We saw Noah at Regal Snowden Columbia, and the previews were very inspiring - especially the history of Sight & Sound theatre. These previews are sorely needed for your final showing this week, April 13th. I hope they will be added. Also, there was a technical problem in our theatre 8, and the previews and movie didn't start on time. I had to ask twice if someone could check. Thank you for getting the show going for us. We loved it!

Terrible customer service. We ordered and paid for several drinks and a large bucket of popcorn that our family could share. We then requested an extra bucket or even a plastic top from the nachos so that we could pour some of the popcorn in it to pass to the kids. We were told no and when asked why they said that it was “against their policy”.... I asked to speak to a manager and he said the same thing. When I asked for his boss’s information to discuss it further, the manager refused. I think it’s sad that customer service is such a rarity these days. Would it really have killed them to give us an extra bucket, bag, or plastic top? We just paid about $80 for tickets and refreshments yet they couldn’t spare an extra cardboard or paper something which probably costs $.05?

This is a nice movie theater inside. Clean and kept well. Picture quality and sounds are good. Ticket prices fair. Seating was comfortable. However, it stays crowded even during matinees. Two of the self check machines were down and the consession stands were very long. The cashiers all looked tired and worn from the crowds. Some of them mixed up orders or lacked attention. For instance, a young man forgot to give me my change when I paid with a large bill. When I looked over to my left, another cashier was struggling to get someone else's order right. A little more attentiveness and enthusiasm would have made waiting in a long line worth it. Also, fix the self check machines.

I enjoy going to watch movies here. Seats can be a bit cramped but still provides a good experience. When using my Atom movie app I'm able to pick up my concessions in a "Fast Lane" which bypasses all other lines and allows a swift entry to the theatre.

This place is a daycare! Parents just drop their kids off & expect the movie to keep them under control. You can’t even enjoy the movie because the children are making out, being loud, & constantly in & out the theater. The staff have to do better as well, parents should be with the children but the staff shouldn’t be letting them in 17 & older movies. It’s annoying & I’ll never go back

I would post 0 stars if I could! Yesterday Regal Cinemas in Waugh Chapel turned away a group of children from Mayo Beach Adaptive Camp with varying abilities because they were a “liability to be seated with the general public.” Not only is this a violation of Title III of the ADA, which PROHIBITS public accommodations from discriminating against individuals with disabilities. 42 U.S.C. 12182(a). But I would also like an explanation as to why it is your company policy to discriminate against these heartbroken, exceptional children. I hope this gets resolved soon!

I LOVE THIS THEATER. They've extended their matinee hours to later in the afternoon. They keep the theater immaculately clean at all times. The seats are extremely comfortable black leather recliners. They make sure to have a large number of showtimes for any big new movie so there's a great chance that you're able to find a time that fits your schedule. The viewing options are great too. They have IMAX and 3D IMAX options too always available. Definitely check this theater out if you haven't already.

This is the best movie theater in Anne Arundel county currently. IMAX, and sound systems are great and seats are comfortable with a good amount of space. Serves typical theater food at the normal inflated movie prices. Staff was good, and bathrooms were clean.

Took my daughter to see Lion King. They had the movie in 5 theaters at once. Pretty much the only thing out right now. I guess they didnt expect a big crowd so that's why they only had three concession lives open and two vacant. Plus one of the employees was sweeping behind the counter and then flipped the popcorn without washing his hand first. I really dont blame the employees, but management and and corporate for letting it get like this. The theather was losing money because theaters only get maybe 5 or 10 percent of the ticket revenue, but all of the snack money. Cant make snack money if people have to come an hour early to the movie s just to get a tub of popcorn

Went to see a movie last night with my son, I realize it was a busy Saturday night, but, popcorn all over the floor, trash on the floors in the restroom, young man took our order at concession area, he looked as miserable just being there , as he acted. I'll be going elsewhere to see a movie from now on.

We have been going to this theater since it opened a few years ago. We never had a negative experience there, but my own experience is not the reason for this 1 star. Earlier week, in the midst of the hottest days we have had all summer, this Regal theater refused admittance to a group of campers from our county recs and parks, the Adaptive Camp at Mayo. Tickets were purchased in advance, to keep this group of kids and counselors safe and protected and yet when they arrived, expecting to have an enjoyable experience out of the oppressive heat, they were turned away - for ludicrous ‘reasons’. First it was supposedly due to having oversold the movie. What?? Really??? Then, when the camp director offered to pay full price for their already-paid-for tickets, they were then told it was a ‘liability’ issue. Are you kidding, Regal??? Clearly not or you wouldn’t be under a wave of negativity right now. You have ZERO legs to stand on, in either excuse. I encourage you to make this right, Regal. Your decision to refuse service to this group, well over 100 children, well over 100 families have been impacted by your unacceptable insensitivity and your staff at this location, as well as your corporate managers should be downright ashamed of themselves for this incident. At the very least, you absolutely owe that staff and campers from Camp Mayo, the families of this campers as well as the citizens of Anne Arundel County a huge apology. At.the.very.least. Until that happens, I will BDN taking my business elsewhere. For readers of this review, I encourage you, if you are as appalled as I am this this happened here, to also stand with those of us who will not tolerate this type of INtolerence and boycott this Regal theater till the right thing is done and they make right the wrong they did to this amazing group of kids.

