REVIEWS OF Landmark's Embassy Cinema IN Massachusetts

Josh -

Great old school cinema. You get what you expect, which includes good movie selections and normal seats (kind of old but not so dirty or ratty to complain about). Clean bathrooms and more.

HBZ Media

This theatre will always be home. The staff and movie selection is what makes it a real experience.

ms v r wright wright

Most excellent! Small town feel with great hospitality

Robert Desai

Nice, modern yet not overwhelming venue.

Clayton Smalley

Fun time! Love the atmosphere. Only thing was the theater was a little chilly. Possibly season and time.. But definitely liked the place.

Rozsi Moser

I love the Waltham Embassy Cinema. It's within walking distance of many restaurants on Moody Street, parking is really convenient behind the theater, and they show great movies. Can't ask for much more than that.

David Goodall

Great picture and sound, needs new seats.

Andris Vizulis

Convenient location, with (in the evening) free parking in the lot just behind it. The screens aren't huge and the seating isn't the latest, but it's a good place with reasonable pricing.

William Mcdonough

Yes, a funky old independent theater with customers who enjoy old classic films, film noir, and occasionally new films...you'll feel at home here and the staff really helps create a good atmosphere....this is in Waltham, Mass. Where the American Industrial Revolution really got going...and theres a museum honoring that just 1500 feet distant..

Joseph Ting

Great alternative to the big theater chains. Reasonable prices.

Wayne Crandlemere

Good movie theater with discount $6 Tuesdays!

Jim Salvas

The seats are comfy and are still seats; not vinyl covered recliners. The popcorn is freshly made. There's also a decent selection of snacks that should accommodate most patrons. Movie theater done well.

Brian Keefe

Excellent old school theatre very nostalgic for me good sound

Jerry C

A great cinema in all the important ways but no pomp and circumstance. Here are a few highlights... Staff. Some of the nicest people I've ever seen in a cinema. Most movie theaters have disinterested teens or worn-down middle aged folks who either don't care at all or just care about the company policy that applies at the moment. The staff at this Embassy Cinema have been genuinely and consistently polite sometimes even cheerful. They listen, sometimes smile and try to help. They do not make a request seem like an imposition. They are surprisingly great in a realistic way. Films. There is a good mix of art house and popular films. I end up seeing both types here. It seems that each showing I go to has a healthy group of people but no fights for good seats. Atmosphere. The theater is not fancy, but the seats are reasonably spaced and pretty comfortable. The atmosphere is so much better than at West Newton and other haughty art house movie theaters. It may be a the clientele that make those places rough. It is a relief not to hear some loud couple in their 60s complain about anything and everything before having their new iPhone ring during the film because they don't know how it works and then leave while complaining again about how tough it was to find a parking spot for their white Mercedes. <-- Sorry that was kinda specific. Some version of that happens too often at similar cinemas but not much here. Maybe the location, parking or atmosphere scare some of them off. Location. This is a mixed blessing. The nearby restaurants (trendy and not) and bars are really close - easy to hit before or after a movie. Most evenings the parking is pretty good when you figure it out. I like the 2nd floor of the Embassy Public Parking Garage (drive east on Pine St., pass Embassy Cinema, turn left on that little Cooper Street and eventually turn left to the upper parking lot. Leave a spot for me). Food. Better than most movie theaters. Some nice staff, good popcorn, reasonable options, usually short lines and not crazy bad prices (compared to AMC and Showcase). All in all - a great option in the area. Local, not fancy, a little small, reasonably well-kept and well-suited for people who care about films and just want a low-key and nice evening.

Alex Feinman

Addicted to their popcorn. Caring staff. Smaller theaters but not too small. Not too cold in summer, but not to hot either.

Bhanu Jay

believe 10 movies at the theater. all on the first floor. has parking . clean.

E L

Good movie theater, but no free parking there.

Liz Papi

Nice employees! Good popcorn!

Alexander Brand

Not a fancy theater like the ones we have these days, but it has a nostalgic feel to it. Great local theatre in Waltham.

Miguel Contessi

Love this place. Small, multi cinema for a small town. Always good selection of movies. Not a big chain which I rather avoid.

Brian Busch

Love this theater and the Moody Street restaurants nearby. Best place in metro-west for a movie and a dinner. Love that movies here start on time, with only a few previews.

Max Johnson

Landmarks Embassy Cinema is a great theater.

Ladonna Hoffer

I love this theater! Good selection of movies, the best popcorn (and they have Cherry Coke!), and super nice staff.

