Beautifully maintained small theater. Usually is half filled. They also have a collection of historic cameras and old movie posters, which really helps set the mood of the space. It's very clean and young kids love to put their feet on the lip of the stage in the front row. Locally owned and good prices.

Very nice and clean. Good concessions. Has a nice community atmisphere and I love their mission -preserving old footage related to the heritage of the area. I give it 5 stars. It's not a regular cinema and you won't get every new movie coming out but that's not its intent.

We rented the entire theater for a small family lunch party along with a movie . We we brought them our favorite Blu-ray DVD movie and they were able to play it for the entire family. They let us bring our own food for the party and help us setup food tables for our guests in lobby . We were thrilled when they let us choose to put our names on the marquee. What a great time!

Very nice, intimate theater. Small in size with good sound (Dolby 7.1) and visual system. Run by nice people. Try it!

We went to see “Black Panther” on a Sunday. I used to see only the smaller films at the Alamo, but with the updated Screen and sound system, the blockbusters are just enjoyable there too. The movie was just ok, the five stars is for the great Alamo experience. Love that place.

This is the best little move theater. It builds community with its limited schedule. The price of admission the lowest I have ever seen. No weekend in Bucksport is complete without stopping at the Alamo to watch this week's movie.
