Been to every show this season. Great season with South Pacific being the highlight for me. Definitely an experience everyone should try. The grounds are beautiful and the structure itself is amazing. Pre-show sitting with friends at the gazebo with a glass of wine watching the sun set-priceless!

Saw Million Dollar Quartet. As always, professionally done musical. Actors equity theatre. Not the most comfortable seats, but inexpensive. And, fab show. Have been here at least 15 times over the years.

Great place to see very well performed plays on the cape. Seats aren't the best, but the venue Is a very old converted barn. Seats are long pew like benches with some pad on the seat. Lots of parking, serve wine and beer and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff.

While the musical “Once” was quite well performed, the viewing experience was terrible. Avoid the balcony unless you want to be frozen by the A/C unit on the back wall that sends an arctic blast at your neck. I would have worn a down jacket if I had known. Also, the sight lines are very poor as the seating is not staggered. I realize it’s an old classic building, but they need to change the A/C or just turn it off.

We look forward to returning and hoping our experience this year will be more positive then it was last summer. We purchased our tickets online and had them printed as proof of purchase and told to bring them with us. Even though we purchased our tickets online we still had to wait over 20 minutes in line. Perhaps a ticketing booth for online purchases would be of help along with letting your customers know what the fees are for when buying tickets. This year we will purchase our tickets the night of the show to make sure the weather is cool because it is uncomfortably hot to the point we decided to leave along with some other folks who were also uncomfortably hot. Management was not much help and did not show any flexibility about refunding or exchanging for a different date. However we look forward to this summer and hope our experience is a positive one. Fun place to see a show, enjoyed seeing Footloose in 2011 and Legally Blonde in 2012! However do not buy tickets for Loge seating. Sight lines are the worst I've ever experienced. You sit sideways to the stage and there is a 3' aisle and railing in front of you which makes it hard to see everything on the stage.

What a fantastic show! BALLROOM WITH A TWIST- I went to show Saturday night August 3, 2013 and WOW...the dancers and singers are AMAZING! Best...Best show and I would recommend the show for everyone that likes to smile and can appreciate the talent and hard work of these young women and men!

We were looking forward to seeing Altar Boys on 8/4/18, however due to a thunderstorm that caused flash flooding in our area we couldn't cross the bridge to the Cape. We were stuck in traffic for 2 hours and completely missed the play. We called the playhouse 3 separate times to inform them of our dilemma. Catherine & Drew where both very sweet and worked hard to find a solution to our problem. We were told to contacted Kathy Rochefort, the Executive Director. When we spoke to her she was rude and told us that plenty of people made it to the play that night and that we could have made it there if we tried. She would not refund our money or even give us a vocher for a future show. She told us that she made the policy and that was that. This would have been our first time to the playhouse, but now we are out $125 and will NEVER try to go back.

Historic playhouse in Dennis. Quality of performance and acoustics always above average. Seating in balcony was wooden benches which were uncomfortable even with cushions, but you can't have everything. Plenty of free parking. Great summer night 'go to' entertainment.

Have taken our 4 kids to multiple shows here (ages 4, 8, 8, and 10). Love the old theater, the kid shows are fun, and staff are always pleasant. It's a wonderful introduction to live theater for kids.

Ballroom with a Twist was one of the best performances I have ever seen. I have been a season ticket holder for several years so have had the enjoyment of many great performances over the summers. However, Ballroom with a Twist was beyond description. The music, the dancing, the performers were spellbinding --- Tristan and Anna, Gina and Von, Oskana and all the others presented an evening of singing and dancing that was magical and entertaining. This is an evening for everyone who loves music --- you will not be disappointed.

One of the Country's oldest playhouses, The Cape Playhouse is a great venue for summer long Entertainment featuring stars from Broadway, Boston, and across the Country. Productions run for 2 weeks, with a changeover happening between a Saturday night closing, and a Tuesday night Opening for the next production. Its amazing! Always a great place to visit.

We bought second row balcony seats 20 minutes before the show for Once. Quite likely my best theatrical experience. The music, acting, sound was very good. Finally, a theater where I can hear the dialogue clearly! Very touching storyline with really good actors. Loved it.

Attended the matinee performance of Clue on 8/29/18. Packed house!! Stopped by the ticket booth before the performance to insure that the venue was air conditioned. Was advised that the venue was air conditioned. Air conditioning unit (?) was woefully inadequate and venue was unbearably hot!! Seats are narrow and uncomfortable!! Thankfully I had the presence of mind to bring a bottle of cold water! Thought I was going to be sick!! My husband suffers from chronic medical conditions and was nauseous! Mercifully the show was only 90 minutes! Grossly negligent of management to instruct personnel to misrepresent the air conditioning at the venue!! Will never return! Think twice before going if you don’t like people crowding you and horrible air quality!! Terribly disappointed!

Best shows on the Cape. I saw Gypsy this past summer, I was blown away by the talent assembled there. The seats are a bit small and lean towards uncomfortable, bring a small cushion or pillow if you can.
