This place is either losing money or not reinvesting. Torn seats. Skeleton crew (which were friendly and courteous). Heavily stained floors. Very uncomfortable.

This place used to be good when it was Wehrenburg. Now that it's Marcus the place (in my opinion) has gone down. They now charge taxes on ticket prices, the bathrooms are always filthy plus they're outdated, the food is usually cold when served, and now they MAKE you purchase something if you sit in the bistro. AMC would never!

They have a new policy for how big your purse can be to enter the theater. I am not sure why. When the manager was called he stated in a very loud tone that he doesn't care what was done with the purse it just couldn't come in the theater. He was unprofessional in his approach in handling a new policy. He SHOULD have simply said due to new safety precautions we are no longer allowing bags of a certain size. He also was eager to just let the customer get their money back instead of trying to save the customer. He then proceeded to call security, who by the way was much nicer than he was. I probably will not be back.

Love this place! The seating is all these plush, red recliners. You can relax and put your feet up while enjoying a great movie. You get a little table to put your popcorn on and a place for your drink. And there is so much space! When someone needs to go back for more popcorn you don't have to move - let alone contort yourself into the fetal position to let them pass. This was my first time but certainly won't be my last!

The seats were very comfortable. The appearance is relatively cleean. The room size is perfect and you wont feel overcrowded. However, the bugs flying around in the room is not OK. Flies/gnats don't go with food or sugary drink products.

I bought tickets for a movie online and without any warning I wasn't allowed in because my purse was an inch bigger than the allowed 12 inches. I am diabetic and carry food/juice with me at all times and even speaking to the manager I wasn't allowed to bring my purse in due to the size. I had to stash my wallet and diabetic supplies into my pockets. Also the seat warmers didn't work in my friend's seat. Not a great experience.

It seems like they have made some good improvements to this theater. The seats were comfortable. Every thing seemed pretty clean. The snacks weren't bad, even with the ridiculously high price tag, but that's every theater. They have lots of movie times available to work around your schedule.

DREADFUL place- just back from seeing John Wick at 8:20 show- sat back row center (my favorite) and the entire back row were people bringing in boxes of food, things to drink, that felt obligated to shout and grunt at what happened on the screen- pathetic bunch, on their phones texting, talking to each other (it was stereo idiots for both of us) They even brought blankets and made themselves very comfortable- no manners or respect for those around them- I will NEVER return to that place, ever, period- sad commentary on standards of our society. Average theater. I ordered tickets online and it said to take straight to ticket taker so we did, then he said we needed to go to the counter. Not a huge deal, at all, just not what the email said to do. Ordered 3 blue raspberry ICEES, got 1 and then both of the machines stopped working. Ordered 2 drinks instead. Total was $21 for 3 drinks!

I like the serve yourself soda station. Pop corn is yummy and staff is always accommodating. I like to go one Tuesday for the $5 deal. This is definitely the theatre to go to! Saw the movie Bumblebee. It was great! Theatre is up to date, nice seating and great concessions with a bar and arcade. Suggest using Marcus or Fandango app; easy and quick, saves time from waiting in line and you pick assigned seating through app. Great experience!

I love going to the movies. These days it can really dig out the money from the wallet though which is why I was excited to find Tuesdays at Marcus you can see a first run theatrical release for $5.00 per person with snack bar specials as well. It's a nice break for anyone on a budget. They also have theaters with table service for food and cocktails! (Check your local listings, not in conjunction with the Tuesday special prices)

My family and I tried to watch a movie this evening. We were denied entry due to a policy change targeting women's purses. We thought they were joking (especially since my wife's purse was barely over the line their diagram. The manager came and offered no assistance. All he kept saying was that everyone is doing this. I'm not sure who "everyone" is referring to because we have not had this experience at other venues. Rather than offer a solution to hold my wife's purse the manager insisted we leave it in the car - where it could easily be stolen. This policy is aimed to prevent people from brining unwanted items into the movie (which we support and even offered to let them search her bag) but the manager did not even insist on this being a safety policy. Needless to say my family and I will not be returning to a Marcus venue.

Nice size individual theaters, the power reclining seats are comfy. Haven't yet tried the "Dine-in" theater, but looked at the current menu...prices are a little high, but not bad. One thing I liked is that the volume wasn't high enough to make your ears bleed!!! Had that problem at a different place!

I have not been the a local cinama in years, and I was very impressed with their wheelchair accessible seating, the cleanliness everywhere in the building and their sound quality. The only thing I would like Marcus to consider would be to add a "family restroom." This would be very beneficial addition for disabled people with an opposite sex caregiver/assistant to have. The theater is very accessible and offeres large handicap stalls with basins which are great, but an opposite sex caregiver would have to go into the main man/woman restroom to assist.

