I am giving this movie theater 2-stars because I do get to watch the movies I want but it needs serious updating. There are broken seats, the theater rooms have a damp smell, restrooms need updating and constant upkeep, I ordered nacho cheese for my kids and even the cheese was given to me cold. I gave it back to the service rep who tried to resolve the issue but he kept asking me to come back at certain times to check on the cheese to see if they were able to get it hot. Each time I returned it wasn't hot and they discovered the lid of the machine was left open. Several times the icee machine hasn't been working or a flavor isn't freezing. Seems like lack of maintenance and training of staff is an issue. Movies tickets are already expensive so you should upgrade your theaters like your competitors around you before you lose all your customers.

Screen was two dark when we went to see Lion King so that ruined the experience. The popcorn always tastes terrible and my hot dog bun was as hard as a rock. I couldn't eat it at all. Not sure I'll ever go back since that was my second terrible experience.

Really awesome cinema place. The screens are a great size and the seats are super comfortable. My only complaint would be that some of the theatre rooms smell like wet mop that's why I cant give 5 stars. If the staff could improve that it would be a perfect experience. Another nice touch that this theatre has is that you can put a lot of butter on your popcorn and add jalapeños.

1 adult + 1 child ticket on a Tuesday at 6pm was $18! Told veterans discount was same as mattene. Don't boy the Skittles in the big machine not working $5 or $10 bucks for 3 or 6 small scoops go to the Dollar Store before the movie for your snacks. No seating in main lobby yo wait for movies. Insane! No alcohol or beer served. Insane! Not modern for 2018.

Considering the high prices, they are insultingly understaffed causing long lines at the ticket and concession counters. The building was obviously designed to have more employees at the established cash registers. I've often seen the security guard taking tickets because there is no one else there to do it. Another case of how corporate profiteering is a slap in the face to their customer base.

Went into the movies and as soon as I walked in I couldn't breathe. The theater reeked ok moisture and mold. I tried sitting through movie but the smell was too strong. I asked for the manager and he apologized and suggested I go into another theater showing the same movie. I tried sitting in new theater but wasn't feeling good from prior smell. The manager didn't seem surprised I told them this. Mold is toxic and makes people sick and this theater is allowing this to happen. The manager should have offered a free movie or concessions. The theater number that smells is #9. Don't go and especially don't bring children to sit in this theater.

This place use to be a great place to watch a movie. I was so excited to be back home to see a movie with my little brother for the first in a long time. We both went to watch Overlord together, half way through the movie the film cuts out on us. We were told that the projectors were shorting out. Which happens I know, but this has happen before to my brother at the same movie theater. This place is in need of a serious overhaul. When the lights came on and we were waiting for some to tell us what is going on. I happen to look up at the air vents, and noticed mildew all around the ceiling tiles. I will not go back to this theater again until it gets some major fixing.

The movie was great ("Us") but this theater kind of sucks. Well, at least the restrooms we're terrible. No soap, no paper towels. Come on people! Also, the sound wasn't great. Otherwise, fine.

The projection of the movies so dim that it drastically takes away from the vividness of the experience. This has been going on for years and it's truly unacceptable. I recommend going to another local theater until management has fixed this problem.

The screen and sound were good. The theater we were in (8), smelled a bit musty, but not overwhelming. The popcorn was fresh just not piping hot the way I prefer. There a small game room off to the side. I'll try to explore it next time.

The entire theater was a shambles every receptacle overflowing Theater not even picked up stuff on floors old cup’s in holders all over theater........ Zero planning for the holidays by management. Theater 12 has a huge yellow smug on the screen. Couldn't take my eyes off it throughout the entire movie. Otherwise good place to watch movies.

The projector wasn't turned on at the beginning of the previews; I had to go out and tell the manager that it wasn't working. The lights never went completely out and the projector wasn't bright enough to compensate. Worst of all, there were artifacts on the screen (sort of repeating triangles on the bottom third of the screen). I also thought it was unpleasantly cold.

A movie theater with current run movies. Nothing special. Area where you salt and butter popcorn always a mess. Also note to movie theater's. If your prices for snacks are double, triple what you pay at the super expensive Walt Disney World they are too damn high. You gotta work out your financial model. Pretty soon everyone is going to have a 4k 72" TV with surround sound they got from Amazon for $299.00.

The Regal Cinemas in Covington Louisiana are the place to go when you want to see a show. the overall place is clean and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The concession stand is always well stocked and the popcorn is fresh. I wish the prices on food work so expensive could you cost you $100 for a family of three even watching a movie but I guess you can't put a price on family time so I was there if it's worth it. They always keep up on the latest movies as well with lots of showtimes available throughout the day and night. A good place to spend a rainy day. My latest visit was the movie I Can Only Imagine. What a great movie it was.

