If i could give this place a half a star i would . Completely over priced compared to white marsh and towson . Got soft pretzel bites , popcorn and a coke. Expected it to be pricey and it was . Pretzel bites were hard as a rock , popcorn taste as if it was sitting out over the weekend , and the coke was flat . As for the theatre itself the chairs are the most uncomfortable seats I've sat in since high school and the seats in front of you give you an amazing view of the back of everyones head . Completely disappointed! DONT GO HERE !

The theater was clean and orderly. I took my son to see a kids movie which can be kind of hectic at times but the experience at this theater was the opposite. The seats are very comfortable. I will definitely make this one of my go to theaters.

It was opening weekend for Jurassic Park. The theater was not sold out, which was a plus. I am so glad they haven't switched to reserved seating, which can be annoying. The popcorn was tasty and the "small" beverage was enough for two, since I'm not a soda drinker.

The movie I went to was great. Very slippery as you enter the doors to purchase your tickets possibly due to Greece from buttered popcorn? It wasn't wet outside. Youngsters working there mostly talking and visiting with eachother but still attentive. Lots of parking.

Movie had a wonderful effect on the audience. We all were engaged in the film. Customer service was really great. Had a fun conversation with the food service associate. Can't wait to return. Today was amongst one of the good days for a calm morning walk and film with my wife to be.

Love this place. Lots of theaters to offer up everything that's popular. It's usually clean and inviting. The staff is usually polite and professional. Friday and Saturday night lines to the bathrooms are short and move fast. Like any theater, food and drinks are over priced, but have lots to choose from. Very handicapped friendly. Tip: you can get a closer parking space if you park behind the theater and use the walkway instead of competing with the rest of Hunt Valley stores patrons out front.

I've decided to UPGRADE my Rating from 4-Stars to FIVE because This Theatre Does have EVERYTHING The larger ones have, but simply on a "Smaller" scale; CERTAINLY, Their Customer Service was BETTER! Am a frequent person at Regal hunt valley...as we speak my children are there watching Jurassic 2 and were watching incredibles in the morning..it's 7minutes from our house so its the best spot.so come summer they always say they are hiring .my 16 year old applied online early enough.....wait for it...people we know applied far much later...my daughter has called severally asking if she can get the job she is told they don't have positions.But they called people we know for interviews !!tell me is it because of her name? I thought it's a free and fair company in terms of equality. We are loyal to you but in the face of it you can't come through on simple stuff like equality? She is there right now and she witnessed it and called me very hurt.am waiting for the movie to be over i go pick them but I just feel bad for my daughter I had to vent!!...make a society different for heaven's sake don't show the young ones the nonsense out here about segregation!! We need a better future for the younger generation thats all ...thank you

The employees at this place are absolutely terrible. Walked in and no one was at the front ticket counter, totally understandable as it was a matinee so probably less staff. There is a sign that says go to concessions stand for tickets. So I walk over to the concession stand and there's a significant line because there's 1 person working, 1 pretending to be on another machine, and 1 just standing around looking at the napkin dispenser. Finally the guy pretending to do something realized that a line has formed and decides to "help." I walk over and ask for him to print the tickets, they were purchased online and I just needed to print them and I was trying not to use the self serve kiosk to keep people employed. He proceeds to try and ring me up, which I had told him I didn't need. I showed my app again with the barcode and he looks confused and calls over the only other person actually doing anything. They clear the order and I'm told to use the kiosk, fine by me I'll replace you with a machine. And that's not even the end. My wife was there with me wanting popcorn, also why I didn't use the kiosk figured knock 2 birds with 1 stone, but the guy struggled with that whole order. Long story boring go pretty much anywhere else. It was at least clean, but the chairs are older, no recline like most newer theaters. No fancy seats like other newer theaters. And they raised their prices to match these newer theaters, for what?!

This place literally stinks. Went to 11:10 am show yesterday. Smelled like a cross between a wet dog and a wet diaper. The extreme humidity in the theater was not helping. The rumor from the people behind us was that they were told the AC would come on with the start of the movie??? If that's true, management should be fired on the spot. AC did eventually come on and calmed the humidity, but the odor never completely went away. This place needs a renovation.