Not only is this theater in desperate need of repairs, including the always overflowing Men's room and the always broken luxury recliners, but now because St. Charles has such issues with crime, you can no longer bring a purse over a certain size to the theater. In addition to this policy, there are also 3 armed St. Charles County Cops being paid $25/HR to patrol the theater. My wife and i never felt safe in the theater and will be switching to AMC Theaters going forward. NOTE: Conceal and carry was never checked so the stupidity of thinking that a firearm was carried in a purse was shear ignorance on the part of the Marcus family who introduces every movie.

There's a new bag policy that seems extreme. If you're going to ban people from bringing bags larger than a wallet to the theater at least provide courtesy lockers where they can be stowed - or maybe mention it on the website. I did not enjoy having to walk all the way back to my car to hide my purse and I'm sure you're losing bar business from other ladies who had to leave their purses behind.

Love assigned seats and ease of purchasing tickets online and picking up. Love the Bistro with the dine in option where they bring food to your seat . And I even love that they have "The Walking Dead" video game.

Last night was the first time I have gone to this theater since 2007. Wow, very impressed with the renovations; the comfortable leather reclining seating with tables, the bar and large lounge area. The facility was very clean including the restrooms. The concession and bar prices were within reason based on the standard upcharge you pay at movie theaters for food and beverages. The medium popcorn and soda combo was a nice size; I've seen places charge more for less. The service at the concession and bar was good; friendly, helpful, attentive and polite staff. Thanks for such a positive experience!

I work with adults with developmental disabilities and special needs. One of my clients wanted to go see a movie and we chose this theater due to the comfortable seating. Because of my clients different abilities, he became distraught upon entering the dark, loud theater. He was calming down and I was getting him comfortable with his surroundings when theater staff, presumably a manager, asked us to leave due to noise complaints. They said we could return once he was calmed down, but the change of environment would have started the process all over again. This theater is not friendly to those with different abilities. But heaven forbid if I am to do the same to the screaming child three rows back, or the rambunctious teenagers shouting all throughout End Game. I was very disappointed in my experience, and I will pass this theater up to go to AMC Streets of St Charles, despite being twice as far from my house. I would urge anyone who supports the differently able community to avoid this theater at all costs, if not for the horrible business ethic, but for the clientele who will let their child run around the theater like savages, but complain about an adult who is scared and trying to acclimate to his surroundings, only to embarrass him by asking him to leave.

Purses over 12 inches are not allowed. My wife had to put it out in the car. Along with 10 other women whom found out about the new policy. And the the staff was oblivious to customers I had six employees walk past me several times while I was at the concession stand. I literally had to reach over the counter and tap one of the employees to get any service. And even then he acted like he was high. Worst movie going experience I have ever had. Will never go back there again.

They've gone down hill big time since Marcus bought the theatre. It's not as clean, the 5 star lounges are gone and they did away with the 21+ viewings so now there's always obnoxious, screaming kids and you can't watch a movie in peace anymore. I will not go back.

Great except the guy behind the food register. When asked about a new item he just said I Don't know I never had it. Then just stood waiting on our order. Finally we asked if he had someone else who would know. After a couple of insufficient answers and trips to the back we gave up and ordered something else. But, after taking the 1st order (there was 2 of us; he had me wait while he went to retrieve a beeper before taking my order. Very frustrating

I have no idea who is managing this place but it honestly is unacceptable. Absolutely no one cleans this place, and for the money we spent for night out, it was a huge disappointment.

Enough is enough. We take our kids to lots of movies. This theater is 5 minutes away. It was great for a while after the remodel, but it has swiftly fallen into disarray over the last few years. We've had problems here with the last five movies we've seen. One with a picture almost too dim to see, one too quiet to hear, and three with (multiple) broken seats. In addition, the prices at his theater are at least $2 more per ticket than any other theater in the area (even it's sister location in Chesterfield). Its baffling. Management has given us free passes when we've mentioned our issues, but we just ended up sitting in more broken seats. Its frustrating. We're done with this place. I'm not a fan of the nearby AMC theater's ridiculous glass walls, but I'll take that over broken seats any day.

The theater is pleasant enough with the usual amenities and it's in a central location which is easy to find. The security presence no doubt made people feel a bit more comfortable. The one problem which has happened before in this location particularly on weekend nights is rude and noisy young people. It was difficult to hear in the movie at times. Two of us asked them politely to quiet down and they responded by getting louder and bullying and calling names. This location is the one I have had the most difficulty with. I would recommend going throughout the week as it generally will be quieter or avoiding this theater.

Not a bad atmosphere. The theater is a little hidden. By the looks of the street going to the theater you'll think you went into an industrial park. But all in all it's ok. I do not like the pick you seat options. It take slow customers too long to pick. Also there should be a better description of the distance of the seating or exact positioning rather.

