Went on a Saturday night. It's been a long time since I've been to a theatre this rundown. Trash everywhere, bathrooms a mess. I person at the concession stand on a Sat night. The theatre was extremely hot at 10 pm and barely anyone there. Not a very pleasant experience for the high price we had to pay for admission.

A real disappointment. As far as I am concerned it should be torn down and rebuilt. Especially with what theaters are doing today. Even the small ones are renovating and coming into the modern era. Theaters with this low quality of seats and maintenance are for $1 movies. Even for a “rural” area it’s beyond sub par. Renovate and/or upgrade. Plus I’m sure the movie that was played was in 3D and we weren’t given the glasses. It is really pathetic. Bathrooms are poor quality and broke. The other one stunk. And broken seats in the theater and severely stained. This place is a disgrace. And The matinee was far over priced considering much much nicer places offer $5-6 matinee’s and this place is $8.50. It’s really an insult. Even the parking lot is in need of severe repaving and striping.

Tried to initially buy tickets online and couldn't. Had to go through a different site which of course charged us a "convenience " fee. Went in and the theater was pitch black! Had to sort of feel our way to our seats and thanks to some kids who had their cellphone flashlights, we didn't break a leg on the unmarked steps. The sound system was WAAAY too loud and almost deafened us. This place needs some work!

Upgraded seating in most of their rooms, can recline and raise the arm bar. Need more people at the concession stand when there are a ton of people coming in. The movie screen and sound were great, just need to start movie on time.

I was disappointed by how gross the whole place was. The popcorn machine was broken which made me sad since popcorn and a movie go hand to hand. Not to mention popcorn is about of the whole going to the movie's experience (personally for me I will say.) But over all i was disappointed especially since the worker's there's are not very friendly. Also some of their speakers don't even work so that sucked.

I got to the theater and chose one of the many seats with arms entirely broken off or the springs destroyed and stuck in an upright position. The audio is playing pre-movie ads but no video. The previews begin and still no video. In the end we waited 45m for the movie to start, this time with no preamble, and then they shut it off before we got to watch the end credits scene. So I was made to wait half the time of the original movie AND not allowed to finish the film i waited so long to see. The theater is musty and old, very poorly kept, and no time in the last five years have I gone without some sort of video or audio issues, from it not being synched with each other to today. I just wanted to see a movie. I can't honestly go back here and waste my life like this.

The place is falling apart. Light fixtures are falling out, the walls are cracked and in need of paint and on and on. Very dirty with lots of trash on the floor. Terribly uncomfortable seats as well.

FIX YOUR SPEAKERS! What the heck is wrong with you Marquee! The left channel completely died 2 minutes into Star Wars The Force Awakens. Then the right front channel buzzed the whole night! This is unacceptable! I can put up with the dirt and broken bathrooms but the SOUND and PICTURE are the reason I even bother to come. It's just sad. You make me sad :(

I like this theater but they have so much they need to improve. The bathrooms are disgusting. One time I bought pop corn and they failed to tell me that they had no salt. It was nasty. No refund. I had to call them from inside the theater to get them to play endgame because it was past time to start and they didn't even start the previews. I didn't want to leave my son by himself to tell them or lose our seats

I've been here most of my life. As a teenager, I went often on dates. Over the years, the building has been falling apart. It is in need of updates. Why pay $8+ for a ticket just to sit in broken seats and walls with holes? I get that it's just a big screen and am thankful we have a theater, but am very disappointed in the level of care given to the facility. IF we return and they have repaired, I will update my review. As for the movie quality, it was never an issue there. Just facility improvements do not make sense with the level of ticket price.

Honestly, I was trying to decide if it should be a 2 star or 3 star review. The sound quality in the cinema was terrible and the seats were rather uncomfortable. The overall appearance of the lobby was very poor.

It was a movie theater. Not much different from any other theater I've been to. The employees got their jobs done and kept everyone happy and the movie itself was definitely quite an experience since it was my first time seeing a movie in 3D.

Where to begin? Saw a 4:00 movie 3-D . Over priced tickets and snacks. Theater was soooo nasty. Chips, cups, and popcorn everywhere. We had to clean out our seats before sitting. Cashier didn't give us our 3-D glasses. Went back to get them, he didn't want to give them to us. Afterwards went to bathroom and men's and women's both nasty and no paper. We spent $50 there but we will not again.

2 Parts of the screen were blocked by parts of the curtain hanging down in theater 2. Speakers would malfunction and buzz and crackle. Seats were busted and simply covered with garbage bags. These things are completely deplorable and have been damaged for some time with no change, we’ll.... unless you count the fact things seem to be getting worse. It is 30 minutes further to bowling green for me. But highland cinema has made it clear that it cares not for my business. I don’t understand there’s no theaters for miles around. Obviously a market is here. But lack of investment, means lack of profit.

