Keep up the good work
Not many people. You enter easy. Good price
The movie was wonderful! And I saw another amazing movie there awhile back. That is the best part of this, and the fact that they treat you like adults, and leave you alone! to watch the movie! It is a grand place, too. And there is a sitting area to have a meal 1st (better to bring your own! pricey and none of 'my' food. Popcorn is ridiculous- $$$). A nice place to enjoy a movie, and they have a good selection. Easy to get to by public transportation. I felt safe coming and going there, since it's a busy, well-lit area.

AMC double-booked our seats. Both parties used the AMC website. The other party chose to give my party the seats, but I hope AMC refunded their tickets and granted them tickets to another showing at a discount. Beyond transaction security, this should be the most important feature to not screw up in theater booking tech.
The movie was excellent. However, the experience at the theater was not what I expected. The show was changed to a different theater. The staff was not sure and all were not on the same page. The cleaning people could get in to pick up after the previous film was shown, so there was food, trash and soda cups everywhere. Usually this is a good place for a film, but obviously it was a bad night for the staff.
Why are you guys always out of Jalapeños. I generally buy popcorn because you have jalapeños and it’s always sad to hear that you guys don’t have jalapeños.
Good theatre. The seats are ok but it could be better. The A-List subscription is really worth it.
Delighted to find an IMAX theater in the middle of historic downtown Boston. They even have hot meals which you can take into the theater rooms. Great artwork, clean theater rooms, good movie quality. The real reason it gets the full stars is because this is such a hard place to build out and maintain something as spacious and nice.

This place personifies the filth of downtown Boston. The bathroom had a pool of urine stretching from the wall to three middle of the floor. The escalators have been down for over a month and a half. That information was freely given be one of the staff. They had one sales rep and the rest of the ticket daddies were handled by kiosk. That wouldn't be a problem except several kiosk didn't work properly, so you ended up still needing the sales rep to get the tickets. However, that wad after having to wait foot the one attendant to finish with the other customers. Just a simply atrocious theater going experience.

A bit old building but good location
A bit old building but good location
Munchkin and I had the time of our lives. Staff was nice and respectful.
I love this place because I love movies, and this is where they keep them. More importantly, matinees are only $7.09, so an early weekend showing(before noon), saves you money AND the hassle of a packed theater! .I'm there at least once a week, and the place is always clean and the staff is always helpful/friendly. (although the place is half run by ticket robots these days)
Beautiful theatre with a helpful staff. Loved the Aesthetic. Went here for a pre-screening. IMAX was big and beautiful. Sound quality was very nice.

Very nice place for movies with friend! Comfort sitting, clean, great view of the screen on all places!
Loved seeing K12 ♡
This movie theater Provides discount for students even though I’m the student from California. There are many rooms so it’s easy to get seat even when the hot movie like Captain Marvel coming out. Glad I watched this movie here rather than at California
Doesn't have the fancy recliners. Snack bar is really far away from most of the theaters.
My first movie theater experience in the States and it was really great. Plenty screens, many seats available at last minute, so many options of shows to choose from. Great infrastructure and well maintained other than the upwards escalators not working. Looking forward to see the next one soon! Cheers!
Nice comfortable theater...nothing really special
Not the nicest of the AMC theaters that are around Boston, but still pretty good. It just appeared a little more run down and dirty that their theaters just outside of the city.
Nice theater but really, 20 minutes of trailers before I get to see the movie I came to see? Almost forgot why I was there.
Great deal for $5 movie Tuesdays, but 3 out of 4 self service kiosks were down or crashed, thus causing large lines everywhere, took 25 mins to get tickets when it would've taken less than 5 if all the kiosks worked. Otherwise wonderful theater, been going forever
No reclining seats, bathrooms dirty, customer service is horrible.

