I am not sure how this place can get away with charging the prices they do. Maybe back when they first opened, but most all theaters now have reserved seating with large reclining seats. The food and drinks were also expensive and nothing to write home about. Between a drink, an appetizer and the ticket itself, easily over $100 for a couple to go to the movies. No thanks.

A few years ago this place was nice. Now they need to clean the chairs and the table where you eat. It was sticky and peeling. The actual service has declined as well. Looking for a new place to watch movies. I don't suggest spending 56.00 for 2 tickets and so-so service.

Not for the cost conscious. Great theater if you like space and comfortability. Won't find many teenager(too expensive) and children that are there are with their parents. Can really appreciate the side by side seating for couples(cozy) and reclining chairs. A pillow and blanket are provided for each chair. It's the gourmet of theater's. Great theater for couples(date night) who are reconnecting after a crazy week or month. The food is delicious, beyond pop corn and candies. Real food, not re-heated chicken bites/tenders. There's also wines and beer. Great place for everyone to see a movie and get a real meal. Highly recommend if you're willing to spend more than $20 bucks for a show. Took out of town friends there to see Endgame and they loved the theater and show of course. FYI, you order your food from a server as you would at a restaurant and there's a table/station to eat your food at your seats. You may also order throughout the show. Worth checking out at least once.

My first visit to IPic was last month, and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed our selfies. The ambience was really nice the food was good, our server was very timing and even at times the manager came over and checked on us.

Beautiful theater. The only issue I see is the price for those dine-in seats. $24 just to sit down and get unlimited popcorn, making a family of 4 movie night almost a $100 event. Now if you decide to order something, then it becomes even more expensive. The problem with those $15 chairs that are not part of the dine-in experience is that they don't even recline like the chairs in every other movie theater in the area, making them very uncomfortable. Perhaps it would be a good idea to have some regular theaters with comfortable chairs along with the ones with the dining option.

The best movie experience in town. Make sure to select the premium option - insane recliners, blankets, pillows, and in theater tableside food and drink. Try the food. It is a far cry from usual theater fare. It's a totally legit option for lunch or dinner.

I really enjoyed the iPic experience. My friend got our tickets online but no one ever checked them. We weren’t sure where to go so we stopped at the concession stand. The worker printed out tickets but no one ever checked those either. The blanket at my seat came in handy Bc it was a cold day. I ordered the Long Island which was pretty good. Not sure how they made it but it wasn’t too strong and had a hint of cinnamon. Everyone gets popcorn before the movie starts which was nice. I ordered the turkey sliders to eat. Note - these are turkey burgers. I was expecting turkey. The waiters delivering food was not noticeable at all during the movie. If you need anything you just push a button and they come to your seat. I loved it. The bathrooms were also pretty nice. I liked the strength of the paper napkins. (I hate using air dryers.) The whole experience I felt very relaxed and catered to. I just don’t know how they keep track of whose coming in when they don’t check tickets.

Besides the fact that this place is so far from my house, this is a wonderful location! They have a bar inside the movie theater so you can pre game before you go in. The food they serve directly to your seat, is Delicious. The service was great and the waiters did not interrupt others watching the movie. The seating was extremely comfortable and clean. They also give a blanket on every seat. The plus of course is that they serve alcohol. For a nice semi high class movie experience. Try this place. You won’t be disappointed!

When this place was new it was the only one with recliners, but now most of the areas cinemas have done major remodels to compete, And they do it without the poor attitudes you get from the undertrained staff here.... for example, Last month the manager yelled at me for letting him know I was unhappy… last week no one was available to run the concession stand! This place sucks, and there are too many other good options in the area to have to deal with it!

This theater is in a nice location in the shopping center of Pike and Rose. When we walked in, I was amazed. It doesn't feel like your traditional movie theater, it has a different style that is elegant and posh. The tickets are a bit pricey, for a regular seating it's $16 and for a premium upgrade with comfortable, reclining chairs with a blanket and pillow, it's $28. It also includes services in which you can order food and they'll bring the food to you while you're watching the movie. The bathroom is nice as well, there's individual glass doors. However, I fee like they could do a better upkeep with the bathroom, it was slightly dirty when I went to use before and after the movie.