Went to movies recently, the audio and sound was not working for the previews. I found out that the sound doesn’t work not until the actual movie start. Several of us complained. Management took forever to respond. It was very disorganized and out of line. We will not be going back until this matter be solved

Listen people. I run a high school club FOR special ed kids. We’ve always prepared for a trip to the movies (with 35 special ed kids) by buying our tickets EARLY and showing up ON TIME. If camp counselors take their campers LATE && with NO THEATRE RESERVATION, how is the staff suppose to accommodate 140 people?!?? Oh right, they can’t. So before you start hating on the staff that was only providing a service for people who were PREPARED, get the whole story. If you need more advice on how to run an efficient movie trip let me know. The first tip I’ll give you is BE ON TIME!!!!

The seats inside the theater are very comfortable. They still have some work to do to get the mobile ticket scanning to work well. Took much longer than when they just took your ticket. The bathrooms were dirty and smelled bad. The lobby is modern and pretty.

0 stars if I could. You’re a business required to accommodate patrons with disabilities under tittle III of the ADA. “Liability” is a lame excuse when regal undoubtedly carries millions in liability insurance. This is insane and illegal. I’ll be boycotting all regal theaters until this situation is resolved. You should offer all of those kids free movies, and you better figure out something special to do for that camp.

this is a nice complex this theater is in. I've had to return tickets sue to plans changing and they never give me issues . lines are never held up. theater is clean . bathroom is clean . one time had a guy laser pointer messing around and the theater staff set them straight real quick. so they take care any concerns people may have. the tocket staff is nice and quick as well. only thing that is inconvenient is to purchase tickets the booth is outside. not too bright considering is cold here most of the year.

Average movie theater. Main attraction is the IMAX theater. My wife and I saw Endgame in there, but unfortunately the seats were Horribly Uncomfortable!! Very small "arcade" area of to the side with maybe 3 or 4 racing games and that's it. It's nothing special. Somewhat outdated decor and no reclining seats (at least in the IMAX theater).

The theater is fine, it's clean and looks like a standard movie theater, no issues there. They have IMAX screens that play both regular and 3d IMAX movies which has spoiled me lol. I really enjoy the theater overall, the reason for the 3 stars is the concession at this theater is terrible. There have been multiple situations when I'm stuck in one of their lines for over 10 minutes. This weekend it took me 30 minutes to buy a popcorn, soda and candy. They really have to figure out a better way to make the concession experience better, maybe by having a cashier or 2 and then a helper who makes the order or have prescooped sizes of popcorn. I don't know what but something please! It takes away a ton from an overall great theater and a great experience.

Listen people. I run a high school club FOR special ed kids. We’ve always prepared for a trip to the movies (with 35 special ed kids) by buying our tickets EARLY and showing up ON TIME. If camp counselors take their campers LATE && with NO THEATRE RESERVATION, how is the staff suppose to accommodate 140 people?!?? Oh right, they can’t. So before you start hating on the staff that was only providing a service for people who were PREPARED, get the whole story. If you need more advice on how to run an efficient movie trip let me know. The first tip I’ll give you is BE ON TIME!!!!

The seats inside the theater are very comfortable. They still have some work to do to get the mobile ticket scanning to work well. Took much longer than when they just took your ticket. The bathrooms were dirty and smelled bad. The lobby is modern and pretty.

this is a nice complex this theater is in. I've had to return tickets sue to plans changing and they never give me issues . lines are never held up. theater is clean . bathroom is clean . one time had a guy laser pointer messing around and the theater staff set them straight real quick. so they take care any concerns people may have. the tocket staff is nice and quick as well. only thing that is inconvenient is to purchase tickets the booth is outside. not too bright considering is cold here most of the year.

Average movie theater. Main attraction is the IMAX theater. My wife and I saw Endgame in there, but unfortunately the seats were Horribly Uncomfortable!! Very small "arcade" area of to the side with maybe 3 or 4 racing games and that's it. It's nothing special. Somewhat outdated decor and no reclining seats (at least in the IMAX theater).

The theater is fine, it's clean and looks like a standard movie theater, no issues there. They have IMAX screens that play both regular and 3d IMAX movies which has spoiled me lol. I really enjoy the theater overall, the reason for the 3 stars is the concession at this theater is terrible. There have been multiple situations when I'm stuck in one of their lines for over 10 minutes. This weekend it took me 30 minutes to buy a popcorn, soda and candy. They really have to figure out a better way to make the concession experience better, maybe by having a cashier or 2 and then a helper who makes the order or have prescooped sizes of popcorn. I don't know what but something please! It takes away a ton from an overall great theater and a great experience.