Whenever I go to this theater, the experience is phenomenal. The theaters are clean and the picture and sound are perfect. It may just be the particular movies or days I go to see a film, but there is rarely a crowd and plenty of seats are available! The only slight critique is that the lights on the incredibly comfortable chairs are quite bright, so bring a jacket or something to cover them!

Good luck trying to call and talk to anyone at this location I have called for 30 minutes and the only person it will let you contact is box office attendant. And they won't pick up the phone. It would be nice if they had the option to speak with a manager or someone else if the person who is supposed to answer won't pick up

I used to love coming to this theater. I even have the app. I went a few weeks ago, they measured my purse, and they let me in. I went again last week, SAME purse, different person measuring, and they told me it didn't pass. When I asked the guy, why did they let me in a few weeks ago then? How sure are you it's too big? He told me "I'm about 90% sure it's too big". In addition, other restrooms on the lefthand side are in desperate need of renovation or at least deep cleaning. Always feel grossed out within.

Today my husband & I went to see a movie at the Bristol and discovered my purse was a little too big, to be allowed into the theater, so it wasn't allowed in. That is a new policy for Marcus Theaters now, so women BEWARE... Their pop was messed up and my drink had more water than syrup, so it tasted terrible. Our food finally arrived 20 mins after we ordered and it was ok. The movie was Terrific.. We saw Will Smith in Gemini Man. We enjoyed watching it. It appears the theater has replaced their recliners and they are now shorter, than the older ones where. We noticed the difference, because part of our legs & feet hang off. The new seats aren't heated and they aren't as comfortable as the original seats were at one time. I believe, Marcus was a little cheap when they replaced the reclining seats in the old 5 star lounge and they should not have been, after all everyone pays a nice price for comfort, Correct?? It's what we expect & deserve, however you will no longer get that with the seats that are now in the Bristol at St. Charles.

Went to 10:30pm Bistro seating for John Wick and was advised before seating that kitchen will close in 15 minutes so if we wanted anything we needed to order quickly. HEY.. either keep your kitchen open when offering Bistro seating which is why people go there... OR.. dont offer Bistro Theater when your kitchen is closing... very poor management

This is the only theater I really go to. It is always clean, most comfortable seats, intimate theater's. Great special pricing. They may want to check on the customer service skills of one of front window people HE is not very pleasant, comes across as borderline rude.

We showed up Saturday afternoon to see our first movie in over 2 months, we took an Uber. When we tried to enter, they had a surprise new policy that says purses cannot be more than 12 inches wide. They refused to let us in and because we didn't drive we had no where to store the 13" wide purse the entire night was ruined. What an asinine policy and public relations debacle. And to top it off, because we bought the tix through Fandango, they even refused to refund us the money, only a gift card. Totally inexcusable!!!! There were so many people upset with this nonsense it cannot be sustainable in a time where more and more people are staying home to watch movies. They must WANT to go out of business.

Still my choice for movies, but they changed up their deals. To get a popcorn refill you are charged a $1, but only if you get the largest bucket. So rather than getting a $1 for less popcorn, they got no money.

Always love this theater! Family friendly, great seats that actually WORK and are comfortable plus they heat up! Great for winter time. The food is really good, I recommend any of the wraps they have especially the buffalo chicken wrap. Their fries are always well seasoned crispy. The free popcorn to members on Tuesdays in addition to the $5 movie tickets make it easy to go in a cheap date if your short on cash flow or if you have a lot of kids and want to take them all out without having to spend $75 to do it. Awesome!!

Great place to go for a movie get the magic movie rewards and the 5 dollar rewards help. Popcorn and soda will run you 15.40 but an adult ticket is ok at 9.90 regular screen. I love going here would recommend.

I love this place! They have the suite seats which are wonderful! Great place for a date date night. They have a bar and chill lounge. It's also great for a family night as well because they have an arcade as well. My daughter loves it in there! And who could forget the popcorn with extra butter!

Self-serving rules! I had an empty water bottle that I didn't want to leave in the car and the mean, control freak manager wouldn't let me bring it in. I suppose they are afraid I might fill it at the water fountain and therefore not purchase one of their outrageously priced drinks. It was ridiculous and I won't be going there again.

We had a very nice time seeing the new Avengers movie here. They had a very clean and well-ordered location and the seats were incredible. I'm a huge fan of being able to choose my seat ahead of time and the Comfort level has gone way up. I certainly don't mind paying the extra money given the extra amenities.

This theater is awesome! Love the prices! Love everything about it! I have been coming here for years and the bartender Shining sucks, she has a bad attitude and her drink knowledge is poor. I have been coming here for years and I have never experienced nothing but the best from all the bartenders. Not to mention she charges different prices for the same drink every time I come. Wanted to give 5 starts but the bartender made both my last to experiences not the best.

Employees have always been friendly. Theater is typically clean. You can pre-purchase your tickets online as well as choose your seats. $5 dollar Tuesdays. I love going to the movies, but tickets, popcorn and drinks are way overpriced