My family and I love going to this theater. I think it's the nicest one around. I love the idea of reserved seats so you don't have to "beat others" to the front of the line for a good spot. The couples seating is nice too, it gives you a bit of privacy from other guests. They have pretty good food and a wide selection for a theater, but it's a bit overpriced. The staff bring around free popcorn once the movie has started, which is a nice bonus. We've seen many movies here, and for the most part have always had great customer service. We even saw Carla Hall walking around the theater once, so they must care about their food. The art on display is for sale, and I always think they have nice selections.

Pleasant dinning and movie experience for special occasions, incredible comfort, good and fast service. Bathrooms are outstandingly decorated and clean. Only thing is the food quantity vs its pricing. Don't go there hungry, you'll probably come out still hungry but with empty pockets.

Love this place.. the ice cream sandwiches are THE BOMB.. beware of late night shows in reclining seats with a blanket. You could possibly fall asleep... yeah I don't know HOW I managed to sleep though 2 hours of Skyfall in a public venue.. what can I say.. it was past my bedtime AND a long movie.

This is an Epic Theatre! Impressive spot for Movie Date. The seats are amazing, the theatre temperature is perfect, the volume comfortable and the food also tastes great. The facility is well maintained and parking is accessible. We had such a respectful server too!

So my perspective is based on my experience visiting iPic theaters in Houston, TX. 1. The staff members are unpleasant...unhelpful...unwelcoming. 2. Restrooms are disgusting for this “caliber” of theater. 3. Where’s the luxury? This is the first iPic I’ve visited without the privacy partition. Chairs should be cleaned.. 4. The food was good : )

Oh IPIC what happened? We've been coming to this theater for 3 years because we loved the seating and being waited on at our seats. It all felt very glamorous at first but as time passed I couldn't help but notice the change in quality. The bathrooms are the worst. I can't remember the last time I went and there was toilet paper. Always out of toilet paper and the same broken doors. Please fix the stalls with broken locks. We like to go during the early afternoon shows because the service is lacking when we go during their busy evening shows.

So the last time I went to IPic was on December 18, 2018. Every time that I go, I sit in the premier seats due to the free popcorn as well as the blanket. I normally have no issues with this theatre but this time, it wasn’t that great. Firstly, the sheets felt very used. It smelled fine, but the sheets seemed to be overused and worn out. I picked up one from a different seat, and It felt the same. Secondly, we didn’t get any popcorn. We ordered food and I asked the waiter was the popcorn on the way, and he replied, yes. We never received It and I didn’t see them bring anyone popcorn that night. I get It was the last showing of the night and maybe they were ready to go, but if I am paying all of that money for those seats, I would like to have everything that’s included. Towards the end of the movie, I went and told the manager and she apologized and said she would get us some. By that time we had already ate our food, and It was pointless at that point. I guess I was expecting a popcorn voucher for next time, not sure if they do that. We had to ask the server twice for a to go box. The only reason I am writing this on here is because when they sent the email for me to fill out the survey, I did, but heard nothing back. IPic just has to be on there P’s and Q’s at all times.

This theater was so nice! The staff was nice and friendly. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. The seats were so buttery soft and comfortable. My waiter was just ok...he took the experience down a couple of notches. It took the server a long time to come after we pushed the button(everytime). We order Tandoori Chicken(some pieces were under cooked), Bbq chicken pizza(was good), sweet potato fries(was over cooked/burnt)and banana pudding(just ok)

You will have a good movie-going experience here. The food is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive. Yes, you pay more but it is worth it. Push the button and your food and drinks are brought to you ... with full bar. I have never ordered food that wasn't excellent - the quality control is spot on. And the popcorn is gourmet popcorn - not the typical movie popcorn that makes your stomach hurt.

