This is an OK theater. I just left and the screen appeared to have water or dust on it so the movie wasn't very clear. Reclined seats, but nothing special. It's not in the best area, so don't leave any valuables in your car and park in a well-lit area. The bar in the theater is NEVER open and it's nearly impossible to get a drink. They DO take AMC preferred guests in the separate line first (which is nice if you pay for it). The butter and salt for the popcorn are almost out or only one butter dispenser works and the soda machines are very finicky. If you're looking for a 'cheap' movie with decent seats, come here. If you want something a little safer and nicer, head to the Rockville Regal. They also have a nice bar, World of Beer across the street.

Convenient location, nice to reserve your seats. Large, reclining chairs that are comfortable. Only complaint is that the screens are small but not too bad. Cool that they have food and a bar along with snacks, but movie theater food/snacks are already way overpriced so be careful!

Tuesdays are $5s. That's great. Love the reclining seats. We bought the last row seats at this location and that's too far. It was like watching a movie in a 65" tv. Once I was in the second row and it was not that bad. Sounds were ok. Seats were not fully cleaned. Found some trash after recline the seats. Crew was friendly and helpful. Overall this is a good location.

Concession staff was rude even though we were the only ones in line. As a Matter of fact, all the staff we interacted with seemed rude and unwilling to put forth any effort for the simplest request, like a replacement set of 3D glasses. Screen number-one was very lacking. All seats have to look up at the small screen. The reclining seats are visually bolted to the uncarpeted floor. It feels like the theater spent the cheapest they had to meet the new AMC branding. It all comes across as an oversized home theater. Very disappointed. This location is not worth the movie experience.

Went today for an 11:30 show. The person taking money for ticket purchases didn’t really know what she was doing, nor did she explain that the screen used to show available seating was inverted. Therefore, when I chose seating that looked to me to be at the back, and mentioned as such, she said nothing, leaving me with seats under the screen. An attempt by my hubby to rectify the seating misunderstanding was met with rude responses. Then we got a large drink and large popcorn, for $16! The popcorn was stale and cold...yet we were at an 11:30am show. It should’ve been fresh. The movie was good, but the experience was less than ideal. For as slow and early as it was, they could’ve done better.

Really impressed by what this theatre has turned into. Nice big areas, comfy roomy recliners, polite helpful employees (one girl even carried my snacks right to the row we were in, Yay!), nice snack bar and bathrooms are always clean. We keep coming back so thanks guys!

Positives: They have comfy reclining seats. The temperature isn't too cold or too hot. There is plenty of free parking available. There's a lot of nearby places to go grab a bite. Buying tickets and getting in is easy. The screens are fine and there is no issues with the volume. Negatives: The staff is not friendly at all. In fact, they're actually quite rude. If you go on Tuesdays, because of the discounted tickets, there'll be a lot of people and they're usually rude and ruin the experience. Their bar charges insane prices and the drinks are heavily watered down. The concessions is a mess and overpriced. If you get anything other than the popcorn or prepackaged items, you are throwing your money away, because they will mess it up. The bathrooms are always messy and dirty and disgusting. Basically, to have a good experience, go there, watch the movie and get out. Don't buy stuff, don't use the restrooms and don't go on Tuesdays.

I really wish I couldve given this place 5 stars, since its so close to my house, but the sound of the movie was so muffled, and the screen looked as if it'd been cleaned with oil. If I want to actually enjoy a movie, I'll just rent it and listen to it through my headphones. The one good thing I can say is that they have seats that recline almost noiselessly. That was pretty much it for me.

A pretty good theater, with massive Tuesday discounts. The seats are comfortable recliners, wider than most. Food is pretty decent (I recommend the curly fries). My biggest complaint is that the recliner buttons are on the inside of the armrest, so I find myself constantly tapping them while I watch.

Great theater. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Delicious popcorn and polite staff. Not hard to find the room and the seats are comfortable. The parking lot isn’t so big but I never had problem to park. Never too crowded so it’s easy to buy a ticket at the last minute.

They really did a great job renovating the old theater to this AMC. I haven't tried the bar/bar food, but the proximity to the mall definitely doesn't hinder parking or traffic issues for the theater. Customer service is great, to date it has always been clean when I go and AMC continues to give great deals for movie watching so we will definitely return!

My favorite movie theater of all time. I just wish they had more showtimes and later shows. This theater is always clean and is never overcrowded and the staff is always friendly. The Eatery menu is just right, not too many items just enough. Also they have this self-serve soda machines so you can mix up your own concoction I have Sprite LOL. I definitely recommend this whether it be with family friends or a first date night

OK place with pretty small screens. Not the worst theater, but not the best either. Clean enough, but not spotless (the bathrooms were filthy). I've given them two stars because at a recent showing their power dipped momentarily. The sound came back on, but the power did not. The crew scrambled (if moving about slowly and cluelessly is "scrambling") to fix it, but they could not fix it quickly. The only time any AMC employee shared any info with the crowd was just to tell them to wait patiently, didn't offer any solutions to a theater filled with parents with little kids that don't have patience... After waiting in the dark for 15 minutes we decided to get a refund. Unfortunately, the line to talk to the manager was 30+ deep, we were not going to wait more, and just exited. I'm pursuing a refund, but I'm not holding my breath. Probably will just never go back and try one of the other many similar theaters in the area, especially with kids in tow.

I like the spacious seating because, at 6'3", I get cramped I'm regular seats. A real plus is that they all recline. I've going to the earliest shows so there no crowds. The biggest problem is that there are no water fountains so you're forced to buy bottled water for $4.00!!! WTH!?

