Awesome original 1957 drive-in. A must see if you are visiting Cape Cod!
Sentimental and fun I go just about every other week and it's an all around great exoerience
Awesome! Well maintained drive-in a d great concession. Friendly staff. This is a real treat if you are in the area.
Hasn't changed a bit....incredible part of cape cod history!!!!
Fun to watch movies here. Summer treat
Love the drive in !
Movie was wonderful, the snack bar was big, efficient and had many options. A fantastic experience all around.
A trip back in time!
Flea market us fun, drive in is great.
Wellfleet Drive-In is awesome. Where else.can you get two blockbuster movies for the price of one! Look forward to every opening season!
Dont ever leave us.
Another blast from the past, the entire parking lot is paved. They have a small bar area the faces the screen and a large consession stand. They hold flea markets there on certain days.
An amazing experience! Well run, nice and friendly staff! Great concession stand. It gets busy but they will get you through and get you what you need even if it isn't ready. Will definitely go back.
Always fun to watch a movie out in the open air. Kids have a blast with old fashioned playground.
We loved it!
It was amazing! Such a cute place and the price for tickets and food were astounding! If you haven't been her yet definitely check it out!!
Amazing place that brings back so many memories as a kid when my family brought me to a drive in. Saw two movies for 12 bucks. They have good food and snacks available. Was a wonderful experience. During the weekend they have a flee market that costs 2 bucks per car load to enter. Mostly cheap junk but some good gems. They also have a mini golf course attaches. I would recommend going.
Great drive in and summer location
Summer tradition !! Fun place
Amazing place for the family
Fun evening. Nice way to reminisce about going to the movies as a chikd.
So fun!! We went a little early in the season so we brought sweatshirts. I really wanted my grandson to have the drive in experience! Thank you so much.
Classic drive in experience at the Cape!
It's not something we have in England. My wife and young girls loved it . And my growing up in the US it brought back so many great memories
I go to the flea market when I get to the Cape. I never be disappointed at finding something I didn't need. Good selection of old and new items. Some of the people that have the older items will make a deal with you. Love the t-shirt guy. Have fun finding a bargain and get a good walk in.
Always Love this piece of Nostalgia!! $12. Per adult. Dogs are welcome. Still has original playground
Impressed that the picture quality was so good despite raining all nighr!
Pleasant first time experience
I miss the DRIVE INS in my hometown.
Never been to the movie part but they have a flee market set up during the day on the weekends. I've been going to this flee market every year when I visit the Cape since I was young. It's not as big anymore and some people are a little outrageous with their prices. There were booths that had really nice people and were nice enough to bring their prices down but most of them kept there expensive prices. They do have food and a playground. Nice place to just be able to do something but not as good and fun as it used to be.
Great place and awesome to see an old school place like this! Kids love it!
Mini golf ice cream and movies what's not to like? My favorite part was the nostalgic 50's music playing when movies weren't started yet
CASH ONLY to enter! 1950's drive in. Cafeteria style consessions including fried pickles, burgers, hotdogs and the like. Consessions accept credit cards but not to enter?! The website is not current and it cost almost $70 for a family of 6 to enter. FYI - They walk around and tie down your trunk hatch with rope. (So people behind can see)
Get place for family night entertainment.
Great place to go when ever we are on the Cape!
Would have gave 5 stars but the food was subpar

Awesome.....try the beer tent Gino is fantastic
Great way to spend a summer evening, we try to go at least once every season, more if we can. Clean facilities, fair prices at the snack bar, and helpful staff. This is the last of the five drive-ins on the Cape, probably one of the few left in New England. Keep it alive by going!!
Love it
Blast from the past was a wicked cool place.
Amazing experience. Make sure you get bug sprey and fully covered clothes.
It was fun to say I went to the drive in. Not for people who get bothered easily by others talking or car lights going on.
Great experience
Very nice drive-in with a strong 50's feeling. The original speakers from 1957 can still be used which adds to the experience. The food is ok and the pricing reasonable. Overall great place for a nice evening in Cape Cod
Old school fun for the whole family
Very nice place
Great movies bringing back the days of drive in movies as a kid.