I would easily recommend IPIC to anyone, but I would strongly recommend that they eat somewhere else before coming to the theater and settle for just enjoying the free popcorn and surprisingly good drinks during their film. The food was some of the worst we (a group of three) have ever had. Came out lukewarm and quickly cooled. It was poorly put together and tasted poorly as well, not worth finishing. Fix the food, and the rating is a solid 5-stars. It is too expensive of an experience for such poor quality of food. I will be back for sure, but I will never order from their kitchen again. One of the restaurants nearby will get our money instead. I thought I remembered them having tablets for us to order food from some years ago. Either way, they should implement tablets as it was disruptive to hear servers and movie-watchers who came later talk about what they wanted as the movie started. This was only a minor irritation compared to the food itself. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves. Reclining seats, pillows, and blankets were nice. Free popcorn and good drinks. Sound and picture quality of the movie was great. Such comfort makes a bad movie seem good. The audience was well-behaved save one idiot behind me who I think dropped something that was worth turning the flashlight of his phone on to look underneath, around his seat in the middle of the film. Despite our strong feelings against the food (it was unforgettably bad), we look forward to coming back.

I enjoy coming here. I don't frequent the movies but if I am going on a date and someone pitches the movie I pitch this place. The movie experience here it just better! I enjoy the peace, the reclining seats and the opportunity to have a server so you don't miss any of the movie! I went here recently on a date and had a good time. Food prices are to be eh you movie food prices (my margherita pizza was $16, whiskey sour $13, and my dates mule $12) but I wouldn't honestly expect anything less. Drinks were, not strong but a good compliment to the movie. I also enjoy the option of having a blanket. We had the premium seats I believe...but it was a great experience!

I really feel like I’m owed a full refund and more for the waste of time. Wow we came here on our first date since our daughter was born, we figured we didn’t have enough time to dinner and a movie so we came here (dinner and a movie) Long story short. Got one popcorn and never saw the waiter again until it was time to order. We ordered our drinks and food got our drinks and never saw the guy again until it was time to pay for food that never came. It came at the end of the movie with the check and the desert LOL what a joke. So we said we’re fine and sent it back. I think this place owes us a full refund and $50 for a babysitter at the least

Wowwwww this was the first time my wife and I experienced this in a theatre. No same old seating or plain menu. you(order from the restaurant that’s in the building the city perch I think ) and get served with actual meals while you watch your show! You also get a pillow and blanket! The service is great. It is pricier than normal theater because it’s not the same experience. We love going here for date nights! But we also took our kids to see incredible and Jurassic world it was so much fun they can eat with a small table which is less mess and we don’t have to worry about carrying all of the food while holding kids! The food is bought to us so that’s a better experience as a parent!!! Thank you for this theatre ! The popcorn is so delicious buttery and salty and it’s free

Disgusting place and terrible food. Roaches in the seats of the theater. My chicken sandwich came out raw. Asked for the manager to come out and speak to me and it took him an hour. $$$$ ... When they say that a movie theater charges PREMIUM pricing, THIS is what they mean. That said, the service is good and there are reclining leather chairs (not loveseats, so you’ll have to turn in to a bit of an acrobat if you want to snuggle up to your date). This is a great “date” (due to waitstaff) place but for average Hollywood fare, you can get by with cheaper. REALLY 3.5 STARS, DUE TO THE COST.

Our family loves this fantastic theater! Truly an upscale moving-going experience. Order food at the great connected restaurant or order food and drinks to be delivered right to your seat in the theater! Each super comfy reclining chair comes with a pillow and blanket (if you chose the upgrade)...but who can resist the bottomless popcorn! The servers are attentive, and this is the best movie pampering experience out there!!

First timer and not impressed. I’ve heard about the IPIC experience and was excited but there was nothing amazing to me. I paid over $150 last night between tickets and food. Cons: 1. The reclining seat wasn’t comfortable to me. It wasn’t cozy like other theaters I’ve been to. The pillow and blanket was basic like the ones given on an airplane. It added nothing to my experience. 2. The food was edible but not tasty. And came out warm/cool. 3. Unlimited popcorn is a complimentary gift?! Please, I paid $28 per seat. I paid for that popcorn. Pros: 1. Our server, Claudette K, was nice and attentive. We have some food sensitivities and allergies and she listened to our concerns and communicated that to the chef. 2. A lot of parking available in the attached garage. 3. A variety of other food options if you don’t want to eat at the theater. 4. The theater was clean.

I normally don't go to movies but this was amazing! After we got seated in our recliners, we also got a small pillow and blanket, we looked over the menu. All we had to do was push a button and or waitress came over and took our order. She was very polite and friendly. We weren't expecting great food but to my surprise it was delicious! I wouldn't make this an all the time place to go but it is a great date night or something special to do with older kids, I would take my 14 yr old for example. Overall, a great experience and look forward to going back!

