Overwhelming sound volume. Measured at the pain threshold (120db) during some sequences. Other than that, staff, concessions, and seating was great. And my ears stopped throbbing after about an hour.

The theater auditorium was clean, sound was good. It took nearly 10 minutes standing in line for concessions. Seems like management would have more than two lines open even for a Sunday matinee.

Great theater. With this being one of those theaters where you reserve seating, you don't have to wait in line to get a decent seat. The seats are very comfortable recliners. The food price are expensive and can take a while to receive some items, such as hot dogs. They even have a bar, if you feel the need to drink before or during a showing.

Great seats and a nice bar but you are paying that price. But dang man leather reclining seats? Worth it. I know a lit more affordable theater but here I can choose my seats and recline with my feet up as I watch the move as well as have an adult beverage. I recommend if you're looking for luxury.

It's pretty okay. I wouldn't consider their IMAX to be real IMAX. It's really just their XD theatre with a larger price tag. I also hate that you have to reserve your seats in advance, nothing is worse than not knowing if you're going to sit next to someone that talks through the whole movie. But the seats are comfortable and they have a good selection.

Everything is ridiculously expensive at the concession stand but and they only had one person working the register with a pretty big line, but other than that the theater was clean, quite a few food options even if they cost an arm and a leg. Movie sucked though but that's not their fault

Helen, up front, quickly got Floyd, the manager, to see if we could switch our tickets to a showing tonight. They made what could have been a very sad experience, wonderful. We had the unfortunate experience of trying to see a movie here. Not realizing that you had to reserve your seat ahead of time we only had the option of the front row when we bought our tickets. We expressed our concern at the ticket counter and were told that the screen was 15ft away from the first row. NO it isn't, it's maybe 7 feet. It was nearly impossible to see the screen. Do not come unless you plan to buy your tickets ahead of tjme.

I was impressed by this theatre, although we went to a late (10:30) movie, so this may be why there was hardly a crowd even with it being Friday night. They have a bar with decent priced cocktails and drinks. Around 8-11 dollars. Concessions were typical of a movie theatre with a few extra chairs choices like a chicken sandwich and fries. Not sure how that taste but the popcorn was delicious that we got. The seats recline with the push of a button and are super comfortable. Movie with your legs propped up? Yes, please! This cinema also offers IMAX and (I think it's called) RPX. These are wider screens with higher sound quality with obviously a higher ticket price. I haven't experienced these, but a friend said once you start watching movies with this technology, you'll never want to go standard again... Haha.

Not my favorite theater by a long shot. The ticket prices on a Tuesday are double what they are across town for some reason, plus concessions are more expensive here than elsewhere. The actual theaters are fine and sound good. Also here's a tip for you: don't get seats in row A of a reserved seating theater. They are 14 feet away from a 100 foot screen. It's like sitting 6 inches away from your 55 inch TV. Not even sure why they sell $12 tickets to such a terrible experience sitting that close.

We basically watch all of our movies with regal, no telling how much we have spent over the years. But today i wasted almost half an hour with my family, missing our move out because they would not accept a regal gift card which was purchased through groupon, had the full balance, and did not have an expiration date. If they can’t handle customer service any better than that for someone who has given them years of business then I will take mine elsewhere from now on. Don’t bother with Groupon either, they were also a waste of time and just took my money with no refund on their part either.

I went to see Tomb Raider at new Regal IMAX. It was awesome! I wish the screen was as large as the original IMAX theatres around the country, but Lexington, Kentucky is not a big enough city to support a real IMAX. Tickets are $20. They do have nice new big cushy power reclining seats. Plenty of room all the way around.

If you haven't downloaded the Atom app...I highly recommend it. I love this Regal theater because now with Atom I can do EVERYTHING online before I get there. I can pick EXACTLY where I want to sit and with Atom I can pre-order my concessions. When I park, I tell them to prepare my concessions and go in the specially marked line and my concessions are ready when I get there!! Fabulous! People are nice, seats are comfortable, bathrooms are clean. Everything is great!

My family and I (two boys and my wife) recently visited this theatre to watch Captain Marvel about three weeks after it first appeared in theatres. We went to the final showing of the day on a Monday and were lucky enough to have the entire theatre room to ourselves. So obviously we got to sit exactly where we wanted, were able to communicate with each other about the movie as we watched, and didn't have to worry at all about other movie-goers being too loud or obnoxious, or their phones going off and interrupting our experience. I've visited every theatre in Fayette county over the years, and I visited this one over 15 years ago as well. I can say that they have certainly mad improvements to their facilities over the years and kept it on the front lines of technology and comfort over their tenure as a high end movie theatre in Fayette county, Ky. Their seats are BY FAR the most comfortable theatre seats I have EVER sat in at any theatre anywhere, ever! The movie screen was perfectly aligned and clearly focused, and the sound was calibrated perfectly with strong bass and clear treble, but also the perfect volume...not too loud, not too quiet, just right! The employees were professional and courteous and helpful, although we didn't have to interact with them very much to be honest. Overall it was one of the best nights at the movies we have ever had as a family even though the film was pretty mediocre in my opinion. It wasn't nearly as full of political posturing as I thought it would be, and it wasn't nearly as full of fourth wave Feminist drivel as I had heard that it was. I must just add though, that I can't stand Brie Larson at this point and her habit of attempting to be a Social Justice Warrior hero every chance she gets, which is pretty much every time she opens her mouth anymore. She's not that great of an actress in my opinion, and she certainly isnt half as good as she thinks she is, but in spite of all of that, it was a decent Marvel film. I really only went to see it because I didn't want to see Endgame without seeing all of the films leading up to it, and it wouldn't be available for home viewing before we went to see Endgame. Anyhow, overall a terrific theatre even in spite of the sub-par film that we saw there...so I think had we seen a better film there, it would have been an even better experience. As a final note, their prices aren't quite as rediculous as some of the other theatres in the area even though the theatre is quite a bit better than many of the other theatres around!