Flea market always has something you're looking for, pay extra for the antique or less if they are just getting rid of stuff. Always barter and walk away, you can mull it over and come back. Cheap knockoff Chinese imports, Cape Cod branded clothes, 'tobacco' pipes, old tools, toys, paintings, folk art, food, water fountain, beverages and beers. You could probably spend all day there if that was your thing and it was packed with vendors, looking through every table for that gem of a purchase you didn't know you needed until its gleam caught your eye. Break for lunch and then go through to buy all the stuff you decided on getting. Don't forget sunscreen, water bottles, for the kids and comfortable shoes. Careful on the playground, guaranteed there have been some merry-go-round induced concussions or fatalities.
Great experience for the family!!
Simple family fun. Has not changed in over 50 years, that is what makes it great!
World's greatest drive-in cinemas!!
Nice family value entertainment
Always the newest movies, and you pay for it. Gone are the days of it being cheaper to take the family to the drive-in. No longer $15-20 per carload.. now $12.50 a person! The quality doesn't come close to the theaters, but it's still nice to watch a movie under the stars..
Fun nite drive-In such large screen good food professional staff clean restrooms. Last. Night!! See you next Summer
The parking was really dificalt because of the poles and need to be repaired because most of them are bent but over all it is really good and fun
Good, old school, single screen drive in. Just, the fact, projection is digital since 2012 detracts from that. But actually film is dead, so to survive, they needed to change. It was so nice to learn they had kept their original carbon arc projection system until that point, unmodified. They are extremely friendly folks, offering great service and a good choice of entertainment and snacks on their concession. When on vacation in Cape Cod, spend a night out there. It is a rare to find athmosphere a classic drive in, the way it eas popular when my father was a teenager.
The good could have been better and they were all out of a few things. Overall, however, the place was really cool. Our battery died and one of the guys that worked there brought over a box to jump our truck.
Fun for the whole family. A must for any Cape Cod summer!!
Awesome, old time Drive in.......
We checked out the flea market very nice vendors and prices are reasonable
A childhood favorite that's still around. So fun!
So nice to come back after 35 years To see them still going strong!:)
Great time had by the whole family.
The moves are extremely good good for kids because there is a playground for kids but the one thing i did not like is half way through the move some one complained about a little blue light flashing in my front of my truck window but they didn't complain at the beginning of the movie but it comes to the end of the movie and then the staff tells us the people behind us are complaining about the light but the blue light flashing on my truck is the alarm.
Great place to go to see two movies at once, be with your friends and family and relax and enjoy your self. Great food there too, or bring your own munchies.
Classic summer fun.
Fun spot for a movie or two
Fun, fun, fun
I remember seeing Moonraker here in 79, and now each summer I take my family to the drive-in. The car speakers I think are the same from the seventies, as is the food... and while none of it is thrilling in and of themselves, as an experience, totally worth it. You can tune your car radio to get better audio, and you can bring a cooler with your own dinner and drinks, which helps. Bring some lawn chairs and bug spray, and have a night of it. Double-Features even! Not ideal for a quality movie - but def fun for a night out seeing something silly where you can zone in and out as you prefer.
Fun weekend flea market with a bar to boot. Fun place to walk the dog.
Seeing a movie under the stars is amazing experience
Kids love it. Double feature makes it a complete night.
It's always fun going to the drive-in theater! Perfect for a date night or just family fun. You go for the experience and not the audio/visual quality though.
Slightly biased because both my children work here, great place. John the owner is a super nice guy. Clean place. Visit the flea market on the weekend!
No grass, but a nice drive in. They have some speakers available which is nice
Awesome.....try the beer tent Gino is fantastic
Always a fun time..wish we visited there more but a very long drive home for us late night.... my daughter loves it tho

Go, if you've never been. It's a great experience. Nice evening entertainment. I would bring a take out dinner next time. There's a snack bar with expensive things and can get pricey if the whole family is buying something. Bring a blanket if it is a chilly evening.
A must-do at least once in Cape Cod. Fun for kids.
Not too many of these left. Go at least once, with kids
Big flea market kinda neat
Great in every way. Unique experience, cheap tickets and affordable concessions. Super fun
Always a bargain to be had there provided that you look for them.
Wowie. Man oh man. The generations that have seen the classics throughout the years! You can almost smell the ages over the ocean!!!!
Amazing piece of Americana, gotta watch a movie while u are on the cape!
Gotta love a drive in. Courteous. Clean. Nice. Big fall: Cinema is projected in 7.1 sound. The drive in broadcast does not include the full spectrum of sound. Much of the soundtrack is diminished. And in a musical it is infuriating. Singed without supporting music is word. Lion King by Tim Rice and NO Elton John. Its weird.