So the last time I went to IPic was on December 18, 2018. Every time that I go, I sit in the premier seats due to the free popcorn as well as the blanket. I normally have no issues with this theatre but this time, it wasn’t that great. Firstly, the sheets felt very used. It smelled fine, but the sheets seemed to be overused and worn out. I picked up one from a different seat, and It felt the same. Secondly, we didn’t get any popcorn. We ordered food and I asked the waiter was the popcorn on the way, and he replied, yes. We never received It and I didn’t see them bring anyone popcorn that night. I get It was the last showing of the night and maybe they were ready to go, but if I am paying all of that money for those seats, I would like to have everything that’s included. Towards the end of the movie, I went and told the manager and she apologized and said she would get us some. By that time we had already ate our food, and It was pointless at that point. I guess I was expecting a popcorn voucher for next time, not sure if they do that. We had to ask the server twice for a to go box. The only reason I am writing this on here is because when they sent the email for me to fill out the survey, I did, but heard nothing back. IPic just has to be on there P’s and Q’s at all times.

This theater was so nice! The staff was nice and friendly. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. The seats were so buttery soft and comfortable. My waiter was just ok...he took the experience down a couple of notches. It took the server a long time to come after we pushed the button(everytime). We order Tandoori Chicken(some pieces were under cooked), Bbq chicken pizza(was good), sweet potato fries(was over cooked/burnt)and banana pudding(just ok)

You will have a good movie-going experience here. The food is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive. Yes, you pay more but it is worth it. Push the button and your food and drinks are brought to you ... with full bar. I have never ordered food that wasn't excellent - the quality control is spot on. And the popcorn is gourmet popcorn - not the typical movie popcorn that makes your stomach hurt.

I would easily recommend IPIC to anyone, but I would strongly recommend that they eat somewhere else before coming to the theater and settle for just enjoying the free popcorn and surprisingly good drinks during their film. The food was some of the worst we (a group of three) have ever had. Came out lukewarm and quickly cooled. It was poorly put together and tasted poorly as well, not worth finishing. Fix the food, and the rating is a solid 5-stars. It is too expensive of an experience for such poor quality of food. I will be back for sure, but I will never order from their kitchen again. One of the restaurants nearby will get our money instead. I thought I remembered them having tablets for us to order food from some years ago. Either way, they should implement tablets as it was disruptive to hear servers and movie-watchers who came later talk about what they wanted as the movie started. This was only a minor irritation compared to the food itself. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves. Reclining seats, pillows, and blankets were nice. Free popcorn and good drinks. Sound and picture quality of the movie was great. Such comfort makes a bad movie seem good. The audience was well-behaved save one idiot behind me who I think dropped something that was worth turning the flashlight of his phone on to look underneath, around his seat in the middle of the film. Despite our strong feelings against the food (it was unforgettably bad), we look forward to coming back.

I enjoy coming here. I don't frequent the movies but if I am going on a date and someone pitches the movie I pitch this place. The movie experience here it just better! I enjoy the peace, the reclining seats and the opportunity to have a server so you don't miss any of the movie! I went here recently on a date and had a good time. Food prices are to be eh you movie food prices (my margherita pizza was $16, whiskey sour $13, and my dates mule $12) but I wouldn't honestly expect anything less. Drinks were, not strong but a good compliment to the movie. I also enjoy the option of having a blanket. We had the premium seats I believe...but it was a great experience!

Wow we came here on our first date since our daughter was born, we figured we didn’t have enough time to dinner and a movie so we came here (dinner and a movie) Long story short. Got one popcorn and never saw the waiter again until it was time to order. We ordered our drinks and food got our drinks and never saw the guy again until it was time to pay for food that never came. It came at the end of the movie with the check and the desert LOL what a joke. So we said we’re fine and sent it back. I think this place owes us a full refund and $50 for a babysitter at the least