Went to the movies Monday afternoon. The staff looked bored , like they didn't really want to be there, especially the girl at the concession stand . Everything else was OK except for the fact this was the warmest movie theater I have ever been to in the summertime. I remember going to the movies in the summer because it was so nice and cold there. Not this cinema.

My husband and I hadnt been to the movies in years. I decided for one of his Christmas gifts, we would enjoy a night at the movies. We were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!. NOT ONLY COULD WE NOT HEAR WHAT WAS GOING ON, NEITHER COULD HALF THE THEATER!. AT the end of the movie we asked to speak with a manager, and when he finally came out to speak to us, we got to speak with this so called manager, he gave us a half hearted apology as he was backing away from us, and then had the nerve to say we should have gotten up and came out to find someone. Unbelievable!!. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Regal cinemas!!

I’m sorry, but I have never been to a movie theatre and seen mice amongst my feet. Not just one but multiple. They were baby mice, which means there are plenty more near by. I brought this problem to management and all they asked was, “what theatre was it in”. The theatre does not matter mice do not stay in a single room. Especially in a establishment that has a kitchen and rooms that have popcorn/ other snacks on the floor. Management will do nothing about this problem, they were nonchalant and just refunded me my money as if this has occurred before. I will never return back to this mice infested theatre. I would give it negative stars if I could. Thank you Regal Hunt Valley movie theatre, but no thank you.

Movie screen was flickering the entire time, making the viewing experience distracting. Costs $20 for a medium popcorn, small drink, and single small box of candy. Popcorn ended up making my fiancee and I both sick today.

Great customer experience kind of felt like customer service might be a little too friendly but still good, but if you're going to have someone working behind the counter and make sure they're not someone who sweats easily cuz it doesn't come off very clean to have someone serving your food is constantly sweating

Poorly trained concession staff= poor management! Plan for extra time before the movie, you'll need it. Counters at concession full of spilled popcorn. Again, train your staff to keep the area clean. Trash cans overflowing outside of theaters. Dirt spots on the movie screen (theater 3). Really not a pleasant customer experience! Isn't that what going to the movies is all about...a positive customer experience. You're competing for our entertainment dollars, make us want to be there.

Sorry but it’s really expensive to go here and the chairs are uncomfortable. We live next to this theater, but choose to drive 20 minutes to the AMC in Owings Mills because AMC A list is a steal and they have heated recliners. Also AMC has $5 tickets every Tuesday for people who aren’t a part of A list.

This is a big multiscreen movie theater with comfortable stadium-style seating. The selection of movies is conventional; don't expect foreign-language films or documentaries here. Restrooms are clean and conveniently located. The parking lot is big, but finding an available spot can be challenging.

His response was: "Wanna step outside?" Really, Regal, you have employees who threaten customers with violence? Never going back. Cinemark and the Senator will be getting my money from now on.

Went with husband and 2 kids to see Black Panther movie. Theater was small. Husband ended up sitting separately because people were saving seats, although this was NOT a reserved seat showing (those seats were sold out at other theaters). Got 3 end of row seats, 3rd row from the screen. So we had to look up at the screen the whole time. They have the rocker chairs that I was not fond of (every time someone in the row behind exited the row they grabbed the back of my chair and yanked it back). Theater was warm, so I was overdressed in my turtleneck. Theater and bathroom was clean (there was a line for the women's bathroom, but I don't think people realized there was another one around the corner). Overall the staff was courteous and promptly cleaned the theater as everyone was leaving. Only downside-I got nauseous & vomited over half the large popcorn my daughter & I shared. Still feeling the effects next day but my daughter's okay.

Just a regular movie theater. I think it's kinda outdated, considering it's a "Regal" and the location (right next to a fancy mall). The seats are so uncomfortable. We got there right at the time of the show, so I was worried that we wouldn't get a seat, but there were plenty of seats. It was a Friday evening and a new movie (second weekend in theaters). So this theater doesn't get crowded I guess. They should definitely get a renovation/upgrade. I prefer the Cinamark theater in Towson. This place is just old and uncomfortable. But at the end of the day, the movies play on the screen, it's clean, and the staff is polite. So I really can't complain.