Joseph Stuckey

Decent prices. Well maintained. Easy to get to as it is close to the Waltham stop. One of the best places to catch a show.

Eduardo M. Gonzalez

I enjoy coming here because of the convenience of the location and the less crowded location, with easier parking. You have to pay for it but it's very reasonable. It's a smaller, more neighborhood type theater. Don't expect the same quality of venue or seating as in newer, mall like cinemas, but they have friendly staff, their movie selection is good, including non mainstream movies at times, and you get the feeling you're supporting a smaller franchise and local employment. That's also a plus for me. It's rarely packed. Which is nice as well (maybe not so good for management I guess) The not so good stuff: Should not be your first choice if you are very picky on the audio and video qualities of the projections. They're acceptable but definitely not state of the art. No rewards program, that I know of, and bring a coat if cold outside. It's almost as cold inside. Guess they're saving on heating

jdatabean .

Had a good time. Parking was a bit rough.

Harrison Muskat

No frills. Perfectly fine theater.

Stephanie H

Old but nice

Dexter Wang

Old time movie theater, but kept up.

Tracey C

Nicr movie theater despite very unfriendly person that sells tickets.

Ben Peterson

It's no-frills compared to a larger theater, but still a great convenient spot for date night!

Tabitha Kadima

Dont buy the hotdogs. Other than that, no regrets.

Stephen Synchronicity

Great little corner theater with a nice selection of movies!

HBZ Media

This theatre will always be home. The staff and movie selection is what makes it a real experience.

This place can scam you a little, the junior mint box said king size but it wasn't that big and it was only half full with junior mints.

Joanne Connolly

I wish they had more movies here! Sometimes we want to avoid crowds and see things like Lego movie but they don't often get movies like that. Other than that, great employees and prices.

Frank Souther

The food is expensive, the seats are too close together (no leg room) and the floor was slick.

elijar sebu

The only movie theater for me in my opinion

Applechrisp

Good prices (for a theater) and helpful staff. Clean bathroom. Seats could be more comfortable.

brielle8383 .

Been coming here for years. A great cinema!!

Amrita Nair

Small cozy theater..i like it

Joshua Rosen

We like this place because it's not a giant multiplex.

Susan Anderson

The popcorn is the absolute best! Quaint little theater. Always my first choice for movie going. Maybe someday they will upgrade to the plush recliner seating that a lot of other theaters are getting but if not, oh well. The popcorn makes up for it! Love this theater!

Ece Bicak

Other than Friday and Saturday nights, you can watch a movie alone or with a few people in the theater. Good popcorn. Movie tickets are cheaper compared to the theaters inside Boston.

Ariella Katz

Nice small theater, always clean, with some great snack options. Seats are standard, none of the special recliners but I kind of prefer that... No reserving seats last minute and getting stuck in the front corner craning your neck. The seats are set up well, so that you never get uncomfortable trying to see the screen, even in the front row. They have half price tickets on Tuesdays and show all the hit new movies plus some indie flicks. Definitely a go-to for Waltham residents.

Chris Dale

I've always liked the Embassy. It has kind of a hip, funky feeling to it. For a while it seemed that it wasn't carrying many films that were (IMO) worth watching...but their offerings have gotten much better in recent months. The upstairs bathrooms are a bit inconvenient if you have to use them during a film. On the other hand they're immaculately clean.

Rishi Nijhawan

Great place!!

Ben Coupland

Great local affordable cinema, smaller screens mean less people to talk over the movie!

Phillip DeLuca

Nice little cinema in the heart of Downtown Waltham. I've seen a great deal of movies here and can honestly say this place is pretty decent and a throwback from the late 80s-early 90s.

Sean Tuohy

I used to live down the street from this place and I really liked it. it had a low-key feel to it. It was clean, sound was good, picture was good, and the staff is nice and knowledgeable about film Also, its nice to walk around Moody street post movie watching.

Veronica Alvarez

Nice little movie theater with reasonable prices for both tickets and snacks. I feel like they should maybe have a small seated waiting area so that I don't have to wander around town when they are not seating for movies yet but that's just a small thing. Bathrooms were also very clean which I appreciate!

The Cat Stone

Good pop corn!