Wowwwww this was the first time my wife and I experienced this in a theatre. No same old seating or plain menu. you(order from the restaurant that’s in the building the city perch I think ) and get served with actual meals while you watch your show! You also get a pillow and blanket! The service is great. It is pricier than normal theater because it’s not the same experience. We love going here for date nights! But we also took our kids to see incredible and Jurassic world it was so much fun they can eat with a small table which is less mess and we don’t have to worry about carrying all of the food while holding kids! The food is bought to us so that’s a better experience as a parent!!! Thank you for this theatre ! The popcorn is so delicious buttery and salty and it’s free

Disgusting place and terrible food. Roaches in the seats of the theater. My chicken sandwich came out raw. Asked for the manager to come out and speak to me and it took him an hour. When I left I saw the chefs touching the food that was being served to the guest with their hands. Food made me sick and dont recommend this place to anyone, dont let the scenery fool you.

$$$$ ... When they say that a movie theater charges PREMIUM pricing, THIS is what they mean. That said, the service is good and there are reclining leather chairs (not loveseats, so you’ll have to turn in to a bit of an acrobat if you want to snuggle up to your date). This is a great “date” (due to waitstaff) place but for average Hollywood fare, you can get by with cheaper. REALLY 3.5 STARS, DUE TO THE COST.

You could order from iPads (or maybe just see the menu) that were at each position and they'd bring your food right out. Depending on your budget, this isn’t an every weekend expenditure. With that being said, you only die once, so treat yourself! This isn’t an inexpensive date night, but one you will enjoy nonetheless. They even give you free popcorn! The food isn’t outrageously priced, and is objectively good. The drinks are better. We drive from the Columbia, MD area because we really like this theater and the comfy seats. The service is great, and it's really convenient to order food at our seats. The food is actually pretty good too. The only downside is the cleanliness can be a miss, but only sometimes. The seats are only semi-cleaned, and the tables are sometimes sticky from past soda spills. It won't stop us from coming, but it's an area for improvement. Definitely still worth the experience.

The iPic Theatre Bethesda is a part of the Pike and Rose development in North Bethesda, Maryland. Pike and Rose is part of the splashy new development and shares the second story with City Perch restaurant. While the cinema features beautiful leather seats, blankets, and an in-theater menu designed by Sherry Yard, a pastry chef that worked for Wolfgang Puck in California. But that's where the amazement comes to a halt. On this particular visit, my love for iPic suffered greatly. The first issue that presented itself upon our arrival was the lack of self-service kiosks. While it was late and not a particularly busy night, it did not make a huge difference but having three kiosks out is disappointing for a luxury cinema. We were greeted by a less than enthusiastic ticket saleswoman who seemed like she had lost her best friend. As my friend and I took our seats we were passed by a gentleman serving popcorn to the guest in the premium section. What was funny is he greeted us but never offered either of us popcorn? After about fifteen minutes of waiting, we were greeted by our server. He was a very friendly and polite individual and sort of renewed my confidence in iPic, sort of. After taking our order which was fairly simple, two orders of pretzels with mustard and no cheese sauce, two drinks, a veggie burger, and waffle fries. The drinks came back surprisingly fast but our food was another story. While waiting my friend decided to utilize her blanket but quickly changed her mind after examining a blanket that looked as if it was handled by a toddler. The food arrived about twenty minutes later with several cups of cheese sauce. After explaining to the server that we do not want the cheese sauce and would like two mustard sauces he said he'd have them brought over immediately. Fifteen minutes later, still no mustard sauce. We waived down the server again and he said he’d bring it out himself. He came back about ten minutes later with two more cheese sauces. By this time the pretzels were getting cold and my friend was getting irritated. The server finally brought out the correct sauces and apologized for the mistake. When it came time to pay everything went smoothly until I got home and checked my account. The server had charged me for my order as well as someone else's. I could not believe how horrendous the service at iPic Theatres Bethesda has become. It was truly my favorite cinema but now it has me thinking of someone elsewhere. If iPic plans to keep its loyal customers, they should really look into their customer service as well as their attention to detail such as the pillows and blankets.

Premium seating is not worth it because even though the seats are comfy, they are not a lot better than typical theater seating in the area and you are very close to the screen. My boyfriend noted that the waiters speaking with guests were often louder during the movie than the guests themselves.

