Cheap prices for tickets, but concession stand is high. Theater needs more room between the seats and a few upgrades. (We would really like to be able to see the movie! It was so dark you could hardly make out faces or details.) As a side note, please, people, if you are going to see a movie, leave your cell phones in your pockets or purses! I have never seen a theater so full of people paying to see a newly released movie spend the entire time on their phones! So irritating!

Pets 2 was a great family movie. Took all 5 of my kids, only downside was how loud the movie itself was but it did make potty breaks and the general 500 questions from the kids easier while still allowing others to view the movie in peace.

Relaxed atmosphere. Can shop in the mall before or after a movie. Fun time with the family. Some friendly workers. If you are in the area this would be one of the go to places for most anyone. Especially if you want to see a movie. Average prices for small town.

We attended the theater on a hot night and it felt like there was no air conditioning...it was so uncomfortable! The theater itself is nice, typical outrageous prices for refreshments, the restroom was nice and large, several movies and viewing areas to choose from, accomodating times to choose from, clean, good audio, large screens and all around good (other than the heat ) experience. However, some idiot sitting next to my daughter kept turning her phone on and shining the light from the screen in everybody's eyes (whatever happened to ushers ? ) and the movie we attended was R rated and we were given a hard time from the ticket seller regarding our 16 year old watching the movie but when we got in the theater and sat down, I noticed a family with a child who couldn't have been more than 7....what's up with that?!?

I’m very disappointed in the appearance and quality of the movies for the price u pay . The rooms are falling apart and outdated . some movies u can’t see on the screens , screens are very nasty . I can drive a hr. Away and get better quality for the same price . Great location and great service overall.But quality Of building I give a grade F !!!

Prices are really over the top. In some of the theater you can barely hear your movie and in the next it's busting your eardrums. But the staff is usually friendly and the seats and isle aren't to bad.

Inside theater was clean. Bathrooms were dirty, both urinals were out of order and one of the three toilets was out of order. Concession price were outrageous.

Went here today to watch the new Purge film. They had no freezees, after i was charged for one, i decided just to get a soda. Went into the theatre, it was 80 degrees and smelled of must and stank. Went back to the front, manager came out to give me a refund, and stated he knew the AC was broke in that one theater. I asked why not show it across the hall where the AC worked, he stated the sound was broke in that theatre Horrible experience. Got my money back and left.

Visiting from out of town and mid movie the screen goes out today. A power outage. That’s fine it happens. Then when they fix it, they start the movie back but it’s not at the scene where the power went out. It was several scenes ahead and it was confusing. We went to speak with a theater attendant. The theater worker was rude and lied. They never tried to put the movie back to where it was at when the power went out. People walked out and left. They never offered a voucher or anything. It was terrible and disappointing. Never again. We will just watch a movie in our city and not on a trip. Middlesboro’s AMC is terrible.

Ticket price is one of the cheapest around, so if that's your main concern, it's a good deal. Unfortunately that means it's lacking in other areas. The concessions are average, but the drink machine is often out of at least half of the options offered. The theaters themselves are fine, but there are several broken seats that are not marked so you don't know until you try to sit in them. Overall, for the price it's not bad, but needs improvement.

The majority of the time that Star Wars The Last Jedi was showing, the "projector was down and we don't know when it will be fixed". Spoiler alert: it was never fixed. This is inexcusable and I cannot fathom how a theater could allow such a big, anticipated release to be unavailable for such a long time. Not only that, but they continued to advertise the film as being available.

We watched Deadpool 2 in theater 3...Worst theater experience of my life. The volume was so low that I told the staff we couldn't hear the voices over the air conditioner; the manager refused to acknowledge there was a problem then came in the theater and turned off the air conditioner...in the middle of June! It sounded like a $10 bluetooth speaker was sitting in front of the screen compressing every channel into a flat, dead sounding Sci-Fi channel rip-off of a Marvel movie. It ruined the movie. We could hear the theater beside us through half of the movie (it must have better sound). Be warned, DO NOT pay to watch a movie in theater 3 unless they install an actual sound system.

From out of town and decided to catch a movie...I guess decent enough concessions for a small theater. Wasn't exactly sure if I was in the right theater because on the inside it was a hall way of doors that were not very clearly marked. Some random missing seats in the theater as well, but not Like a handicap area, these were just random spots missing out of rows which was a new experience for me, but we got to sit with no one next to us so I added a star for the missing seats. So movie started at 830, but commercials- and I do mean just commercials (not previews) played until about 8:45. I was starting to think i must have went to the wrong theater, and then my kid asked if we were in the right theater and I said how could I possibly know with all those random doors?! But at that point we were commited to watch whatever came on.... turned out we were in the right spot so I added a star since I did actually find the correct theater. So then it was cold which is normal for a theater and I wanted to go grab jackets for my kids. I went out like 20 minutes into movie and concessions were already closed and the doors were locked. I struggled internally for a few minutes- were the jackets worth the risk of unlocking a door to run to the car? Would I be locked out and never see my children again?? But then I saw there was an open door off to the other side so I will add a star since I was able to run to car for jackets. During the movie my daughter pointed out some holes in the ceiling...I said no those can't possibly be holes, but when the lights came on at the end sure enough there were holes in the ceiling. Seeing as I wasn't sitting directly under a hole, and the fact that we had a good laugh over the holes in ceiling I gave another star. All in all if u want to see a movie cheap, and enjoy interesting scenery this is the theater for you! Another star just for the experience. Hands down the best strange theater to visit! And you get to see a movie cheap, just watch for the holes when picking your seats

Terrible and expensive. Half the good seats were closed off with caution tape. The seats are uncomfortable and the screen is small. Don't waste your money, go to oak ridge and sit in leather recliners that are heated, entry fee is same price but the food is cheaper.