Monique Lebedew

I love that they show movies at the Embassy and they also have popcorn - where else can you get popcorn at a theater these days?! Also one of the managers is supes cute

Ramtej S

Small theater but sound is good

RB AB

As someone new to the area, I was happy to see two local movie theaters within a short distance of my home. I've only seen a handful of films at Landmark's Embassy Cinema, but have to say overall I've been satisfied every time. The prices are a lot more reasonable than the other chains, the staff is courteous and friendly, and the theaters themselves are comfortable and well-maintained. They may not be state-of-the-art, but I will say I've never had to sit through more than 2-3 trailers before the feature presentation, which is a great relief after years of being subjugated to the 20-30 minute never-ending pre-show tortures of AMC and Regal Cinemas. A good selection of mainstream and indie movies means I'll be coming back to this theater many more times.

Johnny boy

small theater but clean and polite staff. the restrooms are on the 2nd floor so that's a little inconvenient at times

Andrea Duncan

I always enjoy coming here to see a movie.

James Bacon

Convenient small theater in heart of Waltham. Gets pretty good movie selection. Easy since it's not too big. The parking lot was a bit hard to find access to but otherwise no issues.

Kasjshae Quimwarrwye

I loved watching movies here. They had a lot to offer and the showings were great.

Michael Morris

Theater #5 was as cold as outside (about 38 degrees). Roof was leaking water.

Arun Sannuti

It's an older theater, so it doesn't have stadium seating or the biggest screens. It does have good snacks and great popcorn. And it is always clean and the staff is very friendly.

Thomas Best

Nice suburban multi screen theater although a little dated. Parking deck free at night, low fee daytime.

Gayle DeBay

Enjoy a movie. Tuesdays are Senior days with a senior discount.

J Kelley

Cool retro theater. 5 stars for open seating!

Maurice Leacock

Best of both worlds - convenient and high quality

Allison Mahoney

Fabulous! And the movie "The Biggest Little Farm" is one of the best films I have ever seen. Thank you L.E. for running it!

jadon thomas

Great service, and wonderful people. No complaints here.

Gallito 小さな鶏

Great, classy, and open air in the reception area even though it was very small. The theater room that we were in (Cinema 1) was pretty good, although there was some weird, hard-to-describe lighting issue before the film started. The projection and audio quality were also very good.

Catherine Hoyt

AC was barely working, but loved the small feel of it. Would be better if they offered beer.

Consuelo

Neighborhood gem. A classic theater with great movies, popcorn, and staff. Love this place!

Juju Lee

Very nice stuff. Small screens. This place has the best popcorn. Poor parking availability

The place is okay, the popcorn is delicious! Better than popcorn at Woburn movie theater.

abhijeet gautam

Not worth the cost.. I feel $14 is definitely not worth wasting on this theater.. Considering the pathetic seating and other facilities they shouldn't even be charging $8 for this.. Should go to this theater only of there is no other option left. Very small screen and poor sound quality as well.. A home theatre system with a comfy couch is a much better option.

Daniel MacDougall

Newer theatre but set up old style... Basic seating and basic sound... Nothing to rave about but decent

Louie Arzuaga

$6 Tuesdays, cant beat that!!!

Suzanne Goodman

Feels like home ... the staff is the friendliest, theater and bathrooms are always clean. The seating is not on the plush end of the spectrum but I have never had a bad seating position and I never have to get there half an hour early just to get a seat.

Adam Schultz

No frills but the best.

Brooke Merkin

Nice, well maintained!

Martin Kelly

It's always good to find yourself in a theater that features many foreign films that peak ones interest.

Devin Klein

Seats do not recline, padding is unforgiving. Screen is small and sound quality was lacking. Don't come here, I am still trapped in this hell in my dreams. Also, nor sure why the theater is colored beige, like a cheap porno.

Kimi Moons

I love coming to Embassy to see movies with my family in a comfortable and cozy environment. This theater might not be as big as other theaters around, but the cheaper tickets and the friendly staff definitely make it worth the while. Since the location is right off Moody St. in Waltham, you could spend your whole day walking up and down Moody St then head on over to Embassy for a movie. Perfect for those days off and summer vacation!

Carolyn Mapes

My favorite neighborhood theatre. They have a good mix of standard movie fare, as well as independents. Great parking available and free on Sundays.

Krista Allen

A convenient theater for popular films. However, the bathroom is inconveniently located on the second floor. Staff are nice, snacks are great (lots of vegan options)! Parking can be found easily in the lot behind the theater (and not too expensive). If you arrive early, buy your tickets and then go for a walk by the Charles River. Plenty of opportunities for food & drink before or after the movie on Moody St.

