Update - after writing Cinemark, the manager has been Outstanding at correcting our problem. He has gone above and beyond and I must commend him. You can now turn your card into the box office to get your tickets for the upcoming movies, so you aren't turned away. This is the first time in 5 years they have had the summer movies, so hopefully it will be a learning experience for next year. I am happy with the communication I have had, I feel that the manager has done all that he can to make my opinion go back to the 5* rating I had given them before, so I am now changing my review to reflect this. If you have the summer card please go turn it in & get actual tickets so you don't have this issue!! We purchased the card for all 10 summer movies, yet got turned away because it was "sold out". I understand the area you sit is "first come first served", and I would have been fine with the front row, BUT a total of 9 people WITH cards were turned away in the 5 minutes I was there, and another 8 that hadn't bought the cards. The advanced summer tickets they keep track of in a book... I saw it when I purchased mine BEFORE SUMMER, so count the previously purchased tickets before selling more! . OR they have played the movie on over 4 screens before so why not plan for overflow and have another theater ready just in case? I got a discount because I purchased in advance but that does not mean my previously purchased "tickets" should be pushed to the side because (as the ticket counter girl kept saying) "well you got it at a discount so. .". Poor customer service and it makes no business sense at all. This alone has changed my rating from a 5 to a 1. Great going Cinemark.

Couldn't get in touch with management tonight...we were in theater 16 seats J1 J2 and J3 went to see (Us) movie....There were ROACHES crawling on the seats in front of our seats.... This was very disgusting and apparently NOT important enough for management to come to check on the situation.....We left..Very disappointed!!!!

Their website displayed the seat I purchased as normal, but when I got there it was handicapped. Thankfully no one showed up that actually needed it. I also went to buy two snacks that I assumed to at most be $4 since they would normally be $2 combined at Walmart, but when they priced it up it came to $9...

The Cinemark at Perkins Rowe provides one if the best movie-going experiences in the city. I always keep track of what's playing in their XD theatre (equivalent to IMAX-sized screen) to get the best view of the newest flashy blockbuster on the big screen.

This movie theater is ok! Not like Movie Tavern because you know movies are expensive but at least in Movie Tavern you get full meals for about the same price as youd spend buying popcorn and candy here. This place does have reclining seats and XD screenings which is a plus so I'm not gonna knock it if you want to go to a regular theater, I'd choose this one.

Buy your tickets online before you go, have them texted to you, and walk straight to the ticket taker without waiting in like. The chairs are seriously comfortable. This can be a problem if you are inclined to nap when this comfortable. Ticket prices are comparable with other theaters in town. There are a number of restaurants in Perkins Rowe making it convenient to eat out before or after (if you get out of the movie before 9 PM). If you buy candy for the movie check out the Fresh Market before going to the theater. They have an excellent assortment of bulk candies at very reasonable prices.

The theater was filthy and had not been cleaned before the movie I paid to watch. I spoke with a manager and he immediately sent someone to clean the theater. I normally don't have any issues.

Did not know ahead that it was reserved seating. Only seats availible was to front rows. Impossible to watch the movie at that angle. At least give 1/2 price off such crapy seats.

Perkinds Rowe is the #2 ranked theater in Baton Rouge. And Top 5 in the state for sure. Prices are what you would expect, food times vary based on crowd but the XD/3D experience is solid and limited edition specialty shows (i.e. pro boxing fights, Death of Superman, live streamed concerts) are good to check out as well. The theater itself is surrounded by more than enough restaurants and shops to make it worth your while. Ample free parking as well is a plus.

This is a wonderful movie theater. Unfortunately, we don't have one like this in Lafayette. The reclining seats, reservations, and the general organization is really refreshing. If I'm ever in Baton Rouge, and I need to kill time, I definitely know that I'm going to come see a movie at this location again. I really wish we had one of these at home.

I loved it especialy the movie. If you haven't seen Ralph Wrecks The Internet aka. Wreck it Ralph 2 then your missing out. The quality of the movie was good and so was the sound. And i do like how that in the front row seats that the screen is far away just enougj so your neck wont hurt after staring up.