This is a wonderful theater! The place has recently been taken over by a new general manager and I can confidently say , she’s done a wonderful job! The theater is now cleaner and overall a better environment. Movie selections are limited but that’s okay considering it’s only a 4 theater. Staff is absolutely wonderful! I’ve met one of my favorite people of all time here! MACEY!! She’s the sweetest girl and is one of the best customer service workers I’ve ever encountered. She is super kind to me and my family. The place is generally older than most theaters, so some might get the vibe that it is run down. But if you’re like me and enjoy classic theater styles, you’ll love this place! The tickets are INCREDIBLY cheap! Concessions are expensive, as expected. Overall Ive enjoyed this theater for years and recent staff and theater changes have made me love it more!

Prices to see the movies are cheap. It's hard to catch a matinee or late flick, but if you plan in advance it's not that bad. Also Chelsea Maples is the friendliest cashier around and she's always super nice when I go in!

Small, cozy, cheaper pricing due to matinee showing and children 2 and under are free. First time I ever went to the movies here. Parking was easy and convenient through the back of the mall building. There was a door specifically for the movie theater. The line was a little slow but the concessions and movie tickets were sold at the same counter. Very friendly staff and the place was very clean and well stocked. Cinema 4 was very small compared to what I'm used to being in and was very crowded with children because we watched The Grinch, but we had a great time and our children loved the show. The seats were equipped with a cupholder but don't expect anything fancy like recliners. The bathrooms were clean and overall we had a great time. I recommend buying the bucket of popcorn which is good at any AMC for 2019 to save you $4 each time you take it to refill. We will definitely be back! Thanks

The movie was awesome but that’s where is ended. Attitude the second you walked in staff was totally indifferent as to wheither or not I had even a mediocre experience. Theater snuck, seats were so old and made sitting in the theater for 2 hours horrible. I could swear I was being eaten up by bugs. If it weren’t for Chris Pratt I would hav left the theater. Things beyond their control were horrible patrons with phones going off flash lights on etc. just the worst movie theater I’ve ever been to!

I haven't been to this theater since AMC bought it from Carmike. It needed some renovations and a thorough cleaning when it was a Carmike, but for less than $5 to see a new release movie it was okay. Next time I'm in the area I'm gonna go see if anything has changed.

I asked them a few weeks ago why they wasn't getting Bohemian Rapsody and I was told they were now a family friendly theater... well some of us don't have children or we are older adults and we want to see other types like horror movies, comedy, etc... I'm VERY disappointed that I have to travel an hour away just to see every movie that I want to see.

Cinema in the mall smells of mold and septic. I visited today December 1st 2018. The smell is unbearable! I told the crew but they just told me it was chemicals that had been spilt on some gravels through a small door!? Didn’t make much sense but I’m very disappointed with the facility. I spent nearly $100 on tickets and food to not be able to eat anything because of the smell.

I will never go back! Worst experience ever! It was uncomfortably cold in the theater. The screen was extremely fuzzy at the beginning. The women’s restroom was absolutely disgusting!!! The concession stand is way overpriced. The popcorn was low quality with an expensive price. I drove 45 minutes to this theater because my local theater isn’t playing den of thieves... I definitely wasted $50+ dollars on this unpleasant experience.

The price of tickets is more than reasonable. The price of concessions is pretty high. The theaters are in pretty bad shape. Holes in ceiling that leak. Whole rows of seats that are broken. Kids don't really care about that stuff so it is not a deal breaker for us.

Where shall I start... first and foremost there were two different holes in the ceiling in theater 2!!!??? Judging by other reviews the holes will leak If it is raining. The concessions were overpriced though the tickets were cheap. When I went into the men's room I went into the first stall and there were bugs flying all over! Overall this was a terrible experience. But if you think I'm done yet oh...... your in for a treat. My female sister said there was moss on the toilet in the womans bathroom ( to be frank with you I dont think she is telling the truth.) There were seats missing in some rows and the seats were soooooo uncomfortable

Like the choose your own drink machine, even though they could use more - like if you are there at a busy time when the one person in front holds everyone up because they can't decide. Could use some newer seats (wish they could add stadium seating) but the one big issue I have (and have had for years) is the audio. It is always muffled or low.

EMPLOYEES ARE THE RUDEST PEOPLE YOU COULD EVER TALK TO. Used to be great aside from the expensive concessions but since its converted to amc classic or whatever the crew is rude only have one drink fountain and they were out of most everything and I consider myself an easy to get along with guy. So I think I will travel a little further for a better experience

I believe that this area is really lucky to have this theater. Sure there are problems but you get what you pay for an as a plus we're getting first runs. The employee's have always been friendly & I for one hope that we don't lose this theater. I was disappointed that they've cancelled the weekday matinee's but understand that the whole mall is slow. Let's hope they don't leave us!

Only one theater is worth seeing a movie in. I will literally walk out if they tell me theater 4. I've lived here a year now, and the lights in 4 still don't shut off, nor do the speakers have enough volume. The screen is usually very dark, too. 2 and 3 are marginally better.
