This Movie Theater belongs to the category of Movie theater.
Pretty nice movie house, nothing fancy. The problem is their items at the concession stand are outrageous! We know most movie houses are high, but this one is higher than the others around.
Theater had about 20 seats blocked off because of what looks like a leaky roof, poor sound system and 30 minutes of previews. Don't think I'll be coming back here any time soon.
Love the stadium like seats.
Saw the meg, movie not that good but theater is fine
Friendly service. Comfortable seating
Stating to feel like at Jackson didn't feel secure n no fun at all
Theater smelled like it had been urinated in and left for years. The smell was burning my nose badly.
Warm friendly staff Feeling Safe Bathrooms usually clean
Convenient area, close parking, and friendly staff. Popcorn tasted slightly stale and the theaters were a little dated, but overall fairly enjoyable.
I normally go here all the time especially Tuesday's and Sunday's but last night my girlfriend and I were sitting on the top row in auditorium 6 and near thw end of the movie we heard something moving behind us low and behold it was a mouse running behind us we went and told management about the little guy although he helped his body language and face implied that we were making the whole thing up he did give us readmission passes but it wasn't about getting anything free it was about letting them know that they had critters in the theater I honestly don't even want the passes because I won't be back highly disappointed
Nice place, still have all their seats. Add your own butter to popcorn. People we friendly.
Concessions high, usually the only patron in a movie last 3 or 4 times. Infriendly staff.
Decent inexpensive movie theater. One of the very few places to go to the movies. Movies are current. Standing in line at the concession stand is tiresome. They need more than one area.
It was clean with comfortable stadium seating.
Good screens but has a bad odor in the sitting area
Older theater but updated. Good matinee prices. Good weeknight specials. Floors are sticky sometimes. Restrooms are usually clean. Dark parking lot at night, needs better lighting. Bulbs are out a lot of the time.
Clean and friendly service
The customer service was good.
Its a friendly environment and its clean but they just need better seats
Could use a little upgrade
This places smells so bad! You sit in mold and mildew. Absolutely terrible! They have needed to upgrade for a while but have not, and now is unbearable. Go to Madison or Pearl instead.
I love this theater, we go all the time and have enjoyed using and getting our rewards, the guys and girls behind the counter are the most friendly we have met and we love love love the popcorn, gonna miss it when we move away..i have always received top notch service!!!!!, Thank you management for letting me come in just to buy popcorn all the time, while im waiting for new releases to come out
Better than UA 14 @ Northpark
I watched Avengers: endgame at Tinseltown in Pearl opening night and had a great time with awesome picture & sound and food that was delivered quickly. I wanted to see it a 2nd time for the dialogue I missed from people yelling and clapping, so I tried this place out on a Tuesday night. I can't give any of the same positives here. Food area was very dirty and it took 20 minutes to get nachos and the line was small. It was also more expensive for less, and they were out of Coke. Coke? Like, the thing that advertisements from your own location push over everything? Okay. I don't think they were, just lazy like most of the staff seemed to be, down to an employee and manager both just putting ice in the buckets instead of serving customers so they can get to their movie. This is a day light early weekday crowd. Pretty small. Not hectic. Just poorly managed staff. Aand then the movie? Well, missed the opening act for aformentioned reasons. Then the sound seemed to not be fully cut on or the volume was too low. Either way, there were only center channel sounds I was able to hear. No surround or bass to speak of. Like subpar to my at home budget set-up. Really just a poor showing all around and I'll be sure to go out of my way to avoid seeing any movies here. I'd recommend Madison or Pearl. Only reason I'd go here is if the movie has been out a while, there's a chance you'll be the only person at your viewing.
Seats could use updating like the ones at cinemark.
The only one I go to love this movie theater great staff, and perfect volume of movie.
Reclining seating, airy building, fully staffed, and most importantly, we have a movie theater in the neighborhood, while many are closing down..
Wonderful theatre!
I a great time. Clean and very nice place.
Great management here!!!!!! although kinda small it has an intimacy about that very welcoming !!!!!! Food is very reasonable and delicious staff is professional friendly courteous and efficient !!!!!!i will be back
Clean, quiet. Polite and courteous staff.
