One of my favorite places to see movies. The staff is ultra friendly, the theaters are clean and well kept, with great audio and visual. The only complaints I have is that they removed the arcade, but that's totally understandable; that they're the only one in town, so my review isnt compared to movies close by; and the concessions are EXTREMELY expensive, but market value for a theater. Overall, I always have a great experience going there, so don't hesitate to catch that flick. 5 stars easy.

I was miserable in there. I could not enjoy the movie because it was extremely hot in there. This is the second time I experienced this at AMC Westbank. They need to get the temperature right. I could have stayed home in my comfortable home. Awful. I was trying to fan myself with my napkins. My granddaughter was very irritable.

I remember coming to this theater when it first opened. I really love what they did with the remodel here. Its identical to the AMC Clearview. All seats are leather and full reclining. As a result, there are less seats. Upon purchasing the ticket, you have to preselect your seats. If its a popular movie, please go early. I used to hate going to this location, but I love to go now. I love what AMC is doing with their theaters.

It's ok, but sometimes the price is not the same online vs at location the only showed in Prime the movie we wanted to see. We were there already with the kids so... 17 dollars more then 30 for 3 drinks and 1 popcorn, we dont sneak things in but I see why some one would. The popcorn I remember was hot hot and fresh this was cold, but the movie was already starting and we needed to hurry or else I would of taken it back for a refund.

Really nice theater with comfy reclining seats, big screens, and good sound. Clean and well maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The snacks are expensive, but that's par for the course at any theater. Assigned seating and online and app ticket purchasing made buying tickets easy. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We went to the movie to watch the Wreck it Ralph movie. We paid for Prime showing, and bought our tickets online. The theater (screen 16) was a disaster, as it looked like it was rarely cleaned. The "Prime" part was supposed to be Real 3D, vibrating seats, and excellent surround sound...... It was NOT in Real3D, the seats only vibrated during the opening, and there must be some blown speakers, as the sound hissed and rattled the entire time the previews and the movie was on. I would NOT reccomend this place to see a movie.

recliner leather seats are a game changer. so comfy and the theater clean. However, concession prices are murder. Markup is ridiculous. Be prepared to pay atleast $20 a person for popcorn and a soda. They charge more for consessions than the movie. everyone knows theater consessions are expensive but this theater has the most expensive that I have ever seen (and I have lived in Alaska and California).

So I've been to here before they got the new chairs and stuff and after and let me tell you that now it is way cooler! The surround sound and screen was amazing! The chairs can recline and they are super comfortable and also it's neat how they vibrate to action and stuff. They also have some cool interactive games that go with your phone and are on the screen before the movie begins so that was cool too. Will go again for sure.

I think the place is pretty off-putting. On a Sunday at 10:00PM, there were 4-5 police officers roaming around the parking lot and lobby. I asked a couple of attendants if this was normal and it is. Food is very expensive, of course, but this was my first time paying $15 for a movie ticket. Just an uncomfortable experience in general, though once you get in the theater, it's nice. Good seats that recline, good sound quality, good temperature.

Decent, clean theater but the snack prices were outrageous. 16 dollars for a single large drink and large popcorn is the highest I've ever seen in a theater. I'd be willing to pay $5-6 each for those but a large drink alone is $9. I can't even understand how they justify that after I've already paid $14 for an IMAX movie ticket.

I purchased my tickets using the AMC app. My guest and I proceeded immediately inside where my phone was scanned for the ticket. I went straight to the snack bar. I didn't know how to pull up my AMC card to check for rewards so they young man behind the counter was happy to assist me. He assisted us with our menu selections. We got our drinks from the dispenser and then proceeded to get butter for our popcorn. There wasn't any butter left closest to screen #14 so we had to get butter from the other side. The movie previews had already begun in our theater but it was still easy to find our seats. The theater was clean & the seats were comfortable and functional. At the end of the movie, we visited the women's restroom outside screen #14. Aside from being out of paper towels, the restroom was clean.

Purchased assigned seating online. When we went to our seats, other people were sitting in our seats because other people were sitting in their seats. The management failed horribly to address the situation to anyone satisfaction and even with the police involved. We had young children and older people with us. In the end, we got a refunded; however, all parties involved were not treated as valued customers. This is not the first time going to this location. However, it will be my last.

The place has no complete dine in menu but they do have food you can order at the concession stand. and they also have a full bar called Macguffins bar I thought was solid. But located next to some well known restaurants such as TGI Fridays and more, which is in walking distance next to the theater. Very clean and very safe. My Lyft driver even told how frequently he would visit the location. Best of luck to you.

