Have had many good experiences here and a few (including the recent one)terrible . I think they need to decide how they're going to do things and keep it one way . It tends to be very chaotic if busy at all. However,the staff for most part are very courteous and helpful . The The facilities are clean and in good condition. Atmosphere is ok( for the most part) for children ,no out of control teenagers or adults. ( however in the past at night especially we've had bad experiences with management not keeping things under control at night ). Again though overall it's nice to have a seven screen theater this close to home and I would recommend it overall .

Everything about this theater beats Bonita Lakes hands down. You can name anything popcorn, clean bathrooms, customer service, and even the movie seats. I understand that they are much small but the only thing I wold like to see change is that they need to do Free Refills. Oh and btw the cheese they use on the nachos does NOT have that weird after tastep that some theaters have. Get ur popcorn "layered" and it tasted even better.

This is a horrible place. My family and friends were kicked out. Would you like it if a manager came and spied on you? Well my family doesn't. So yeah we said something. And what? The manager cried how do you cry when someone is telling you how bad your off brand Malco is. Sorry but if take our money then we might say something. My mom worked for her money. Excuse me manager but all you do is make popcorn and sell drinks (that aren't even good) at the age of 56. That is a sad life. And I kinda fell bad for you.

Being the only theater in town I won't complain much but it's definitely time for a seat upgrade I don't need a recliner like most theaters I have been to recently but I would like to be able to stretch my legs or prop my arms up without feeling like I'm about to hit someone next to that the people are nice and the prices are about the same as any other place.

The theater was significantly cleaner than my previous visit. (On my previous visit I was told the the theater is cleaned once a week.) The management has implemented a scam requiring at LEAST ONE SCOOP OF ICE in patrons' beverages (a 20oz or so beverage for which they are already charging $5.00). If a scoop of ice is refused by a patron, then beverage service is refused by the theater. If ice is mandatory, then it MUST BE ADVERTISED as such, any other practice is in violation of Advertising Law prohibiting add-ons and hidden fees. (Beverages are advertised with prices, ice is not.) On a more positive note, the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

This small local theater has limited screenings but had all the latest movies and had all your standard movie treats. Theaters were Clean, with great stadium seating, and the audio was loud and clear. It did seem pricier then most theaters, offered less then stellar picture quality, and the lighting in theater was a little distracting as it seemed slightly too bright but wasn't too noticable after settling in.

Went to this movie theater instead of the one in meridian because it is a really low quality movie theater and seats are terriable and outdated. But this one has much nicer seats. My only complaint is that the movie sound was WAY to loud we asked them to turn it down and they did and the sound was perfect. We will be coming back here to see movies from now on.

This movie theatre was absolutely disgusting and extremely disrespectful. Due to low volume of clientele , the 56 y/o manager had nothing better to do other than to spy on us bc she suspected we brought in candy. To make a long story short, she began crying and became extremely beligerant and confrontational when confronted. Truthfully, I don't mind the $49 you refused to refund. I understand you may need it, child bless your heart. But I will leave you an additional tip in addition to the stolen funds, as a manager keep your place of employment clean. There were more flies inside than out, no refills on large orders, and the lack of preparation when out of stock was an inconvenience to paying customers. Again, bless your heart, your cinematic manegerial position is extremely vital to society but NEVER let them see you cry sweetheart. Keep your head up

I just want to say for my first experience at the canal place cinema 7 movie theater in Philadelphia Mississippi I wa by far a very nice movie theater they employees there where very nice the ticket price was reasonable for a movie theater I mean everything about that place was just so wonderful that I actually want to apply there for a job that’s how much I like it there I mean it really is a very nice place and the black panther movie which what I went to see for my first movie at that movie theater which by the way was a very good movie but like I said that movie theater was so nice and and so clean and the staff there where so friendly it was amazing so thank you canal place cinema 7 movie theater for a great first time experience you guys are awesome and I look forward to coming there again and hopefully being a employee there

