I do not have an AMC Membership. With that being said I would save your money from this place and go to MJR or Emagine theatre in Macomb. I intended on reserving tickets for The Joker Thursday October 5th, but mistakenly purchased tickets on the wrong day October 3rd totaling $31.76. Realizing it right away I submitted a refund request but noticed a refund for only $26.98 which is the price for 2 adults. Reserving seats ahead of schedule costs a convenience fee of $4.78 . I called customer service and spoke with Honney asking about the refund of the Convenience Fee. He said due to AMC policy with me not being a Member I am out of luck. I kindly questioned and argued that it would be one thing the day of, or even minutes before the showing but to not receive my entire refund DAYS in advance before the showing is absolutely appalling. He continued antagonizing me about not being a member. I then asked "could you at least send me a coupon for a popcorn or something?" because I also ordered the right tickets for October 5th. I understand it's just $5 but this is money I worked hard for, and wished to have used wisely due to how expensive movie charges are instead of AMC practically stealing money from me out of my pocket. This AMC experience will be my last and I will surely spread the word to any movie lover and goer I come across about this despicable policy AMC holds in effect. Truly disappointed in this company's policy and the way they handled servicing me. The customer always comes first and the main priority is making sure that customer is happy.... This is definitely not the case for AMC. FOOD FOR THOUGHT guys, view movies wisely elsewhere.

This theater needs a serious update. They still have the old-school theater seating: standard seats packed together. After going to theaters (Emagine & MJR), with large comfortable RECLINING seats, this theater is very disappointing. They do offer reserved seats and a wide (expensive) food selection. Staff was very friendly. They offer the option to buy in advance , on line, but charge a convenience fee of over $3 per ticket.

Was ok. Saw Shazam there and before the movie even started my pop tipped out of the cupholder because they're too small for the larger drinks. So had to sit with my feet getting stickier by the minute. Plus the seats were not very comfortable just for an average length movie. Everything was in good shape, just have been to nicer theaters that have same or better pricing

Love the app and quick access, but in the theater I could hear all the sound from neighboring screens during the quiet parts of our movie, just a little distracting. No reclining seats in our theater. Great value on Tuesdays though.

Bought tickets on AMC app, was charged a convince fee lol. Both MJR and emagine to not charge fees to buy their tickets. Also tried to call them too see what type of seating they have, but they do not answer phones. I will just go and find out. I am sure they haven’t switched to reclining seats yet. My guess, they will be out of business in a few years. Don’t waste your time with them, I will not go there again.

Sold us 3 tickets to a show...bought a big popcorn... Walked into the show & there were no seats available!! Even though they did refund our tickets & popcorn...we had to come back to a later show. No reclining seats either... Maybe they should consider on updating their computer systems for tickets & seats availability....and also getting recliners! *But the movie we went back for, was well worth it!!

Came with a friend to see gone with the wind. Don't think I'm coming back anytime soon. The seats are old and uncomfortable yet the prices are the same as imagine with the comfortable recliners. They would sure have been nice for this 4 hour movie. We had chicken strips, they were yummy, but omg!! Again with the price gouging!!!!!

Every single employee was rude and made short unnecessary comments, concessions closed before we were even able to get food or drinks. Seats are EXTREMELY uncomfortable, you might as well sit in a roller coaster seat for 2 hours. Do not recommend what so ever.

They had poor customer service, don't offer a regular combo or couples combo. Also if they have assigned seating the don't follow through the seating chart. Also with a theater this big they should have more staff throughout the theater and have more than just one concession stand open. Definitely will not be going back worst experience ever.

Every time we go to this theater the pop machines are all out of multiple flavors. Today, I spoke with the so called manager on duty and he was pretty much useless and make up excuses. Now if the pop only costed a buck or 2 I would not complain but to charge what they do for pop and then not have the machines filled is ridiculous, especially since we went to the 1st show of the day and everything should be fresh and ready for the day! Managers should be able to help a customer complaint and not act like they could care less! I will definitely be seeing my movies elsewhere from now on!

The place is good. the increasing a list subscribers causing ppl who subscribed to it wait for longer than the non subscribers. The A list is not premier anymore. When we were in the queue , the a list had 6 ppl where as regular line has 2 ppl. And the number of kisok for orders were less for A list.

Best AMC in Metro Detroit! Possibly the best theatre in the area. Always clean, theater wise. Fresh popcorn, good screens and sound. All the movies. Fantastic movie experiences await you at this location! A++

I usually only use the Dolby cinema. Its my favorite. But even the standard cinemas are comfortable and great. The arm rests go up! I wish there was more closer parking but thats not their fault. I buy my tickets from a 3rd party website and just get my phone zapped then go sit down.