An all around good theater. Good quality food (though still the regular movie theater price), polite staff, and I've never had an issue with the management. The location is clean and without any large issue. The only downside is that their equipment is a bit dated. The seating is older and sometimes has issues, and their screens in some theaters have marks on them that usually aren't preceptable but occasionally can be.

Nice place to see a movie but parking can be a challenge the movie was around 14.00 and didn't get anything to eat or drink. Its not the first time I have been to this theater and would likely see another movie here again

Seats are not upgraded to what other theaters have . Amenities here are pretty weak compared to Towson Cinemark and AMC. we only went because they don't reserve seats here and for a last minute date night it worked.

Ticket prices here are OUTRAGEOUS based on the dated theaters, damaged screens (3 had a massive stain when I went to see a movie just last night) and general dinginess. The staff is friendly enough but a Ritz Carlton-trained staff couldn’t make up for the lack of investment in the property.

The theater smells. Compared with Towson or Owings Mills, this theater is out-of-date and worth passing on. Well past the time for the owners to renovate the theater.

Went with husband and 2 kids to see Black Panther movie. Theater was small. Husband ended up sitting separately because people were saving seats, although this was NOT a reserved seat showing (those seats were sold out at other theaters). Got 3 end of row seats, 3rd row from the screen. So we had to look up at the screen the whole time. They have the rocker chairs that I was not fond of (every time someone in the row behind exited the row they grabbed the back of my chair and yanked it back). Theater was warm, so I was overdressed in my turtleneck. Theater and bathroom was clean (there was a line for the women's bathroom, but I don't think people realized there was another one around the corner). Overall the staff was courteous and promptly cleaned the theater as everyone was leaving. Only downside-I got nauseous & vomited over half the large popcorn my daughter & I shared. Still feeling the effects next day but my daughter's okay.

Just a regular movie theater. I think it's kinda outdated, considering it's a "Regal" and the location (right next to a fancy mall). The seats are so uncomfortable. We got there right at the time of the show, so I was worried that we wouldn't get a seat, but there were plenty of seats. It was a Friday evening and a new movie (second weekend in theaters). So this theater doesn't get crowded I guess. They should definitely get a renovation/upgrade. I prefer the Cinamark theater in Towson. This place is just old and uncomfortable. But at the end of the day, the movies play on the screen, it's clean, and the staff is polite. So I really can't complain.

An all around good theater. Good quality food (though still the regular movie theater price), polite staff, and I've never had an issue with the management. The location is clean and without any large issue. The only downside is that their equipment is a bit dated. The seating is older and sometimes has issues, and their screens in some theaters have marks on them that usually aren't preceptable but occasionally can be.

Let's be real, this isn't Cinemark. If it's a crazy release, you'll have to come prepared and ahead of time. But that's part of the fun! If it's not a super release then you can enjoy walking in without a reservation and plop right down before the movie with your favorite seat. The seating is good and the screen is also good. My advice to Regal is that if you wanna continue to compete with Cinemark, lower your food and drink prices, steam clean and fix some of the broken chairs, and clamp down on the rare collection of misbehaving audience members. Other than that this place is awesome!

Fairly high priced movie theater while still lacking quality. We ran into multiple broken seats in the theater. And all the seating was pretty low, the rows didn't go high... So the seat in front of you is almost level to your neck if you are short like me. If someone sat in front of me, there would be no way I could see the full screen.

