This is my favorite theater for a reason. The people that work here are nice, thec seats are comfortable, and they have a good handle on lines (they kept us moving pretty quickly).

If I give this place a 5, I would be lying. It lacks in cashier at busy moments. Restrooms need to be kept up to maintenance and clean. Counters need to be cleaned as much as possible. This is a high paced job behind the counter, not a slow paced environment. The auditorium floor are sometimes slippery.

Went to go see Small Foot with my God-son, the seats have adjustable arm rest so getting a seat that was comfortable was easy. The ticket kiosk were functional and made purchase a snap. All and all a nice theater.

Generally, this is a pretty pleasurable Movie experience. The biggest negative is parking. There is a small garage next door which grants you an hour and a half to two hours for free. However even if a movie starts at 12, it doesn't actually start playing in 12:30 what with previews and commercials. So you really have to figure that in your time, and the end result is that you were going to end up paying for parking that they lower you in with as free. Please keep that in mind.

Had a 11:15pm Shazam showing on 4/7/19 and was denied entry by the security guard because the theater had closed after I showed up about 10 minutes late to skip the previews. The guard wouldn't even let me talk to a manager. Told me to come back the next day for a refund which is tough to do. I'm a big supporter of Regal and even have Diamond Crown Club status but might have to switch to using AMC after this.

So this was my 1st time visiting this theater and OMG I was blown away. This area is really improving and the theater was the added perk this community needed. With parking just outside the front door and a restaurants all around, this is a perfect spot for date night.

This is a really nice and spacious movie theater. Although its more convenient for me to to to Gallery Place, I will strongly consider making this location my main go too. Also, I was very pleased to hear that they offer discounted ticket and concession stand options. When a business establishment do this, it shows that they care about ALL there patrons, even the ones who belong to lower income classes. The most memorable moment of my customer inquiry experience was the outstanding, patient and personable service I received from Mohamed D. This young man is definitely on his way to the top. Regal Cinemas need to know how fortunate they are for having such a knowledgeable, courteous, authentic and dynamic team player. His people's skills are on 1000 to the tenth POWER!!! He is a great representation of a young, savvy black man presenting himself in a positive manner. Where are the news camera's at, when it comes time to capture moments like this one.

Great theatre. Nice folks. The keep our clean and buffed. They don't have the reclining seats, but the seats are comfortable, rock, and give you plenty of good leg room. It's easy to park and very close to some fabulous restaurants. Love this place!

Triflingest of trifling, I mean there was no sound or picture for 20 MINUTES, just a blank screen, and then they had the AUDACITY to start the movie in the middle as if we could see or hear what had happened before hand. I was disgusted, and if I'm being honest I want my money back i paid for the WHOLE movie, not the movie minus 20 min.

$6 movie Tuesday.. always a favorite for my son and me. Location dated on the inside, no reclining chairs. Very clean, concession a little slow; but all in all a good space. Parking is free for first two hours; but with previews and most movies, you'll end up paying $5 for parking in the garage. Will return.

Theatre is nice but feel that mgm. isn't great. Hate waiting in a line behind people getting food when I just want to get tickets. Yes sometimes when I want food and I have time I do get it. I know you are just trying to get $ but really can you have more than two at concession/ticket counter? have a designated ticket purchase person so I don't have to come 30 minutes before movie to allow for slow ticket purchasing?

In the case of this theater resist or come an hour early to get through the line in order to see your movie on time. Coming in the theater was fine. Even purchasing my tickets were great. But however the concession stand was backed up and we stood in line for 30 minutes. Then after that we waited for our food for and additional 25 minutes. Missing 35 minutes of the movie. My movie experience was not the best at all..

The seats are a bit uncomfortable I guess after going to AMC in Wheaton several times with the ones that recline, I had a hard time getting comfortable. I ran into a few customers that were disruptive. I heard like three different adults/parents using alot of profanity at their children which is one thing I can't stand!!!! I don't think I want to go back especially with my children.

One time i was walking there with a friend and this random drunk starting speed walking towards us and only stopped following us until we ran into a close store

This theater is my favorite for a low-key date night. The location is great because there are several casual dining options nearby. Peak times are weekends so if you're not fond of packed theaters just catch a weekday showing. The staff are pretty friendly and I've never had any service issues.

