I've always loved taking my family to the movies. B&b get some pretty good selections about 80 percent of the time but they still leave us hanging for a few titles. I haven't seen the new renovations yet but I'm sure they are great.

My daughter and I love going to the movies at B&B! We’ve been going for years. We love the updates too! The only thing I’m not so sure about is the reserved seating. I thought it sounded fine untilI took my daughter for her birthday back in December along with her 2 friends, my husband and other child. We picked our seats, very back row and when we got to the room, this family was already sitting in our seats. She was there before us, so I don’t know why she didn’t pick that row if she wanted it. She refused to move, cussed out the employee who tried directing her to the correct seat (this is in front of the children). We could have easily set somewhere else, but then we would have been in someone else’s reserved seating and would have had another problem. So we went back to the counter and the employee swapped our seats for new ones and he was very friendly and apologetic, so I had no issue with him. But by the time we got new seats, the movie had already started. The whole event was just chaotic and to be honest, humiliating! I was so embarrassed but more for the family that acted that way. My suggestion would be if you are going to keep the reserved seating idea into play, maybe hire a couple extra employees to stand at the current movie playing and guide folks to their seats so this doesn’t happen again!

Staff is horrible.Was late opening the doors, movie started 20 min late. Menu screens weren't on to see what to order. The list goes on. For 100 bucks for 5 of us to get horrible service, I'd rather go to Macon's. The new seats were so comfy though.

When I go to see movies in a theater this is where I usually go. I have never had an issue while there. The theaters are clean, the staff is friendly, and helpful. The movies generally begin on time, and I have never had an issue with the quality. The only problem I have, is we do not always get movies here I want to see, or even that would be popular with many Randolph County residents. You therefore wind up driving to Columbia.

Very clean, comfortable, no bad seats. I like choosing seats ahead, no looking for X number of vacant seats in the dark. I just wish online tickets didn't have to wait in line. A pre-purchased ticket printing kiosk or special line would be great. The bar is a nice addition and they card everyone and won't over serve.

To much lighting around the drive in area makes the movies difficult to see. We thought it was the movies on our first visit so gave it another go. Nope, doesn't matter. I would not recommend this drive in, plus the snack bar prices are completely, crazy expensive! Save yourself, pick a different venue for your date nights!

This is a recently remodeled indoor theatre with a drive-in theatre on the property. The main theatre is modern. From reclining seats to an outstanding sound system, it is an enjoyable place to watch a movie. It offers standard concessions and beer on tap. The drawback, in my opinion, is that you have to pick your seat ahead of time. There is no guarantee that a total stranger will not choose a seat immediately next to you, even in a mostly empty theatre. I do miss the days of being able to walk into the semi-dark theater, scan seats & patrons and choose the most private seat possible.

I went here once in the early 90s, and then life happened, moved far away and am now back in mid Missouri. However I'm very glad to see the Drive theater there has survived the test of time. I went on a Friday night double feature, which was an amazing deal for only 10 dollars per person. The journey up from Columbia was pleasant, highway 63 is a straight shot at 70 mph directly to their location. Being on a low sodium diet, it was great to be able both save a lot of money and pack my own healthy snacks and beverages. They do have a clean, well stocked concessions area and restrooms available if you want. Parking was easy, and many backed in to watch from a lowered tailgate or raised hatchback. The spaces are at a slight incline so vehicles in front of you don't block views of the screen, and audio is conveyed via an FM stereo channel you tune into with your vehicle or portable device. The screen isn't as crisp as its interior counterparts, but still very good and not a distraction. I'd compare it to a step above VHS and slightly lower then DVD/BR. Light pollution was minimal from outside sources, which really helped. For the convenience of watching a movie on the big screen while being able camp out as you please, as well as the excellent price, it's an experience no one should pass up.

I love going to the movies. I try to take my grandbabies at least when there is a kid friendly movie on. But today we went in to see a matinee and spent a pretty penny. With 1 adult and 2 children along with large popcorn and large drink and 2 small sodas, we spend $41.00 (thats with a $5.00 loyalty coupon)I checked the online prices and was overcharged but was told by the staff that the prices had changed. I think it will be a while before we go back.

I love going to the movies, but I have had issues with my joints and muscles for 20 years. It would be great if the seats were a little more comfortable. Also, the prices for snacks has gotten unbelievably high over the years. I know I'm not supposed to, but I bring my own candy.

Gotta be honest went by several times today to pick up gift cards for kiddos for Valentine's. I assumed it would be closer to movie start time (first one at 3) so arrived at 2:20. Walked in lobby, no one there. Called out and man appeared indicating that it would be 10-15 minutes before someone there to help me and he'd left the door open for someone that was doing repair work. I recommend that you all put something on door that says when lobby opens (ie doors open 30 minutes prior to first show) or at least something on the answering machine. I really thought it was inconsiderate for person to just not accommodate given it was only 10 minutes AND the door was open.

They put in new seats that recline and it is so comfortable! The thing they can improve on is service. We waited in line for about 10 minutes, during a weekday afternoon. There were 5 employees working, only 2 on register and 2 getting popcorn and drinks. The 5th person was standing around talking, getting in the way of the other employees working, and not helping. The line was from the register to almost the door.

The theater itself is wonderful! It is clean, updated, and offers quite a lot of movies without having to drive all the way to Columbia. HOWEVER The bar and the service of any alcoholic drinks leaves a lot to be desired. When ordering a drink for myself and my fiance the people serving the drinks were overworked and certainly undertrained for what they were doing. The drinks came out horrible and were priced exorbitantly more than what I would have ever assumed. I do not at all suggest getting an alcoholic drink, but if I was not including that fact then this theater would get a full five stars!

Best place within 100 miles to see a movie! Amazingly comfortable reclining seats with plenty of leg room. Picture quality and sound are the best you can get short of IMAX. Service is outstanding. They were out of the "secret" popcorn salt and instead of saying sorry, they found some and made a shaker on the spot! 5 stars

It has been recently remodeled as of late 2018. More action on your part when it comes to paying. They do pay online, walk-ins, and gift cards still work. You have the option to pick a seat before you get your ticket, some seats add more to your cost, rows are lettered and seats are numbered. Seats are probably the best thing out of this remodel, the are cushioned all around, and recline with the push of a button. There is also a bar, and alcohol may be bought and brought to drink while watching the movie. Please be responsible and respectful, or you'll ruin the experience for others. No more arcade games, you have the bar to thank for that. It feels like the lighting is dim or just lacking, but still gives off a good vibe. I have to say it again, the seats are just great, maybe too good as you might fall asleep in them.

I've been a patron of B&B Theatres for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately the seating has been increasingly uncomfortable due to use and is bad enough to make it difficult to enjoy the show. Other B&B locations I've visited, Chillicothe, and Fulton are both far superior in comparison in regards to seating comfort. Please address these seats so I can enjoy movies at your Moberly location again!
