You have all the opinions of people who buy the services of Heritage Theaters (Movie Theater) in the area close to Massachusetts.
At the moment the firm gets a rating of 4.1 stars out of 5 and this rating has been calculated on 253 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is very high, and it's founded on a large number of reviews, so we can be pretty sure that the rating is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to set evaluations when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Movie Theater belongs to the category of Movie theater.
Not a lot of food options and smaller theater seating
Friendly staff, but beware: if you have a late movie showing, they'll turn out the lights on the place when your movie lets out!
Great theater!
great theater, great service. just gotta say one of the employees with the nail polish and curly hair looks like Klaus from the umbrella academy. overall good job.
i love it i go every year my family always does amazing
This theater is nothing special, but it's a movie theater. It's fun for the family. I do find it strange that the matinee is cheaper than the military discount... that's like giving the illusion of a discount when none really applies.
Wonderful that they run Christian movies! Loved Overcomer!
Good theater, clean stadium seating. 8 screens so usually a good selection and flexible times.
Good stands and always has the latest showings, could use better sounds and more comfortable seats. Also the day to day manager is extremely rude, I hope that he receives an evaluation soon. I wish there was another theater nearby
Love going there! Can't wait to the next Star Wars...always get my tickets with great costumer service
So so, bad popcorn
They always have the newest movies, often with advance screenings. Open year round, which is nice compared to the seasonal operations common on cape cod. Theaters themselves are very nice, with nice and helpful staff
Great selection of movies, size of theatre and seating comfort. Parking is good, right off Route 130.
Reasonably priced; great popcorn and close to home!
the manager is kind of an ass like no thanks and there popcorn is not suitable for the ole dick in the popcorn trick, very dissatisfied
I went to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I was an amazing movie.
There terrible customer service and desrepect to customers says a lot about the managemet here. Besides the awfull management there is a lingering smell and is never clean. I DONT recommend it to anyone unless they are in the mood to be disappointed and disrespected.
Always clean and on time.
Went to see The Emojji Movie on 8/18 with two 9-year-olds. I was surprised and dismayed to see 3 advertisements before the movie that I thought were inappropriate for a children's movie. The first one was for burials at sea, the second one I don't remember, and the 3rd was for a weapons store, in Hyannis I think. Other than that, the experience was fine.
Local small theater really friendly staff
Always seem to have the movie Wr want to watch.
Small lobby, but great theaters.
Great local location.
Nice cozy theater
Great place. Best popcorn around ... they pop their own and don't buy that horrible pre popped bagged stuff.

Stadium seating
Bought tickets for "Green Book" this afternoon. Theater was fairly full. 20 minutes after start time, ads were still on repeat loop. I and others went to get information. 25 minutes after start time, an employee finally came into theater & announced that manager was attempting to fix a problem with projector. 5-10 minutes later, it was announced that problem was "unfixable" & film was cancelled. We all stood in an extremely long line to get a refund (one person doing this). No refund on the vat of popcorn I'd bought & no longer wanted. On my way out, I went to restroom. No toilet paper (of course...).
They have really good seats, and very steep seating, which means you'll never have to look around somebody's hat. I've gotten incredibly stale whoppers there. They were still within their expiration date, but they were somewhat soft and chewy (whoppers should be crunchy, and melt in your mouth wonderfully). It's a good theatre, I go there often, they are always friendly, and seldom have huge lines.
Good clean amd plenty of cute girls working there
Usually not crowded, mediocre sound, could stand better seats
Went to see new Star Wars, always a great place to see movies.