Terrible customer service. This movie theater will not get any business from me ever again. My school took our summer camp kids to see a $1 movie today. My co-worker called yesterday to verify. She was told the wrong information by one of the employees, as to the start time and movie showings for a $1. When we got there, we were told that the movie had already started, an hour earlier. The manager, Taylor was not helpful at all and basically said there was nothing she could do. She had an "I don't care" attitude. Wait a min, aren't you the manager?! So, I will be calling corporate and reporting this problem. They have no information posted in the theater about the $1 movies being shown at their theater.

Great location for people like me that live right up the street. A guy named Christopher is not only cute but has great customer service. The only negative are the loud mouths that come to watch movies. Didn't they use to have those guards that silenced people with their flash lights?

Been coming to this theater for years and have never had an issue. Adult tickets are $13, matinee is $11. They have regular seating which definitely needs to be updated to keep up with others but they aren't uncomfortable. I'm not sure if this location participates in $5 Tuesdays. Concession prices are ridiculous. Nice staff. Clean bathroom and theater house. The location is in a small town centre with a mall & metro station right across the street. A lot of eateries in the small town centre.

Love this theater dispite the fact they have not updated to recliners. The screens are large and the lobby spacious. Unfortunately the concession stand is slow and the popcorn is never hot. The theater is extremely clean and on Tuesdays all shows are $6.00 with your Regal club card.

Pricey, low quality seating, screen image is large and good, lines at the food counter are ridiculous and cashiers are extra super slow. If you do get food make sure to arrive a pretty good amount of time before your movie starts (especially on weekends, probably not on weekdays). Only Wheelchair seating is all the way at the bottom.

Where do I begin.... I purchase my tickets online and arrived more than 30 minutes early for my movie. I went straight to concessions for my usually popcorn, nachos and drink. I waited more than 30 minutes in line only to receive burnt popcorn, cold nacho cheese and only two selections of soda (which I do not like) and missed previews and about five minutes of the movie. This place is badly unorganized and this all happened on a weekend day at 4 pm.

I am very disappointed. My husband and I went in to see the 330 showing for Glass. Unfortunately due to several teenaged children being disruptive, I was not able to enjoy the movie. I would love to continue to patronize this location because it's close to my home but I'm having my doubts. Some things definitely need to change.

You cannot reach a human being at this theater by phone. Only voicemail hell at the central number. If they don’t understand you the computer hangs up on you. I wanted to know if they were open on this snow day. A computer can’t tell me that.

Great place to come where its first come, first served in getting good seats when a really good anticipated movie begins. No seat reservations which is a plus on movie premiere for last minute planning goers. Parking garages, is not free around here. Make sure when you get your parking card to get a discounted fee from regal theatre by the customer service area.

Terrible customer service. This movie theater will not get any business from me ever again. My school took our summer camp kids to see a $1 movie today. My co-worker called yesterday to verify. She was told the wrong information by one of the employees, as to the start time and movie showings for a $1. When we got there, we were told that the movie had already started, an hour earlier. The manager, Taylor was not helpful at all and basically said there was nothing she could do. She had an "I don't care" attitude. Wait a min, aren't you the manager?! So, I will be calling corporate and reporting this problem. They have no information posted in the theater about the $1 movies being shown at their theater.

Been coming to this theater for years and have never had an issue. Adult tickets are $13, matinee is $11. They have regular seating which definitely needs to be updated to keep up with others but they aren't uncomfortable. I'm not sure if this location participates in $5 Tuesdays. Concession prices are ridiculous. Nice staff. Clean bathroom and theater house. The location is in a small town centre with a mall & metro station right across the street. A lot of eateries in the small town centre.

Pricey, low quality seating, screen image is large and good, lines at the food counter are ridiculous and cashiers are extra super slow. If you do get food make sure to arrive a pretty good amount of time before your movie starts (especially on weekends, probably not on weekdays). Only Wheelchair seating is all the way at the bottom.

Where do I begin.... I purchase my tickets online and arrived more than 30 minutes early for my movie. I went straight to concessions for my usually popcorn, nachos and drink. I waited more than 30 minutes in line only to receive burnt popcorn, cold nacho cheese and only two selections of soda (which I do not like) and missed previews and about five minutes of the movie. This place is badly unorganized and this all happened on a weekend day at 4 pm.

