Get your pre-assigned tickets online and arrive early so you can sit at the bar and enjoy an adult beverage. Said beverage can be taken with you into the movie along with any candy or popcorn from the concession stand. The seats are comfortable and the screen and sound quality are what you'd expect from a purpose built theater. Prices are fair about $17/‘movie

Great movie theater. I especially like picking my seat in advance. I walk with a cane. No pushing and shoving to get a good seat. Also they have a handicapped door entrance, which is rare. I come early always to get a cup of coffee and chill in their large lounge. They also have a bar. Great place!

Great location, Mezzanine level of the food court at the MontCo Westfield Mall. Wide seats. Awesome snacks, beer / wine if you desire more that soda drinks. Need a refill? Usually good. But for Aquaman at 22:50, dec.31, the bottom of the screen was cut off (it was a widescreen showing). Half of the text was missing. I wasn't sure about the top of the screen.

I really enjoyed this movie theater the seats were very comfortable decor delightful. I enjoyed the popcorn it was very buttery and they did the thing where they put butter in between and then popcorn in the but on top perfect. I also like that the colonel's seemed to have left the shells so I didn't get left with that feeling of popcorn kernels in my mouth. I will return again. The up charge for the ticket is a bit high but it is a more nuanced experience they have a bar.

Starting to become my go to theater because of the reserved seating and it's a clean theater overall. Parking can be tough on weekends and evenings, but the theater is just above the food court. There's a bar when you walk in just past the ticketing kiosks. You can bring the drinks into the theater as well. Love the giant 20+ foot tall picture they put up of the biggest movie of the moment near the entrance. Theaters are pretty clean each time I've been here. Ticket prices are similar as other places. No IMAX. Membership has been worth it. But the website kind of sucks. They do, however, need another set of bathrooms near the majority of the screens. There are single person bathrooms but there is always a long line.

Very quiet and comfortable experience. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy the movie and not people chatting or texting. They offer a good assortment of food and beverages at decent movie prices. The purchasing of seats is very quick and easy. I would always recommend picking your seat before you get to the theatre. This makes it much faster to just pick up your ticket and get to your seats. You need to at least give this theatre a try. The hardest part is parking but there is a garage available and all the mall parking. The movie theatre entrance is inside the mall.

It’s not the best nor the worst theater I have ever been to. Not many extras like some of the other theaters have now, but they do usually add a personal touch to your experience. Add that with the bar and small bites, and usually minimal trailers, it’s a solid movie going experience.

Love this theater! The seats are comfortable (not too soft) and u can choose your seat in advance which I really like. Also, the screens are nice and the place was built recently so it's big and clean and nice. Lots of bathroom stalls and they are clean and spacious. Customer service is very good. Their hot consession food is the only thing they can improve on. It is too salty and does not taste good. Their pre packaged foods are fine though.

Did President Trump say the economy is great?? Boy! Is he ever right. The new Momma Mia film I'd playing at ArcLight. I was to meet a friend at the theatre, which is in a large mall. It took me half an hour to find a parking space-- far away from the movie. Movie goers and shoppers and diners en masse. But the theater is a nice one. Totally redone a while back, with several different films playing at once, and 2 theatres playing the same film at different times if it is a hot one. There are plenty of places to eat if you want to, from really cheap to fancy/pricey. Plus Nordstrom at one end and Macy's at another. Plus a gazillion small specialty shops on both floors. Ted Lerner, who is a fabulous builder/developer, built the mall when most of this now area was just dirt. He knew what he was coming.

If there was zero stars I would rate them zero stars. They would not let us into the theater because of a “policy” that there were no late entries. ( we had already bought tickets) We were only 10 minutes late. We asked to speak to the manager to get our money back but they said they couldn’t. The manager said that the only thing he could do was give us rain check tickets or credit for another show. We said we wanted to get into the show because our schedule is full for the rest of the week. They would not let us into the show nor give us our money back. So we ended up getting the rain check tickets. When we were about to leave the manager said to us “enjoy your movie and next time don’t be late” Everyone that worked there was so rude, I highly recommend to not come here.

Arclight is one of the best theaters in the area and it has some tough competition with iPic and upgraded theaters elsewhere. I believe it's the best theater for the price. The staff here is fantastic. I love that they talk to you prior in person and explain where the emergency exits are, etc. It feels like old times when service was far better and more personal. The seats are very comfortable, the screen quality is great, and the sound quality in the theaters is consistently excellent. Membership is well worth it. I get discounts on concessions almost every time I go.

This recently renovated cinema offers the best moviegoing experience in the area. They always have a large selection of the newest movies you want to see. There is a huge concession stand that offers more than your standard movie cinema fare. Very comfortable full back chairs for seating. Prices tend to be a little high, but that doesn’t deter me from going here to see a movie.

I love this place, however, I think the chairs are less comfortable, if you want a more comfortable experience then visit Regal Cinema 13 or AMC Rio which are both near options. However, it is very convenient that it's above a food court, if you're hungry before or after a movie, there's a good food court with places like Cava, Chick-fil-A, Jamba Juice and a lot more. So if I were to paraphrase, if you want a more comfortable experience, visit Rio or amc, if you want a place where you can enjoy things like food and stores nearby, visit this theatre.