Great theater! Awesome seating and cheaper prices then most theaters
Once you get into the theater it's a nice experience. The auditorium will be stadium seating... so you are far less apt to be blocked or bothered by people in front of you... unless they are still on their (&**^#%& phones. The other part of the operation is altogether different. The people selling tickets tend to be pretty nice but the people we've had lately seemed like they'd rather be somewhere else. The snack bar is a joke. First, the prices on the menu make you think you're in Manhattan. Everything is sky-high expensive. That MIGHT be ok if the food were acceptable. We don't buy candy there any more as it tends to be stale (perhaps if it were more reasonably priced it would turn faster!!??). And the popcorn is atrocious. It comes in giant bags that get poured into a front display case. Which assures that it is right around room temperature when you get it. In case that's too warm for your tastes, be sure to ask for "butter" -- in reality an artificial, butter-like substitute that they stingily dole out like it's platinum. But the good news is the super-enormous popcorn for a sky-high price comes with free refills. Just in case you can get enough of a mediocre thing.
Nice little theater that is priced reasonably. Larger than some of the other theaters on the Cape.
Did you fire that jerk manager yet? Also, did you fix the bugs in the popcorn storage container?
Good sound quality and great picture
Friendly neighborhood theater-reasonable prices first run movies
Great small town cinema.
Good movies!
The theater was very warm and stuffy. The AC finally kicked in halfway through the movie.
Never had a Bad Experience with this place.
It's a nice facility. Food and drinks are a little pricey, but when isn't theatre food.
Local movie theatre with reasonable pricing and it usually isn’t busy.
ms.piggy and I went there and we had some fun in the bathroom. 11/10 would f**k again
Hey I’m sorry , that review was not true , jacks a online friend of mine and I didn’t intend to get him in any sort of trouble and I hope I can be forgiven . Jack never did anything.
Seating not as comfortable as home regal theater
My favorite theater because it is local! Nice to be able to drive a mile and go see a movie. The kids working here are always super friendly and are quick with their service. I’m glad we have this here in Sandwich.
Great place! I love the pop corn and atmosphere
Stadium seating, clean, pleasant staff
I really enjoyed the movie Black Panther, but I didn’t get to see it all because I left to complain that they didn’t dim the house lights. I spoke with somebody who was identified as the manager who claimed he would look into it, but the theater was never fully darkened. I was distracted by the color being washed out and the brightness of the light pollution. The blacks were not as rich as they would be otherwise and I couldn’t lose myself as fully in the movie. Is this now a thing to not turn the lights off? Very disappointing and I don’t think I would ever go back, especially when the manager did nothing about my concerns.
My husband and I rushed thru our dinner at Tomatoes Restaurant tonight across from the Heritage Theater in Sandwich. When we got to the ticket counter, about 8:15 p.m. we were told the movie didn't start because nobody bought any tickets for it. So they didn't start it and weren't going to. If we would have bought our tickets before we had dinner would they have started the before movie stuff at 8 and could we have seen the movie? If we would have bought the dinner and a movie special at the restaurant would we have gotten to see the movie? Well, today is my birthday and this was a real let down.We didn't want to get to the theater at 8 p.m. because we can't stand watching all the ads and movie trailers before the real movie comes on. So I'm at home watching TV and am a very unhappy camper on my birthday!!
Great little theater, usually very clean, there snacks are over priced but that's every theatre. They do offer military discount so that's a plus :)
Theater 2 has a green dot on the screen and gray demarcation line that ruins your entire movie. Management knows about it refuses to fix it or acknowledge blame. Manager was rude instead of apologizing and/or offering refund.
Prefer this theater instead of going all the way to Hyannis. Comfortable seating and can always miss crowd going to matinee
It's a movie theater on cape cod. What more could I have expected? The screen had a tear in it and was a different color below the tear. Also, you if there is a loud movie playing next door it will over power the sound from the movie you are watching.
Really pricy, and the theater itself is decent.
Easy to find and good parking.
The only theater left that pops fresh popcorn....and it's cheaper than all the other theaters that sell crappy old popcorn at top dollar.......theaters/screens are small, but the fresh popcorn makes up for it... I think Jeff Myers below is reviewing regal cinemas in Hyannis, because Heritage in Sandwich, MA pops their own popcorn, YUM!
My favorite theater. Its independent, clean, and has stadium seating.