This theater is the NASTIEST establishment i have ever paid to enter. My shoes stick to the carpet, my jeans stuck to the chair in a slimy way. You can not stand up in the isle. It’s like your standing on ice/slime. This place literally smeels like the dump on I65 on a damp warm summer night. I can’t believe the health department has not shut this place down. There was trash, half eaten hot dogs, pop cups turned upside down in the seats. This will definitely be my last trip to this nasty place.. Headed home, could not finish the movie for the smell, to take another shower

I have always enjoyed going to the cinema in Glasgow, but in the last year or so, issues have really made the experience less enjoyable. Marvel movies always have scenes at the end of the credits which fans enjoy and hang around to see. When I saw "Doctor Strange," the movie stopped and the lights came on a few seconds into the credits. After someone brought it to their attention, the credits started back, but there was no sound. I'm never one to complain about indoor temperatures, but when I saw "Logan," it felt like we were in a freezer; it was miserable. I brought the temperature to the worker's attention, and they just said something like, "I noticed it seemed cold in there." I got jackets from our car for the rest of the movie. When I saw "Guardians of the Galaxy 2," after the previews, the screen shut off and the lights came on. This happened a few more times before they finally gave us the option of a refund or moving to another theater. One guy stood in line to exchange his tickets for the other theater, but was told he should have been in the other line once he reached the booth. I enjoy movies, and have always enjoyed this theater, but lately, there always seems to be an issue that makes the experience not as enjoyable.

We showed up for a noon movie at 11:45. The doors were still locked. Finally at 12:05, an employee raced into the parking lot saying no one on the schedule had bothered to show up. It was going to be another 20 minutes. I understand things happen. However, this theater over the years has gone down hill. It always appears dirty, they don’t carry the best movies and the movies mess up frequently. It is the closest theater to my hometown but still needs updating and work. Today was just a disappointment. There is a parking lot full of people waiting and several leaving.

Falling apart after years of no up keep. Then to add insult to injury, if you buy tickets on-line you are charged a convenience fee but when you get there, you still have to stand in a long line behind the people who are paying!!! Only cinema I have ever been to that does that. Every other cinema has seperate line for the people that spent extra for the convenience fee so they can go straight in and not have to stand in line.

Waited all week for matinee to see 13 Hours-Benghazi movie. Couldn't see it last weekend, due to Snowaggedon 2016 !!! Now it's gone. The importance of this movie for the public to know the TRUTH is beyond my words. Money is all that counts I guess for you, looking at the other reviews which were negative. Bathrooms a JOKE, sound systems too !!

My wife and I bought tickets for a movie. We walked in the theatre about 5 minutes before the movie was scheduled to start. The theatre was pitch dark, no lights on at all and the screen was off. I used the flashlight on my phone to find a seat. I saw lots of popcorn, candy wrappers and other trash everywhere on the floor and seats. Several cup holders had nasty sticky liquid in them, I assume from a soda leaking. The whole theatre was just completely nasty and it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned for quite a while. A couple behind us attempted to sit down in their seats and the lady discovered that her seat was completely missing the cushion and she was just sitting on metal and had find another seat which wouldn't have been so bad if all the seats were not filthy. We finally found a seat that was not too nasty and waited for the movie to start. It never started. My wife had to walk up to the consessions to ask them to start the movie. They started the movie. I went to use the restroom after the movie and the bathroom was nasty. Paper products all over the floor, sink was nasty abd the urinal was out of order with a plastic bag over it. Walking out of the theatre we noticed how dirty the carpets were. The only thing I can say good about this place is that the popcorn and soda was fresh tasting. The entire building was very dirty and not pleasant to be in. There were also lots of holes in the wall, pieces of the ceiling missing and a lot of other repairs that need attention. We will not be returning to this theatre and we definitely do not recommend it.

This theater is very dated. We were in screening room 2, which was very small only about 8 seats wide. One of the speakers in that room was starting to go bad and was crackling the whole movie which was distracting. It was cool that they had a VR game app that you could download and play along before the movie but since it was such an old building and/or being on the outskirts of town, there was no cell signal to download or play the game.

