I come here AT LEAST once a week with my 11 year old son. We both enjoy seeing all the new kid movies AND the new horror movies. He does not get scared easily and it is usually his idea on what movies we see. Out of all the times I have been here, I have never had a problem buying tickets. Today, an older lady at the ticket counter stared at my son and gave me a rude look.. then asked me are least three times if I was sure this was the movie I wanted to see. Yes lady, this is exactly the movie we came to see now let me purchase the tickets with my money. We will not be back to this theater again.

Yeah honestly it's really just OK. If you're just looking to watch a movie this of the place. The seating is that old school seating, with all school stereo sound. The lobby and the workers Are pretty efficient. But they're pretty fishing and customer service. Any time I've ever been there it's just been an absolute mess in the aisles common the bathroom But I'm not someone that can complain about that because I don't really care about that it doesn't matter to me. But they do have a good selection of movies That our current and up today.

What a nice movie theater. I've been going there for the past 30 years and have always had a good experience. The staff are friendly, theaters are huge, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely go there for your next movie experience.

Great neighborhood theater. It's homey and quaint, reminds me of the theaters I saw movies in as a kid. The staff is super friendly too. It's a different experience than a giant theater, but it's awesome in it's own way.

Seats are not very comfortable, often when we go the lobby floor is a disaster (covered in wrappers, popcorn bits of ticket stubs). I stepped in gum which was on the carpet once as well which was not ideal as I missed the beginning of the movie cleaning my shoe off the best I could in the bathroom.

We absolutely love this theater. Nothing beats $5 movies on Tuesdays. Pricing for tickets and snacks are pretty reasonable compared to the big chains and they have a great selection of films. Plus it's in a great spot for dinner and a movie with some really great restaurants in the plaza.

The theater had a bad odor and the floor was sticky everywhere you walked. The seats were outdated and not comfortable to sit in for even an hour. The only positive is that it’s usually pretty quiet. But then again, that’s probably due to its sub-par quality overall. No IMAX or RPX. The sound was okay, but nothing special. Overall it feels like a movie theater that hasn’t been updated in 10 years.

For a theater in Hingham this theater is less than impressive. It has your standard concessions, nothing imaginative or interesting. The teenage staff is just as disinterested as at other theaters. I thought, with lovely restaurants and stores nearby it would be nicer. Nope.

Not what I would call a luxury theater by any means, but it is nice enough, they keep it clean and the people there have always been nice. On Tuesdays, or "Super Tuesday" all movies are discounted to $5, so if you're on a budget, Tuesday is a great day to go. The concessions there are less expensive than most theaters as well.

I loved this place. It's a great place to see new movies and not pay AMC or regal prices. The popcorn is delicious and the concessions are affordable. The theaters were very clean as well as the bathrooms and as far as the picture and sound quality, you couldn't tell me I wasn't watching a movie at AMC. The only difference is the seats but I don't mind them at all. Customer service is awesome.

Prices are ok, Tuesday is $5 movie special, service and the people that work there are pleasant, popcorn was good, it's just really old and kinda run down, the seats were uncomfortable and my son weights 55 pds he struggled with the fold up seat the whole time and was uncomfortable, besides that I'd take the ride to Braintree a little more money but totally worth it.

I like this cinema, it's on the more basic side, but the price is right although they keep creeping up in costs. They have one small theater there though that I dont enjoy, you can be in the way back and still have to strain your neck to see the feature.

The mosvie was good. The service was great. I expected the matinee to be $5 but I was charged $7.50 each. My grandson is 4 and I'm 71. Treats and tickets came to $28 for a matinee. Is there someone to talk to about that?

Thought I would be too spoiled with the new flashy theaters around to really enjoy this slightly outdated one. I've now seen 2 marvel movies on their $5 Tuesday deal and my expierance was fantastic both times. My only complaint and the reason I'm only giving 4 stars is their extremely loud commercials that play long before the movie starts which claim as the real movie trailers begin that viewers should be sure to arrive early next time so they don't miss out on "exclusive content". It's nothing but a bunch of cheap ad space commercials that are played so loudly that you can barely talk to the person next to you while you sit and wait for trailers to begin.

It might have been a one-off evening, but our theater was dirty (trash on the floor of several rows) and cold (I kept my coat on throughout the whole show). Otherwise, good audio and the movie started right on time.

Cinema is in desperate need of a remodel. Carpet clean but stained. Seats in cinema 3 stained and worn. Some are broken. Hardly anyone there for a 7:00 pm show on a saturday night. Theatre was cold. Had to keep our coats on during the show. Staff was friendly and the movie was good. We saw Boy Erased. Probably won't go back as there are better options in the area.