Friendly staff, clean theater and snacks were adequate. The only complaint is the wait for the snacks. Lobby area was crowded and the lines long which had us waiting for 15 minutes just for a popcorn refill. The seats in the theater were comfortable and I will go back again despite the waiting in line. All in all a very pleasant experience.

This theatre needs to be updated with the reclining seats in order to justify the ticket prices, which are equivalent to other theaters with reclining seats! It recently upgraded its system so you can reserve your seat ahead of time, which is nice and appreciated. They also have a good amount of food options. However, it would be nice to be able to add your own butter to your popcorn since they never put enough on it. Lastly, their reward membership program is terrible compared to AMC, cinemark, etc.

Sunday 8/25 went with my son and his friend, reach 10 min before the movie start time 5:40. Only three person working in the food area, the lines was so long, take me 25 min to be help and get my order 2 pop corns and to sodas, 10 min early plus 15 min of previews still miss the beginning of the movie.

Was happy with the staff and the theatre was very clean inside. Sadly was not mad that the kiosk was outside to buy tickets or really anything customer service wise that gives it a 2 star. It was the fact that over half of the seats to choose from were blocked and that the wife and I were placed in the D16 17 seats on the far left bottom. 1 hour into the movie went to stand up and the theatre was still empty of customers. Why were the seats blocked for nobody to be using?

I enjoy this theater because the staff (managers) are very friendly and helpful. None of the staff ever feels like they are bothered. The theater is sometimes messy I think because they are short staffed but I can understand that. The seating is not the recliners yet but I hope they change that one day soon. Overall great place locally to watch your movies.

You can now reserve seats in the IMAX theaters, which simplifies the process even more and adds competition with some of the other theaters within a half hour drive. In general, the popcorn is fresh and delicious. The theaters are usually extremely clean and well-managed. The food is also usually very good and made-to-order, but the napkins/condiment station is tiny and can get pretty crowded.

So I went to see What Women Want this evening. The movie was great however I really needed something hot to drink as it was very cold out. This place had absolutely nothing. I only wanted coffee. No coffee at all. I asked about hot coco and they didn't have that either. I was just told "no we don't have any coffee or anything hot". Very disappointed

No cocktail bar, decent seats and average prices... What drops the rating is the fact you will wait an HOUR for a simple bag of popcorn. Smuggle in your own snacks and you’ll thank me later.

We saw Aquaman...great movie. But the theater and concessions need help. The concessions line were all slow and long. The reserved seating is nice. Witness a group being moved to their actual seats. Quote possibly the slowest concession stand ever - instead of having a ticket seller.. You buy tickets at the concession which slows down actual food sales. Our movie didn’t turn off the lights until 75% through the trailers after someone complained and doesn’t have ushers to regulate people TALKING the entire duration of a movie. I won’t be returning.

My husband and I go to the movies here occasionally. We enjoy this theater. The seats are comfortable and all of the employees we have interacted with here have been nice and helpful. We have enjoyed some of the concessions, including the popcorn and nachos. We just went last night to see Chris Robin. A wonderful movie about adult Chris rediscovering how to play and learning to stand up for what is most important in his life. So sweet. We also really enjoyed the Mr. Rogers movie, when it was out,...Won't You Be My Neighbor. I highly recommend both.

Very large movie theater, ticket line moves quickly as long it's not opening night of a movie, however the consession counter is another story even on a regular night. Plan to get there early to get through that line so you won't miss the beginning of the movie. The only other complaint is the bathrooms are a mess.

For people on here saying that the theater turned away a group of special need children on this past Tuesday because of a liability due to their handicap is completely false. What the theater said was “ALL SIX THEATERS ARE AT FULL CAPACITY and they did not have any other theaters showing the summer movie express movies. And it is a liability to put anyone in the theater and there are no seats left, what do you want them to sit on the floor??? The camp that brought the special need children got there AFTER the movie already started, it started at 10. So please get facts straight. No one would ever turn away those precious children. And if I had a complaint about the theater, it would be to add recliner seats. Now there. Have a great day and stop falsifying in the review. Thank you!!

For a friday night, it was amazingly short ticket line. We went and saw Wreck It Ralph 2 and the seating was good and clean. Short concession lines and actual buttered popcorn you dont have to butter your self. Great place to take the kids.

This theater is in good shape, although they do not have the new and improved recylning seats. The bathroom was also decent. However, they need additional staff. The concession line moved at a snails pace, took us nearly 30 minutes in get our popcorn and snacks. Also, the entrance/foyer and ramp to go to the theaters was covered in smashed popcorn and straw wrappers. An eye soar for sure.

Nothing was working to get the tickets had to go the food counter. This took a long time due to people purchasing food and getting your tickets.

For a friday night, it was amazingly short ticket line. We went and saw Wreck It Ralph 2 and the seating was good and clean. Short concession lines and actual buttered popcorn you dont have to butter your self. Great place to take the kids.

Movie theater was fine. Concessions line were long, very long. I missed the first 30 minutes of Spiderman waiting. I wasn't impatient just waited with the other customers. I would hope that the cashier wasn't also getting my popcorn and touching the money. Someone could get sick because of the germ transfer.