This is a nice alternative to the Regal experience.
Good theater
Good place to see movie
Heritage Theaters is a good local movie theater very clean and safe . They have good prices and food snacks. The popcorn varies , sometimes is not as good but sometimes their are very good.
This theater is tucked into a strip mall and looks a little run down. It isn't. The individual screening rooms are small, so no big crowds. The theater we were in had a substantial rise, so we were able to see the screen easily. The staff is pleasant, and of course, there is food. What more do you need?
It's ok and it's local
small town theater.
It was warmer outside the theatre at 58 degrees. No availability for wheelchair persons to sit unless directly under the screen. Ladies room had absolutely no toilet paper in any stalls. Sound system barking from blown speakers. On the plus side, seats were comfortable and had no obstructed view.
Went to see The Shape of Water. It was pretty interesting. The theater was clean. Staff was friendly. The ticket price was reasonable.
Great family owned, clean nice help!
Close by, understaffed. Moderately clean.
Great theatre!
The theater is quiet when you walk in. Even for busy showings (though I prefer the late ones) you find the mood subdued in a way you can't quite place. It's not uncomfortable it's... somewhere between clinical and religious. The staff is quiet and courteous as you pay for your predictably priced tickets and concessions. The lobby itself is usually bare of the oversized cardboard standees one associates with such places. The carpet is a green out of time. Sometimes someone will be there to take your ticket. Often not. Moving to th theaters you pass through a single long offwhite hallway lit by particularly yellowing incandescents. There are no marquees advertising what's playing, instead the current film is printed out on 8.5x11 paper tucked in a plastic sleeve and taped to the door. The seating is usually clean, with a prepreview slideshow of ads from local businesses, charming in their amateurish graphic design. The sound is mostly good, save for the occasional bellow of the HVAC system. It's a theater for people who don't have many options and are okay with that. Looking for a cinema experience somewhere between pilgrimage and therapy session. There's a sense that the theater and you both know you're the best either one of you is going to do, and that that might be okay. I love it.
Absolutely terrible got kicked out for no reason and 2 30 year old lady’s threatened to kill me and a few friends
Small theater, great movie options.
Skip this dump. I just saw "Solo," but the picture was too dark throughout the film - - most of it was in shadows. I complained to the manager, Will, twice, and one more time as I left. He told me I was simply wrong and refused to resolve the situation. There are many other theaters that have quality technology. Don't settle for old, worn-out seats and rude staff who don't know much about delivering good service.
Great rates.
The volume is perfect and seating is better than average
The seats are more comfortable than regal in Mashpee commons which is closer to us. Price is average but not as liberal on senior discount age as regal. Experience is generally good the times we've been.
We come to this theater about once a month. I've brought 5-6 kids at a time during the day, I've come for date night with hubby or out with the girls on a Sunday afternoon. Every single time has been a good experience. Rarely crowded, usually everyone is very nice and helpful. Kids love the kid size snack tray with the popcorn and juice. Comfortable seats and most importantly it is never too loud.
Great place to see a show
I Love it
My fav theater its never overcrowded and the seats are super comfy. Plus it does not have the 45 minute previews that a regal cinema has.
Fine theater. The seats are very basic and the screen is on the smaller side. Outside of the actual screening area it seems almost unfinished. Plaster walls and bad carpet. Almost industrial. Not great, but not bad.
Great little theatre!!!!
Best popcorn! Clean, friendly employees. Soooo much nicer than going to the mall.
Typical movie theater.
Off the beaten track movie theater
Good people.

Nice theater n wasn't busy
Clean and fun
Stadium seating, good surround sound system, rarely crowded, reasonably clean.
Worst theater and service in town. Probably because it's the only one in town.
