It was a small venue with more of a bar feel. The lights from the stage were blinding and there weren't many options for drinks other than alcohol. It is located by a hub of restaurants and other bars, though, so it was fun exploring around it. It definitely had a bustling night life.

Cool little venue. Love the lights in the alley... Park on street -paid parking meters. Very few seats. Sound system was lacking. Not sure if it was the venue or the operator. No coffee, cocoa or warm drinks. Only booze. No food or snacks. Good restroom facilities. Awesome concert! ✌️❤️

Fantastic venue. It's a perfect middle ground between the intimate bars and large stages of the University. Oxford had both ends in spades before The Lyric opened but now ranges the full spectrum of music/event venue. The staff is experienced, professional, and friendly from a customer AND crew standpoint. They are capable of hosting a wide variety of events- I've been to concerts, live radio shows, wedding receptions, film festival screenings, Greek parties, and other events there that I can't recall. It's a versatile space with a flexible management and an accommodating staff that will likely fit your needs and exceed your expectations!

Very nice, clean venue. The shows typically start on time here (yes, actually on time). Make sure to get here early. The bar is insanely expensive so I recommend pregaming.

Attended a wedding reception at the Lyric. It was a lovely venue. Has a large stage for a band and plenty of space for tables and space for a dance floor. Large bar space on each side. Conveniently located off the square and walking distance to several churches.

The lyric gets great music and shows. It's a nice size--not too big me not too small, so it still seems intimate. But they are still only frisking men upon entry. Inconsistent and sexist security enforcement. Other genders besides male could be security threats.
