This is the only theater in Owensboro. It has 16 screens. Some are larger than others. The movies look good on the large screens and the surround sound is amazing. The cost is very high. 10 dollars a ticket for the regular show. 8 doll for an early show.

The theatre was so hot I could not enjoy the movie. The phone said 82 degrees! The cashier at concession (who claimed to be a manager) was rude and handed me a hot bottled water. Then wanted to charge me for a cup of ice. This is my third unpleasant experience in a row. I will make the 45 min. drive to Evansville in the future to watch movies. The last two times the speakers were so loud I had to plug my ears with napkins looking around at people with fingers in their ears. This place can do better.

Every seat is a recliner with plenty of space for people needing to walk by. You don't see anyone else's head or hat down in front of you! The only drawback is that the chairs are all covered in pleather (faux leather) and I am allergic to it. It causes me to sweat profusely wherever I come in contact with it. My jeans and the back of my shirt were drenched. I was soaked through! I had to sit on the very front edge of the chair to dry out.

The theaters are clean and very comfortable. Viewed IT: Chapter 2 and brought Malco's customized drink "the Georgie" designed just for the occasion. Both film and drink did not disappoint. Had a great time. Will recommend to friends and family.

Super burnt popcorn and of course had to pay 9$ for it. You would think if you’re charging as much as a ticket for popcorn you would make sure it’s good. Just lack of care by management.

It's a nice place to watch a movie, but it's a little overpriced. A large frozen drink is very small and doesn't come with refills. All other theaters give you a larger size and offer free refills for the same price.

Great seating, sound system and bathrooms. Would not know about food taste. Did not get a bank loan before going. Airport food and drink cost. Very high.

It works but it's outdated. Video quality isn't very good, fairly dim and some of the projectors aren't lined up properly with the screens. The audio quality is about as good as the video quality, which isn't great. Seats aren't the worst but nothing special. Pricing for snacks are about what you'd expect from a movie theater: expensive, but good. In the end, I'd rather just wait for a movie to release on Blueray/DVD/streaming and watch it at home as I can have a far superior experience

Clean, beautiful atmosphere, and friendly staff, went in to theater 1(the biggest screen) it was a little less spacious but probably so they could fit more people and the seats didn't recline, but the screen was MASSIVE, the sound were being produced by Dolby ATMOS, and it only costed $11 for a ticket, it also cost $11 to watch the movie on the other theater rooms, but those rooms have space and the seats relcine, but the screen is smaller than theater 1 and its sounds are produced by Dolby 3.1 but still a great experience.

Been to the theather twice and the popcorn is always too salty!!! Watch 47 Meters and they let a baby in at the 930pm show when the sign clearly says no children under 3 in pg or Rated r after 3 or 4pm. Wish I could of enjoyed my popcorn and watch the movie without a baby whining the whole time. Update!!! The Manager gave me tickets for another day and was very polite. I'm at the movies now watching IT chapter 2. They fixed they popcorn issue as well. Delicious!!!

The building itself is becoming a little run down and you can tell by the theaters and the restrooms. The restrooms are not always the cleanest or necessarily working at all. The prices on the items are incredibly high for the area in which they are in. It's good that they are moving to a new location soon.

I have no complaints about the theater/movie experience. A new theater is being built so I think they given up on some of the facility management. The bathrooms are a little old and the floors are sticky. As usual with theaters the concession prices are astronomical $7 for a small popcorn and $9 for a large. Stop at the target next door to get your snacks and sneak them in.

Now that the new location has opened, this is the place to watch a movie. Love the recliner seats and being able to pick your seats when you buy your ticket. Expected ticket prices to be way higher for the amenities, but they really aren't much higher than the other theaters around.

Mixed bag. I understand that theaters get only a tiny fraction of the ticket price, and that the rest goes to the movie studios.....I understand that is why their concessions are so outrageously expensive. They need concessions to survive. But this theater seems to be overpriced on ticket cost as well as concessions. The bathrooms are usually dirty, sometmes the theaters themselves are immaculate, sometimes messy. Getting a great big screen with stadium seating for the ticket price is fine. Getting a seat in a cramped older theater with small screen size for the same price is annoying and doesn't seem quite right. Sometimes the staff are great, other times, they are rude and simply do not have a clue as to what customer service is. I was standing in line once, waited for a lot of people to finish their orders and when I stepped up to the counter, the employee looked me in the face and said, "Sorry, I'm going to eat." Then simply turned and walked off. Should not have been allowed to do so until someone relieved them. Chalk it ALL up to very poor management. I hope they can do better with the new theater, but i suspect it will be more of the same.