Inside of theaters and the bathrooms were clean so I had no problem with it
Great theater! Cool classic posters on the walls, decent seats and concessions, good location. No complaints!
Love the convenient location but could use an interior undate and needs to be strict on the seating areas outside the theater. If you're not waiting to see a movie or eating you need to move so others can wait or enjoy a snack from the concession stand. AMC is not a coffee shop people.
Theatre needs an update. Old seats, escalators we're broken had to walk up 3 flights on the those broken escalators. Popcorn all over the floors throughout the building even stuck in the escalator cracks. Definitely needs some work. This was my first time visiting this location.
Love this place. It's really close to the T, there are a lot of theaters inside, so you'll have many movies options to choose from;clean bathrooms, comfy seats, good snacks.
Really busy place where a lot of young adults go to watch latest movies. There are at lease 17 to 19 theatre's inside. The place is huge. Right by Boylston Green line Station and less than 5 minutes walk from Chinatown Orange-line station or Park Street station. The theatre is in a great location if early to do a little site seeing in downtown Boston. A additional benefit. There is a big vertical lit up billboard sign with the writing, " AMC Theatre " to easily find this theatre..
Great theaters. Good sound system. Parking is obviously very expensive in the area. So better take public transportation. It's nice that purchasing tickets online gets direct access to the movie without having to go through any queue. Setting is a bit complicated, though. As a first timer you may wanna arrive earlier to figure out what to do where.

We enjoyed the new Spider-Man movie in theatre 11. The screen and sound was good but the seats have something to be desired. Nothing special but comfortable enough to sit through the movie. Just not up to par to other newer AMC's. Very convenient parking at the ritz after 6pm. Close to other good food such as the Falafel King, great food. Easy to have s good time for the family or friends. The value was decent.
The place is clean and big, restrooms are well kept too, however, the workers insisted we used the kiosk to buy tickets and it took longer due to the machines not working properly. I’m all for technology when it works, so hope they figured it out or at least always have willing cashiers to sell tickets as well not just direct you to a machine.
Just relaxing and nice when you are watching a movie
Saw 3 movies here. All the screens were good. Didn't have any distractions throughout. Great place to watch movies!
Great movie theater. My main issue is that the toilet sensors in the women's bathroom don't work. So people will leave the bathroom assuming that the toilet flushes on the way out. And it doesn't. And then they leave their feces or urine in the toilet.
The seats for this movie theater aren't as nice as the ones at assembly and braintree but the staff is nice and the location Is as convenient as it gets.
We went to see a children's movie in 3D, and they apparently only had adult sized glasses. This I only found out when the attendant who took my ticket rudely mumbled "we only have adult." We should of just waited to watch it at home. Let this industry die.
Has assigned seating, but most all good theaters do now as well so that's not the big draw it once was. The seats aren't in super good shape and they never seem to get the environment set right, it's either like winter or like walking into a swamp.
Not too bad just look out for people trying to pirate movies and report it. Look out for creepy people as well.
Great multiplex, but seats not arranged properly for IMAX screen. There is is bar rail for corner seat's view
Doesn't have those nice reclining seats, so there are definitely better options out there
Inside of theaters and the bathrooms were clean so I had no problem with it
First of all I am 15 years old!!! Second of all my opinion matters so listen up!!! I would leave -5 stars if i could. Reasons why: Let's start with the staff. TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD, ATTITUDE. I got ready and dressed up to see my movie and i was denied access. The staff and the manager ZEKE did not let me see my movie and they refused to give a refund. I RECOMMEND GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!! #firezeke