Theater #4 has had a jacked up screen for years. Theater #7 as a previous reviewer posted, the screen was green on the left side during the Warcraft showing we were at as well. You can hear the sound from the the adjacent theater which was a little annoying. The bathrooms smell like unflushed urinals and the floors are so nasty your feet make that sticky sound when you walk (you know that sound). The theaters need a good rug shampooing or at least a few gallons of febreze. The seats need a good cleaning as well.

Bear with me for this long story. So I buy a guinea pig at this theater a couple of weeks ago. I bring it home to have as a pet but realize it is mentally challenged! I could not believe that they sold me a mentally challenged guinea pig! Therefore, I bring it back to the theater, tell them I bought it there, show them my receipt, and the manager, being the typical movie theater manager, berates me saying that I can't return the rodent I had clearly bought from them. This seemed ridiculous so I called animal control for them to investigate. I noticed that they had a farm under the counter that was full of mentally challenged guinea pigs chowing down on stale, fresh popcorn. Hopefully this will put the disgraceful pet store/movie theater out of business!

People often complain about this theater, saying Kingston and Braintree are much better, which is not entirely wrong, but the price here is key. Tickets here cost about half as much as the outrageous $15 AMC Braintree charges. Plus, the theater is usually much less crowded than others, and while the screen isn't the absolute greatest the audio is top notch!

Terrific experience. Saw a movie, the theater itself was very nice. The seats were in perfect condition and were very comfortable. The popcorn and drinks are incredibly overpriced and they dont let you bring anything in which kinda sucks. Other than that its great. If you do decide to buy popcorn it tastes pretty good and I'm fairly sure that refills are allowed for drinks which does make up for the expense you pay. Also the ticket prices are a lot cheaper than different theaters, like AMC

I've been here once. When we walked in the entire lobby was full of smoke from burnt popcorn and the staff wasn't really acknowledging it. They had one door propped open about a foot. Not even the when way. We went and saw the movie and upon exit the lobby was still full of smoke. I'm not sure how it possible they couldn't clear it out in more than an hour. It's a theater close to home but I'm not in a rush to go there again.

Great place for a date night. Not the fanciest movie theater but it works. Smaller than most. Where it wins is the area. You can go catch a morning movie,snag lunch at one of the many local spots l, grab some clothes from Old Navy, visit Bed Bath and Beyond, shop at Trader Joe's or Stop and Shop, then head home. One stop shop for sure!

Really like this theater. Seats are comfortable. They have bargain Tuesdays, staff is nice and friendly. Favorite place to see a flick. Just wish their large Popcorn came with a free refill.

Had to drive an extra twenty minutes to see the Warcraft movie. Patrons and staff were both very rude. Once in the dilapidated theater, half of the screen had an annoying green tint and the audio was too quiet. Avoid this cinema like the plague.

Each time I've been here the staff is super friendly and never rushes you. It's a small theater with limited concessions, screens and no real frills and some quirks (i.e.: the coffee is a wide selection of K-Cups with a Keurig you use yourself) but who cares? I'm there for the movie and the seats are comfortable enough.

It was closed/locked without any notification for the people. They should have some kind of notification to inform on the front door that we are closed for xyz reason. Need to improve their customer service.

the nachos were expensive, the seats are gross, we can't bring our bags?! or i couldn't anyways, this old couple brought in bags like how dare you?? i will sue you i want my money back?!! the food is expensive, your workers look like they want death like hannah baker who?! we excepted hannah to be here but she wasn't? i want my money back! oh and your ads were 4 extra minutes longer then they should've been.

Fantastic deals on Tuesday ($5 all day!) and while it is a simple theatre, not much flash or things like reclining seats and IMAX... it is a perfect venue with a family-run feel.

Awfuuuullll!! Let’s start with the lobby, god forbib there’s a couple good movies in at the same time!! You can’t even move! They have some tables to sit a wait, oh lord they are all scratched up and look like they came from my great grandmothers house. Lastly the theater, I would give this 0 stars if I could you walk in expecting a real theater, it might as well be the average person that lives in Hingham home theater! Absolutely ridiculous, and very disappointing! This cinema does not live up to the rest of the hingham shipyard, they should be ashamed

I just went to The Patriot Cinema in Hanover today. It is a very nice place. Yes, the seats are old but you just can’t beat the price! $7 for matinee up to 6pm! First run movies too! Also bought a water and large popcorn for $10.75. I was pleasantly surprised! I will go back to this cinema again!

The seats are old but the ticket prices are fine comparatively speaking. The refreshments are overpriced but just go to Walmart in the mall before hand and get snack there, they never stop you for having food.

Theater gets a passing grade but nothing special here. Lacks the grand appeal of a big modern theater but also the charm of a small neighborhood theater. Serves its purpose though and there are nice place to eat, walk and shop outside the theater.