David Anthos

Nice little movie theater with very friendly employees and they keep the movie theater clean if you live in the Waltham area I highly recommend the Embassy Cinema

Mario O'Shaughnessy

Now I have been going to Landmark since I was a kid growing up on the south side of Waltham. It is a good little theater to have in the area but frankly, the past 3 experiences have been pretty irritating to me. The previous two times I went (Ocean's 8 and 50 Shades Freed) were so quiet, I found myself leaning in to hear what was being said during the spoken word scenes. Its not like these are big action films that the volume fluctuated on. They were mostly spoken word so I have no idea why the projectionist played them so low. Additionally, they never have their masking right. Both of these films, there was a 6 inch column on the side and bottom where the letter boxing was off. Last night was the nail in the coffin when I went to see Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and why I finally decided to write a review. Upon arriving in theater 3, the screen appeared to be set to a flat masking ratio but the commercials were running in scope. I assumed this would be adjusted before the film. Nope. The entire run of the film, the masking was set to Flat on a scope movie. Its not the biggest deal to most but it bothered me because it shows a lack of care of the part of the projectionist. Simply push the button to make sure it is the right aspect ratio. Next, Jurassic is supposed to be a loud movie. I appreciate a theater that does not make me lose my hearing but the fact I could hear the couple behind me chewing on their popcorn while the T-Rex was roaring is pretty bad. All I request is the projectionist spends some time in his theaters so he can quality check what is going on with the film. Finally, what set me off more than anything, was nobody came to shut our theater door. 15 minutes into the movie, when kids were running through the hall and screaming, most likely going to the kids movie of the night, it took me actually needing to get up during my movie to go close the door. Just seems a little disrespectful that the Landmark couldn't send someone to close their own theater door and a customer had to do so. I hope this review finds its way to management and the projectionist in order for these problems to be addressed for the future.

Dave DiCiccio

Nice small theater. Bring your tickets on mobile or email the box office line was long.

Adin Vashi

Nice little theatre. There's public parking after 6(?) half a block down, so that's nice. There are a couple of places to eat -- pubs, pizza, sit-downs -- in the area so it's not bad. I've stopped by here on my commute home from work.

Vaibhav Surwade

Great location Staff is excellent Nice halls

Thomas Harron

Great local cinema with 5 screens showing Independent films and popular hits. Only complaint is they haven't upgraded to modern theatre luxury seating yet.

Facetious Druid

I always enjoy coming here to see a movie.

Denise Corey

Quaint

Larson Shih

Good price. Not crowded.

Jim Fisher

Very good employee selling tickets when I visited. Tuesday shows are $6. At least the first show airing, the other shows???

Vikas Mishra

Old movie theater

Brian Fay

It's a small theater but I have always enjoyed my trips there.

Derek Witt

Really nice little theater. Plenty of seats, great selection of hot tea. Only issue is the screens are a little small, but as long as you're not going there for Interstellar or Dunkirk it's a great choice

Thomas Berry

Like others mentioned, the parking here is a bit hidden, but it's around to the rear of the building. Staff was great, and the theater definitely gives off early 90's vibes when inside. Concessions weren't too pricey, but soda is higher comparably. Seating was flat rows, and the seats were plenty comfy, but more auditorium than "easyboy" style. I certainly recommend coming here if it's closer than other big brand theaters

Christopher Toliver

Consistently good quality recent releases. They are kind to Senior Citizens as well. Parking generally convenient. Nice food selections across the street.

Viktor Goldmakher

A good theater, good choice of art movies

Ayesha Sayed

Awesome cinema!

Stephanie Gallagher

This is a lovely theatre with a retro but stylish scene. No long noisy lines or crowds to contend with. Welcoming staff. No blasting volume or freezing AC, just comfortable and clean accomodations.

Rj the greatest 3

This old, but mighty movie theatre is really great. I’ve went there with my freind to see Thor Ragnorock. 5/5

Edix Lemus

Nice place, even when seats are not as fancy, theres also just the right amount of people to enjoy a movie without a lot of mumbling from others

Tyler Chaulk

A cozy little theater with new movies being played makes it a great place for a date or even just for a casual movie-goer. They've got a slightly more expansive food selection as well compared to most of the theater chains which is definitely nice to see and they all the employees are very friendly. I recommend the pigs in a blanket.

Miles Ehrhart

Good theater with good snacks

Alex K

They just started carrying more hot food including White Castle "burgers." They get them frozen, bun, cheese and all, but surprisingly decent for what they are.

