Went to see Aquaman, great movie!! Theatre comfy with reclining seats. However, I went specifically to AMC seeking pretzel bites and uh, there were none available so.. also ticket girl preoccupied with her phone. Great customer service shall reign again with checks and balances. Due your due diligence and leave a comment people.

Too unorganized and ghetto, people on the phone, talking, texting, you name it and it was being done. No movie staff came in to check for issues. Food is extremely important high for fried foods that weren't even good tasting, just straight heart attack food. Never again for me.

I wanted to give it 4 to 5 stars but I just couldn't. I took my daughter out for a nice dinner and movie to celebrate the awesome job she's been doing in school and around the house and it fell short when we got to the movie theater. I had to trash my little girl dinner she had left and she wanted to save for when we got home. It wasn't open but it wasn't in a bag. I wanted to leave but my lovely daughter wanted to stay, so she just said she would throw it away sadly which we did. But it's crazy to me that you have people drinking up a storm and trash everywhere.

Went to go see The Lion King. Had a gift card wanting to redeem so Normally, I would not post such a low score, but I think all AMC locations should hold the same type of standards. This particular location has deplorable conditions at the beverage station. Not only did a purchase three movie tickets, but purchased concessions as well. Cashier 8326 was very polite and kept apologizing for items that were not available. Why offer a special and cannot fully provide what was purchased. I ask another worker could I obtain a larger beverage, ( because all flavors of the Icee machine was inoperable). She was not able to honor my request. Nor was she willing to assist for items not available as purchased. This is the only location that the upkeep is below standards.( that I have viewed) .I like that this location is closer to my home, but I have driven to other AMC locations ( Columbia, Owings Mills) , and this is definitely not the conditions you see throughout the theater. Do better, be better AMC.

The reclining seats are nice...... When clean. But this place is poorly managed. If you want a snack be prepared to wait over 30 minutes. The few times I've been there I see 4 or 5 people pretending to sweep the hallway while there's 1 person trying to handle a line of 50 people ordering food. There's an express line for VIP members which only makes things more confusing since there's 1 person tending to the register. They are consistently out of items and never have their full menu available. You never see an adult, manager or authority figure around. It's like it's ran by a bunch of teenagers out of school on summer break. Do yourself a favor and drive the 30 extra minutes to a surrounding theater. That's the time you would have spent anyway waiting in line just to be told they can't make any hot food and that they're out of popcorn.

TOO HOT! This is my second movie here in two months. The first, in May, I thought wow I don't need a sweater. But its July now. Tonight I didn't need clothing at all. Everything else was fine. You get to pick your seats. The reclining seats are wonderful. I love the design. Have you ever noticed that the handicapped have to sit in the front at other theatres. Here they have the back rows right near the entrance door. Both times I went it wasn't crowded. Bathrooms were clean and stocked both times. No matter which viewing room your in you are near a restroom. Would have been 5 star had it not been for the ac issue. But it was so hot the seat was sticking to my back. I'll go back in the winter.

The theater and seats were very nice but they were high priced on the snack bar. They need to offer better deals on combos and they were out of hot dogs. Other than that we enjoyed our movie. I've never spent $60 on a movie outing though.

MICE, MICE, MICE!! Management staff has very poor attitude. This theater is very convenient to where I live, but I would rather drive 30mins out of my way for a clean facility and good customer service! I couldn't watch my movie because I was too busy watching the mice! And when I spoke to management their response was indifferent and somewhat rude. Also they need some sort of protection from the elements at the ticket window. And instead of a bar move the ticket taker further into the lobby so you don't have to stand outside waiting for your ticket to be scanned. We only ever choose this theater as a last resort.

They have upgraded so there's no more rats running under my feet that's always good. I usually go on Saturday mornings but I went on a Saturday night and I couldn't $17 for a movie that's kind of ridiculous won't do that again, unless of course I want to date and he wants to pay that. But frankly he and I can go at 10 in the morning if he's for it I'm for it.

Me and my friend paid for our seats, the security escorted us out because someone else also paid for those exact seats, they closed the snack bar at 11:25pm, when I asked for a refund the manager (a guy) slammed the tickets and gave me attitude

I had to stand outside in the rain for a movie ticket and when I finally got into the theater after paying $25.00 for two adult seats. About an hour into the movie I saw a mouse running around on the floor. I picked up my purse because I didnt want to take them home with me but I was totally upset and will never go back again. Plus they just renovated the place. I guess they should have closed while the work was being done cuz why spend all that money to update the theater if you still got mice running around.

