A for effort but don't plan on having a theater experience here. More like a High School gym set up watching Drivers Ed films. Charming and "edgy" to be sure but you'd do better waiting for the digital release and watching at home.

A great place to experience interesting films. They have cool foreign and art house films from around the world. The laid back atmosphere makes you feel right at home. I have enjoyed coming here for years and it is always fun.

Wonderful atmosphere, clever cocktails, and a never-ending variety of entertainment. This place is great for the whole family. Check into the annual membership...definitely worth the money. Old Arabi is fortunate to have gained Zeitgeist in the neighborhood!

This place might be funky, but it's totally the kind of funky that makes New Orleans special. They just started a Tuesday bring your own dog night, which rules! Plus, for just $100, you can see every movie they screen. Total deal!

For years this venue showed foreign and art films that couldn't be seen elsewhere in the area, so audiences put up with the terrible projection, funky seats, awful sound and high prices. Fortunately for us there are now other options.

A funky, low budget, local spot. I come to relax on the old couches and easy chairs which viewing non-mainstream movies. They also sometimes have concerts.

Horrible sound quality. Horrible picture quality. I was embarrassed to bring a friend there. It is just a large open room where some guy tossed up a projection screen and speakers that were probably found at a garage sale. Couldn't hear most of the movie because every sound reverberated off of the concrete floor and brick walls.

Very cool spot in a cool part of town. This would be a theater to have a Taste Maker of film select the right kinds of films to enlighten the community. Coffee is great and a place to meet some cool like minded individuals, that is if you have an open mind and are probably someone that likes NPR.