What a nostalgic experience. The fun in packing the family up, getting on the road and heading to the drive in. Jaws and the minion movie were on for the night. And oh how the concession stand adds to the atmosphere of an old school drive-in.
I simply adore this drive in theater. With food easily accessible and a playground for young ones, they've thought of everything. I also enjoy the flea market.
The Drive in is the best!
Okay, but the snack options were expensive, lacking in flavor,
A new experience to me, overall was good, the equipment is a bit old but else fine
We have a great time at the drive in every year when we are on vacation
Old school in the best way possible. Have to go at least once every trip to the cape.
Always a good time at Wellfleet drove in.
It was really fun
Found one thing we looked for; but a few vendors we expected were not there. We did get discounted entry fee due to time of day.
I'm actually only reviewing this for the Flea Market that's held on Saturdays and Sundays (and a couple of Wed. and Thurs). Interesting mix of cheap import stuff, original art/ craft and traditional antique/flea junk. Cheap admission (I think it was $4 car load, or $1 walk/bike in). My favorite was a vendor who had a hat embroidery machine, where I got a custom Gnurd hat made!. The concession stand is open for snacks/lunch, and there's an Adult section (bar) for grownup drinks. We go every time we're in the area, and it's always fun, whether we buy anything or not.
Fun flea market..drive in is fun and nostalgic
Seeing a movie under the stars in the summer is a proud tradition that I hope to enjoy the rest of my life! Food is sub par, but the experience is unforgettable.
I am so glad that I have been able to take my daughter to a drive in. It is sad to see them disappearing from the American landscape. Great place to go. Good prices and friendly staff!
The drive-ins is a must do for my family during our Cape annual vacation. Everyone is friendly. Staff is kind and courteous. And the movies were perfect for my kids. Summer 2019 we saw Angry Birds 2 and The Lion King remake. Had a great time.
Excellent movie quality, great staff, clean and good times!
Everything great but they turned the lights on too early.
AWESOME
The Wellfleet Drive-in is a family tradition. Enjoy first rate double features with dolby digital sound in an outdoor setting. Pack the kids in the back of your pick up, open the hatch back or sit in your beach chairs and enjoy. Snacks and a on on site park for the kids makes it fun for everyone. On weekends there's the famous Wellfleet Flea Market to check out too.
Since I was a kid ... Still there .. very cool. Deadpool 2 is now showing.
So much fun! The kids loved it!
Nice drive-in theatre in the middle of Cape Cod. Great concession stand, a big bucket of popcorn only $7. Restrooms were clean. Nice to see kids out playing before the movie.
You can't leave out the yearly trip to the flea market, while you're at the Cape.
Very cool experience to watch a movie in your car.
A slice of the past!
There is a Fee for the Flea Market that seems like a bit of a scam, but the market itself has a lot of weird treasures to offer by locals from across the cape. Would recommend, just make sure to bring cash!
Great atmosphere (but need to cut down the trees up front for those parking close)
Love this place !! A throw back to when I was an little boy, going with father. Brings back lots of great memories. Awsome for a night with the family ! Hope it never closes !!!
Nostalgic... Real classic American relic.
One of the many classic things you can still do on cape.
Love it.
Fun, retro drive in.
The Wellfleet Drive In is a regular stop for us on the Cape. Prices are very fair, family friendly and a great way to see the movies. A must see for sure!
Very accommodating. We LOVED the old fashioned speakers and the original reroll before the movie. The staff was wonderful with helping everyone get situated and ensured that everyone could see the screen when someone pulled in. They had a cute playground for the kids to use while they waited and adequate snack bar. It was definitely an experience we wont forget.
Love taking the kids here! They love playing on the playground between movies!

Super fun experience!!! Wish they stayed open for us locals until at least the end of October! How fun would that be, going to see spooky halloween films on those gorgeous Cape Cod fall evenings... :)
We love going to the drive-in! The staff are great and the prices are reasonable.
Love this place play ground, 2 moves, friendly staff that welcome you back and are very vigilant
We had to park in the last row because of roof cargo box which is kinda far from the screen but still enjoyed it a lot. Great experience for reasonable price!
My family spends allot of weekends on the cape and we almost always plan to hit the wellfleet drive in. They get current movies and always have a double feature for the price of 1 movie at most indoor theatres. Their screen is in good shape and they broadcast the soundtrack over an fm band. The concession stand is a little pricey for what you get but they have lots of options.