This is a decent movie theater with many screens and the tickets are reasonably priced. They have many movie selections throughout the day, and the early bird movies are inexpensive. Overall, the theaters and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The seats are OK, but are due for an upgrade.

I really enjoyed this theater. It's absolutely massive and has pretty comfy seats. Decently fast WiFi for A-list members. My complaints are limited to the things almost every theater suffers from: people talking loudly and ridiculous prices on concessions. I'd probably get a popcorn and soda more often if it wasn't so absurdly overpriced without vouchers bought on eBay.

Great movie theater all around. The staff is fantastic, and there's so many theaters you'll always have loads of options to choose from! People will complain about concession prices, but that's just how theaters are, you're paying for the experience!

Good theater, tons of screens. If you want to see something thats already "left theaters" there's a good chance that it's still playing here. The seating is a bit older than some of the other theaters (no couples seating) but still comfortable. The theater also has special showings and sporting events that they show pretty regularly on the weekends.

It was 10 minutes to six. We stood in the Stub Members waiting line while 4 regular customers were being served. When we were called up to the cashier, we told the cashier we needed two tickets for John Wick 3. The cashier asked do you want 5:30 showing or 6 o'clock showing, I thought that was a no brainier. The movie was showing in theater 15, the seats were very narrow and uncomfortable. As Stub Members we were not treated as loyalty members.

Nice theater. Not as luxurious of an impression as the Emagine theater I went to last week, but that may be a good thing, too. It's an everyman's theater. Go early for a good ticket price. Later means more expensive. It's right next to a Walmart with a Subway restaurant embedded in it (the Walmart, I mean) so you can walk or drive only a short distance to lunch after your film's showing.

What was once a wonderful respite is now dirty and broken. Instead of spending money to computirize seat selection, they should have merely repaired the broken seat and cupholders. Emagine is now a much better movie experience.

Seemed clean but couldn't get a good hand on the seating or ventilation system. Thry should tell you if you'll be in a small auditorium or large before you purchase. Why pay for a screen that may not be much larger than home?

nice seats starting to get too pricy though like 10.50-11$ for an adult ticket they added a bar like 2-3 years ago if you dont mind paying like 9-11$ for a drink ugh i suggest you just sneak in a few little airplane bottles if youre gonna drink same goes with the concession stand youre better off bringing your own snacks in service is alright just a bunch of kids running the place but beats MJR on everything except price

It's an older theatre so it feels as though it's missing some of the new, fancy tech. The staff was very friendly and the screen was of okay size. The biggest bummer was that you could clearly hear the movie next to us during the quieter parts of our money, which at times took away from the experience.

Coming here on a Saturday night, my daughter and I couldn't help but notice how empty the theater was. Im sure the outrageous concession prices have nothing to do with it. 20 dollars for a bottle of water, small popcorn and small icee. Ridiculous. Or im sure the tiny seats or overall grime of the theater has nothing to do with it either. This theater used to be good. Now it's just awful. Complete with a security guard just to really give it that ghetto feel.

For Pete's sake will you guys PLEASE update your seats? It's like sitting on a folding chair with a half inch of padding. Everything else is fantastic but seriously the seats are the one glaring letdown. Everywhere else had recliners that are soft an cushy , lets get with the times.

I forgot my id and was dropped off at the theatre and so I wasn’t able to get into the movie that was rated R so i tried to go to another movie so they said i could go to one starting in 5 minutes at 8:30 when the movie had started at 8:00, so I asked for a refund and some manager named sean gave me so much attitude I felt appalled to be in the theater, will not be returning I have never been treated poorer in a movie theatre and the comments that were made towards me made me feel like a disgrace. if I could rate my experience lower than one star I would, no employee should make a costumer feel like that after a mistake and make assumptions, I am HIGHLY disappointed

I used to go to this theatre as a teen and haven't been here in years. They were playing a movie that the smaller closer theater's were no longer playing and we figured we would go and check it out. AMC is a very large and more impressive than I remember! Very decent ticket prices that we reserved with the atom app. Staff was very friendly and professional as well as helpful. We got a regular popcorn with butter that was delicious and a flashback to the small theatre as a kid. A visit to the newer bar was a nice addition with well prepared mixed drinks and cold beer. The size was smaller than that of other theaters bars but still flavored well with strong taste and good flavor. The theater was smaller and understandably for the less than popular movie. The seats were comfortable but lacking upgraded seat options that are standard In other theaters. The movie, sound quality and all around experience was excellent. Despite the further distance and seats we will not second guess coming back again for future visits.