Last time I was there a mouse ran on my foot never went back

Just damn cold !
Beautiful theater in downtown Boston. Multiple floors. Free refills on drinks. A bar next to where you order food. Multiple floors. Huge theaters. Clean place. Friendly, approachable staff. I had a great time here! Id definitely come back when I'm in town again.
Looking forward to seeing a movie for 15 dollars
Loved seeing K12 ♡
Good theatre, most of the movies released by Hollywood, Bollywood, China, etc are released ay this cinema too. The A member is a good way to save money, you have access to three movies every week on any AMC that you go. The cine is comfortable, good food and really close to the green line and red line of trains and orange line of subway.
Saw Avengers End Game there...simply the best!
It's a very standard movie theater experience. The concessions are overpriced, but they have a simple online ticket reservation system, and inside the facility.
I took my girlfriend here on a date. Entering the building, there was trash and food (mainly popcorn) everywhere. The floor was sticky from spilled sodas. Trash cans were overflowing and there were no employees to be seen except for at the ticket counter. We proceeded against our good sense to go upstairs towards the designated theater. That's when we saw them. The rats scurried across the snack bar on the second floor. Popcorn and soda? Hard pass. We thought it was going to be an isolated issue and sat down for our movie. After the previews, when the lights went out, the rats came out. They could be seen climbing theater walls, and running across the floor. My girlfriend sat through the entire movie squealing with her feet up because they were running over our feet. Worst 30+ dollars spent. We now will forever call this place "The Rat Theater".
Only giving this a star because it's impossible to give 0 stars. It is conveniently located, but everything else was a problem. We had to leave because I was being harrassed. I would have gotten my money back, but there was an elderly member in the party and a young child.
Parking is tough to come by. Popcorn was on the salty side, but fresh. Movie was clear and brilliant. Sound was a little too loud. Seats were comfortable and clean.
We wound up at the Loews Theatre in Boston because it was the only place that was showing our movie if choice in IMAX the second week it was out. We wouldn't have chosen to come here but that being said, we loved it. Spacious seats (ours did not recline), huge screen, great sound and a gorgeous old theatre. We thought it would be run down but it was not. Parking from the Boston Common garage was a short walk less than five minutes away. Great experience and maybe now we'd choose to come here!
Always have a great time here
Great! The food is pretty good, for a movie theater. They don't have the fancy reclining seats in all the theaters, but they're still comfortable. The theater I wan in was IMAX, and it was a great viewing experience. Definitely reccomend!
Not the nicest of the AMC theaters that are around Boston, but still pretty good. It just appeared a little more run down and dirty that their theaters just outside of the city.
Giant movie theater. IMAX is great here. The seats are comfortable, though they are not the nice recliner seats.
One of the best movie theaters I have been to.
Always in some state of decay. Shout-out to the staff, though, they're great.
I'm an Alist member and this is my theatre. Love location, number of screens and staff is friendly. Loses 2 stars because it is falling apart. 3 weeks with no up escalator (was working when I left tonight), toilets are a mess and I'm guessing more a plumbing issue than a patron one since I generally go to early shows on weekdays. Just makes me concerned about its business.
Comfortable seats and good selection of both movies and showtimes. Could use more restroom stalls though.
Nice place I recommend
It is not the experience of the Icon theater in the seaport, but they now offer reserved seating and " artisan films. " Used to have an employee who gave wonderful customer service, but he was the only one.
Nice theater but really, 20 minutes of trailers before I get to see the movie I came to see? Almost forgot why I was there.
This was a neat movie theater. Two stories and easy self service kiosks. Great location.
Very nice facilities, but hard to find parking
Got here early so killed some time at the bar. Loved the drink there, Tito's Tide pool I think it was called. The Coca cola mix machines are great too since they give you a ton of flavors to choose from for soda. 3D experience was fun.
Great place for great movie and close to Boston common, where you could have a nice walk if arrive early.
My favorite movie theatre, I grew up in Boston spending a day at the Commons and seeing a movie once a month. Lots of fond memories here, though most of the screenings are not air conditioned.
I enjoy every trip, I feel like a member of a team.
Good theater, a lot of screens and all the movies on release get played here. However, the facilities need to be cleaned up. The seats, bathrooms are filthy!
Great movie theater with great options. As well as an amazing screen 8th grade seating arrangement, in all it is a great movie theater.
Right in the Downtown Boston area. Great view from the 2nd floor reception & concession area.
Honestly, not a great theater. Yeah it is super convenient and has rustic charm, and showtimes are almost never sold out, but it is also just old. The seats in many of the theaters are uncomfortable and the whole place smells kinda weird.
Convenient location and clean new theater seats. Great sound and picture quality. They have a bar and average theater food selection on the top floor
I enjoyed my movie experience here. The location is in the heart of the city. Lots of great dining and bar options nearby. It’s a large theater with lots of viewing options. The theater seats don’t have to be reserved ahead of time and are comfortable, although they don’t recline.
This place needs to be gutted and redone. Old ripped seats and everything smells mouldy.