Expected more for the cost of $28 per ticket. It included popcorn, a blanket and reclining seat. Service was fairly slow, not sure if they were understaffed but it took awhile to get service after pressing the button and it took a long time to actually get our popcorn and drinks. I got an old fashioned that just didn't taste right. Bathrooms were located a bit far away, surprised they didn't have closer ones unless I missed it. Also there was an annoying high handrail from the stairs in my view during the entire movie. Placement of this was really odd. Also people were on their phones during the movie which isn't the theater's fault but it would've been nice to see staff tell them to put it away. Overall a pretty disappointing experience.

This place is fancy and for fancy people. Everything is nice and gives you the pampered feel. There are servers that come during the movies, whom you can order food and drinks from. You get a pillow and a blanket with your seat. The experience is different from a regular movie theater and with that comes the higher prices too. The movie and experience was very good, but personally it was just too much for me and not my cup of tea.

Very nice movie theater. Love the fact that you can order from your seat. I just would like it even better if the lighting on the little table was brighter because it's so dim you can't see the menu so well so I had to use my cell phone light. Overall it's worth it to go. You will get your money's worth.

I am not a movie theater person because I just don't enjoy the traditional experience. But this has changed my life. Love the comfy reclining chairs and warm blanket. The food is high quality. The servers are great. Every employee I encountered seemed knowledgeable and courteous. I'd give an extra star if the food prices were a tad bit better.

This theatre is great! They have reclining chairs with pillows and blankets for premium seats as well as food service. Food is very good, not the usual movie food. Yes, the tickets are pricey, but the service and comfort you get is great.

For being located in such a good location, you would think IPIC would have better service. Order an appetizer and food. Appetizers never came. When I wanted to order another drink I pressed my call button 4 times. After almost 20 minutes I had to get up and go get someone. Once the waiter came I mention I never got my appetizer. He said no worries, I will take it off the bill and still bring it to you. And it never came. It wasnt even busy. I can only imagine what service would be like if it was busy. Last time I came service took too long . I guess Ipic Movie Theater is just getting worse. If you’re reading this... don’t waste your money!!!!

I am now the type of person who wants to spend $60 on two movie tickets. Having a beer while I watch and being completely comfortable make that price tag completely worth it. I had the shrimp tacos, which were surprisingly good - but messy and hard to eat. I will go back.

CON IS THE FOOD - Everytime I've gone here my food is cold when they bring it out. Never hot. And the last two times I went they left something off my order which I just canceled. Went yesterday and they didn't bring utensils or the sauce that was supposed to come with my meal. Menu selections and actual taste of food is better here than Alamo Drafthouse but can't appreciate that when it's cold. Restrooms were also a mess.

When Ipic first opened it was AMAZING! It was clean, comfortable, and people were not constantly talking or on their phones, like at a typical theater. Over the course of the last year or so the experience has gradually become less luxurious. The bathrooms are constantly dirty now. Even first thing in the morning they are already dirty. I am not sure if that is because they weren't cleaned well the night before or what but every stall is out of toilet paper or the paper is hanging off of a hook instead of on the actual paper holder, the paper towels are out, and the the counter tops are all wet. Additionally, now the front desk attendants are so unpleasant. They barely speak and when they do it is in a tone that makes it seem like you are bothering them. Also, in the theater the seats are not being cleaned so there are crumbs and sticky substances on them all the time. The worst thing of all is that people are on their phones and talking during the movies like they never were before. It is so rude. It would be nice if Ipic had attendants in the theaters to monitor excessive chatter and either asked people to stop or leave.

It's OK. Have a gift card so decided to finally use it. Nothing special about this theater... Except the ridiculously overpriced seats. Got the non-reclining seats. Bad idea. Very uncomfortable. Very dated (since all theaters around only offer reclining seats) Better off going to a regular theater with half the price for nice and comfy reclining seats. I went because I had a gift card. Glad I didn't pay with my own money.

Our first time visiting the iPic theater. We chose premium seating and we're running late so we ordered and ate dinner during the movie. We would recommend trying the Skewers they were excellent, and skip the pizza. We did stop by and check out the City Perch afterwards and want to come back to try their food as well. We haven't been to the movies in a long time but after our visit we certainly we don't know if there would be any other way to go to the movies and will be back again soon . Parking in the garage was easy we forgot to try and get it validated before we left so we spent $3.00