The security at this theater is pathetic they’re so bored they harassed me and my s/o for no reason. He followed us into the theater and watched us the whole time mind you we did nothing wrong other than my s/o went into the ladies room with me to help me use the restroom because I have been diagnosed with bone cancer in my hip and have trouble using the restroom on my own anyway he harassed us in the movie and next thing we know a manager walks in and tells us we will have to leave because I had my eyes closed and was thought to be sleeping the manager proceeded to tell us that he got complaints (not true) for making noise and sleeping? How were we making noise and sleeping? I feel very uncomfortable and have just come to watch a movie we paid our money and are being treated horribly by the staff all because a wanna be cop security guard is bored and has nothing else to do. I can assure you I will not be returning to this theater and will be contacting corporate reguarding this matter I am very hurt and disgusted with such behavior and definitely forward others planning to attend this theater you may be chosen next to be picked on and harassed... PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

The theatre is clean and large. The arm-rests do not fold up so if you are on a date it limits your seating posabilities down to just holding hands. The bathrooms are large. The theaters don't smell like popcorn, and the sound and picture are clear.

Terrible experience. I'm 15, almost 16. My mother purchased a friend and I's tickets to see the new first purge movie. We had the tickets with the time stamp proving they had been purchased 20 minutes before showing of the movie. We waited at the kiosk for someone to tell us which theater to go to but of course no one was there. We looked at the tickets and they said theater 2 so we went there to see an empty theater. It being a new movie we were concerned we went to the wrong theater so we asked the employee walking down the aisle if we were at the right theater. He said yes and then asked to see our ID's as if it was a bar. He told me that it we had no proof of age and looked under 21 we would be forced to leave the theater. I was fuming because my mother purchased these tickets and he was acting as if we had purchased them off some black market website. He then said we could refund and see a different non rated R movie. I took the offer as mad as I was. He then denied my refund and ability to see another movie because the tickets were purchased with a credit card and I didn't have it, since it was my mother's. I then was forced to wait for angry mother to drive 25 minutes back to the theater from on the way to see her sick mother in the hospital. The whole trip cost us an afternoon we hadn't had the chance to take in a long time and about $35 in concessions and tickets. Needless to say, i will no longer be attending your theater for any future movies and will be sure to make sure friend of mine do the same. Thank you.

I do think, however, you might want to invest in transforming at least some of your theaters to the "state of the art" seating: steeper, stadium rows with wider, reclining chairs with foot rest and small, retractable tables for snacks. Dirty and outdated. Went on a Saturday night. As soon as we got in line for snacks, the employee walked away and never came back, with a line forming behind us and leaving only one cashier at the concession stand. Could see multiple employees in the back doing absolutely nothing, except watch the lines grow. The trash cans were over flowing, the theatre had trash and food all over the floors. Multiple employees there and not doing much work!

Took the family to see Rocketman inTheater 8 yesterday afternoon at the Regal Cinema in Hunt Valley. About halfway through the advertisements, I was beginning to notice that there was no sound coming out of the Left front speaker — very crucial to the impact of the music, as it is generally mixed in stereo and sent to the left and right front speakers . I suspected maybe some sort of a mismatch between the playback file format of the advertisements and the audio routing. Previews: still no music in the left front. Rocketman: same thing. The left front audio was very conspicuously missing . . . on a music themed feature for which I had just plunked down over $70 (not counting overpriced popcorn and drinks) for my family to see and hear and enjoy. I thought about taking a walk out to talk to the manager, but I didn’t want to disrupt the people seated around me, over whom I would need to stumble in the dark in order to leave my seat. And I didn’t want to disappoint my wife, who seemed to be blissfully unaware that Elton’s piano was only ever coming out of the right speaker — except for a few solo moments when the piano was panned to the center channel. During the closing credits I walked up to the screen to verify my suspicion. Yup, no audio at all on the Left Front So after the movie had ended and the audience cleared out, I sought out the manager to inform him about the problem . . . so that at least maybe the next audience would be able to hear and enjoy the movie as it was originally intended. The young manager’s reaction was to scurry off to verify my report for himself. Not wanting to hold up everyone else from heading out to family dinner, I scurried off myself, but not before reminding the manager that I had just paid $70 to watch a ruined movie. No reaction or acknowledgement whatsoever from the manager. Never again will I choose Regal Hunt Valley as the place to watch a movie!