Who at AMC implemented selection of seats when purchasing? Wow the line was too long waited over 12 minutes. Then once you get in and try to by drinks and candy you have to wait in ridiculous lines again. Movie started by the time we got in. What a joke.

Good theater. Some of the smaller auditoriums with smaller screens need maintenance. There's visible damage on the screen and the quality of the viewing experience is definitely hindered by it.

First, let's start with the pros: Huge theater, ample parking, convenient location, lots of options for movies and for times. Because of the large facility, there are sometimes options for vintage movies, or local showings for out-of-town special events. Now the cons: Theater is a bit run down, bathrooms can be dirty, there are a lot of windows to buy tickets, but even on a crowded Saturday night, there are only one or two windows open, so if there is a line, you could be waiting for a long time (and no, I don't want to pay a service fee to buy ticket at a self-service option), sometimes popcorn can be chewy and stale, even if they are popping it up in the background, you'll get the old stuff, some seats are broken, many are dirty. Staff can be rude and/or indifferent to questions or inquires. Not my first choice when making a decision for a movie night.

AMC Forum 30 staff thinks DOLBY and IMAX are only theaters present. No DIgital theaters will have A.C turned ON, Every time I am into Digital Theater in this place need to call staff to put on A.C.

Very disappointed with the cleanliness of this place. I would have went to MJR in Chesterfield if I would have known how trashy and understaffed the place is. Cleanup the butter station for the popcorn. I've taken pictures and posted here.

The employees are amazing. Great customer service. Had an issue that was my fault and the (assumed) manager took care of it without a hassle or a bad attitude. In addition, he stayed calm while super busy and simultaneously helped a lady figure out she went to the wrong theater auditorium. Also, the Dolby Cinema screen and chairs are great. Really hard to go back to non recliners afterwards.

Huge place, clean ticket prices are great for matinees. There are a lot of fathom events there. Make sure to bring a car payment just to cover a popcorn pop and pizza. Seats are comfy. Haven't had a bad experience there in the entire time it's been open. Nice clean bathrooms. The theaters are huge the sound is great

Most of the soda machines were either out of many of the drinks, or just plain out of order. The condiment station was covered in popcorn. The auditorium for the movie was clean, and the sound and picture were very good. The restroom was messy, but clean enough to use.

Went to see The Cure Anniversary Concert. No sound, at least not sound like a concert film should be. You couldn’t even hear Robert Smith when he was speaking. Staff refunded our money but it just wasn’t the experience we were hoping for after buying tickets in advance and finding out later that there are still old school theater seats as well as old school sound.

I have only visited here once and it was a great experience. There is a big parking structure for all cars. The theater is easy to find from the road too and is in a great location. The staff was also super friendly.

For the most part the theater is relatively nice but the seats (where you'll be spending most of your visit) are absolutely disgusting. Covered in stains, worn out fabric, and downright uncomfortable.

I only came here to see Avengers: End game. The seats were cramped and sticky. Would only return for free movies or if I cant get tickets at my favorite theater. Would not recommend if you are used to/like clean reclining seats.

I HATE THIS THEATER! So poorly run, technology never works and now their garbage website took my credit card info and locked up. I don’t know if they charged my card or not. Then I get to the theater and the employees don’t know anything either. So I bought tickets from the theater and the were $4 cheaper than the AMC site. No I did not use fandango or any other 3rd party ticket site, I used AMC site. Then I go to the concession stand and they are out of what I wanted! That was the last straw, never coming to this theater again.

My friends and I frequent this establishment quite often. I often go to the bar, where the bartender, an incredibly pleasant fellow, supplies me with drinks. With those drinks, I enjoy the films that are presents on a large screen. I tip my hat to that bartender. There over 5 theaters here, and plenty of bathrooms. Very few, if any, wild animals prowl the area.