I always have fast service and the employees are really nice. The theaters themselves are up to modern AMC standards. Comfortable chairs, although not the extra large ones available in some theaters. Overall I'm very happy with this location and will continue to see movies there
One of my favorite AMC theaters.... Always good service and concessions. Always a lot of talking and phone use during movies though
Nice location, friendly staff. No recliner seats here though...
The area is spacious and equipped with few tabled and chairs. Could be nicer if there is wifi here. As for the theater, none of showing rooms have recliners, which is unfortunate given how much you are paying. However sound and movie quality are decent, and the bathrooms seem clean.
Nice theater. I prefer the Regal. It's pretty basic, but reasonably clean. Overpriced concessions, but that's all part of the experience. The staff at the concessions are always engaging and friendly.
Pretty nice and large movie theater. The only odd part is that they have no movie ticket attendants. They use machine kiosks and touch screens to facilitate purchases. It’s a bit unnerving thinking that that AMC has found a way for machines to do this and it’s only a matter of time before they use machines to replace the people pouring your drinks and popcorn. Regardless, it’s a pretty large movie theater with great views of the Commons.
This movie theater Provides discount for students even though I’m the student from California. There are many rooms so it’s easy to get seat even when the hot movie like Captain Marvel coming out. Glad I watched this movie here rather than at California
Very nice place for movies with friend! Comfort sitting, clean, great view of the screen on all places!
A very nice place with a good staff
Love the movies we went to see ?
Large movie screens with good audio and new release options to watch.
Nice theater to go see a movie at in the city. Cool interior with a classic feel to it. Theaters are clean, staff is friendly and courteous. Ticket prices are a little expensive, recommend going on Tuesdays for the discount.
Love the convenient location but could use an interior undate and needs to be strict on the seating areas outside the theater. If you're not waiting to see a movie or eating you need to move so others can wait or enjoy a snack from the concession stand. AMC is not a coffee shop people.
Munchkin and I had the time of our lives. Staff was nice and respectful.
As old as it is. I always love this one from all the AMCs because of the location very near to the station, orange and green lines Infront of it is the park and there are abundance of coffes and resturants to kill some time until your movie starting time.
I love this theater. I have been coming here for 20+ years. Smells like fresh popcorn.
Awesome theater good show times but they should keep doors open longer for people who want last showing tickets 1030pms.
This theater is deplorable. I paid for my seat only to find the floor littered with trash. Security cleaned up the mess but on the wall near me was a vomit stain that was causing a reeking smell. I ended up switching seats. It's a shame that this place is so dirty and nasty because it's the only movie theater in town and it's convenient.
This is a great location to catch a movie. This is located in the heart of Boston and is located right in front of the train. Overall, they have a good selection of movies and have plenty of showtimes. If you are interested, they also offer many Chinese movies.
You have to arrive so early for any movie just to ensure you can get in on time. It’s a great theater and great location, but very understaffed and long lines for everything. From the time I walked in, bought a ticket, attempted to get popcorn(but they ran out) it took 30 minutes! I was popcornless and almost missed the start of the movie. This seems to be a recurring theme at this location.
While this theater was once-great by the standards of a by-gone era, it was deteriorated into a state of shoddiness. The elevator feels like a death trap and hardly works properly (buttons dont light up, etc), toilets are often out-of-service, and the staff is often unfriendly and without any sense of priority or customer service, save for the still-wonderful front ticket staff who demonstrate customer service excellence. The IMAX screen is terrible, barely larger than the normal movie theater screen. It is nothing compared to Providence Place, which is a National Amusements theater, which is a worse chain than AMC. AMC: You inhabit prime real estate, take advantage of it and revamp this once-great venue.
Meh. Auditorium was large, but the screen was small. Lots of foot traffic means that restrooms are dirtier than AMC corporate would probably like. Could feel classy, but falls short.
One of my best longest (40 years) friends and I go here for iMax movies. The seats are comfy, the screens are big, the sound is good. The floors aren't sticky. The projectionist crew is a bit slack. As everywhere, tix and concessions are sky high. So overall, with the good 3d facilities, it's above average especially for f/x movies.
AMC double-booked our seats. Both parties used the AMC website. The other party chose to give my party the seats, but I hope AMC refunded their tickets and granted them tickets to another showing at a discount. Beyond transaction security, this should be the most important feature to not screw up in theater booking tech.
Great location. Good theatre. They need to combine the alcohol service so waiting in two lines is not required.
Good movies and nice place. It is trashed by the people watching movies though and it is hard to keep it clean. My shoes will be sticky after walking out.
Still best place to go. It's not so crowded ,it's a big place
I stood in line on a slow Thursday night to buy soda and popcorn. After hardly moving up after 10 minutes, I gave up as I didn't want to miss the start of the movie. I've never seen a movie concession line move this slow.
Clean, decent, pretty reliable theater. Easily accessible, current showings and calm crowd. But almost ALWAYS packed since it's the only decent theater in the area and no one ever has anything else to do.