This theater needs some major improvements...it's unfortunately staffed with some younger folks who can't be bothered to follow through on things like asking the manager to turn up the sound during a film (I was told "it will turn up eventually" -- and never did). And everything is quite out of date to boot. There are plenty of other places to spend $13 or less on a movie ticket in the area where you'll get a better experience. Go elsewhere if you can.

There isn't any place to sit while waiting for a movie except for a few chairs by the concession stand. Ticket taker said the theater was wrong on the ticket, said it was 9 not 6. Went to the wrong theater and realized after previews we were in wrong theater and moved to correct one. Very irritating

First visit to this theater. Awful smell in corridor possibly mildew. Once seated in the theater I happened to glance down when I saw a rodent run pass my feet. Startled I left my seat went back to the lobby. My daughter was at the concession stand. After telling her what I saw we requested refund and left the theater.

This theatre is the only one in the area that has not been renovated yet. It's really lacking compared to the other theaters around. I really hope they upgrade it soon, because it really is a little grimy. The only benefit is that it's less crowded.

Nice theater that is clean and is full of nice staff members. Sign up for the regal program and you can get some really good deals on food and even free tickets. Also, free parking right outside is a plus. And restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Dirty and outdated. Went on a Saturday night. As soon as we got in line for snacks, the employee walked away and never came back, with a line forming behind us and leaving only one cashier at the concession stand. Could see multiple employees in the back doing absolutely nothing, except watch the lines grow. The trash cans were over flowing, the theatre had trash and food all over the floors. Multiple employees there and not doing much work!

Took the family to see Rocketman inTheater 8 yesterday afternoon at the Regal Cinema in Hunt Valley. About halfway through the advertisements, I was beginning to notice that there was no sound coming out of the Left front speaker — very crucial to the impact of the music, as it is generally mixed in stereo and sent to the left and right front speakers . I suspected maybe some sort of a mismatch between the playback file format of the advertisements and the audio routing. Previews: still no music in the left front. Rocketman: same thing. The left front audio was very conspicuously missing . . . on a music themed feature for which I had just plunked down over $70 (not counting overpriced popcorn and drinks) for my family to see and hear and enjoy. I thought about taking a walk out to talk to the manager, but I didn’t want to disrupt the people seated around me, over whom I would need to stumble in the dark in order to leave my seat. And I didn’t want to disappoint my wife, who seemed to be blissfully unaware that Elton’s piano was only ever coming out of the right speaker — except for a few solo moments when the piano was panned to the center channel. During the closing credits I walked up to the screen to verify my suspicion. Yup, no audio at all on the Left Front So after the movie had ended and the audience cleared out, I sought out the manager to inform him about the problem . . . so that at least maybe the next audience would be able to hear and enjoy the movie as it was originally intended. The young manager’s reaction was to scurry off to verify my report for himself. Not wanting to hold up everyone else from heading out to family dinner, I scurried off myself, but not before reminding the manager that I had just paid $70 to watch a ruined movie. No reaction or acknowledgement whatsoever from the manager. Never again will I choose Regal Hunt Valley as the place to watch a movie!

This theater needs some major improvements...it's unfortunately staffed with some younger folks who can't be bothered to follow through on things like asking the manager to turn up the sound during a film (I was told "it will turn up eventually" -- and never did). And everything is quite out of date to boot. There are plenty of other places to spend $13 or less on a movie ticket in the area where you'll get a better experience. Go elsewhere if you can.

Outdated and overpriced. Seats are old, narrow and don't recline. Feels like an airplane. It looks dirty and it doesn't smell good. There isn't any place to sit while waiting for a movie except for a few chairs by the concession stand. And heaven forbid you may want to charge your phone while waiting for your movie, after paying $12+ for the ticket, because that isn't allowed (outlets all over the lobby but you can't use them) It's like they are doing everything here to make people not want to patronize this theater.

The staff was very nice. The theater however, was musty smelling with no A/C until well into the movie. At least two ceiling tiles looked to be ready to fall down. Needs work.

Decent prices if you catch a movie before noon. My only complaint is that the seating is a little outdated - but that's the norm for lots of theaters. Plenty of parking and the theater is located in a very cool area with other attractions. If it's close, go!