I and a few friends recently visited this facility to watch Avengers: Endgame. We decided to watch at the 12:30 am showing because we thought it would be a unique experience not often provided with other movies. In making this decision we anticipated having the same overall positive experience of visiting AMC as if we had attended at any other time given we were paying the same rate for our tickets. This however was not at all the case. 2 of us in our group arrived a bit late and found the doors to the building had been locked. A team member was standing inside about 150 feet from the door we were at but did not make an effort to come to the door - so instead a friend of ours who was already in the theatre had to let us in. After getting inside, we went in to the theatre to find our seats and get settled prior to getting concessions. After a few minutes, but prior to the opening title coming on screen, I exit the theatre for the concession area, and was told that concessions were closed and that I wouldn't be able to purchase any sort of snacks or refreshments for the 3 hour movie that I had come to see. To me, like many others, when visiting a movie theatre it is the refreshments that make the experience - and so after my poor customer service experience and realization that this AMC location does not care about the experience of it's movie goers I return to the theater frazzled and distraught that I should not have purchased tickets for this showing nor this particular theatre. Later, as the movie ends and I, my friends, and the other movie goers exit the theatre we find an almost fully darkened lobby, as well as the entrance/exit and parking lot with no lighting. This to me seemed like a major safety and security hazard as well as liability. I submitted this exact complaint through the online platform and also received no reply from the company - further demonstrating the lack of commitment to it's patrons.

Theater is seriously outdated. The walls are peeling, the seat are stained, small and you’re basically sitting on top of the person next to you, or being couched on and kicked by the person behind you. Definitely not returning to this theater again.

I have been going to this complex since it opened, and I love how they have improved the overall movie going experience for everyone! The kids love the selection of soda and free refills, and I love the fact I can grab an ice cold IPA while watching a flick! Nice job, AMC

I'm usually an MJR theater person because of where I live, but due to circumstances today we decided to watch Joker at the AMC Forum 30. Probably the last time I'll go there. First of all, WAY overpriced. $9.50 for a 4pm movie ($7.50 at MJR), then they have the nerve to charge almost a $2 "convenience" fee per ticket to buy online (none of this BS at MJR). Seems to me that is making things more convenient for them! So now I'm up to $23 just for the tickets to see an afternoon show. Concessions were okay, although again, more overpriced than MJR. Then we get into the theater to find they're just the original seats. No reclining and you couldn't even lean back a little, with backs on the chairs that were too straight. Quite uncomfortable and disappointing for the price. Last thing, they showed almost a half hour of previews and the movie didn't start until 4:30. I'll do my best to stick to MJR.

Clean and right near home. Good place to enjoy a movie. I buy my ticket off there app. It makes it easy to catch a movie without the hassle a deciding in the theater and waiting in line.

I'm have not been to this theater in about 10 years... And it hasn't changed at all, which is pretty sad. Our theater smelled like pee and it is probably the only theater around that does not have reclining seats! Yet still costs more than MJR or Emagine. Very dissapointing and won't be back.

I just very recently went to see the movie Ready or Not. No problems occured while I purchased my tickets or concessions. I went to my theatre room, and found everything clean amd up-to-date when it comes to the screen or volume of the movie. The floors were also recently cleaned. When I left, I was overall very pleasant with my experience at that theatre. Also, the movie was awesome ツ

Very disappointing that the theatre didn't have doors for handicap,to get in I had to go through 2 doors with a wheelchair. I asked the girl if I missed them she said there weren't any. What made me really mad was when we left there were 4 people that work there at the ticket counter talking and not one of them offered us any help with the doors!! Also 18$ for a large popcorn and pop is pretty steep.

I came to see Bohemian Rhapsody and had a great time! The theater itself and the restrooms were really clean. The food was also hot fresh including the popcorn. I also love that there are different options for the pretzel bites!! The employees were all very friendly and helpful as well. I had not been to this theater in a long time but now I definitely will be back.

Call first if you require/prefer reclining seats. When I looked online, it states, “Reclining seats”. Not all of the theaters have reclining seats. This should have been stated as some people are not able to sit in one position for extended periods, some have to extend their legs up, etc., yet, are still entitled to enjoy a movie when it states reclining seats. Very frustrating when, had I known this, I could have called to avoid this.

Theatre is well maintained for the most part. Staff is fine but there are no ushers and the seats were a bit crammed. The picture and the sound is great, though, and the popcorn is yummy. No blue icee, though.

Couldn't hear the movie i was watching half the time because the movie next to it was loud that i was hearing more from a different movie which made it very complicated to enjoy the 5 tickets i paid for... Even got up to go tell the manger about it she came poked her ear in for 2 secs and left did totally nothing about it I will never go back to Amc30

Great theater. Been coming for years. Staff is always friendly. Place is always clean. Prices are affordable. Never had any issues with sound or uncomfortable seating or anything to ruin the experience. One of my favorite things is that they have movies quite a bit longer than other theaters. One of my two go-to theaters and the reason I signed up for the amc rewards program they offer.