Movie was awesome
Okay this is one of the smaller theatres in the area. Hasn't been updated in a while. Staff is nice and pretty cool, laid back. Expect to wait a long time to get snacks....like ridiculously long during high traffic periods
If you just want to go watch a movie their pricing is good and they have the regal club which has special lower priced concessions. We went to the Lion King recently and the sound was too quiet. Definitely not the HD quality you usually get at XD theatres. Seating is not reserved but you can almost always get there early and get a ticket. That is the biggest advantage, but it needs a lot of updates and lacks the features or modern movie theaters.
The theater's customer service was decent. When you walk into the establishment it's unclear as to where you scan your bar code before entrance into the theater room where your movie is showing. I purchased my tickets prior to getting there to prevent waiting in the line and the seats are first come first serve basis so if you arrive at the theater late or very close to your movie showing time then you're not guaranteed a good seat. Unfortunately, I had to sit on the second row gettin the theater screen and I cannot stand that so if you visit this theater these are some of the things to ponder/consider.
Still my favorite theater in the metro area. It's a classic cinema joint with superior prices to competition. Also right next to great dining and a stones throw from flowood shopping.
Always a great experience at this location. Great staff and fresh concessions.
I always enjoy going here even if they don't have all the fancy new seating, but it is always clean. The only problem I had was the coke I had was almost flat and not enough syrup.
Clean. No frills. No outrageous lines. Nothing negative at all.
My favorite theater in the Jackson surrounding area. Though it is an older theater it is kept clean, the price is nice, and staff is friendly. I love the coke icees!
It's on ok theatre. Nothing fancy. I do like Tuesday nights. It's half off. The seats and sound system needs and update tho. I wish they would keep other viewers more quite.
Great theather redeem points!!!
Nice place to watch movies. Inexpensive with courteous and professional staff. Sundays and Tuesday shows are 6 dollars per person. The food counter is limited but okay. Wish the food and drink prices were a tad lower. It's a 2 minute drive from my home, I go there often. Usually not sold out but Christmas can be really busy.
They don't have the lounge chairs but they're still a nice theater
Get a paint job. The exterior looks ancient and the interior isn't much better. A standard experience for a market that no longer rewards just "standard." Go to Madison or Pearl for a far superior experience.
Nice theater. Concessions was a little slow
Sorround Sound not on
I enjoyed the movie, but the refreshments cost more than the price to get in
Nice and detailed
Needs a remodel, ticket personnel were friendly but the ticket taker was rude. Seats in the the theater need replacing. Screen and sound system seemed fine.
Nice and decent, clean and staffed and wonderful place.
Recliner seats is the best.
Horrible and old food everywhere. Horrible smell
Clean and simple theater. All the workers were very nice. I will be going again.
Had to ask the ticket taker to take my tickets
Very nice
We enjoyed the movie and the clean environment
Safer than the Mall location. Nothing special (no IMAX or large screen formats, no alcohol, no food) but a good standard theater. Clean, no complaints.
Your basic run of the mill theater. Was nice and clean with friendly staff.
No sound in original auditorium had to move , movie started 45 minutes late
A very nice place to take the family
It was packed. The surround sound was loud and the movie was great. The seating needs to be updated.
I enjoy the theatre. It is kept clean and the employees are nice. It's not quite as high of quality as Malco in Madison but it is roughly the same price.
Went to see Avengers Endgame and they handled all the seating and everything very well even though it was packed! The seats aren't the best, but they're not bad.
I love coming here. It's small, but comfortable. The seats recline, and there's always plenty of seating available. They're always keeping their movie selection rotated, so you never have to worry about the selection stagnating. The tickets are a bit pricey, but tickets always are. Just go to the earlier, matinee showing and the ticket prices are a little cheaper.
We bought our tickets online early for Aquaman to avoid the long lines in the freezing cold. There was only one teller outside, so I held my phone up with the ticket we bought on the screen to get his attention he looked up at me and kept attending to the folks right in front of him. I only wanted to ask him where I needed to go to retrieve my tickets. I had to wait in the long line just for him to say "oh they take it directly inside..."
Enjoyed the movie, snacks a bit pricey.
Saw Mama Mia, it was great! Theatre clean.
I like it.
Clean. Great popcorn.
The movie complex we choose first. Discounts on Tuesday and Sunday. Closest to Jackson. Considerate management and employees. Not ultra fancy but no problems with screenings.
It was nice
Some facilities a little dirty. Friendly staff, great experience
This is a smaller theater. It has nice seating and specials on Tuesdays.
It's a nice one.
Bohemian Rhapsody was amazing!