New chairs, same Security AMC. I stopped frequenting this location prior to the renovations. But once I heard they spruced things up...I gave it another chance. First 2x were fine. 3rd times the charm. I sat down about 20-minutes prior to a movie so the lights were still on. Got relaxed, then out of my peripheral I see movement on the floor and I catch the hind parts of 2-mice running under the chair in front of me. Then a few moments later I saw one running under my recliner chair. I BOOKED IT outta there to the manager. She was nice enough to refund my money (no convenience fee was refunded as I bought tickets through the AMC app) and informed she needed to call the exterminator. She did not seem surprised and I have a feeling it wasn’t the first time. I recommend skip this place unless you’re prepared to play the floor is lava.

The concession stand was pretty long. We stood in line for 25 minutes. Our seats were broke. The 2 seats we purchased didn't recline. However, the manager compensated us for our tickets. Also, the atmosphere was pretty cool.

The movie is usually delayed. The theater will be sticky. You chair may not work. The soda machine will give you syrup water because the carbonation tank was not changed. This theater is never my first option

It's a decent theater, but not my first choice. Some of the recliner chairs don't work, and they could do a better job cleaning the theaters too. Also, every time I go there someone always brings their crying baby, even during late night shows. Also most people that go there don't follow the movie theater etiquette.

AMC stubs list member so I only go to AMC theaters . This is the closet one to me. It really is a hit or miss. Sometimes it's really clean and not crowded. Then other times it's crowded and the maintenance is not up to par. I like the fact that there is a mall right next to it.

They should have two people doing tickets one that's scanning online tickets and one for people who need to buy tickets to save time for the people who already paid.

This is one of the best movie theaters I been to in this city and I lived in it. I just moved to the area that theater is in and I have to say its awesome the service is fantastic, I got my popcorn in less then 8 seconds. The reclining seats are vary comfortable and they recline too... AWESOME! The bathrooms are kind of clean but better then the White Marsh bathrooms. Over all this theater is good. 4 1/2 out of 5 if I could.

We had a family outing at this movie theater on Monday 04/29/19. My grandson wanted to see the latest superhero movie I believe it was The Avengers. We stood in this long line to get the regular hot dogs, popcorn and soda. I finally got to the front of the line to order. I looked and saw 6 hot dogs spinning on the hot dog machine. I order two hot dogs one for me and one for my grandson. The guy looked at me and said "they are already taken" I asked by who ? He responded "anything else"? But by who I asked again? My daughter had to let me know that they possibly belonged to the prime customers. Ok but if you see a long line then why haven't you put on more hot dogs. This guy never even brother to answer me. I order chicken fingers, and popcorn. The popcorn was stale, the chicken fingers was horrible. This movie theater is over price with bad customer service and stake food. I have to wonder if the prime customers popcorn was fresh and if their chicken fingers and hot dogs was on point. Because for me and my family our experience with this over price movie theater was horrible. I am glad that you renovate this building but you also need to renovate customer service.

My favorite AMC location, the most convenient to my home. The management in the day time is the best. The new recliners are my favorite and the new entertainment snack bar is enticing. I recommend you join the Stubs or A- list membership, the perks are great. They also have a bar it opens at 2 pm.

AMC security square 8 is a recently remodeled movie theater. Unfortunately it is a chain so it lacks the charm of an old independent theater. And isnt that large so you don't get the heavily staggered seating of some larger theaters in the area. But you can almost always get a ticket and it never gets super crowded. And the do serve alcohol and have all the associated movie snacks and food. To put simply I'd only recommend if you can't find decent seats somewhere else or if it's the closest theater to you.

The theater is decent at best. But there is something wrong with the audio playing on screen 6. The audio is coming only from the front speakers and is too quiet, to the point you sometimes can't tell what is being said. That's fine for a lot of movies, but anything action/fantasy/comic movie related, it is the worst.

Normally I would give them more store because since they re did the theater it has been an awesome experience everytime but on this day it was cold outside the line was long and slow I ended up paying for my ticket right in the line cause of how long it was taking so then I skip the line and get inside get my food get in the theater and what do you know the seats I specifically paid for were taken and I know it's not totally the theaters fault for someone not sitting in their right seats buuutttt they need to come up with a better system to see the lights on the floor after the lights have dimmed down instead of someone having to pull their phone out to shine it in the floor to see the lettering ..maybe someday they could incorporate some type of light on each sides of the walkway that's not too bright to disturb the other movie goers but bright enough to still be able to see where you are seated after the lights have gone down other than that I had a good time watching my movie

We almost always have several issues with this place in some capacity. If it wasn't 5 minutes from our house we'd never go. Several times we've gone there the person who's supposed to scan tickets at the door wasn't available and we ended up just walking into our movie without being scanned in. The line situation inside confusing. People are always going into the VIP line who AREN'T VIP... And they wait on them anyway. There's a toxic smell from the popcorn machine that gives me an instant asthma attack, but it only tends to occur during peak hours on the weekends. (We asked about it once and they told us 'why' , though I can't remember the excuse I DO remember my bf and I laughing about it afterwards because it was obviously a blatant lie.) The bathrooms are almost never completely clean no matter what day or time you go. Trailers were so loud once I got a headache before the movie started. Other people were also complaining and when I went to talk to someone they just said 'the trailers are always louder than the movie'. No one even went in to check. So many little announces add up to being a poor overall experience. But, again, it's only 5 minutes from our house and if we don't go on Friday or Saturday nights at least the weird popcorn burning smell that kicks off my asthma doesn't occur... That stuff CAN'T be good for the employees.