Cool and fun for kids
updated review - from *** to * ----- The place has gotten worse recently. Dirty theater, from the entrance to the theaters themselves (they don't seem to be cleaned between sessions). I don't even talk about the bathrooms. To add to that, the kids working there seem demotivated and it reflects on the entire experience. It is my neighborhood AMC and I really want to like it but they make it difficult. As an AMC member, I am at a point where I am thinking about either driving to another AMC - but what a drag - or simply canceling my subscription. You got the point: for a nice movie experience, I would not recommend this theater :( ----- The location of this AMC is perfect, in the middle of Boston, but boy! what an old dusty place compared to the other AMCs in the area. It was probably designed in the 80s and never renovated (the food counter is the best example). The featured movies could be more diverse and I don't always agree with their program (sometimes very political or religious). The theaters themselves are newer than the rest and offer a quite nice experience (but again, not as nice as other AMC theaters in the area). They also have a 3D and an iMax theaters. So the location is really what makes me continue to go to this AMC but I warmly recommend them to renovate the place soon.
I love AMC theaters, but haven't been to this location before, only suburban locations to the north. It was pretty trashed. There was food and other stuff all over the floor. The seats where we sat were not recliner-style. They could lean back, but then they would crush the knees of the person behind you. As a taller person, I also found my own knees getting smashed. There is no connected parking. Boston Common parking is very convenient to this location.
Definitely improved this place but I believe they still don't have reclining seats which basically makes the whole experience second hand in my opinion
Good theatre. The seats are ok but it could be better. The A-List subscription is really worth it.
It's a mess upstairs sometimes. But also it's a pretty nice theater, and it's really convenient.
Very very nice movie
I can't believe this movie theater is in the heart of Boston. It is ridiculously understaffed. Nobody cleans the floors, there was only one concession register opened (with a huge line) during a sold out show. We came for a 3D show and nobody bothered letting us know that the glasses are at the entrance, so I had to walk all the way from the auditorium to get some. There's also no designated parking, but at least that is understandable. Be prepared to spend more if you decide to drive to this theater.
It was pretty good. Clean and stuff. There was a fire during my film but that was handled in like 30 minutes. I guess I should be writing a review for the Boston fire department
I love this place because I love movies, and this is where they keep them. More importantly, matinees are only $7.09, so an early weekend showing(before noon), saves you money AND the hassle of a packed theater! .I'm there at least once a week, and the place is always clean and the staff is always helpful/friendly. Went to see the new Spiderman movie, had a blast. My partner was gifted a free movie ticket and drink/popcorn set, and I got $7 off of a ticket purchased on the Atom movie ticket app, so we spent $9 in total for the movie for two, popcorn, and a drink, which was an absolute steal, especially seeing the movie at almost 10pm. The staff was friendly and very helpful, and the theatre building itself was gorgeous and easily navigated, with comfy seats and more than enough room to fully relax for our movie. Can't wait to go back!
Very clean.. great movies.. popcorn was not too hard great family oriented place.
Nice comfortable theater...nothing really special
Its a nice theater. Seats are comfortable. The chairs and nice, spacious, and comfy. They are all in good shape too. The theater rooms are quite big as well. I love how they serve everything too. Sound quality is good.
Huge place! Clean & good quality seats & sound.
Love this place. It's really close to the T, there are a lot of theaters inside, so you'll have many movies options to choose from;clean bathrooms, comfy seats, good snacks.
Not many people. You enter easy. Good price
Great theater! Cool classic posters on the walls, decent seats and concessions, good location. No complaints!
Nice theater. Has the classic bucket seats and the screens are on the small side, but it definitely feels like a throw back to the theaters of my youth. I would hope they would update the seats (probably can't due to space) but keep the cool aesthetic that makes it stand out.
Its got the best experience when it comes to movies
The best experience! Imax 3d was life!
Overall good location and showrooms; concessions don’t have enough employees and some food items are missing, also is pretty darn expensive
Beautiful spot, easily accessible location, friendly staff. They could use some practice handling pre-screen events, but over all, a very positive experience.
Generally a good theater with no problems. But nothing exceptional for the money.
One of the best move theaters in Boston! Right on the commons and perfect location for city living.
Came on a Friday to watch Jordan Peeles US. Great amenities, the sound was so vibrant I felt transported to another place. The check-in was hassle free. The tickets were a bit pricey ($20 per) compared to some other similarly amenitized theatres, but I guess it's the Boston premium. I arrived early, had plenty of time to sit around. True to schedule, the movie started ten minutes into the scheduled time. The seats were comfy, great image even though i sat too close to the front.
Love this place lots of cool things to see while walking to your movie old posters and stuff
Large cinema. Many movie options. I wish they had the reclining seats like other AMC theaters do. The seats are still comfortable though.
Very clean.. great movies.. popcorn was not too hard great family oriented place.