One of the best theaters in the New Orleans area. Majority of their screens have the fancy seats that recline. While some of the other AMC theaters have them too, not in almost every room. The staff also more professional than the other AMCs from my experience. My go to for my AMC A-List experience.

I really enjoy this AMC theater. The location is great as there are many restaurants around to choose from. It is usually pretty clean. The lines move fast and the staff is friendly. If you bring young kids to a PG-13 or R rated movie, I don't care about your parenting decisions, or lack thereof. But please, teach your kids manners. We experienced a very rude family of 6 or 7 people, who let their kids walk back and forth in front of us 8 times in 30 minutes. I asked them if they would be finished soon, and the father got up and threatened me for "speaking" to his kids without talking to him first. However, I thought they were adults because it was dark (duh) and the "kids" were teenagers. It was one of those families that can't raise small kids, so they use their teenagers to do the parenting. So basically they are worthless breeders. Lazy as hell! So the teenagers were caring for small children (5 or 6yo) at 8pm in a 3 hour PG-13 movie. The movie started at 7pm, so how does this make any sense that those small children were allowed in there anyways? I understand that children that young will need bathroom breaks, but 8 trips in 30 minutes was annoying as hell when we paid to see the movie like everyone else. AMC needs to review their policy. AMC staff did a good job compensating us for the bad experience, but in the end, my family left the movie, and the family that was a nuisance stayed. Thanks to the Manager and Staff for doing your best to resolve this. It's tough to manage all these ignorant scum.

Is definitely cheaper and faster to use Fandangoonline for theater reservations. Kind of disappointed because out of all the seats number 5 and 6 that we sat in In theater 14 had a load of popcorn on the seats that I had two white off myself. Not sure if it's because we got there 20 minutes earlier than the showtime at 8 p.m. but it looks like they would have made sure those seats were clean. Other than that the experience was nice to theater 14 is definitely one of the smaller ones but feels very comfortable thanks to those reclining chairs. All in all had a good time..

Glad for the upgrade for the seats but at what cost. Was there yesterday afternoon and order from the concession. Mold and mildew on the front of the Icee machine. Makes me wonder what's in the inside. It's super easy to wipe off the front of the machines and clearly it hasn't been done in quite a while. Bathroom are dirty too. Just there for the movies. Where do I begin: Upon entrance to the theatre, you will find a disorganized line. If you would like to use the ticket dispenser, forget it. All but one are broken with no signs of being repaired. When entering the theatre, the seats have been updated to the reclining seats however no one cleans the theatre between movies and there is grease and trash and popcorn everywhere. It’s truly disappointing what this movie theatre has turned into. I came here quite often as a kid and growing up and now coming back to visit, it is sad to see that no attempts at upkeep have been made. I hope in the future that this will turn around. Sadly I don’t see that happening.

AMC is luxury moviegoing. Recliner seats with plenty of elbow room make the experience of going to the movies that much better. Having the app is amazing and it’s excellent being able to book your seat well in advance to get the seat you want, the time you want, and you can even order food at the time you book your ticket to have it delivered to your seat. Buying your ticket on the app means you don’t stand in lines at the cashier, you can get scanned in right away. Definitely check out getting the Stubs A-List; you can go see three movies a week for a totally reasonable flat rate each month.

I was very disappointed with the way movie selections are portrayed on the cellphones versus the computers. I always goggle AMC Theaters to view when a movie is shown, the movie I went on Tuesday to see should have cost me $5.00 end up costing $13.00 because I was told by the cashier that Standard on Goggle is considered Prime which costs more....I have never experienced this in the 3 years of my retirement and Tuesday have always been my day to attend the movie. I am very disappointed with this explanation of checking movie times and theaters selections such as Standard, 3D and etc on Goggle are false times and selected theaters.

If you go on the weekends expect to see teenagers running around, in and out your theater as they try to get into r rated movies. I actually watched a group of teenagers ask for a rated r ticket, get denied, then the manager helped them find "another" showing at the same time so they could sneak in. They have assigned seating but no ushers to enfoece it so people will sit yoyr seat and might not move. Still I go there like 3 times a month so you cant beat the location on the west bank.

Great theater experience. I enjoyed the luxe seating arrangements and every aspect of the theater came off as clean and we'll maintained. Very glad that I chose AMC for my experience and will be coming back again for sure. It would be nice if there was a touch more space in front of the seats and if the seat reclining control wasn't so clunky as most hard surface non-screen touch controls are. That was mildly disappointing, but the overall the experience as a whole was wonderful and I would certainly suggest this specific theater to people in the future who ask me where to go see a movie in a theater.
