). The restrooms had not been cleaned or restocked with paper products. The entire theater in general seemed to be run-down and dirty in appearance. The theater seemed to be between rushes with lots of staff standing around making casual conversation with one another. Our seats in the theater 10 were very squeaky to the point that we felt it was disturbing to those viewing the movie around us if we shifted or changed positions. The arm rest my husband and I shared was broken and ended up breaking the skin on his arm and causing him to bleed when he unknowingly placed his arm on the rest. The volume was also quiet for a movie. We were disappointed to learn that this location no longer offers combo pricing for drink and popcorn purchases, and that the only available combo is that candy is a $1 off if customers were to purchase both a beverage and popcorn. This experience was certainly not normal when it comes to our other experiences with this particular theater in the past. It makes us wonder if there has been a change in management or ownership. We were disappointed in the overall cinematic experience and hope that it was a fluke and not a permanent decline in the quality of Hollywood Theaters.

No free refills unless yoi buy a $6 soda. If you buy a small or medium, they make you buy another, if you want more. Also, I bought a Pretzel. Then they asked if I wanted cheese. I said yes. They charged me $2 for cheese. Unreal. Wanna spend $30 to see a movie? Go here!

I got to watch the hulk taco scene from endgame in hd

Pricey but overall nice theater.

I would personally not recommend. Floors are sticky, and the popcorn is less than average and very overpriced. A family member of mine has told me that in the past (can't speak for now, though), bags were being searched to make sure they aren't If you're looking to see any film here and it's also available at the Forum 8 Cinema, I would recommend going there instead. They have much better and cheaper popcorn that you can put toppings on for free, and are generally much better.

Decent theatre that is easy to get to from Highway 63. It does tend to be busier than Goodrich Forum, but the theatre is larger. Do note though that the box office doesn't open until 30 minutes before the first showing, so if you are wanting to try and beat the crowds for a big blockbuster film, I wouldn't suggest getting there much before then. Overall good theatre with decent seats and concessions.

Comfortable seating, nice and clean, good popcorn

A difficult choice to review, but giving 3 out of inaction. Many people in the theater, and several individual groups were 1) talking throughout the film 2) using their flashes 3) yelling at the screen (it's a movie, they can't hear you) 4) announced their departure to the crowd as they left halfway through??? Surely their actions aren't the fault of the theater, but not once did someone come in to intervene. I believe someone is employed to do that.

Bought tickets online, get all the way up there and order was cancelled because they overbooked, got a confirmation email that we orded them but no email telling us of the change. Yes we got our money back but still dishonest.

The guy in the red shirt brown hair looked 21 lies to us (my man and I) about "not being able to scan his screen shot" even tho he switched phones and couldn't log in and the reset password would not work due to being down. Proceeded to say that because of the white line it wont do it at all. The guy at the counter scanned it perfectly fine, absolutely no problem and checked his ID. so I don't understand why it was necessary for him to hassle us and make us late to our movie. And my man told us how he shouldnt have done that and how he should have checked his I'd so he showed him as well.

My girlfriend and I frequent this theatre with our movie passes. We are here weekly. It's comfortable, but almost all of the screening rooms we go into smell terribly of sweat at this theatre. The seating could benifit tremendously from regular cleaning. Screen is great, sound is great, but please address the smell/cleanliness.

Wasn’t impressed with being forced to select seats when the theater was more than half empty. Very inconvenient when someone sits right in front of you or behind you, when in reality, you could normally get up and MOVE to a different location in the theater to avoid kicking someone’s seat or being coughed on. There were plenty of empty seats! When we moved, people arrived to find us in their seats so we moved because they were so literal about seat assignments that they insisted we move. We won’t be back to the Hollywood theater and if all theaters go to assigned seating we won’t be going to the movies. It was uncalled for and created a bit of chaos for no good reason. I guess if it were Star Wars opening weekend then YES this might be proactive but not for How to Train Your Dragon on T/F weekend with a snow storm coming —— slow theater - does not equal seat assignments.

Needs a deep clean. It's a great place except theatre seats were very dirty and theater #5 had a strong wet/ mold odor. It was also very humid before film began. AC did come on as soon as movie began and odor became worse. Service at concession was very good.

Caitlin Donaldson

Expensive, theaters smell moldy, lines on the screens.

Absolutely fantastic establishment, much better than forum 8

Gucci Woman

The candy was hella old.

My favorite place in Columbia to watch a movie! Seats are comfortable and screen quality is great. And RPX is so worth it!