Manager is rude. About a year ago I purchased 4 tickets for a family movie and did not notice that I purchased tickets for a showing in one theater an hour latter than the same show in another theater. The show was at best 1/5 filled and I asked if we could change our tickets for the earlier show that we intended to attend. When we spoke to the manager he refused. Worst yet he was extremely rude and abrupt with us. As a result no one from my family will ever go to that theater again and I urge friends and family to go to another theater that deserves there patronage. To add insult to injury I went to the theater's web page and submitted a complaint with my name and contact information. They never responded.
Sucks
Went here for the first time today . I was very impressed with how nice this theater is. Very clean and pleasent. Staff was kind. Huge screens also. I will be attending often.
Great theater for watching movies ies get here early or you might not sit with your group
Theaters are a bit small, can be very crowded on a rainy weekend during the season.
Great place to go for big movies opening weekend. No crowds.
This theater is really nice! Has a great snack bar with great assortments of snacks, and comfortable stadium seating with an awesome surround sound system, also has always got a good choice of movies.
Stadium seating.
One of the best cinemas in town.
Comfortable seats, digital projection.
Great place!
Where do I even start? The manager is OBNOXIOUS & treats the staff horribly which is very uncomfortable to watch...which I assume is why the staff really isn't in the best mood. It takes forever to get any food if it needs preparing (even if it isn't busy),on one visit the young man taking tickets was completely rude because he didn't like a t-shirt I was wearing (I think he assumed it was in reference to something political..it wasnt) I've been told I could go in to the movie on 3 seperate occasions only to see that the theatre had yet to be cleaned from the previous movies showing & only once did someone actually come in to clean it,but it was in the middle of the previews so it was a little annoying...another time I was in there & left my phone by accident,I called them to let them know immediately but was told it wasnt there (even though my phone tracker stated it was) eventually they said it was there (only after I said it was tracked) & I was able to retrieve it & again they were unpleasant,I guess someone thought they could keep it. And lastly many times the movie is put on blast, the sound is so loud it's uncomfortable to the ears....so all in all I am extremely unhappy with the whole of my experiences in this theater,I wish it could be fixed because it is a nice sized theatre with comfortable seats and a lot of leg room & a good variety of ways & it's a shame that a nice venue gets ruined in this fashion.
Loved it
Nice little theater, not too expensive
Place is very clean friendly staff. Only complaint is that sound from theater next to us was to loud.
Our favorite neighborhood theater when we are on Cape Cod.
Very old theater, desperately in need of an upgrade
There is some really awful smell going on in these theaters lately. A mix of stale popcorn, rancid oil and dead animals and/or produce. Is something clogging their vents? Nice to have a local theater, but they have to do something soon - who wants to pay for having to sit covering your nose for two hours?
I saw Hacksaw Ridge, awesome movie
Good place to see a movie
Love having a local theater close to home without a drive to the insanity in Hyannis! Mashpee Regal cinemas is next closest but tends to be crowded or sold out since the rooms are smaller. Have never had dealings with the manager so can't speak to that issue but as far as the heating, it's fine with me because I get sleepy if it's too warm. The popcorn is usually always wicked awesome since it's popped onsite; they even have two popping machines. The only time I've had an issue with the popcorn is sometimes we get too little/no butter but that's a training issue. Has cup holders but not the movable trays for popcorn or food. Have never noticed any odors so that problem seems to have been remedied. Have only eaten the popcorn; cannot speak to the other food issues. Would love to have Jordan Almonds I remember getting at theaters as a child. Love that they provide printed schedules hanging outside for you to pick up and take home. Website is good, too. The ads do seem excessive but helps to keep the prices reasonable, I'm sure.
My wife and I have gone numerous times mostly during week days when there are fewer people. We like it very much. Stale popcorn? dead animals? Sound bad? What theater are you in? or maybe because we are not connoisseurs of finer theatrical venues we aren't used to the finer things?.
Good theater
You pay to see the movie, but why watch endless commercials at the start time? not heated well
Great place for a show, always clean and staff very friendly. Go early to save $$
Nina is a great and helpful employee.
Clean, good sized theatre rooms, seem to be great group of staff, nice place to watch a movie
Good prices for a theater