Michael Simari

Great little theater and fairly short money. Helpful staff.

fred Wanger

Comfy, small and delightful home away from home!

Bob Farrell

Old but quaint building but modern projectors.

Amir Moghadam

Great old school feel with new movies. Parking easy but pricey. I wish the bathrooms we're closer to the actual theaters as well. Overall I go here all the time and it's a simple in and out theatre with no frills.

Phil Storer

Nice Vintage Theater. Bathrooms are upstairs but who cares I am there to see a movie. Convenient, easy parking, screen size is OK and the Popcorn is better than AMC. Theater can be extremely crowded depending on the movies playing and other times there are plenty of seats and smaller crowds.

Benjamin Stevens

A smaller cinema. Sometimes movie titles featured are limited. Great discount Tuesday deal. 50% off tickets every Tuesday for any film. It's a pity the bathrooms are all the way upstairs but if you don't mind a bit of a hike then it won't bother you at all. The cinemas rooms are clean and well kept.

Susan Wang

One star for the nice staff. Small seating, small screen. The worst-- misleading parking!

abhijeet gautam

Quentin Fennessy

Very nice cinema in downtown Waltham. Free and convenient parking down the street one block.

John Cullen

Nice old theater Reasonable prices

Dave DiCiccio

Nice small theater. Bring your tickets on mobile or email the box office line was long.

Adin Vashi

Nice little theatre. There's public parking after 6(?) half a block down, so that's nice. There are a couple of places to eat -- pubs, pizza, sit-downs -- in the area so it's not bad. I've stopped by here on my commute home from work.

Thomas Harron

Great local cinema with 5 screens showing Independent films and popular hits. Only complaint is they haven't upgraded to modern theatre luxury seating yet.

Facetious Druid

I always enjoy coming here to see a movie.

Denise Corey

Quaint

Larson Shih

Good price. Not crowded.

Jimmy Necrotaco

Love this place, me and my friends go there any chance we get. The prices are good, staff is really nice and the popcorn is the best.

T Harris

Great pricing and convenient if you live in Waltham, or are touring. Makes you feel connected with the community. As other people have mentioned, the employees are all great people. Don't miss the movie deal on Tuesdays!

Stephen Edwards

Always has the indie films, decent price, and nice employees.

kájl lu

Best employees!

Matthew McCaughey

“THE POPCORN IS THE GAS” -Joseph our fearless leader

ALFRED CARBONE

Excellent variety of movies in a small multiplex neighborhood setting with senior discounts and great popcorn !!!

Vlad Gritsevskiy

They have good taste in movies

Caleb Kempf

Great theater right on Moody Street. Employees are so nice. Good discount rate on Tuesdays. Waltham is fortunate to have this place.

And old-fashioned movie house with first run movies! The best thing about this Cinema is the popcorn! It's freshly made and CHEAP!

Nathan Gaffin

Great theater, nice staff, great movies, great movie quality, affordable tickets, and good show times. The only reason this isn't five starts, is that the food is overpriced.

rayane Mazour Mazouryou

Endgame was very good

Steve Lipofsky

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this Cinema. Very good popcorn.

Ksenia Royal

Love this theatre. Small and cozy

Linda Reed

Friendly local theater with helpful staff. Indoor parking adjacent for a dollar or two. Good mix of big name and more artsy movies.

Andy Benson

Great local theatre. My wife and I are regulars there for movies.

Shoshana Finkel

Great local theater! Always a great experience

Max Metzger

Great local theater. Cozy and friendly.

David Scott

Seriously,, these clowns actually charge for parking! Yea, no. Seats aren't graduated, so unless you're tall, you're looking at someone's head. Once and done.

Theo Resnick

Easy parking and lots of good eateries to grab a bite before the show. The theatre is clean and comfortable

Stephen Bond

Cute little theater. Convenient to moody st and all the stuff to do there. Worth the stop.

Tyler Focht

A cute charming little theater that is a nice change from all the identical massive chains. Seats and screens are good and they show some decent movies that other places don't carry.

Nate G

Friendly staff. Old style seating chairs are kind of uncomfortable, but over all nice place. Food is way over priced.

Ameen Zafar

Great Prices. Old theater.

Spencer Poore

Good cinema

Tim Eigenfeld

Comfortable place to see a movie.

