had a fantastic time, friendly staff and great movie fun. sat outside the car with the car radio playing the movie and enjoyed the film, watching saturn, mars, jupiter and venus (briefly) set as the movie went on. ditch the theatre, go to the drive in! (Sadly I have to work tomorrow so we didn't stay for the double feature!)

Probably gonna drive a bit further to go to Georgetown drive in next time. There was no clear lanes just kinda a free for all parking luckily we was the first ones in so everyone else just kinda followed. There was no nostalgic factor ie speaker boxes would've been cool or at least some old school pre show entertainment. There was also no smoking or vaping which is dumb its outdoors but i can look past that but why would i go to a drive in pay basically the same as a traditional theater if i cant smoke or at least feel like im in the 60s? Also the name not the best, i get it its cool to have your last name attached to your business but i think lagrange drive in would sound better and probably make more money as well as sense. If someone opens a drive in and names it lagrange drive in what do you think is gonna pop up first on Google hmm? when i was searching online for it i didnt type sauerback i searched lagrange drive in. In all i hope yall do well and continue to grow and get better. I think in a few years if yall change some policies and continue to invest in the business it will have growth return.

My wife and I throroughly enjoyed our visit to the Sauerbeck Family Drive-In. The staff were well prepared for the large crowd. The owner has clearly done homework on Drive-In best practices, which led to a great experience.

A few selfish issues.. #1 PEOPLE that leave their car running or backed in.... Turn your car completely off...hit ur E-brake then when you start your car the day running lights will be off until u release E-brake.. NOONE wants to see your headlights.. #2 Both nights I've went the 2 closest rows to park.. People park then pull chairs out and take up several family's could have parked.. for once try thinking of evryine else that's trying to enjoy a family movie

Pretty good start. The grounds are kind of rough but I assume they will improve with time. The snack area and restrooms are clean and inviting. The staff seem genuinely friendly. The quality of the projector is great - bright and 4K crisp. The biggest problem is that the screen itself is corrugated metal. The resulting lines on the screen are annoying and the reflection they cause, especially with light colors detracts from the experience.

Great new drive in. Mostly gravel so bring a bunch of blankets if you’re going to sit on the ground. Also there are no speakers so be sure to have a radio on hand that can stay on the entire movie. Very clean with a great view.

We got there early it was nice, you have to turn your radio to 92.3 to hear the movie so you can keep your windows up for the movie. The family owned business is very nice. We had our puppy with us because he is so young we keep him close and keep baggies to clean up after him. They were so nice, we loved it there just wish the pretzel wasnt microwaved.

Love this place. Clean facilities and a mellow atmosphere. They are not strict about bringing food in, but the concession stand is nice when you want to snack. They have the standard fare plus hot donuts! Also have hot chocolate and coffee for when it gets a little chilly.

Screen had lines in it but it wasn't horrible and the whole area was definitely still a little under construction. Would be more enjoyable if they had speakers too. Concession was limited but decently priced. And the price for tickets was also good. Bathrooms were nice and clean.

Went to the soft opening Thursday and it was a blast! My 3 year old loved the drive in and quite frequently hit his head on the windshield while jumping in excitement standing in the front seat of the car. It was great!!!

They had a great quality and they had a 10 minute intermission in between the first and second movie. They broadcast the movie sound on the radio and in Wednesday They have a retro movie night.

Absolutely amazing place... takes me back to my childhood... I would/will recommend this drive in to all my family and friend... not only do they show new releases but they also have retro features every Wednesday night for only 10$ a car load!!! Absolutely perfect choice for date night with my fiance!!!

Needs more food choices is my only complaint. Great time had by all and the kids loved it! UPDATE: After speaking with my 8yr old I have been instructed to give it a 10/10 from him. He absolutely loved the whole experience!! My 16yr old says he likes it better than the indoor cinemas and is ready to see a new movie already!

Great place to see a movie. Very clean facilities. Someone smoking next to you is inevitable. It just happens. You will hear train sounds from time to time. Will definitely return for another visit. Their is a spot on the screen that needs painted. We stayed for 3 movies till after 4 am.

A family fun time...old and young alike. My little sis suggested we go & take our kiddos...I'm glad we did. The teens had as much fun as the little ones did. I dozed off a time or two, but it was fun getting out together.

Visited last Friday night. Folks are super friendly and place was super clean. They do a lot of things right but I have to admit that I was confused by the cones and where to park. As others have stated, the lines on the screen are hard to ignore but most of the time I was able to forget it. They added some more items to the concession stand which is good. The hand dipped ice cream is great and kids loved it. My only real ding is that it is all gravel. We fortunately had a big piece of foam in our truck so the kids could lay on the ground but we would have been out of luck with just blankets. So come prepared. They need more trash cans dispersed throughout the lot. Long walk to the snack bar with an armful of trash. Finally be sure to bring a football or frisbee. Plenty of room to spread out but no playground. Overall very nice place and we will definitely come back.

Nice facility, it is new so we realize they will improve over time. I would suggest actual coffee over the canned coffee. It tastes metallic. Also the other concessions are fair priced, would like to see more options; possibly burgers and fries or pizza. Would definitely go back. A lot of parking and very clean lot.

Place was super clean, food was cheaper than a normal theatre, FM station for sound was solid, and you can't beat the price. I will absolutely return. It's a great way to see a movie when you have a baby. How are there not more of these? Finally, you can text during a movie without disturbing others.