The theater was huge and relatively comfortable, but the cups we're so big that they didn't really fit into the cup holders in the seats, my husband even had to keep his drink on the floor, what an inconvenience for a few extra oz of soda. And he ended up knocking it over by accident when the movie was over.

1at experience at this location. Just moved to this area. Been to he AMC on John R Rd in Troy, 2 times. I wish that had a Dolby. I will be watching movies there from now on. Forum 30 was quite the disappointment. Slow service, and when a person asked about the premiere line not being called like normal, the manager held out for someone to take a premiere customer, and the lady that had been called next from the regular line had to go back to the line and seemed quite embarrassed. I interacted briefly with the manager again, with a couple questions. He seemed quite uninterested in stopping to answer a question and wanted to continue spot sweeping instead. Very rude. This is the first time I have ever taken time to review a theater, especially before even watching the movie. I felt so strongly about this negative experience I had to share, an hope AMC will consider its content.

Theatre was clean. Took over ten minutes to make a purchase at the concession stand. Only one person working the stand for general admission patrons. Four staff members helping a special engagement event. When I spoke to management. He simply said "I hear you", then walked away. I probably will not return. There are other theatres where my business is appreciated.

On August 29th at 7 pm I went in to see the release of Spider-man far from home Extended-Cut; the whole showing was going all good as planned because I intended to see spiderman again. But waiting for the end for the extended cuts for the movie... there was nothing. They put in the wrong film which made me kinda annoyed/mad. I am never going back to that theater.

This Amc theater was not the closest to my home, but had the movie my granddaughter wanted to see. Imagine my surprise and disappointment, after considerable travel, when i went in movie and the seats DID NOT RECLINE. I don't go to the $how often and for me your drawing card is reclining SEATS for heaven sakes.

I used to love coming here when I was younger and it was one of the new places, however my most recent visit gives me the impression that they are due for a refresh. Most local theaters currently are offering powered recliner seats, and they also have bars if you want a drink. I was happy that I was able to but tickets and pick seats online, but when I showed up I expected that the seats would be nicer.

Too bad they don't have reclining seats. Also a hassle for A-list to show ID when you purchase your ticket and then have to drag it out again once you get inside the lobby to show it to the ticket taker. At least they should let you know you will have to do this so you don't put your ID away!

Nice theater. Went to a matinee to kill a few hours. We were the only ones in the showing and the equipment malfunctioned. The manager comped the original tickets. Then told us to watch anything else we wanted. The place was clean and well maintained.

Very well organized and clean ambience all through the building. The concessions also have a wide variety of food choices. The restrooms were extremely clean and very well maintained. The seats are OK not he very best in terms of comfort and space on the armrest. The drinks holder doesn't hold the beverage cup that is provided for the drinks purchased at the theatres concession stand! Because of these couple of reasons, I may holding giving the 5th star!

Yesterday I went and saw a movie here but I accidentally left my jacket behind. This morning I drove over to the theater to see if they were open/had a lost and found. When I got there, I saw an employee walking in and I asked her if they had a lost and found in which she responded with yes, they do. I asked if she would be able to go look inside for my jacket real quick and her response was “are you going to pay me my hourly rate? If not, then come back at 12:30” The pure selfishness and lack of compassion is the reason I will never come back to this theater.

Went here to experience the Dolby Theater, WOW it is really cool, sound great, picture great, assigned seating for this theater, great. However one side note. Showed up for an Engame showing in this theater and there was a catastrophic failure. Bummer, after sitting through somewhere between 20-30 minutes of trailers no movie. I really like the experience but there is too much bluster and demonstration about what the the theater is supposed to be along with the trailers. Just too long. But they were nice when the failure happened, so there is that........

Well it's like a blast from the past. It's probably been about 20 years since I've been there and I swear, the theater is exactly the same. Only thing different is, you can assign your own seats (which ever theatre does now a days). I don't think anything's been updated. I guess if you want to go to a true 1990's authentic theater, AMC 30 would be the perfect place to go.

One of my favorite local theater, I'm there at least once a week. Their Dolby theater is amazing. I try to see whatever I can in that theater. Can't say enough positive about that. The downside is the other theaters have really uncomfortable seats, pretty outdated. Especially the Imax theater. If you're paying that much for a premium theater, the seats should be a little nicer. Also if the movie is not in the main 4 theaters, you have to go to the side wings, which are kinda far down the hall, no where near the concessions. It's clear at one point they did have concessions in each wing too, but they don't anymore. Just a bit annoying to have to run from one wing too the central area just to get a refill on your pop. Would be nice if they had pop machines in the wings.