I was impressed my 1st time at an AMC, to see Hobbs & Shaw. There is a bar inside; open for evening. They can serve beer and wine during the day if you ask the ticket taker. Slurpees & sodas (I don't drink) are at self serve stations. The concessions are nice. Matinees & Tuesday ticket prices are great. There are reclining chairs, not as big as those in Hawaii. So, a big person sat next to me and seemed like they are crammed in the reclining seat. So it's not Samoa big recliners like at Regal or Consolidated on Oahu.

Love this place! Sit comfortably while you watch. You can pick your seats easily as the self purchase kiosks are easy to use. They have love-seats for seating two. Handicap seats are also available. If you have the AMC app, you can pick your seats from the comfort of your home!

I love that there's an actual bar at the theater providing adult beverages & food. I'm busy not a fan of the seating. They're just a li'l narrow 4 me & I always end up accidentally readjusting my own seating due the narrow seating. Outside of that, I like the theater. I also wish they offered some IMAX options.

Well maintained theater. Nice seats. Only issue was little kids, toddlers and babies, in the movie crying loudly and literally running around in the movie theater (a PG-13 movie). I've been there other times and not had the same issues.

This AMC in Wheaton Westfield has very friendly , accommodating staff. The refreshment and drink area is appealing and prices for alchohol are reasonable... especially convenient & easy on date nights.Clean & comfortable inside the theater. A little dark in hall way to theaters., sound system a bit too loud.

This place is amazing. The awesome new seats are so comfy, the atmosphere is wonderful and no, it doesn't smell like "homeless people", whatever that means. It smells like movie theater popcorn... I love having a nice theater in Wheaton and I pretty much exclusively go here.

Decent experience in the theater. The chairs were comfortable. However, I do not go to the movies often, so I made the mistake of buying a child's ticket for my younger brother (16 years old). I was always under the impression that a child was someone that could not buy a Rated R movie ticket on their own. In most theaters, they would say nothing and have zero issues, and that is why I never noticed. But in this theater, they went out of their way to charge me the extra 3 dollars for the one ticket. I'll never return to that theater. This is just a personal issue, so I deducted two stars, but for others it would a fine establishment.

The theater was aesthetically pleasing and had pretty comfy seats. The only problem was that the price for the food was kinda high and there are no ushers to take out the families who bring in their out of control kids. Overall though it was a nice experience and I probably would go again.

This AMC in Wheaton Westfield has very friendly , accommodating staff. The refreshment and drink area is appealing and prices for alchohol are reasonable... especially convenient & easy on date nights.Clean & comfortable inside the theater. A little dark in hall way to theaters., sound system a bit too loud.

3D film, billed as 3D, priced as 3D, in a theater signed as 3D, is not 3D. Of course, one must sit through half an hour of previews to discover this. Queried, management responds that the theater in question cannot project 3D films. Total waste of an evening. How do you screw that up? Other experiences were so-so; this one is the nail in the coffin.

I’m often surprised by this theater. Parking is never an issue, lines are short, and it’s always relatively clean or in the process of being cleaned. I usually expect the worst it being so close to a mall! Hubs and I are A listers and this theater has yet to disappoint.

This is a nice theater that is conveniently located. There is also a good amount of parking available. We attended an early evening show, and we had most if the theater to ourselves. The seating in the theater is great! I love the recliners. There is a lot of personal arm space as well. It is much easier to relax and enjoy the show when you're not worried about the person next to you getting a bit too close. I really enjoyed this experience, and I'll be back for the next big release.

This is my regular theater with very comfortable seats and somewhat clean. At times there's a mess where they have the butter and also in the bathrooms. Now, concession... very very slow. Most of the times they have one person taking orders and another serving. When there's a line, forget about it. But in general, it's ok.

Poor cell phone reception -- if you want to check the internet for whether you should stay through the credits or best time to take a child to the facilities, do it before you arrive.

I love this theater and what it is becoming. Their recliner seats are probably the comfiest I've ever been in. I enjoy the set up, I enjoy that its a relatively quieter and smaller theater. Friendly enough staff where so long as you have your ticket purchased and on your phone? You're not going to run into problems. Little side notes for improvements? I'd love to see an IMAX screen put in here. I understand because of the way the theater is built, this may not be feasible but honestly its the one thing that's missing from this being a truly great experience. Or upgrade the sound system to give those high blockbuster movies truly worth watching at this location. While it's super convenient for where I live, I will travel to watch bigger blockbusters elsewhere.

Sign up for their Premier Membership for $15/yr and when you buy your tickets online the convenience fee is waived. It is a great buy, if you enjoy going to the movies often. You get reserved seating as well. You also acquire points to either get a couple of dollars off your future purchases. You can also get in a special Premiere line and "cut line"/be next in line due to your paid Premiere membership. Google it and you will see.

You can also use your Moviepass here! We can't speak about the concessions here since we've never used it

I changed by two star rating to 1 star. Go elsewhere and be comfortable. Sit close! Those perfect middle seats in the middle of the theater are too far from the small screen. Watching movies here is like being in your family room and watching that 32 inch flat screen. Something needs to be done as the screens are too small. The restrooms, if you're in theaters 1-3 are way, way, way too far to walk. REMEMBER, sit 2 to 3 rows closer than you normally would sit.

July 2018: I've been coming here pretty regularly the past few weeks and the last 3-4 times I've noticed everything seems pretty good except for the bathrooms. They REEK!!! :( You just walk by and you can smell them. They smell horrible inside. I now try to hold it until I get home thats how bad it smells. I have been to night movies and day movies at noon at the bathroom still smells! AMC needs to clean their bathrooms!!! The only thing keeping me here is the comfy seats and the proximity to my house. June 2018: We love this theater! Comfy seats and we love that you reserve seats. The theater is small but great for our neighborhood. Food items are expensive but what theater isn’t? Become an AMC premier member and save on tickets and food. If you aren’t a premier member the concession line can be long.