We have been going here sometimes for the summer $1 movies (old kids movies are offered). We've also been a few times for regular movies. The staff is usually nice. The place is relatively clean. My only wish is that they would have $5 Tuesdays for regular movies like AMC does. The concession stand prices are outrageous like every other theater. They definitely need more employees working on days they have busses full of summer camp kids show up. I missed half the movie this week waiting in line to get my kids snacks. I got stuck behind 100 kids at the concession stand.

Start selling more than hot dogs for the tiny tots. Chicken nuggets or grilled cheese sandwiches are an easy addition and relatively clean to eat. Children watch free nights wouldn't hurt either or even eat free nights.

I went to see The Lion King in 3D on Thursday the 1st for the 12:40 showing. The staff at the theater are very kind and seem to work quickly to handle tickets and concessions. However, the theater itself is quite small compared to other major theaters and very outdated in terms of concessions and seating. For example they do not have the updated coca-cola machines or a bar. The seats are 2000s style theater room seats where the seats are old, fabric lined, and rock awkwardly. I would have given 4 stars except but strangely there was a very strong musty/mildew odor in the main lobby and theater room 10. I'm not sure if the theater has been flooded at some point or has a leaky roof and I'm not sure about the other rooms. Overall it was a nice experience- I haven't been to this theater since 2011 and so it was a bit nostalgic for me.

Theater stinks. Literally, it stinks of mold and mildew. 5 bucks for a box of milkduds.... you'd think they could splurge a little on a cleaning company to do it correctly. Damn kids don't know how to clean?! The movie was good though. Brightburn.

Probably the worst movie theater I’ve ever been to. I was kicked out of the theater by a police because my friend recorded a video of a movie on their Snapchat. The officer and manager of the theater were extremely vulgar about the situation, telling us that we should be lucky we’re not getting arrested. From the officers words, I was told that I’m being thrown out because I was with the person who did the video. I should have not been kicked out and the issue should have been sorted in a more professional manner. Avoid this theater at all cost!

This is my go-to place for Fathom Events but I don't think I can handle it anymore. The theater where all the Fathom events are put in smells like mildew, temperature is usually sort of dank and warm. Almost every Fathom screening I've seen had an issue with the lights not lowering, the video cutting out, or the audio being mute. This is like two dozen separate times. Really disappointing... just tired of going and being annoyed every time.

This used to be my favorite theater in the area, but the last two shows we attended, I couldn't believe how dirty the place is. There were bugs in the theater. Both times! Large flying bugs, likely roaches. Completely disgusting. One flew over our heads a few times and landed on the railing in front of us. I couldn't enjoy the movie because I was so focused on where that bug was going next. Last visit, two large bugs were visible on the screen itself, crawling around, disgusting! All I could think of was where are the bugs that I CAN'T SEE....gave me the creeps and I really couldn't enjoy the movie. The place had a terrible smell during both visits as well...no way i'm going back after these last two visits. Husband and I both had bad tasting candy (both times raisinets that we returned). So disappointing because my daughter and I love catching a movie at the theater so close to our home.

I used to love going to this theater for the convenient location, friendly service, and cleanliness. Well, it is still conveniently located. They must have cut staff or something, because there were no workers around except for the ticket taker and the theater was absolutely filthy. After the second substandard experience, I think I will spend the extra 30 minutes to drive to the Grand in Slidell. Really, it was that dirty. We had to kick away a bunch of trash and the floor was really sticky. Yuck. Also, the sound was not perfectly synchronized to the movie. Major fail.

Perhaps I'm used to the new trend of dine-in cinemas. Popcorn, candy were the only food available and the seating is stadium-like but not the nice chairs with plenty of space. Go to Movie Tarvern.

Regal Cinemas in Covington, La. had a lot of updating to do. Their seats are narrow and uncomfortable. You sit right on the next person . Worse than that, we went to the 1st movie of the day and bought popcorn . The popcorn was COLD AND OLD. We returned it and the manager wasn't surprised or interested. I think that I'll stick with the other movie theaters in my area.

With the intimidating and distracting police officers and manager standing in the walkway IN THE THEATRE you'd think they would have at least attempted to quiet the riotous middle schoolers enough to make the movie watching experience tolerable. Seeing as it's not helping, they should reallocate some of the budget from security costs to cleaning... the seat I sat in stank of feces... did not compliment the overpriced popcorn. Still waiting on google to add a zero stars option for dumps like this.

