It's nice to go here every now and then. It's an old theater and I appreciate its history. You cannot go here expecting your typical Cinemark or AMC experience, this is not that kind of place. My only suggestion is an upgrade/replacement/wash of the seats. The theater immediately to the left of the concessions was pretty bad.

LOVE this place !!! Prices are reasonable and they have special ticket prices on Tuesdays. Staff is very friendly and the owners are a real pleasure to talk with. It is so much like the old fashion theaters I went to as a kid - sadly, very few of these around anymore.

Great nostalgia..excelent prices..unfortunately the floors creek really bad which takes away from your movie experience. They may have elevators for wheelchair access.. but i didnt see any. Be ready to climb 3 large flights of stairs to get to tour seat..all in all it ws a god experience and i would go back again.

With a gaggle of kids I appreciate the somewhat lower ticket prices. The place is a bit rundown but I prefer to be able to afford a ticket to a movie than pay a higher price because they have new carpet and fancy chairs. The bottomless soda and popcorn (if you order large or XL) is also a deal if you have 5 kids slurping and snacking. Buy one and we all share

It's Greenfield. So, musty and dusty carpet, weird smell, old seats, and popcorn that made my friend throw up. But it gets the job done (as in you see a movie) but the process in getting there is a bit stomach turning(especially in the case of my friend)

It's, well, exactly as it presents itself. It's old, and it looks old. It is quite regularly very cold in there, so there's never a need to take off your winter jacket, so that's a plus(?). I've been to many theaters in my life, and I can absolutely say this is the worst popcorn I've ever had from any of them. I've never seen popcorn being made, it's always in a massive plastic bag. These things being said, it's not too bad as a theater itself. The chairs are pretty comfy, and I really enjoy the quaintness of the small theaters, especially the one up the stairs to the right as you walk in, as the screen is level with the front row.

It is a Small Town Theater so you must keep that in mind it once was a large theater and now it's been subdivided into I believe 8 mini theaters . A once used theater organ is still on display but I know of stories when it used to go up and down hydraulic late in the back of the stage where the curtain would come down and the organ we could download the stage there's a lot of history there and it certainly is a small-time theater and you can't beat the movie prices during the week it's only $5 and on the weekends eight dollars seats were comfortable but no comparison with a huge West Springfield chairs with trays that recline but then again the price is considerably different LOL

Nostalgic atmosphere as soon as you walk into the place. The theatre room was spacious and cozy. It's not modernized (seats are classic). Staff were friendly. If you want nostalgia, this is the place to go!

Extremely disgusting. Whatever you do, do NOT eat the popcorn. I complained because mine was stale and they THREW my popcorn back into the machine and scooped me out new popcorn. After complaining to the owner, it was clear that this is a common practice with used popcorn but they aren't supposed to do it in front of customers. Recently I met an employee from there through mutual friends and he told me they re-use popcorn for 3 days (I saw them putting popcorn into huge plastic bags before, thought it was for trash) .... Please do not go here.

Has gotten a lot benter over the years. Glad to have a local theatre in town. My only complaint is the last time we were there they forgot to turn the AC on. They turned it on eventually but we were literally sweating waiting for our movie to start. Also the popcorn tasted a little on the stale side.

UPDATE NOV. 2018: THIS PLACE IS FILTHY, SUCH A SHAME. CAN'T SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING TO HELP?!? I really like this theater in most ways, but the seats are so filthy that I couldn't bear to sit on them. I got paper towel from the bathroom and put it under me on the seat, then tried not to touch the arms. A good shampooing would go a long way.

I really wish they would renovate this place. I usually like going to the mall because it is a lot more sanitary but going here saves a drive. Would be worth it if the owners updated the place a bit more. I feel like this place has stayed the same since I was a kid 20 years ago.

The Greenfield Garden Cinama is great. If you want to catch the latest movie, you don't really have many choices. I love that it is right in the center of town. It's not hard to find parking in one of the town lots. The theater itself only has street side parking. Sometimes the place is packed and other times it's completely empty. The snack bar is what you would expect. Nothing special but the free refill on the larger sizes is nice. The seating is alright. Although I have never been able to find that "perfect" seating sopt. The floor can sometimes be a bit sticky... But that happens. Your going to tell me you never spilled anything in your life ever? Now the sound system at this place is absolutely amazing! Picture quality is good. I've seen some technical problems but again, things happen. Go watch a movie. This place is good.

The owners are wicked nice. They have made many upgrades such as seats and dts sound. I love the atmosphere and going to a 12am sold out movie. One of the owners will always come in and make a fun announcement about which ever Popular movie we are there to see at 12am. Dont think just go there.

Can't ask for more than our own hometown theater. Plenty o' popcorn and treats, many choices of movies, a relatively clean bathroom and matinee tickets available as well as full price.

This is a real family owned cinema. The seating is as comfortable as you'd find in any of the big box theatres. Plus, they have on display the organ that resided in that space when it was built. It's a friendly and family oriented business in the heart of a charming old New England town.

We went to see Sing, and half the movie was nearly impossible to hear over the sound of Underworld playing in the theater next door. Explosions, constant booming -- it drowned out the movie we were trying to watch. Also, the bathrooms are filthy. One of the toilets was leaking sewage.

The Greenfield Garden Cinama is great. If you want to catch the latest movie, you don't really have many choices. I love that it is right in the center of town. It's not hard to find parking in one of the town lots. The theater itself only has street side parking. Sometimes the place is packed and other times it's completely empty. The snack bar is what you would expect. Nothing special but the free refill on the larger sizes is nice. The seating is alright. Although I have never been able to find that "perfect" seating sopt. The floor can sometimes be a bit sticky... But that happens. Your going to tell me you never spilled anything in your life ever? Now the sound system at this place is absolutely amazing! Picture quality is good. I've seen some technical problems but again, things happen. Go watch a movie. This place is good.

Reasonably priced, super friendly and considerable staff, much cheaper than Cinemark, but the seats and the theater in general are just so run down and dirty! Cleaning the theater shouldn't cost the owner too much! I would give a five star if not for the dirtiness!

We went on Monday Oct 17th and they were closed with the website stating that all movies were playing at 7:00. There was no sign saying why it was closed and called the number and no description why they were closed. What a waste of my time and upset my son very much...

The owners are wicked nice. They have made many upgrades such as seats and dts sound. I love the atmosphere and going to a 12am sold out movie. One of the owners will always come in and make a fun announcement about which ever Popular movie we are there to see at 12am. Dont think just go there.

A really cool old building. Went to a weekend debut and it was not crowded. They also have a friendly staff that gave me a two dollar bill as change on a Friday I hope they get more business.
