What a nice little theater! Went here for the first time and couldn't believe how cheap it was, only $6/person for matinee on a Tues. Staff was extremely friendly. We'll probably go here from now on, no need to go all the way to Braintree or Randolph.

The Cameo is a local landmark that is much smaller and more low-key than most movie theaters nowadays, but is still nice in its own way. I was surprised to discover that they've even upgraded the seats recently, so watching a movie here is quite comfortable now. It's a great option if you want to see a movie without spending a lot of money, and if, like me, you really don't care about all the expensive bells and whistles that more modern movie theaters keep adding. If you just want a popcorn, soda, and a good movie, the Cameo is perfect.

Going to a movie at The Cameo is like being back in time. From the actual marquee to the large, carpeted lobby and smell of popping corn, I was transported back to my childhood and teens. The seats have been replaced, however, and are now plush, leather deep thrones! No more folding, thin padded rows of seating. The image quality was great. Parking in Columbian Square can be challenging.

The Cameo in Weymouth is my go to movie theater! First run movies, in a comfortable theater, with sound and visual quality of all the giant movie houses for a fraction of the cost. I've been going there for years, and love all the recent upgrades to the theater. With a great pizza place across the street, a frozen yogurt bar, and a new smoothie place around the corner there are dining and dessert options too!

Just visited here last night, what a classy, clean, and unique venue. Nice neighborhood, the theater itself is as big as the smallest "big theater" you've been to. The staff is super friendly and laid back, It's plenty big, sound and visuals are great. And you just can't beat the price, no need to go anywhere else for movie night.

My Dad used to take me to this theater growing up. It's a classic theater but the seats have been updated. Tickets are always cheap popcorn and soda is always cheap, and the inside is like being in a time machine. If you've never been to an old movie theater I highly recommend it or if you just want to see a movie cheaper.

I have always loved this theater. I must have gone at least a hundred times since I was a child. The tickets are an unmatched deal. I think that before 7pm the tickets are 5.50 and after they are 7.50. that's half the cost of other theaters. It is a very well air conditioned space and is warm in the winter. They renovated.a few years ago and put in very comfortable chairs. In total It only has two theaters, but plays most of the money movies.typically has a movie for kids and one for adults.I see all my monies there, it's a good time

Who doesn't love a bargain movie at the Cameo? I paid less than 5 bucks per person on a Tuesday with a few of my kids & killed a couple hours with new Lego Batman movie, which was really funny btw. Go to Walgreens & get some candy for a third of the price but at least buy a popcorn & a drink if you're getting a cheap film! They are adding better seating soon. I hope this classic theater never goes away.

Wow! I was hesitant at first, not gonna lie. Once inside though....the staff was super friendly, the ticket prices were great, the popcorn was buttery and the sound quality was good. The bathrooms were small but so much cleaner than at a big theatre and the atmosphere was just so quaintly old school it was amazingly charming. It was old fashioned without feeling old or run down. It was clean and well maintained and the seats were comfortable.

I like to go to this theater because it's very cheap but also because it's really cool place. It's an old small theater with only two screens and it has this great vintage vive, it looks very old from outside but it's nice inside, seats carpet and all is new. The only thing that sometimes it's not so great is the audio, I don't know what it is but sometimes I have a really hard time hearing the dialogues (not with all movies though, may be the movie itself).

Old school charm with recent updates to the seating, sound and projection systems. You can't beat the price for early shows, 2 people can go for less than 1 ticket in most theaters. With only 2 theaters they may not always be showing your top film choice but they run new releases and most of the big titles. Small theaters are scarce and this place does a great job! I love to support small local theaters like the cameo and hope others realize how lucky we are in South Weymouth to have this in our backyard!

My family and I love the Cameo. It is the only theater with an ounce of charm left. Both my boys have had there Birthday party’s at the Cameo. Highly recommended.

This is one of my favorite places. It's nice and small, they often have great things playing, and it's super affordable. The workers are really nice and efficient. All around, it's really a great little theatre.

I like to go to this theater because it's very cheap but also because it's really cool place. It's an old small theater with only two screens and it has this great vintage vive, it looks very old from outside but it's nice inside, seats carpet and all is new. The only thing that sometimes it's not so great is the audio, I don't know what it is but sometimes I have a really hard time hearing the dialogues (not with all movies though, may be the movie itself).

You cannot beat the price! Love old ma and pop theaters like this one. It has an old feel but kept nice. Newer seating and great sound. I do wish all the seats reclined. The only ones that do are the ones up front and we sit there for the comfort but end up too close to the screen.

The Cameo is such a great little family theatre. $6 matinee tickets, super comfy seats and parking was easy on a Sunday. The kids and I caught a movie after they grabbed pizza across the street.

Old school charm with recent updates to the seating, sound and projection systems. You can't beat the price for early shows, 2 people can go for less than 1 ticket in most theaters. With only 2 theaters they may not always be showing your top film choice but they run new releases and most of the big titles. Small theaters are scarce and this place does a great job! I love to support small local theaters like the cameo and hope others realize how lucky we are in South Weymouth to have this in our backyard!
