This is an absolute gem of a place in Saco Maine. If you haven't been here before I cannot recommend coming here more. The nostalgic atmosphere is wonderful! I try and make it at least once a summer sometimes more. Bring some chairs, blankets and some bug spray for this experience. This is a great spot to bring the whole family, friends and all! The only complaint is that the popcorn is usually stale and the snack shack doesn't have the best food so I would advise bringing your own, if you plan to stay for the double feature. Their prices are very reasonable though so swing in grab a soda an ice cream bar and some candy!

You know it's just really old watching modern movies on a screen that you can barely see and a radio station that's incredibly weak. This is the last vestige of Americana that remains and it's being left to rot. Serious improvements lead to be made or I'm not going to return when we were kids we could go there and smoke weed and get laid in the woods behind the place. Once we actually started paying attention to the movie, we realized the truth.

It all started here for me in the late 80s when I came with friends to watch the original "Die Hard" and "Batteries not Included". One of the last Drive Ins around! The folks who run this place do an amazing job and have kept this place going. Great movie selection, good assortment of hot food and drinks. Nice family atmosphere. I have frequented this place since a child and now bring my own family several times per season. My favorite high school history teacher use to run the old projector (RIP Mr. Galbraith) and it was always great to see him here. A couple years back I joined the local car club for a private showing of "Fast and Furious" which was super cool. Looking forward to many return visits!

Awesome experience. One of only a handful of drive-ins that I have seen in years. Great picture and sound. Great prices. Wonderful movies. Concession stand a little pricy, but that should be expected. Fun time had by the entire family.

My first ever drive in movie, and I'm only in my fifties. If you want the classic experience this is the place. Though the screen faces the parking spaces at an odd angle, it's not much of a problem. If you don't want to run your car engine the whole time find an app that'll let you receive 88.1 FM on your phone before going.

Too many large SUV's in front of us. They do try to limit the larger vehicles to the 5h row and back, but that's still not enough. Concession stand was way under staffed. They need a second cashier. I counted 41 people ahead of us when we entered. One gentleman approached me when I was almost at the cashier to get him a coffee if he gave me the money just so he didnt have to wait. All that said, the owners have done an incredible job turning this place around. Everything is well maintained, clean and very reasonable prices!! We go several times a year and will continue to go. Just wont go on an opening night of a movie again.

Usually I love the drive in, but tonight I'm irritated. It's funny how it's ok for some SUV's to park where the compact cars park, and not others. Lost all respect and will not be returning as rules are only inforced for some not all

The screen quality is great but you or your family will need a comfortable spot in your vehicle because that is the hardest thing, and I don't suggest a blow up matress unless it has support so it won't pop, all SUV's are great you'll just need some blankets, car honestly just sit back and look through the windshield

So much fun! Only time I've been to a drive in, it was a great experience! All the kids were playing in the back field before the movie started, which was a lot of fun! You can go in pjs and just relax and watch the two movies they show! Can't wait to go again!

Have not been to a drive since I was a kid. However this was a decent location to being the family too. Didn't have pizza on opening night, now there was plenty of popcorn and snacks. Prices were fair. Cost was 15 bucks for 2 movies. Deadpool 2 and super troopers 2. Thought that was amazing. Defiantly worth going once if you have never been or it's been too long.

This is a pretty good drive-in. The screen is decent and the projector is recently updated. The movie selection is usually really good through the summer and aside from one time, when the snack bar was understaffed on a Wednesday, the concessions are good as well. If you like an outdoor movie experience then I do suggest the Saco Drive-in.

Just a classic drive in experience. But it shows its age. They need to paint the screen as you can see some of the peeling paint when the projector shows lighter colors. Maybe that adds to the charm?

Only a few drive ins left in the state. I would suggest taking a car so you can park out front. It's nice you can bring your own food and drinks. The quality of the film does not seem great, but it's ok.

So few drive ins still exist anymore. I went to this place as a kid and saw Robocop 2 and Total Recall. More recently we saw Spiderman: Far from home. The concession stand is exactly the way i remember it. The bathrooms are dated, but have a rustic charm. Also a urinal trough. In any case, they upgraded from the old speakers that would hook onto your door to a low powered FM station. The audio fidelity is literally as good as your car's stereo. The sack drive in is always a fun trip for the family and relatively inexpensive for 2 movies, unfortunately they dont always update their website with next weeks movies, which are at the moment Aladdin and avengers end game

I love this drive in! You can't get a better deal than this if you're looking to see a movie. The main downside is the late start time that's necessary in the summer because of the light, but nothing beats the experience of the drive in. There's plenty of parking spots, but it does get pretty busy on weekend nights. There's a snack bar and restrooms available.

Going to the drive in is my version of camping. I adore this place and have been going for years. The last two years, though, me and the fam go every weekend we can possibly go. That's how much fun we have. It's at a great location, just off 95, with plenty of food and convenience before you get to the drive in. There is a food and snack bar with plenty of choices and decent bathrooms. The price is unbeatable. This is the best way to see movies with my little, hands down. Don't ever change Saco Drive In.

I have come here several times a year since I was a kid. Always had a great time and loved my experience. After my last attempt tonight I will be going to one of the other local drive-ins instead. Staff was rude and off putting. I will definitely be heading to Prides Corner Drive In next time I want to enjoy a night at the drive-in. I may even drive the extra 20 minutes or so to hit up the Bridgton Drive In, heard a lot of great things about both, but definitely will not be returning here anytime soon.

Do yourself a favor and go see MANY movies here. They have a digital setup that gives a nice clear picture. The people that work there seem to genuinely love it. The concession prices aren't bad either. You can get a whole pizza for about 9 bucks. FILL YOUR CAR WITH PEOPLE AND GO!!!