My fiancee and I really enjoy the Regal, the movies are excellent and the food is very tasty. The only reason for 4 stars is that they are extremely over priced. At the same time most movie theaters are so I always expect to spend quite a bit when I go. I also always make sure to eat before I go so I'm not out $15-$20 per person to get snacks or food.

Best theater in town. The reclining seats are great and the number of large screens, IMAX and RPX included, make it my first choice. The reserved seating can make getting a show on the weekend hard if you don't want to plan too far ahead, but they have a good beer selection, so can't complain if I need to get there a bit early.

Great atmosphere and lobby. Workers should be more proactive about offering be help. I've only been here 3 times and it's changed a lot between visits. Not knowing where to go was a little annoying. The theatre itself was awesome! Recliner chairs with plenty of cupholders. Spacious seating and true comfort. It was almost the same comfort as my own huge screen 4k TV and couch. Concessions are outrageous! But that's to be expected with movie theaters, their profit is in that popcorn and soda. Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend.

I go here twice a week and never have an issue. If I did the issue was resolved professionally. I've been going here for years and hands down the best theater in all of Kentucky no doubt. Customer service is outstanding. They hire the right people for the jobs. Food and drinks always fantastic. Can't go wrong with IMAX. Also now that they are a part of movie pass and regal has there own free membership card...I will never go to another theater in Kentucky!!

There are few movie theaters I go to and Regal is one of them. The seats are some of the best around and I love that you can choose your seats when purchasing tickets. This eliminates the hassle of trying to find enough seats for you and your party when you get in the theater. Great picture quality and booming audio to enhance the overall experience.

IMAX, assigned seats, and a great reward program all makes this place a win for me. Can get a little pricey depending on your concession stand spending but it's is a movie theatre so expect crazy pricing.

I ordered my tickets 3 days prior to show. You are able to select your seats. I selected three seats for the first showing of Alladin which my child and wife wanted to watchtoward the back and paid for them and was added service fee for booking early. Not a problem for me. Total was roughly $38 for 2 adults and 1 child. When we get there the email with the tickets has us setting right up front. All that money to have to stare nearly straight up at a screen. I have to admit I didn't check the tickets after I bought them, but I work in software support and i know my way around technology. I know which seats I selected. Just check your tickets after you get them!

I go monthly to semi-monthly and haven't had a bad experience (unless you count some of the movies I ended up seeing but let's not hold that against them). I love the assigned seating in all theaters, which allows you to purchase before and then walk into the show just minutes before it starts knowing you have the exact seat you wanted. I do wish they would fix it so that you could use gift cards to pay for your tickets online. We drive from Frankfort which is 30 minutes away so that becomes an inconvenience and we end up hardly using them. The staff is mostly a younger group and are all polite and efficient. I once purchased a pair of tickets online and when we came in found out that I had accidentally bought the tickets for the previous day. Since it wasn't the opening week of the show and therefore not a packed theater the staff saw the situation and was able to get us into the show which is the kinda thing you don't forget.

All seats are leather power recliners with enough room for people to still walk in front of you. Seats are assigned when you buy tickets so you can pre-buy and not have to get to the theater early to get a good seat. Join their loyalty program (Regal Crown Club) for a small discount off normal ticket prices. They also offer discounts to students with a student ID. My favorite theater in the area.

Saw Dark Phoenix, I liked the movie. It is dark but that is more of what Marvel plans on with the new phase. The staff is always nice and the recliners are sometimes a little too comfortable. It is a nice place to watch a movie.

Very comfortable seating. Recliners with cup holders and plenty of space between chairs and rows. We went to see The Shape of Water, which had to be one of the strangest movies I've ever seen! It won so many awards so I wonder if it didn't go over my head (even though I have a slightly higher than average intelligence level) haha. At any rate, I still recommend the theater as some place comfortable and cozy to watch a movie.

Movie, Dunno, was very good. The prices were too much. The popcorn was not that great. Service was very good. Theater seats were fantastic.

Their recliners are super comfortable and the curved screen was nice to. The theater is always clean and well maintained.

hate hate hate having to plan far ahead to see a movie, and the time it takes to select a seat is absurd! 5 out of 5 times, the seats that showed taken when I had to select, were NOT taken for the movie ... what is the point?

Pricy tickets and concessions. Assigned seating garauntees your spot, which is nice. Seats are fantastic. Generally good service at both box office and concessions.

Came here with my gf just to enjoy a night out. Knowing ahead of time theaters can be pricey but Jesus we could've done something more entertaining for that price. We also got a large popcorn and 2 large drinks. I asked for a separate container because I like a lot of salt and she doesn’t but was informed they couldn’t do anything like that. I almost died.. I seriously just spent $23 and you can’t give me a bag or something so I can sprinkle some salt on my popcorn?

Just saw Captain Marvel, while in town for Comic Con. Very nice theater, will definitely make it a point to visit when in town again!