I was very disappointed. I have been going to this theater since they built it and it has gone downhill. The popcorn was horrible!! It tasted old. they were completely out of the salts that you put on your popcorn and they have replaced it with a store-bought one. In the store bought container.

Theaters have comfortable seats with raising armrests. Sound system is nice. Could have a little more leg room it's still worth the visit. Popcorn was good. Soda didn't taste flat

One of the most run down, haggared, janky theaters I've ever been to. No locks worked right on the male bathroom stalls. The entire pre-show audio was a stuttering conniption fit. I called to have them fix it, but got excuses and "I'll tell my manager". Entire place stinks. Picture quality was washed out garbage as well. All of this for a $10 MATINEE! No way. Too many other theaters in driving distance. Avoid this place like the plagues breeding in their carpets.

The kids & I watched Legos 2 here last Saturday and it was a really cute movie! For the most part the theater was nice and clean with just one exception, the butter for the popcorn was not working. The girl that distributes the tickets was very friendly! We had a $25 gift card and she thoroughly explained to me how to redeem it online. Thank goodness we were early because it took about seven mins to complete the transaction. Once it was all complete, we had plenty of time to purchase snacks, popcorn and drinks. We had the best seats in the theater! We had a fantastic time!

Pop corn was freezing cold so my wife went to get another one and the employee got an attitude and told us no we cant get a new one that they just made the batch they gave us. Completely unsat.

The concession service great, temperature great, but soon as you walk into the designated theater you can smell mildew. It ruined the whole experience. I called for the manager and he came with a can of air freshener which he tried to alleviate the odor. It helped a bit but a 4 ounce can of freshener can not be enough. I am a regular customer and I never write reviews but I hope the owners invest more into solving this problem.

Been going here since it was first constructed. Not much changed since it was bought be Regal Cinema. My single gripe is that they started serving Pepsi products after the change. Having Coke products too would be much better. At least the popcorn is great and the bathrooms are clean. Last movie I saw here was Infinity Wars.

This theater is showing its age. Display board with show names, time and theater number has been broken for months. Display above theater entrances no longer work causing confusion. Movie doesn't always start on time. Have had to ask managers to start manually. Maybe a computer upgrade???

Apparently it's ok to just abruptly end the program without making the public aware. At the beginning of the summer I screenshot pictures of the schedule for our theatre. Now when I look at the schedule it states the program has ended. It was supposed to go through September 4th. We dont live close. I drive 40 minutes after getting myself and kids, including a baby, up early and dressed/fed breakfast just so we can do something fun that's affordable. What a waste of one of their last days of summer break! Very disappointed Regal. Especially since you have disappointed numerous children today. There were many of us standing there waiting.

Unclean. The lids for the large cups don't fit the plastic cups. Mine leaked. I ordered a hotdog. One end of the bun was as hard as a rock. They had no onions or relish for the 5 dollar hotdog. The popcorn was stale. Very disappointed with this theater. It badly needs a remodel. The game area in the lobby is also in disrepair. I plan to never visit this theater again.

This is a particularly nice Cinema it's clean you don't end up with sticky shoes. The bathrooms are relatively clean the Staffing on the counter is nice. I almost fell out when they told me how much too small drinks and a large popcorn was. It was over $26! I know there's jokes about how much everything cost very excessive. I have heard, only on rumor, that they also do search for people that bring their own Coke's in. I don't want anybody searching my purse for anyting. I feel like this ridiculous how much they charge. And the cost of a ticket isn't cheap either! I guess I haven't been going to the movies lately. I have not been back to that theater.

I give a 4 star, it's a great place, don't get me wrong, but the workers aren't respectful, especially the younger ones, not mature, they show an attitude when questioned. Other than that, it was really good, the food was good and the theater looked amazing!! :)

We do not live in Covington, LA., so we don't come to this movie theater. I was over for a job with my family and we decided to stop and see a movie. The place smelled like urine and smelly body odor. The bathrooms were not clean. I was also unimpressed with no popcorn/drink combos. The price on a large popcorn was $8.50 which is outrageous! We will never come back here. Never.

Went to watch Toy Story 4 today for my son’s b-day and the screen is not bright enough. It’s like watching a movie with sunglasses on. The last time I was there a year ago, I swore I would never go back because the movie we were watching was like having two sets of sun glasses on. That time I went and told someone as the movie was starting and nothing ever changed. There were only about ten people in there that time and everyone was openly commenting on the darkness of the screen. I’ve been to quite few movies in the last year at other theaters and I can tell you it’s not my eyes. This time I really won’t be back. If you’re going there and you are not going to watch a movie though, the place is ok, but who does that......hahaha