Drove all the way from Louisville to go see a movie with movie passes we bought at an auction for charity and they won’t honor them. Also in addition there facility looks awful with paint peeling off and trash scattered throughout the parking lot. I’m addition they have awful customer service and just argued with my parents.

For the Malco, it isn't terrible but it also isn't that great. In Owensboro, it is a place known for being dirty, being overpriced, and the constant rumors that they have a serious mice problem. As long as you go at matinee time, tickets are reasonably priced, but there is no doubt that this is a dying theater. I can't wait for a new theater to be built in Owensboro.

Comfortable seats. Do not tuck your arms in your shirt, I did and fell asleep. I spent $10 on a ticket and $12.50 on a popcorn and a drink. I only got through the first half of the movie. Great movie theater though, curse their seats!

It’s a very nice place and the staff are kind, but it’s EXTREMELY expensive. I paid $22 for 2 tickets which I am fine with since the reclining chairs and the amazing experience but the concession was overly priced. A kids box was $8 and you only get a pack of gummies, a little bit of popcorn, and a really small drink. I would definitely be back but I’ll be sure to eat before I come next time.

Took the kids ( 3 and 4 year old) here for the first time. They enjoyed the movie and the experience. We went to the 2:15 showing to save some cash and it wasn't busy at all. Four tickets and one large popcorn and drink was over $40.

Went to the matinee, the pricing was really good, not a big crowd, I went on Tuesday, election day 2018. This theatre is moving next year, I hope the building stays kept up between now and then, currently it is clean and we'll kept. Good place to see a movie at reasonable price, concessions are outrageously high, though. Don't go hungry.

We like to go to the movies while our kids are in school but that's not much of an option here. It's kind of annoying that they only have one early showing of one movie during the day, and what lame choice too. Sorry I don't want to see "It" at 12:30pm, that's something I'd want to watch at night. SMH.

It sucks. Me and two of my friends came to watch a movie. After we got there we had to use the restroom, so we did. Came back out and workers followed us. Then one of them blinded us with his flashlight. They watched us go into the movie and continued in after us. We did nothing wrong and felt like we were being watched the whole movie.

Awesome! Seating is super comfortable and you actually have room to walk down the aisle if you need a break. I love that the sodas have free refills without going to concessions to wait. Food variety is cool and the employees are very nice.

The customer service is terrible. The guy hung up on me twice in a row for no reason! I called on two different phones and the same guy did the same thing to me. Then, I called about it again and he lied about it!!!! We were just asking what movies were in because we were confused. And yes, the phones on both lines were working perfectly fine. If I could give zero stars I would.

Malco is an ok movie theater. The audio & visuals of the movies are great. But the seats are rather small. Prices for food are high. Bathrooms are very unkept. Not a very clean place. I still enjoy going however. Also Malco will be moving to a new location as a new theater is being built off of highway 54 and I am very excited for it to open.

Went to see Endgame. Was able to purchase my ticket online. Was very easily confirmed addy the counter and getting snacks was fast and easy. The theater was nicely kept for a long day of a new movie coming out. Seats are comfy. I know this had nothing to do with the target bit the movie rocked! Highly recommended!

Me and my wife decided to go see Jurassic World tonight... went to the 925 show.. $20.. that's fine no problem... go to get large popcorn and large soda.. seeing that they advertise free refill on both.. so I'm almost $40 into a date night with my wife... again money is not the problem... the problem is at 10 o'clock we are out of soda and I go to get a refill.. meet another person wanting the same thing..and the snack bar is clean and shut down and 2 guys standing there they look at one another and say we are off the clock and then they tell us no more refills... the movie was barely half over... didn't end til 1130.. why have late movie times if we aren't going to get the same service as the early times... the movie was great!! But that experience is what brought my stars down on this review.. at least if there is a final refill time let the paying customer know when they are purchasing it.. sorry for the rant but that was rude...

We was about 20 min early for our 10:05 show time, was ordering food from the kitchen, paid for one order. Started placing the 2nd order and then they told us the kitchen was shut down for the night. Such a mood killer not to be able to enjoy food with my movie.

I went to go and see Avengers End Game and it was really nice! We bought our tickets in advance and the kiosk to print your booked ahead tickets was working today and the staff inside were pleasant enough.