Nice place. I’m new to the Boston area and wanted to watch a movie. The location is convenient as it is right off one of the green line stations. Didn’t interact with any personal. Very clean restrooms, nice and spacious seating, good sound and video quality.

The seats for this movie theater aren't as nice as the ones at assembly and braintree but the staff is nice and the location Is as convenient as it gets.
Clean, decent, pretty reliable theater. Easily accessible, current showings and calm crowd. But almost ALWAYS packed since it's the only decent theater in the area and no one ever has anything else to do.
I stood in line on a slow Thursday night to buy soda and popcorn. After hardly moving up after 10 minutes, I gave up as I didn't want to miss the start of the movie. I've never seen a movie concession line move this slow.
Nice theater. Has the classic bucket seats and the screens are on the small side, but it definitely feels like a throw back to the theaters of my youth. I would hope they would update the seats (probably can't due to space) but keep the cool aesthetic that makes it stand out.
Everything but 2 issues was correct. Was forced to sit under screen, don't understand whether people brought online or in person to this particular theater and whether to buy in advance online. The other issue it is advertised as reclining seats not true just rocked at south bay area

We went to see a children's movie in 3D, and they apparently only had adult sized glasses. This I only found out when the attendant who took my ticket rudely mumbled "we only have adult." We should of just waited to watch it at home. Let this industry die.
Came here to see the Joker movie and It was a total great experience. glad we were able to get thinks. Seems like a lot of places were sold out. happy we got to see it
Easy location, but not as comfortable as some of the theaters that AMC has

Saw the Joker here last night and it was freaking amazing! I left here speechless. The film was amazing it was like watch art
Nice theater to go see a movie at in the city. Cool interior with a classic feel to it. Theaters are clean, staff is friendly and courteous. Ticket prices are a little expensive, recommend going on Tuesdays for the discount.
Don’t go to this place if you are stubs. No dolby and no priority on lines at all. Seats are to close to each other.

The best experience! Imax 3d was life!
The Theatre was very comfortable. The employees were very helpful giving directions.
Beautiful theater in downtown Boston. Multiple floors. Free refills on drinks. A bar next to where you order food. Multiple floors. Huge theaters. Clean place. Friendly, approachable staff. I had a great time here! Id definitely come back when I'm in town again.
Has assigned seating, but most all good theaters do now as well so that's not the big draw it once was. The seats aren't in super good shape and they never seem to get the environment set right, it's either like winter or like walking into a swamp.
Its a nice theater. Seats are comfortable. The chairs and nice, spacious, and comfy. They are all in good shape too. The theater rooms are quite big as well. I love how they serve everything too. Sound quality is good.
Great place for great movie and close to Boston common, where you could have a nice walk if arrive early.
Honestly, not a great theater. Yeah it is super convenient and has rustic charm, and showtimes are almost never sold out, but it is also just old. The seats in many of the theaters are uncomfortable and the whole place smells kinda weird.
There's no week without a movie. AMC Loews is the best place to spend your time. It's a cinema, what do you expect? Very clean and very good service. Remember to subscribe AMC A list for the best perk!
Clean facilities. Good theatre and food options Would recommend

Awesome theater good show times but they should keep doors open longer for people who want last showing tickets 1030pms.
Great movie theater. My main issue is that the toilet sensors in the women's bathroom don't work. So people will leave the bathroom assuming that the toilet flushes on the way out. And it doesn't. And then they leave their feces or urine in the toilet.
Large movie screens with good audio and new release options to watch.
One of my favorite AMC theaters.... Always good service and concessions. Always a lot of talking and phone use during movies though
Great date night spot. Awesome bartenders, just wish they had a better selection of draft beer.

