Good sound and picture. The concessions is one of the better in the area. Had someone talking throughout the movie, went to grab a manger after our attempts to solve the issue on our own failed; he took action immediately. Problem solved. Needless to say, good service! Too bad I do not live in Richmond

Great theater, friendly people my only complaint is when there are really long lines and you finally get to cashier you have to get in another line because your paying with credit card or vice versa. If your going to have certain lines for cash and credit let us know what line is what. Also, if movie sales out can you announce it , so we want buy drinks and popcorn only to get up there and find out it's sold out.

This place is way too high. 53.00 to watch a movie with 3 kids. And then 25.00 for 2 scoops of icecream, 2 icees and 2 bags of chips never will I see a movie here again. I only gave a 1 star because they wouldnt let you leave a review if you didnt. Believe me I wouldn't have given even a half of a star

Great place to watch a movie. Really nice place. The staff are extremely nice and polite. Movie theater is clean in the movie rooms and they also have very clean bathrooms that are located back by the movie rooms and right before you exit the building on your left. Definitely one of the best theaters around the area. It's still new, so it's easy to hold that title for now. Hopefully it stays that way. Seats are comfortable and positioned so that it's hard for someone to be blocking your view. Sound quality is great, as expected. Concessions is pricey, as expected.

Everything for the most part is great. My only problem was that the volume is always turned up way too loud. Which is the reason I had not been there in over 6 years. It just makes for an uncomfortable experience.

Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable and the popcorn is decent. There is no Imax, but the seats are comfortable. The theater is clean and the only complaint I truly have is parking. There is such limited parking that is takes about 30 minutes to find a spot.

Parking here is atrocious and has been since they first opened the doors after moving from the old Richmond Mall. Chairs are very uncomfortable, small screen rooms for some showings that make no sense and no seat reserving leads to constantly having to stand at walkway trying to find a seat till a worker has to come in and force everybody to push together to make room for the dozen people standing around trying to figure out where to sit; something that could be fixed entirely with seat reserving like at many other theaters and even other Cinemark's. At least two screens have what appears to be ketchup and mustard stains smeared around them in the middle of the screen where someone apparently threw a hot dog at the screen. Sound I okay when the volume is high enough, but the worst thing is simple; NO ONE POLICES THE NO CELL PHONE RULE LIKE THEY DID IN THE PAST. I have only left this theater a handful of times not livid over this. People talking throughout the movie and playing on Facebook or Snapchat the entire time. Once in a R rated horror movie a woman gave her maybe 5 year old son her giant phone and loaded up YouTube for Kids on it for her kid to watch for the duration of the movie without even remotely thinking of how rude and stupid it was. When mentioned to a worker, nothing was done whatsoever. It's the only theater in Richmond so it's your only option unless you drive to Lexington, but I'm constantly wishing for a good theater to open up. An AMC would be incredible and I would drive nearly anywhere if an Alamo Theater opened just so I could know the insane price I was paying for a movie theater trip would not be interrupted by cell phones. I grew up going to the theater often, but over the past several years I've found myself waiting for something to come out digitally for rent just to avoid the anger I feel every time I pay good money to see a movie and have it ruined because no one seems to respect others in movie theater and this theater is the worst I've ever been to for this.

I love this place to create great memories with family. I like their mobile app. It makes it easy to see what is showing, pay movies in advance and purchase a membership for $8.99 and get 1 free credit a month. I also like that they have updated the seats to more comfortable ones.

Well, it's the only movie theater around unless you want to go down to the busiest area of Lexington. I would describe it as a small, laid back theater. Employees are always cool, and the place is kept relatively clean.

Went to see Halloween on Sunday, the 2PM showing. There were only two girls working behind the counter and they were swamped. No ice, drink machine nearly empty. These two girls could barely keep up. Management you need to do a better job with having ample staff on hand, especially when you have a huge block buster movie playing. I felt bad for those two girls.

I came here from Berea. While my town has virtually not much to do, not even a movie place, Cinemark was that gem, that Oasis in the middle of the desert, that offered me an escape. It is not as big as movies in big cities, but I it has a lot to offer. For that, I "five-stared" it.

This theater is my go to place for movies. It's clean and modern. Matinee ticket prices are reasonable, especially the first showing of the day. My biggest complaint is with getting tickets. The outside ticket machines have been closed for several months. There was rarely a line to use those like there is inside. To make matters worse the ticket counter itself is often closed early, especially during the week. In that case tickets have to be purchased at the concession counter, which is especially annoying when there are others there buying concessions.

I just saw Avengers Endgame, the seats rested my shoulders in front of me because of the shape, and after that 3 hour movie my shoulders felt terrible. Otherwise it's a great theater, probably better with shorter movies, also really clean, friendly staff, so one of the better cinemas I've been to.

Times shown on the internet are not consistent with theater times. I would say call ahead to make sure it is actually playing but I can get no answer. If you show up just because the internet says it is doesnt mean it will be. 2 bad tasting pops and a sub par popcorn will run you 20 dollars. Its the movies enjoy!

The only theater in town, but luckily it's on the nicer side. Only issue is that some of the internal theaters have sound issues. Most have been fixed, but it occasionally slips back up. Concessions are expensive, but ultimately are industry standard. 3D and Digital film mostly, no IMAX.

Cinemark are a chain of theaters that judging by the Cinemark in my town give you the experience of a locally owned theater decades ago. The look and feel of the theater really takes you back to a time when movies were important. Not only are there posters for classics like Casablanca, Rebel Without A Cause and other films of The Golden Era...........but in the front lobby in my theater there is also a poster for La Dolce Vita. These posters are just one example at how Cinemark cares about the history of film and giving the viewer a quality experience that is rarely ever seen anymore.

Great location with lots of show times and promotional pricing based on the day and time of showings. Tuesday’s are $5 ticket days. And the early bird first showing of the day is always the cheapest option any other day of the week. Good concession choices. You can even purchase your tickets ahead of time online and skip the line. Just have your QR code for purchase scanned before walking through to the theater. Would really like to see draft beer served at this location and reclining seats. We will often choose to go to Lexington instead just to have these extra amenities .

Sometimes they seem to be a bit short staffed on big opening nights but regardless they always anticipate the crowd and keep things organized. The popcorn is good as long as you dont get it in the morning but I haven't had much of their other food. This theater is basically my second home. Also if you go to the movies a lot the Movie Club is definitely worth it btw

My wife and I went to see Pete's Dragon, 1:50 PM, 18 August 2016. During the movie my wife was stung by an insect 2 times. She informed the manager who showed little concern not even asking her if she needed medical assistance. The manager merely thanked my wife for informing her and said " have a good evening". This theater needs to train the staff regarding customer service.