My family of 4 drove 35 minutes to the theatre to watch Maleficent. We had promised our daughter (age 9) that we would take her to see it. She was looking foward to it all week. My husband prepurchased the tickets to ensure we would get to see it. We arrived 40 minutes early to find ideal seating. Upon walking in we were stopped and told we couldn't take a newborn into the theatre. There were NO signs letting patrons know this or anything on the website. We explained to the woman our son would sleep through the movie and if he did begin to cry we would immediately leave.He's 2 weeks old and sleeps about 18 hours a day. She was EXTREMELY RUDE to my husband and myself. She REFUSED to refund our ticket money. If the theatre had a policy it should have been clearly stated. We should have been given our money back. Worst of all we shouldn't have been treated so terribly while my daughter was absolutely devastated. The woman repeatedly turned her back to us while we were speaking with her and at one point suggested that our daughter could go in alone. An unattended 9 yr/old? She told us to leave. Mind you during all of this my son didn't make a peep. I will NEVER return or recommend this theatre to anyone. My husband is a veteran and even though he is no longer in the military we still have to travel for his job. We do things as a family or not at all. When the manager offered us gift passes I asked her what we were suppose to do with them. Come back in two years? She said they would be good in two years. I explained to her that we move around and would not be the area. This cinema is not a chain. Well it's not their problem

Restrooms are pretty clean except for overflowing trash cans. Floors are always sticky in the theater itself, even before the first showing. All the movies start at the same time which makes waiting in the lobby a nightmare. They wait until every last person clears out before letting others in, so I ended up standing in line with strangers squished next to me for THIRTY MINUTES once, people breathing all over my overpriced popcorn. Preordering tickets is also messy. Tried to preorder tickets for The Force Awakens and no one answered the phone, and I called four times during movie hours, and there is no way to preorder online, not even through Fandago or their own freaking site -- that is RIDICULOUS. I am trying to GIVE you guys my money, EARLY. The staff was also a bit cold, and rude. This place needs work.

Was impressed of this local theater here. We watched Power Rangers and The Shack. Customer service was awesome and friendly. The seating was good and comfortable. Only downside is the prices for the popcorn and drinks. Just remember, this place gets really packed when a new movie comes out. Especially on Power Rangers.

We explained to the woman our son would sleep through the movie and if he did begin to cry we would immediately leave.He's 2 weeks old and sleeps about 18 hours a day. She was EXTREMELY RUDE to my husband and myself. She REFUSED to refund our ticket money. If the theatre had a policy it should have been clearly stated. We should have been given our money back. Worst of all we shouldn't have been treated so terribly while my daughter was absolutely devastated. The woman repeatedly turned her back to us while we were speaking with her and at one point suggested that our daughter could go in alone. An unattended 9 yr/old? She told us to leave. Mind you during all of this my son didn't make a peep. I will NEVER return or recommend this theatre to anyone. My husband is a veteran and even though he is no longer in the military we still have to travel for his job. We do things as a family or not at all. When the manager offered us gift passes I asked her what we were suppose to do with them. Come back in two years? She said they would be good in two years. I explained to her that we move around and would not be the area. This cinema is not a chain. Well it's not their problem

Decent theater that gets most major movies. Nice seats until you get to the last two screening rooms then it's hit or miss on whether you get a seat that's comfortable or sitting on a bar or leaning to the side. Fair prices, good location with a few places to eat around it.

This is a nasty theater. Flies were everywhere management was a joke . The blonde 56 year old manager is a joke and racial profiled us. It's sad she is her age Managing a movie theater. Please young people get your education so you won't be subjected to this. She told us to leave and wouldn't return our money. I guess with such low pay she needed my money. Just know that was tip money for me. If you are any ethnic group please avoid this theater.PLEASE DO NOT RETURN TO THE THEATER!!!!!!!!! The seating is horrible ,and the movie screen looks like you could be at your home. As matter of fact my home theater will put this place to shame.The popcorn is also old, and their is no candy in stock so don't ask!!!!!!! Just glad I don't live here to be subjected to this crappy place.

Ticket prices are fair, but food and drink prices are outrageously high. The movie was much too loud for me and the kids. It was ok for a once in a while thing.