This is probably the dirtiest theater I have ever been in. There is trash everywhere. I have never seen an escalator that was so disgusting, probably the reason or was out of service. I guess I should not have been surprised how gross the bathroom was.

This theater is very big and this review is more for just the IMAX then the theater itself, Walking into it I was disappointed if i’m honest. From the several IMAX theaters Iv been too this one looked the most outdated. The sound quality was good but just that, good. For what you pay in ticket prices, parking, and even just the simple fact that this place is in boston your expectation is that the theater is going to be at least up to date. I enjoyed the movie but I would personally not pay the extra money for the IMAX and would never recommend this theater if your going just for that. If your already in boston common and your looking for more stuff to do then I would go to a regular movie, do yourself a favor for you and your wallet and don’t pay the extra for the IMAX, there are others that are worth the money.

Saw Avengers End Game there...simply the best!
Always a good experience, lots of nice restaurants around tbe area if u do t wanna buy just movie snacks.

Great location. Good theatre. They need to combine the alcohol service so waiting in two lines is not required.
Easy access by trolley to Boylston Station

It was pretty good. Clean and stuff. There was a fire during my film but that was handled in like 30 minutes. I guess I should be writing a review for the Boston fire department
Its got the best experience when it comes to movies
I always have fast service and the employees are really nice. The theaters themselves are up to modern AMC standards. Comfortable chairs, although not the extra large ones available in some theaters. Overall I'm very happy with this location and will continue to see movies there
Super spacious and always well-staffed (as in number, not so much quality but they still do their best). They always have the newest movies and usually have enough seating for them to since there are "usually" multiple screenings for new movies at the same time. Food isn't AS expensive as some other places I've been to. Overall, it's not too dirty and is a nice place to hit up around the area to watch a simple movie.

This was a neat movie theater. Two stories and easy self service kiosks. Great location.
Great experience with my cousin and sister. Comfortable seats and great arcade games. Staff is super nice as well. Amazing theater.
Only giving this a star because it's impossible to give 0 stars. It is conveniently located, but everything else was a problem. We had to leave because I was being harrassed. I would have gotten my money back, but there was an elderly member in the party and a young child.
10 large screens. Close to plenty of bars and dining options. The movie theater is alright and appears to be well managed. The movie selection is pretty standard though they have the tendency to show good movies longer than other theaters.

This place is like my second home. The staff is always friendly, the theaters are clean, and it's in a perfect central location. My only wish is that this theater would improve upon its IMAX movie projection practices. The IMAX theaters are very nice, but I've now been to three screenings where the projection was very out of focus and never corrected. On one unfortunate occasion, they projected a 3D movie during a 2D time slot. No one had glasses. Just need to take a little more care with your premium offerings!

Beautiful place, clean and comfortable.I didn't give 5 stars because I couldn't eat the popcorn I purchased because it was not eatable, extremely salty!!!!

This place needs to be gutted and redone. Old ripped seats and everything smells mouldy.
Right in the Downtown Boston area. Great view from the 2nd floor reception & concession area.
Theaters and hallways are generally quite clean. The only problem is that there are occasionally some crazy people or others who either make a lot of noise or even yell in the theater. It would be good if there was more policing of this but I know that it's hard

Good theater, a lot of screens and all the movies on release get played here. However, the facilities need to be cleaned up. The seats, bathrooms are filthy!
I had a Great Time!
It's a great place to go and relax to watch movies with the family or even alone. The staff are very friendly and very nice

Great theatre! Only issue was that the bathrooms were disgusting- which was surprising because they only let you in the bathroom if you have a ticket.

It is not the experience of the Icon theater in the seaport, but they now offer reserved seating and " artisan films. " Used to have an employee who gave wonderful customer service, but he was the only one.
Nice movie theater across the street from the park.
Can't beat AMC discount Tuesdays. This complex is always clean with helpful staff to guide you to the correct theater! You cannot beat it in terms of accessibility - steps away from the Boylston stop on the Green Line and near tons of fabulous restaurants.