Everything here is gross and dirty. The bathrooms are disgusting, there is pee all over the seat in every single stal, there is water all over the floor and they never have tolite seat covers. Also the carpet is covered in popcorn, trash and dirt. But it does have low prices.

I love going to AMC on Tuesday to catch a discounted movie. This theater is newly renovated with a bar area and the cinemas offer reclined seating. It's best to buy tickets online because seating is reserved. Great place to take the family for an outting.

3 stars because it's close to home and the seats are comfortable. If you go at a time where there are very few teenagers, great experience. Adults make less of a mess and don't talk on their phones during the show. Any other time, not so great. The staff is young and super friendly, but there often aren't enough people working, so the cleanliness of the theater often suffers. There is also a HUGE problem with outside voice conversations happening during the films. I know we can't control people's behavior, but the establishment should do more to make sure everyone is having an enjoyable experience. Going to the movies is too expensive these days to have to walk on a sticky floor with popcorn on it, then listen to someone's phone conversation.

I was impressed with the seats. AMAZING AND AMAZING. The staff was amazing. Great customer service and they have a BOOZE BAR, kinda pricey but worth it. It is now my AMC theater for movie viewing.

The theater was clean but, since Blacks don't know how to act in public ( Turning on there cell phones during the movie, loud talking, bring unruly children, and acting like the theater is your dirty nasty home buy throwing there trash on the floor rather than putting it in the trash at the door on the way out. It's decent. This location could use better management when it comes to long ticket lines, though! There always seem to be ONE person handling long lines for ticket purchasers! I waited almost twenty-five minutes to get a ticket to see the movie! They were fair though. Due to the slow moving lines (the concession stand seemed to have had some issues too), they delayed the start time of the show, so thumbs up to them for doing that! Other than that, it's clean. No major complaints.

Security theater was a lot better when it first opened after renovation. I've had some bad experiences in the past which resulted in me calling the police on the many teenagers being disrespectful to staff & security, having my seats double booked, & other small issues. On last night, I went to see US and there were too many kids for them to be enforcing the age policy. My seat also had stuck on food on it. As I'm waiting for the mgr., I noticed it's the same mgr. That I've spoken to on at least 2-3 other visits. The family in line wanted a refund so the mgr. apologizes and gives them passes. She responded to my issue by asking what I wanted: a refund, a pass, etc. My response was my seat cleaned first because my intention&plan was to see the movie. Lately I haven't been able to come on a weekend, and the occasion be pleasant. One restroom was taped off. The concession stand was unkept as usual. There needs to be more regulation, training, and police presence. I have written to corporate, but apparently these things dont matter.

Staff was amazing! Only problems were my seat was possessed, and the walls are too thin, we could hear the movie next door. And the prices, but we all expect the ridiculous prices at this point. As for the chair, there's a button apparently that you end up sitting on. I just spent some time going up and down.

I am visiting from moving away some years ago and went to see Widow with my bestie. Security Square Cinema has definitely changed. Those comfy lounge chairs and roomy isles are definitely a plus. Great experience.

The theaters are enormous. They have recliner chairs so u can relax comfortably while enjoying the film. The place is so spacious that people can't put their foot up on the back of the chair. It's a good place to see a film.

Staff friendly and helpful . The new remodel is nice so nice that I became a stuns member. The bar is also a nice touch of you're a movie goer like myself. The downside is before the remodel there was a rodent problem. Sad to say to rodent problem is back bigger and better. Walked out of a movie 10min in ...fix it guys!

HORRIBLE, i went to the movies on 2/1/19 . You have to buy tickets outside in inclement weather. No option to purchase inside at the guest services desk. I went to see Glass @730 and the intial sit down was nice the theatre seemed pretty clean and the seats were recliner. However, the cashier had no customer services skills what so ever and once the previews began I seen 4 mice. Yes I counted because I couldn’t focus on anything else but then disgusting little creatures.

AMC security square 8 is a recently remodeled movie theater. Unfortunately it is a chain so it lacks the charm of an old independent theater. And isnt that large so you don't get the heavily staggered seating of some larger theaters in the area. But you can almost always get a ticket and it never gets super crowded. And the do serve alcohol and have all the associated movie snacks and food. To put simply I'd only recommend if you can't find decent seats somewhere else or if it's the closest theater to you.