Great seats and I like the assigned seating. The XD theater was cool as the sound system and the projector are really good. The screen seemed bigger too. The only downside is that you may fall asleep since the chairs are so comfy.

I was very displeased with my last visit to this Cinemark. I went to see Pet Semetary which I was very anxious to see. During the whole show, these people in the front were talking so loudly that others were complaining. They didn't hush up. I went to look for a worker to possibly get the people removed so everyone could enjoy the show, but literally NO ONE was to be found. The only worker that was there was a maintenance guy in the concession area cleaning. I was just really shocked that there wasn't one worker available to help, so me and my friend left in the middle of the show because I had no idea what was going on due to the disturbances.

This is hands down our favorite venue for movies. They have comfortable reclining chairs with footrests that extend like a recliner for your home. The sound is great. I believe that they have Dolby Atmos here, but I'm not 100% sure. The concession workers and ushers are usually very polite as well.

Its my preferred movie theatre. It is in a good location, and they renovated not too long ago. The stadium seats have been replaced with electric recliners similar to the Movie Tavern, so you can watch the movie in comfort not cuddling with some stranger. You have typical theatre snacks and food. They may even have hamburgers and wings. I prefer to eat before or after the movie I watch, at one of the resturants by the theatre.

Great place to see the movies you want to see. The atmosphere is relaxing and the people there are always kind. My only complaint is having to choose the seat you have before actually getting to the theater in order to get any kind of decent seat.

This is a very nice Cinemark in an upscale locale that makes coming here a treat for yourself or a great date spot. Parking is an issue compared to other Cinemarks I have been to, but that's not their fault. The staff has been nothing but courteous and accommodating for the two movies I've seen here. They offer a student discount, so be sure to mention it! The XD experience is hard to top other than 3D. Cinemark is always my theatre of choice, so sad they don't have any in the NOLA area. If you join the connections program you'll be rewarded for snack and ticket purchases! I really like the reclining seats.

Solid 4/5 stars. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, the chairs recline, the movies are shown in great quality, and along with regular men's and ladies' rooms, there are two one-stall unisex restrooms. Favorite place to go see my favorite stars on the big screen!

Great cinema. Love the luxury reclining seats. The ability to pick your seats while purchasing your tickets is SUPER DUPER GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!! Ticket & food prices were industry standard. Parking is an interesting feat, “shall I park in front the theater & pay, or self park in the garage for free?” You decide.

I watched around 10 movies here, by now. If you are looking for the best experience, go for XD screens, as the sound quality is far better than the normal screens. 3D screens and many of the 2D screens have good acoustics though. However, I couldn't satisfy myself watching the same movie on one of the 2D screens after I had watched it on XD.

This is my favorite theater in town. I love very the luxury loungers: big comfortable electric powered chairs that recline, extendable, and cup holders. Very comfortable. Best of all tickets come with reserved seating, so there is no rush to show up early and wait for good seats. I buy my tickets early, grab a good meal in Perkins Rowe, wake over just before the movie starts. Makes for a great evening.

The place is cheap to go to, and you don’t spend 200 dollars on popcorn and snacks. We normally buy two tickets, a large popcorn, and a large drink, with one candy, and spend about 35 dollars.

This place was spectacular. I can't say all the things that make this place great. The place is very clean, staff is super corteous, food is great and the seats are amazing. I now know I can't watch a movie in another theater because they will never measure up to this place. Even though we love 2 hours away the wife and I agree we will make the drive just to watch movies here.

This is the best thing for the movie business since Netflix. I can reserve a specific seat on line so i don't have to worry about getting there way early for a popular movie. They have the recliner seats like in my living room

This is one of my favorite theaters in Baton Rouge. The new selectable seats are reclining and comfortable, and there’s a bar now. Love me some popcorn and a Coke. Restrooms are convenient, which is good because a big drink... is big. Friendly staff, lots of parking nearby. You can buy your tickets at a window or kiosk, and if you’re early, you can go to Charming Charlie’s or Barnes and Noble, or pick a restaurant. So many things in walking distance.