I would rather drive to Tuscaloosa, Hattiesburg or Jackson. The service compared to the theatres in the towns mentioned are light years ahead of the customer service you receive in meridian. If you want to watch a movie on a big screen and don't wish to travel go to this theatre. The picture and sound is ok. If you want exceptional customer service and a premium seating go somewhere else. I would rather spend extra money for gas to go to a business that acts like the appreciate me coming .
I love this movie theater better than the one in Northpark. The bathrooms are cleaner, friendly staff, the isn't sticky. Overall I always prefer to go here instead of the Northpark theater.
Definitely showing its age. Needs remodeling and better housekeeping.
It was cool but what would it hurt to turn this place into something like a Studio Movie Grill.
I enjoyed a good movie a little pricey but I know the movie theater is higher than it used to be in the food is gotten a little hi also but the overall experience is good.
I never have problems at this theater and the guys and gals who work there are always SO nice. Way to go management on hiring awesome people.
Nice and quite good price on snacks clean good environment
One couple talk the entire movie
It was fine. Enjoy the movie that I went to, which was the girl in the spider's web.
Great movie theater here in the Flowood location. Conveniently located next to Mugshots, this is a great spot to catch the latest movies
Clean safe atmosphere
Good sound and somewhat clean . Needs better brands in snacks and food . I give the snacks bar a thumbs down
Closed down.
Great theater! Staff was amazing
And service. I would not go back. I don't shop places that give bad service. I'll be going back to pearl. Thanks.
The most uncomfortable situation I have ever been in. Sits where so uncomfortable. Listened to a couple discuss the movie from beginning to end, literally! Another couple propped their feet up on the gaurd rail behind our heads like they where in bed. Awful. The only thing that got me through was the movie.
Prices at the concessions are pretty high but always polite, clean bathrooms, and clean theater rooms. I love going to this theater.
My favorite Movie house we went to see Antman and Wasp girl today
Safe, cheaper than the "other" one near by and the popcorn is WAY better and closer to Target. This is a nice theater to be serious. Enjoy!
Nice movie but not enough legroom.
This is my favorite theater that I've been to in my entire film-going experience. I always catch the latest releases here thanks to their 7PM advance screenings. The staff is friendly and the concessions are delicious.
Very clean theater awesome prices great experience
Older, smaller theater. I sometimes come here because it's just more convenient for me. They have Tuesday and Sunday specials all day. Popcorn and butter here doesn't taste as good as malcos in Madison, but their slurpee is actually the jumbo soda size slurpee. Malcos slurpee is like a small 12oz and is pricey, definitely not worth it. They so don't have a good surround sound here.
need a exterior clean up and paint but i love this place.
Love this theater, I can also put as much butter on my popcorn, it's self serve, the manager is very friendly!
Good theater. Prices on snacks are what you would expect.
Very nice facility and great inside service! Terrible over-the-phone communication skills... The man I spoke with gave me a horrible attitude just moments ago in response to a simple question about showtimes. Sad.
Really no complaints. Best seats in town! Love how y'all have managed to keep up with some of the larger competitors & that may be the only suggestion.... don't get to comfy because there's a lot of talk about theaters becoming more modern. Aka: recliner seating I see in other metro areas
Very friendly staff. But the theater itself really needs some updating.
I saw Small Foot with my sister cuz and my niece.
The theater itself was fine. We were seeing a major release (Finding Dory) and it was in a small theater with a tiny screen. Not sure if all of their screens are small but I would expect for a movie like that, the best would be used.
Tickets, food, and drinks are cheaper than Cinemark but Cinemark has more comfortable seats.
My favorite theater, not too loud or crowded, good rewards and concession specials.
The bathroom was clean and a friendly staff
New seats are the best. I really enjoy going to the movies now.
It's a great cheap option compared to bigger theaters. Unless you're a movie critic the screen quality won't bother you at all.
Had a very nice movie date night with my wife tonight!!
Nice theater.
Great movie, comfortable seating, and great online ticketing process and scan in flow. Love using points at the concessions (the most expensive concession stand I've ever seen!)
My preferred theatre in Jackson. They have friendly service with 10 screens.
Staff is unhelpful. Apathetic lethargic. Concession staff isn't that bad.
Good service and variety of movies. But popcorn has gold in it That's y it cost so much.lol
Clean but expensive
Staff is friendly enough but the facility is I'm bad need of a facelift. Overpriced tickets and concessions as well
Comfortable seats. The place is a traditional movie theater. Nothing too fancy. Something that was concerning...after the movir ended the lights never brightened. It caused people to fumble their way out through one exit amongst the crowd. That can't be safe.
great movie theater and the theater is in a great location!