Manager is rude, place is literally riddled with filth, popcorn machine doesn't work and they wouldn't let us bring in popcorn. Place surely makes money but none of it goes to maintenance and hygiene. Found stains on several seats (some with suspicious colors). I doubt anyone will do anything about it because the next movie theater is about a thirty minute drive out. Place is a perfect example of greed and laziness. If anyone with the ability to change the place sees this review please go to your establishment and see for yourself. I'll be taking the extra drive to another theater from now on

This place has become a disappointment. 1. Lights are out for display posters 2. Walls are are marred up. 3. Junk from displays piled up in the lobby. 4. Bathroom urinal has had a trash bag over it during my last to visits (2 months apart). 5. Both Mens bathrooms wreak of urine. 6. Some speakers busted in cinema 2 7. Carpet looked and felt like it was greasy. 8. You don't even have a marquee anymore. I will say that the staff was nice and courteous. And this time the movie itself played and sounded good. If this weren't the only theater in town with first run movies, then it would probably be empty. The building is getting old and needs overhauled. The concessions are good, at least the popcorn (just be sure to get extra butter). The staff is friendly enough, but the prices are a bit high for the experience. The theater that we were in tonight had some sound issues, and several of the seats were broken. It's a shadow of what it used to be.

Seats are broken and uncomfortable. Bathrooms stink. Theater is always full of garbage from previous movie. Speakers are too loud and sound blown. Screen is dark and glows red due to exit sign being right in front of it. And you get all this for the price of $10 per person. I usually make the forty mile trek to Campbellsville because the theater is much nicer and a lot cheaper to boot.

This place is super conflicting to me. I WANT to support our local movie theater. Unfortunately, everytime I go there something is messed up. The sound in some theaters is so bad you cant understand the dialog (theater 4 is the worst when it comes to this) The picture quality is not up to par with most other cinemas (but it's not the absolute worst) Also, the overall vibe is grungy (need new seats among other things) I've been going here for a long time, and I'll keep going...but I just want it to improve.

I saw a horror show today at Marquee Cinemas and it wasn't the movie. Let's see where to begin with this review. Four concession workers only two assisting the very large lines of customers. The other two thought it was more beneficial to continue to fill the already mountinous supply of nachos. That aside, even the most curteous of service wouldn't have made up for the absolute disgraceful condition of this theater. My family has worked in the theater business for over 25 years and has been patrons of this great industry for nearly our entire lives. Never in all of our history have we ever felt more uncomfortable and disgusted. The concession items purchased at the bargain price of $37.50 we're placed in a puddle unidentified liquid resting on top of the delapitated concession stand. The overall condition of the lobby and theater itself was deplorable. See pictures as display because they do more justice than what I could describe with mere words. I would strongly suggest boycotting this theater until the district office and mangers address some serious needs of this theater. You all are a disgrace to the industry.

July 2018. I and I'm not noticing any differences. They put money into a new front on the building instead of utilizing it towards the bathrooms the bathroom's just continue to go down. The person I was okay however you never know if you are going to buy a ticket out front or would you have to walk into the concession stand and stand in line to wait to buy tickets it's not like a sign says go inside or somebody's out there saying come on in it's just good luck in finding where to pay. The cost it has blown up and it's now higher then tickets outside of Nashville veteran clean movie theaters. I checked the theater in Gallatin and it's still cheaper than the one up here they don't deserve to raise the cost of a ticket until they have something to offer me for that raise. And the theater either doesn't read their reviews or are just to lazy to reply. End of update. The bathrooms are disgusting. I won't let my family use them. They need to be checked every 30 minutes and someone needs to figure out what bleach could do for them. As the only Cinema in Glasgow, they have a captive audience. I would suggest invested some money on cleaning it up. The staff is friendly but young. So no problem there. Yes long lines on weekends at concession stand. And it's not just the bathrooms, the seats in the viewing rooms need cleaning as do the floors. I'm not talking about picking up trash. I saying they need to scrub everything.

This place is in need of serious renovations, if not condemned. My son and I went to watch the new Spiderman movie at this location. One guy was selling tickets and one guy was selling concessions. Problem...it was the same guy and he took forever. This shows signs of poor management.

If they are going to charge the average movie ticket price that other theaters charge then at least keep it clean. Overall this place is run down. We need a Regal or AMC to come in and build a new theater so this one can just be done.

No way I will ever see another movie here. I'll drive to Bowling Green. I tried to watch the new Star Wars movie and within the first 3 minutes the left channel completely disappeared and there were sound issues throughout the show. Well, for what part I stayed and watched. Management didn't even seem a bit concerned and did NOT offer a refund. AVOID THIS MOVIE THEATER!

Wasn’t able to purchase tickets online because ther website was broken. Theater itself was very rundown and dirty and the parking lot was very crowded and difficult to navigate. Of course this was a big opening weekend and they were very busy, but one would think you could prepare for an event like this and have extra staff on hand. The concession lines were very long and I missed the beginning of my movie. The theater we were in was very dingy and my seat was quite dirty and uncomfortable. Also the sound quality on the movie was very poor with a lot of distortion of dialogue and music. The movie kind of cut out a couple times and had a strip of fuzzy picture along the bottom of the screen.