In terms of a downtown crossing movie theater - this place lacks the "premium" elements present at other AMC locations. there is no Dolby theater here as opposed to the Fenway location, and the picture quality and sound is less impressive than Dolby or ICONx theaters. IMAX is a relic of the past - truly do yourself a favor and visit a an AMC dolby theater. if you're actually paying a premium price and patronizing any theater you should expect an amazing experience. for now: if you want to watch an amazing movie on a subpar screen - watch at home. If you want to watch at a theater - go to Fenway or the Icon theater in Seaport.

The location is nice, and the staff are friendly. This place is good for watching the hotly anticipated movies, such as Endgame and other films are and were. Watching a movie at AMC is also made easier through their rewards program, which for about 25 dollars per month, you can watch 3 movies per week (non-premier).

Always have a great time here
Good movies and nice place. It is trashed by the people watching movies though and it is hard to keep it clean. My shoes will be sticky after walking out.
Huge, beautiful theater complex. The seats are getting a little warn out, but otherwise pretty good.

This AMC was a bit dirty all over including the escalator. The cashier had a hard time ringing up candy and then shut the drawer before my change. Also, more expensive than California for a mid day movie(I didn't think that was possible) But we did enjoy the movie.
Generally a good theater with no problems. But nothing exceptional for the money.
Love the movies we went to see ?
Overall good location and showrooms; concessions don’t have enough employees and some food items are missing, also is pretty darn expensive
One staff person at weekday 3pm Many who don't use/want to use kiosks. We had passes....no one seemed to know what to do with those. The one staff person was handing out some device to the young guests. No one seemed to know what was going on with those. A second staff person darted behind the counter and into a door at the other end. Lastly, There is NO (NONE) seating available in the lobby. This is what I hope is an obvious problem re elderly, disabled, whatever.

Not too bad just look out for people trying to pirate movies and report it. Look out for creepy people as well.
Got here early so killed some time at the bar. Loved the drink there, Tito's Tide pool I think it was called. The Coca cola mix machines are great too since they give you a ton of flavors to choose from for soda. 3D experience was fun.
As old as it is. I always love this one from all the AMCs because of the location very near to the station, orange and green lines Infront of it is the park and there are abundance of coffes and resturants to kill some time until your movie starting time.
Comfortable seats and good selection of both movies and showtimes. Could use more restroom stalls though.
Doesn't have those nice reclining seats, so there are definitely better options out there
Beautiful spot, easily accessible location, friendly staff. They could use some practice handling pre-screen events, but over all, a very positive experience.
Nice theater right by the common and close to Public transportation.

Great multiplex, but seats not arranged properly for IMAX screen. There is is bar rail for corner seat's view
Huge place! Clean & good quality seats & sound.
My favorite movie theatre, I grew up in Boston spending a day at the Commons and seeing a movie once a month. Lots of fond memories here, though most of the screenings are not air conditioned.
Large cinema. Many movie options. I wish they had the reclining seats like other AMC theaters do. The seats are still comfortable though.
Very very nice movie
Easy access from T. Consistent experience. Bar and decent movie food/snack options

updated review - from *** to * ----- The place has gotten worse recently.
A very nice place with a good staff
Usually only ratchet people yelling in the theater is why I gave this theater a 4 star rating. Other than that. Great location.

Huge but old. Seatings should be renovated. Food choices to be expanded. Good video and audio quality.

Meh. Auditorium was large, but the screen was small. Lots of foot traffic means that restrooms are dirtier than AMC corporate would probably like. Could feel classy, but falls short.
Just damn cold !
Great movie theater with great options. As well as an amazing screen 8th grade seating arrangement, in all it is a great movie theater.
Amazing went to see avengers endgame with my boyfriend and had fun

This theater is deplorable. I paid for my seat only to find the floor littered with trash. Security cleaned up the mess but on the wall near me was a vomit stain that was causing a reeking smell. I ended up switching seats. It's a shame that this place is so dirty and nasty because it's the only movie theater in town and it's convenient.
Goodplace to catch a documentary or regular movie. Seats need to be updated, but other than that its in a great spot.

One of the best movie theaters I have been to.
Always a great time. Clean theaters. Clean bathrooms. Good food. Lots of movie choices. Friendly and helpful staff.
Last time I was there a mouse ran on my foot never went back
Great! The food is pretty good, for a movie theater. They don't have the fancy reclining seats in all the theaters, but they're still comfortable. The theater I wan in was IMAX, and it was a great viewing experience. Definitely reccomend!