If you love sitting in a hot theater for 2 hours and spending tons of money on movie tickets ($17 standard movie ticket price) and food, this is the place for you. I’ve been here multiple times now and I’ve finally had to give it a review. The theater is so hot everyone complains and the staff do nothing about it. Parking is horrid too. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Arclight cinemas is in the Westfield Montgomery Mall. They have a bar and of course the regular cinema fare of popcorn and other junk food. Ideally you arrive at the theatre well in advance, you can eat at the "dining terrace" where the food choice is amazing. Go to the Arclight lounge to have a drink. They have a good choice of Craft beer including one of their own craft Arclight Blonde by Seven Locks brewing and Lot 3 IPA and Surrender Dorothy Rye. There are bottle holders in every seat. The best thing about Arclight is that before every show a human being appears and inspires the crowd to shut off their phones and enjoy the movie. Nice touch. I'll be back.

An employee came in and gave us the rundown on rules and then the projector went straight to preview trailers. Gave my friends and I a chance to enjoy quiet conversation before the movie.

I appreciate this theater for having late-night movie times. It also handled the Avengers End Game crowds really well. Despite the crowds, the staff was very friendly and the theaters were clean. There are 3D rooms and smaller rooms with stadium seating so you have options on seeing movies in different ways.

I don't see what the big deal is about this place. The ticket prices are ridiculous. The lobby is nice but the concession stand is overpriced and lacking variety. The theater was dirty, gross stains all over the floors. I'd rather spend my money at the theater in downtown Rockville or at the Rio in Gaithersburg. Sad part is, I was super excited to go here because so many people I know had a great experience.

I love this place, however, I think the chairs are less comfortable, if you want a more comfortable experience then visit Regal Cinema 13 or AMC Rio which are both near options. However, it is very convenient that it's above a food court, if you're hungry before or after a movie, there's a good food court with places like Cava, Chick-fil-A, Jamba Juice and a lot more. So if I were to paraphrase, if you want a more comfortable experience, visit Rio or amc, if you want a place where you can enjoy things like food and stores nearby, visit this theatre.

If you love sitting in a hot theater for 2 hours and spending tons of money on movie tickets ($17 standard movie ticket price) and food, this is the place for you. I’ve been here multiple times now and I’ve finally had to give it a review. The theater is so hot everyone complains and the staff do nothing about it. Parking is horrid too. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Arclight has done a really good job of reviving the whole Montgomery mall movie scene. The first thing to notice is the food court in the bottom level has been completely updated with good food including such places as Cold Stone Creamery fie desert. When you go to a movie there or you can book your seats ahead of time, go to the bar to meet friends before hand and take a glass with local beers from Maryland into the show.

Tried to attend a matinee showing of a children’s movie with my husband and two children. They require that you buy an infant ticket for $17.50. Considering that when I bring a lap child to the movies I hardly get to watch the movie myself (I obviously leave the theater if she is crying), I will absolutely not pay double to not even get to see the movie. Our family will not be attending movies here.

ArcLight Cinemas have to be some of the top cinemas in the nation. I watched the Dolby version of A Star Is Born and I could hear wind during the parking lot scene that I didn't hear in another theater. Great sound, seats and projectors.

Well this is a good place. Nice selection of movies and others. This is an interesting story here: I forgot what day but there was a charity run going on in the mall. I was scheduled for a movie around 11am. The mall website said the mall was open, arclight's website said open too. We got to the mall around 10:15 and the parking lots were blocked off by traffic cones. We found a road behind a gas station to get in. Half the doors in the mall were locked and the place deserted. Arclight was open and everyone there was VERY confused that there was nobody in the mall or any people arriving to watch the movies. After things were cleared up and the manager of arc was contacted, apparently the mall forgot to tell arclight that the mall was closed that day. The person who was supposed to tell arc was overwhelmed and fired from all the problems caused by the event. After the affair a couple arc workers left and a few offered to stay behind and inform anyone else that came to the theater from online tickets. Leaving, a cone was blocking the path out. People that had got trapped in, or some arc workers picked up a cone and threw it off to the side to let people out.) This is a story that happened (if you are wondering, I did not see the move and all online tickets were refunded) very nice staff

I was excited to see a movie at the Arclight. This was the first time I went and I wont be going back again. First it was very confusing to find the theater and the entrance. There wasn't much signage indicating where the theater was located and once you do get into the mall, it's was located in an obscure area in the mall. When I arrived there was a desk near the entrance with a line so I thought this was a place you had to show your tickets or buy them. I waited in line for 10 minutes before the woman at the counter rudely said if anyone has tickets you can just go in. No one asked to see my tickets, so I could have just walked in without paying.

Me and my friends went to the movie theater to watch end game and they told us since we’re late they have to follow a policy by not letting us in the movie and wouldn’t give us a refund. After he gave us rain check tickets and told us to enjoy the movie.but we still couldn’t see the movie. And we were just talking to the managers. The most annoying thing to me was that we were the ones missing the movie so I. D.o.n.t know why they care. We were also only 10 minutes late.

Regal and neighboring theaters are far better. For the price of this theater I’d expect at least good seats. Old theater style, most regal around the area have reclining big seats, and if you get a large drink it’s free refills. Can’t even do that here. Over priced, old, needs to be redone.

Amazing movie experience exceptionaly clean seats and floors you can see the staff work very hard to keep it clean when people leave turned over buckets of popcorn on the floor, but when they are done you cannot even tell a mess was there. The people who check your tickets are also cheerful and kind. This is a very good theater for all!

Amazing movie experience exceptionaly clean seats and floors you can see the staff work very hard to keep it clean when people leave turned over buckets of popcorn on the floor, but when they are done you cannot even tell a mess was there. The people who check your tickets are also cheerful and kind. This is a very good theater for all!