This theater has steadily gone down hill. It is obvious that no money is being spent toward maintenance. The carpets are worn out and dirty. The bathrooms are deplorable. Never enough staff for the concession counter so the waits are always long. Some of the screens are damaged. The wall coverings are coming down in several of the theaters. The parking lot is in desperate need of repair. Several of the chairs are damaged and they have simply put garbage bags over them to prevent people from using them. Others have arm rests that are broken and seat bottoms that are slanted and uncomfortable.

Theatre is run down a little. Took family during a break from camping. Ticket booth in front says tickets are sold at concessions. Ordered concessions and then asked about tickets too, guess that was my fault, during the time we ordered popcorn and drinks, more people came in. Before I even paid for concessions, we were asked to go to back of ticket line!?! My wife got back in line while I waited with my 2 young boys.Then, when my wife got to the front of the ticket line, the lady had the nerve to ask me to grab our concessions and move down. Maybe they need more than one employee to achieve customer service. After all, the movies are entertainment.

Pretty hard to take for people on limited income bringing their grandkids in and making a choice between groceries or entertaining a grandchild, then seeing the teenagers who work there let all theit little friends in for free. When you have people lined up to the door waiting to get in to see the film of their choice ... it would be great for there to be announcements of which films can be entered at what times. We stood in this long line tonight and when it finally got to moving, we realized that had we cut line and went to the front, that the movie we came to see was being seated already. What a disappointment that we missed previews and had to sit on the 2nd row from the front. Surely there is a way someone can call out which movies are being seated so people don't have to wait in line for a movie that they aren't seeing while they are missing the movie that they paid to see. There are still some people who just don't pass people and cut in line ... uno, those of us who were raised with manners!

The theater was not very clean and the lobby seemed unorganized. There were only two people working the lobby, one for tickets and the other trying to serve the 30 people in line to get refreshments. The sound of the movie was scratchy and you could barely understand the characters. I brought it to the attention of the manager who attempted to fix the problem (fixed, but only for a short period of time). No refund was offered. It's sad to spend $25 for three people to see a movie and not be able to truly enjoy it.

Very expensive. Long wait times. Only one or two registers open even pn weekends. As much money as they bring in you would think they would update the restrooms and be a bit cleaner

If I could rate less than one star I would. Same thing every time. 1-2 registers open at concession. 45 mins in line to popcorn or drink. Clearly understaffed. Have to arrive 30mins+ earlier than movie time to get anything to eat and drink and not miss your movie start. Each time I think it will be better. Its not. You would think from all the negative reviews they would take actiin, but sadly no. Zero customer care.

Needs to be updated. The projector over heated and we had to wait an extra 45 mins before the movie would play.

We showed up 20 min early for the Sunday 12:00 matinee but no one is here. Once an employee showed up at 12 which is show time we are told it will be another 20 min. Also he goes inside and locks the door behind him with people waiting to go in.

Nice screens and projectors, but the sound systems are pretty awful. Even in the latest remodeled theater the bass is weak, often distorted. Theater 1 is the best, but they never play decent movies there because it's one of the smaller theaters.

Almost a second-run theater for anything except blockbusters. Speakers and sound quality very poor. Rude people who look at phones during the show. Pretty sad, overall.

Vindictive By Nature

Overpriced for a theater that once was decent is now gone so far down it stinks inside where the movies are played and lets not get started on the bathrooms how horrible they are. Should use some of that overpricing tickets to make some much needed repairs and maintenance to it. Not to mention cleaning.

Picture not up to par with other theaters neither is sound. Looks dirty but a large part is it needs a complete remodeling. Some places on the wall are duct tape that has been painted over, guessing it's bad hole repairs. The Marquee was removed or just came off because of storm and from what I understand they have no interest in putting it back up. So it's Marquee without a Marquee, just proof they are doing nothing right. The staff only good thing going for them. The place needs a good demolishing.

We waited five hours to see the movie they had listed on their website to begin at 9:40 p.m. When we showed up to the theater (with five kids), we found out they had cancelled the 9:40 showing. This was very disappointing to our kids who had been looking forward to the movie all day and given up the opportunity to participate in other fun activities in order to go to the movie. The manager was barely apologetic and offered no compensation for our inconvenience. Very disappointing customer service!

High to get in, but that's anywhere now. I like going there though. I take my own snacks. You can get the same snacks they charge almost $10 for at the dollar store for $1 per snack. Other than that. Love it.