Dr4g0nk1ng

A great little theater. Outdated seats by today's fancy standards but dont let that shy you away from this great space. Usually a awesome selection of updated and sometimes indie films. The food and snacks all taste great. Bathrooms are upstairs which is not fun when you want to go quickly. If you like this place I suggest buying a book of tickets for a much cheaper ticket on your visits.

Jeff Cahill

A small but older theater. It's no Imax experience but if you're able to get into movies it'll do the job. The decor reminds you of the history of movie theaters. Concessions has all the essentials but you'll be able to bring a drink in if you're sneaky enough and don't want to pay movie theater prices. The seats aren't that comfortable. Overall a good but not awesome experience.

Kate Hubbard

We just saw Bladerunner in cinema 5. The sound was awful due to the speaker closest to the door (right behind where we were sitting)being broken. It was scratchy and buzzy everytime a lot of bass happened in the soundtrack. We stopped and mentioned it at the ticket booth on our way out.

Lisa Hayes

Small, not crowded and friendly staff. Excellent location near Moody st restaurants. Seats not as comfortable as a newer theatre.

M. Miller

great little old cinema. Nostalgic atmosphere

Lee Su

Small cinema with current films. Intimate with old fashion seating, not stadium lounge chairs. Half price Tuesdays.

Malcolm Kiano

The best popcorn in Boston! The cinemas have light coming in from the hallway through the doors which was a little distracting but overall a great place to watch movies :)

Nazanin Noei

I enjoy the atmosphere of this type of small local theaters. Though that I read here that the sound quality is poor, I decided to watch "Amy" there. I enjoyed the movie very much and the sound was perfect. I always check the program at Embassy Cinema because they sometimes show the good independent or indie movies that you can't find anywhere else. I especially love the 6$ tickets on Tuesdays.

Kevin Yamada

Quaint. No upgraded seats, no reservations, just like we did it in the 2000s...

Iris Alvarenga

I live down the street so it's convenient and good for when I don't feel like going all the way the Burlington.

Chief 0

Comfortable NON-RECLINING seats. Clean and the best movies

Anne Marie Brako

Old theatre but excellent customer service and many good and trendy dining options on Moody. Parking behind theatre in municipal parking part senior center housing (area ticketed do be careful)

Priscilla Brown

This is a great theater to watch a great variety of films. Staff are respectful, pleasant, helpful. Parking is easy - use machine for ticket to post on your dash. They have room to show #6 films, a good concession stand with variety of food choices.

Bonnie Lynn

Uncomfortable, tiny theater with an unimpressive screen. No free parking, no atm to pay the parking fee. I can't really imagine why anyone would want to come here, save for all the shops and restaurants on moody st. Lots of positive reviews on this place from folks who I assume haven't been to the nicer cinemas around Mass (AMC, Regal, etc), where seats are upgraded to recliners and screens are larger.

Nicholas Hammond

I like this theatre because it is inexpensive and easy enough to park. The theatres/screens are a little on the small side, but it's usually not super crowded, which is nice.

D Chan

What's not to love about this theater? Comfortable seats, convenient and inexpensive parking, yummy fresh popcorn, and more than just fountain drinks to choose from if you're feeling parched. On a budget? Tuesdays are $6 movie tickets all day ($9 for 3D). I've been coming here for years and have never had a complaint.

Sebastian Rodriguez Lopez

Small theater but always clean and good movies available

Mike Ryan

Old school movie theater. No reclining seats or crazy sound systems. But thats OK with me. I dont always believe those kind of pricey frills are worth it. They have the typical blockbusters but also tend to have movies you dont see at the monster theaters. You know the Oscar winners you never heard of before nomination time? Well chances are they played here. Staff is friendly and the popcorn is freshly made and amazing. Even the butter topping seems to be better than AMC or Showcase. Worth a look.

Alan Day

Sweet neighborhood theater with first run films. Lots of dining and drknking options nearby and plenty of parking.

Monica T

Very nice for a small theater. And they have white castle burgers :-) Seats are first come, first served but its not crowded.

Amanda McCombs

A cute little theater. Old fashioned seats which of course aren't as comfortable as the newer AMC and Showtime ones, but it's in a busy part of Waltham and offered a movie that wasn't shown in my town's theater. $11.50 for adults and $9.50 for seniors and students. I didn't catch the kids price. I didn't see any elevators for the bathrooms on the second floor, so maybe call ahead and ask if you need accessability. It was pretty clean and friendly staff.

Ronald MacNeil

Tuesdays are the best: tiny audience, cheap seats... like your own private screening!!