I am very disappointed. My husband and I went in to see the 330 showing for Glass. Unfortunately due to several teenaged children being disruptive, I was not able to enjoy the movie. I would love to continue to patronize this location because it's close to my home but I'm having my doubts. Some things definitely need to change.

Great place to come where its first come, first served in getting good seats when a really good anticipated movie begins. No seat reservations which is a plus on movie premiere for last minute planning goers. Parking garages, is not free around here. Make sure when you get your parking card to get a discounted fee from regal theatre by the customer service area.

Conveniently located, but some guy cut in line ahead of us at the snack counter. So we spent 20 minutes ordering and waiting for a pretzel. Then the seat I sat in smelled like the previous visitor hadn't showered in weeks. We should have moved but didn't want to interupt. Well, actually, I shouldn't have had to deal with it in the first place. This place needs to be maintained better and the staff shouldn't be afraid of the customers and let them walk all over other patrons.

I saw Teen Titans Go! To The Movies at 10am on June 26th for a special summer $1 showing. The theater was really nice overall, nice, big, and fancy with a decent screen size. The speakers were really good as well! Tho it's not the theater itself I had a problem with...I definitely had a problem with the people I shared it with. There were about 5-6 summer camps in the theater with me, and they were all really noisy, rude, and disruptive throughout the movie. No one did anything about it either and I was disgusted by the state they left this theater in! Walk in, beautiful; walk out, trashed. Only problem I had with the place was the people, but overall it was fine. Conclusion...beautiful place, terrible people.

For a while when it first opened it was the best kept secret in Hyattsville with minimal waits in line for tickets and concessions, however, now there are long lines, much longer than I wish to wait. However, there are kiosks located in the lobby to purchase your tickets as well as on the Regal app where you can sign up to earn points for free popcorn, soda, movie tickets and upgrades for money spent during each Regal visit. The theater is clean with validation up to 2 hours for parking in the garage across the street which gets a little crowded with a short wait exiting the garage. Oh and Tuesday is the new Friday/Saturday with ALL MOVIES $6.00 ALL DAY. You cant beat that!!! Exceptionally great for date night! Nice restaurants also adjacent to the establishment and the neighboring area.

Hubby and I went for a 5pm show on a Monday. Not your typical movie night, but there were plenty of other patrons. There was one person working the concessions, and he was obviously overwhelmed. A manager came over after we had been waiting in line several minutes. She started getting customers their orders, but did not open another cash register. This caused the one worker to get even more backed up, and the poor guy looked like he was going in circles trying to help so many people at once. Once we got our drinks, we went into the theater, and that particular auditorium was filthy and smelled like feet. It had not been cleaned after the last movie. On top of this, it was also much warmer than the hallway outside. I mentioned this to the ticket taker, and it eventually cooled down a little.

Theatre is fine, but we recommend allowing an extra 20+ minutes if you plan on concessions. They seem to be consistently understaffed and the staff they do have seems to under-care. (Especially if your order involves something outside of normal cinema fair. We ordered a burger and chicken tenders. Took an eternity and be warned, the burger came bare, just a patty and bun ... no pickles, catch-up, or mustard.

I'm 63 and on a first date. My date was great, Movie was good, theater was nice and clean, (I enjoyed the rocker feature of the seats). The theater lobby was nice and clean. My only problem was there was no one at the concession stand (Even though we didn't want anything), and there were no ticket attendants in the lobby. I bought my ticket online. Instructions said take to ticket person and they would scan the bar code. We went all the way in to the theater. I turned around and went to the ticket desk and the young man scanned my bar code. Situation a little confusing, but it all worked out. Thanks Regal !! She wants to come back again. Happy New Year.

As of March 12, 2019, theater 1 for the showing of Captain Marvel had horrible sound issues. During loud portions of the movie, the front right had an intrusive metal rattling. Do not recommend watching any movie in theater 1.

The movie was great! The fact that there was only one person behind the counter doing everything was rediculous. She was great amd had a wonderful attitude in spite of the lack of help she had. I thought it was unfair to the the young lady that was there basically by herself. The managers were no where to be found. The only aother person I saw was the guy outside sweeping. Poor management that's why I gave this theatre a 3 star rating.