Clean, friendly service, and great surround sound
Good theater but is in a major facelift or remodel. I am not sure how it will compete with updated and newer theaters much longer especially when they are charging more or the same as the remodeled theaters.
My husband and I love this movie theatre!! This is really the only theatre we visit when we want to watch the latest movie or whenever we're in the mood to see a movie! We have the Regals Cinema card and it always come in handy! We have received free drinks, popcorn, and movie tickets from the points we accrue from our Regals card.
It was nice and comfortable!
Great food, slow service. Slippery sticky floors every location.
Went here to see "Little" and was told they no longer do $5.00 Sunday movies its only on Tuesday now.
Food was pretty good but Auditorium 8 smelled like urine. The carpet and/or seats need to be cleaned.
I'm sorry I ment 5star... i have no complaints
Very enjoyable
Really enjoyed it
I love the "butter your own popcorn" stands.
So, went here earlier to see Dunkirk at 7:10pm. Drove 20 minutes to get there. I get there at 7:00, and they say "oh sorry we only had two showings today." I pointed out that the website and internet as well as the sign above the ticket window said there were showings for 7:10 and 9:55. "Nope, there were only 2 showings today, last one was at 4." I re-pointed out that everything everywhere is advertising more showings, and the kid at the window goes "look, I'll take it down sometime okay." I left, pretty confused and sorta mad. Mad enough to leave a review on google since you can't call the theater directly. I'm going to Malco in Madison, probably permanently.
A good small theater to catch the odd movie. I have never been during peak times or popular blockbusters but I would imagine it’s small size would make it very uncomfortable for large crowds.
Love the fact I dont have to buy tickets way ahead of time like I do now at the other theater that has the big seats and only a few per theater.
Friendly people. Older, but good, theater
Its movie theater but the popcorn and drinks have gold in them thats y thet cost so much. Lol
Nice clean safe environment
They need to enforce the rule on cell phone use. I had to sit and listen to screaming and people calling and texting the entire movie.
Decent theater. Average screen size. Good sound. Kept clean with reasonable clientele. This is the best regal in the area.
Great atmosphere. Great area. Food was good to. Great family place
It smelled stale and like someone had vomited in there. The place needs to be cleaned thoroughly and deodorized!!!
Okay movie theater. I will say that I believe this movie theaters pricing on snacks and beverages runs just a tad bit higher than the rest, and the restrooms seemed small seeing as how there was a ridiculously long line to use the restrooms.
Went here for a mystery shop assignment. It was OK. The popcorn was stale and irritated my throat along with have me heartburn. I have never had that happen, ever. The drinks are too high, $5????? I can buy 3 2liter Cokes for that price. Call me cheap, I don't care that is a waste of money.
This was our first time at this theater, and I would recommend it. At first, based on the exterior, I had my doubts. But once you get inside, the atmosphere is great, people are helpful, and things are clean. Like all theaters, concessions are expensive. The seating was comfortable & roomy. Seating was elevated so that you are not looking past someone's head. Picture was clear. I would definitely return if in the area.
Small, quiet, and clean. None of the fancy seating options offered by cinemark amf malco, but still my favorite theater in the Jackson area.
We were the only ones in the little theater and I asked that the volume be turned down for me and my Mom. The worker did not change anything after telling me he would check on it. Poor Mom was suffering through the noise, until finally we left. He did give me 2 passes when I enquired about a refund. I'll go back another time.
What can I say about the staff at PARKWAY PLACE. They were very attentive to detail of people whether it be a bottle water being ordered. We will be back soon.
I love this theater. The staff is nice. It's just my favorite and I like I can earn free movies and snacks. The only thing I would change is I wish that the seats would get cleaned every once in a while. They are comfortable but you can tell they don't really get any attention.
Just love the customer service and it's always clean when I go..
Great place. The inside of the building was very well kept and clean. They didnt have the movie i wanted to see showing but it was still really nice facilities.
Great place to catch a movie. The earlier in the day you go the better chance you can have the theater to yourself. It gets more busy at night. Sundays and Tuesday's are $5 all day.
Great experience every time
Nice place that is not really crowded. A place for adults to go see a movie without all the extra distractions.
I enjoyed it a great clean movie theater
It was nice. Kinda small; concessions were expensive, but aren't they always.
Good place to see movies and eat popcorn