Cash only entry, $12 per person as of 6/2018. But they take card at food stand. Screen is good size. And they position vehicles to prevent blocking so thats good.
Typical old drive in, was fun, still had some working speakers, but they suggest tuning car radio for better sound. Saw double feature, small SUVs stay further back than sedans, but many left after first movie and was allowed to move little closer in SUV section (yellow?), food was good basic fare, simple, but they don't precook less popular food like fish sandwich, so you need to ask staff, and wait 15 minutes extra. If you want perfect viewing, then don't do drive ins ... Otherwise preclean windshield, or bring chairs...
Very cool.
Cash only for tickets, ATM at the mini golf that you can use for a $3 fee. Everything else is good! The old speakers even work better than I thought they would but you can always use the radio. Like the old music they play before the show, makes it feel even more retro.
They opened at 6:30, movie started at dark, 8:30 or so. You'll have plenty of time for mini golf and food, theres a playground too. Sweet staff, cash only admission
unique and fun
What a great time ,I got to go down memory lane of my youngest years an enjoyed a great movie . Well maintained facility with plenty to do with young children before the show, with a playground an awesome snackbar. Oh ! An did I mention Affordable $12.00 per for a double feature.
One of the last movies I watched at the Wellfleet Drive-in Theatre was The Emoji Movie. I enjoyed it with my daughter. A Very funny movie and a great Theatre to bring the whole family. The Drive-in is the place to be in the summer.
Super awesome, one of the last drive-in theaters I know
Good food cooked fresh nightly. Fast service. Good directing of large vehicles not blocking smaller ones, good use of the parking situation and people go around to ensure it's not abused. Pretty good exiting with police to direct so no major back-ups. Have been vacationing here for 35 years and the drive in is s must every year, first with our children now the grandchildren.
Fun place for whole family to see a movie like the old days. First time in one and it was a great time.
Such an excellent ambiance on the Cape. Loved it.
Great theatre, lots of food/ice cream options. Great overall experience. The old school speakers worked great (for me)
We like to the flea market there and sometimes I get the get to go to the drive-ins now and then well we're in the cape
A great experience!
So much fun
First, it's a drive in. Summer running, movies under the stars. Second... DOUBLE FEATURES. Two movies for the price of one. Yes! One will be a blockbuster, the second less so, but still fun. Their concession is well staffed, and food is not awful. Fried pickles for the adventurous, burgers, etc for the kids. All in all, an excellent way to spend a summer Cape night.
It's a Cape cod must try. So may great memories here. The food is expensive and not that great but I only go for the experience.
Always a fun time, good family drive in.
Came here to see a double header showing. It was $12- a person but to see two for the price of one today. Plus at a drive in no less. Kids loved it. Wished we had one near home.
Grabbed four chicken tenders which the sign said were $3.79 and was charged $8 at the register. Themovies are sold per head rather than per car and throughout the movie were bombarded by what smelled like raw sewage.
All the nostalgia of a drive-in theater with a decent price for double features!
Great drive in! Goid sound quality, lots of parking.
Such an awesome memory to create for the kids... Plan to always visit when on the cape.
Expensive when paying by the person and not the car. Cash only, no debit/credit cards. There is an ATM on site but you'll be paying fees on top of it.
Was able to take myself and all 4 kids for less than going to theater. Parked when gates open at 6:30pm, went mini golfing ($3.50per child, $5 for adults) and ate at concessions before movies started. Very organized with lots of helpful staff.
A classic drive in theater with first run movies. Lots of fun for families.
Just like the old days!, only now sound through the radio, snack shop, ice cream, mini golf while you wait.
Great experience sitting in the back of the p/u truck. Kids fort time. Staff was friendly and helpful
Definitely a place that feels untouched since the 1960s. Great experience!
Great food amazing service and great experience for the family
I liked it, on occasion some car turns their lights on to leave or do something in the middle of the movie and it makes the screen harder to see. Overall a fun experience for the family. Bring blankets and set up your truck/minivan/SUV for kids to lounge and bring beach chairs. Otherwise sit in the car with the radio on 89.5 to listen to the movie nicely.
A wonderful spot to catch a double feature with the kids. Great vintage vibe. Not a huge screen--get there a little early so you're not stuck too far back. Even a little swing set if the kids get bored. Tune in on your radio or use the good old window mount speaker. Decent popcorn. Skip the ice cream.
It is definently one of my favorite places.
Super awesome, one of the last drive-in theaters I know
Fun place for whole family to see a movie like the old days.
