Very nice theater. Smaller than other IMAX theaters I've been to. It was perfect for the movie that was followed by a question and answer led by the Aquarium reps and the movie's directors. The pictures are of the amazing sculptures made entirely of trash recovered from the ocean that were on display just outside the theater. My pictures do not do them justice. It was a powerful space to attend the screening of this important documentary.

Great sound, not too loud/hard to hear. 3D glasses were on the better side especially for a prescription glasses owner. I enjoyed seeing Tiny Giants with no one kicking the back of my chair. Concession stand only had Pepsi products :(

After a very long hiatus, we revisited the Aquarium of the Americas and Entergy Giant Screen Theater. We were pleasantly surprised and even stayed for a second show!

We saw Galápagos 3D: Nature's Wonderland. Our kids (2&3) almost watched the entire movie with the glasses on. It was their first time. Concession popcorn and nachos were good.

The movies are from the Aquariums of America which are educational films about nature. If you are expecting to see the new super hero movie or other Hollywood offerings think again they're not played here! This is a wonderful experience that shouldn't be missed. If you purchase a ticket for the aquarium the theater is included. I will most definitely be returning.

We saw the secret ocean 3D film and it was great fun, the screen is enormous as advertised and the sound was immersive. I do not always enjoy 3D, however, this was really well done. The glasses were clean, unscathed and fit reasonably well over my normal glasses. My only complaint was that the sound was a bit too loud, however this seems to be a problem at almost every theater so if you don't mind the sound levels at your local theater than you probably won't mind this.

We loved the 3d ocean show. It was about 25 mins. Wish it was longer. My kids loved it as well. We waited for about 15 mins before it was actually ti.e to go in, and while waiting the inside of the place of business was decorated pretty well. Very unique and awesome stuff! Well worth the $$$ and my family and I'd go again. Oh... and the screen is SUPER BIG!

Went w/my family and we had paid b4 the rest of the family got their and my granddaughter had her 13 month old baby with her and they said no children aloud went to see Acrimony ☹️ they returned our money and we went to another movie which accepted us with the baby

Huge theater! There are showings of different natute mini movies with exceptional seating. You can grab popcorn and snacks!

After visiting the Aquarium we went to catch movie here. My son loved the 3D movie Hidden Pacific where we immersed ourselves in the ocean and had a close up view of all the aquatic life.

If you have a chance to see the Katrina film it is a must. Really tells the story. Conveniently located at the aquarium on the river at the edge of the French Quarter.

I went here with my son's school and it was unbelievably amazing, we learned that the more the government allows for our marshlands to be interfered with it's going to cause more damage to our eco system and marine life, the students enjoyed themselves and so did the adults...
