Took my 5 year old to watch Toy Story 4 at your screen play theater this afternoon at 3. Not the greatest experience. Room was warm, stale air. Not clean at all. But what was really annoying me and my daughter was how glitchy the video and audio was. Was like watching a scratched up DVD player. Great idea for a kids theater, but bad up keep. I'll go to a McDonald's playground and bring home a movie next time. 2 thumbs down.

Very friendly service and a great area. Lots of good movies offered. The seats are upgraded to maximum comfort and space. Lots of options to choose from as far as drinks and food. Pretty good sized parking lot with not a lot of walking even in the farther spots. Nice location close to food, gas, and the highway.

Awesome slide and play place inside theater, it's called screen play. You arrive 30 minutes before your movie starts and children are allowed to play for thirty minutes. My daughter loved it. And they also play awesome songs while kids play.

I don't know if the company knows how bad it is, but we went for a 6:45pm show last night. There was NOBODY at the desk to sell tickets, so we used the kiosk. There was NOBODY anywhere checking tickets. There were 3-4 people behind the concession counter socializing that ignored us completely! We could have not paid the $30 for 3 ticks, & just walked in the door & saw any movie for FREE. I feel sorry for the company trying to pay the bills. It's RIDICULOUS!

B&B theatres Shawnee 18 is one of my favorite theaters in the Kansas City area. Very comfortable reclining seats and delicious food. They also have this very cool 4D theatre which is so fun. If you want to feel immersed in the movie I would definitely recommend watching it in 4D! If you want to be comfy and watch a good movie at the theatre, B&B Theatres Shawnee 18 is the best place to go!

Enjoyed a wonderful pre-screening of "The Current War." The concession people were very kind, once we bought a refillable bag they were ok that we brought in our popcorn bucket and let us fill up our bag right away again. The seats were recliners and very very comfortable, even had lower back support on the chairs. The screen was insanely HUGE. My only complaint was that at the beginning ad for the theater & parts of the movie the music was too loud. Sound was the only reason I didn't give 5 Stars

To be fair to The Establishment, I will have to visit it when it's busy. This visit was on a Tuesday night, which is particularly quiet. I got my ticket and popcorn with in a minute, got seated and enjoyed a great show. Very comfortable. The seats in the theater I've been changed to recliners. Very spacious, and comfortable! There is a kid area to play before the movie starts, so I would recommend this to families and couples! Enjoy!

They do pretty good. But every time I go here the place is a damn mess. Popcorn all over the entry way. Staff are kinda lazily milling about. The drinks area is destroyed. The place seems mismanaged.

I go to a movie every week. If I’m ill, on vacation, no exception lol I see movies EVERY WEEK. I have not been to this location in a number of years but I don’t remember being impressed enough to return. I was totally impressed with this experience though. Remodeled theater, everything was clean! Bathroom was clean, foyer was clean seats clean, concessions clean, wonderful place to see a movie!

Updated and newer cinema. I like what they have done to the place. Convenient and friendly staff. Reserved seating is awesome. I went when they weren't busy on a Thursday and so things were relaxing and not have to deal with the crowds.

This theatre is visible from I435 and Midland drive, have wheelchair ramps, friendly and helpful staff, great popcorn with a butter dispenser if you didn't get enough, and a variety of flavored salts for your popcorn. You choose your seats and it's easy to navigste. I really like B&B Theatre.

Usually this is our go to theater. But their air conditioning isn't working right. The theater was about 80 degrees and humid, I notified staff in the front and he said he would check it. I felt a puff of cool air but it never caught up before the movie was over. We might try them again this winter.

One of the best movie theaters I've ever been to! Love the old timey feel and atmosphere externally and internally. Staff was quick and friendly. Inside was clean and well-maintained - the actual theater was amazing, especially with their large screen that was a few stories wide and tall. This theater has done a lot of renovation! They have reclining chairs in many of their theaters and they are always clean and the staff is always friendly. The restrooms are clean and the concessions are not crazily overpriced.

B&B Shawnee is definitely our top pick When it comes to movie theaters. We love how clean it always is and the staff is always friendly. The food is always made fresh and we can not forget how comfortable and spacious the reclining seats are. Our 5 year old loves the screen play which allows her to play and meet new friends before the movie begins. We are backstage loyalty members which gives us points every time we purchase tickets/food and for every 100 pets you get $5. They also give us coupons to use towards different purchases...and it’s FREE to sign up.

We almost always choose this theater over any AMC. It's not usually over crowded and the concession lines are fairly quick. The reclining seats are very comfortable and recline pretty far back. We like the smaller theater size for the not as popular showings. The theaters aren't dirty and gross, it seems like they do a decent job of keeping up with the masses. Overall we enjoy our experiences here.

B&B had changed movie watching for me. Every theater has great seating with recliners. 4DX is cool! We don't even bother with other theaters anymore, unless we're in the mood for the drive-in.

For starters my family and I absolutely love B&B.. So much so that we were regular customers when the theater was called West Glenn. We frequent the theater every other month, sometimes a few times a month. We often attended your screen play feature, for the amusement of our child. What an amazing idea. The last time we attended your screen play was around early March, to see the My little Pony movie. And screen play was as we thought it would have been today. But today the children got to play prior to the movie but unlike times past there was no recess in the middle of the movie? We don’t mind the cost when we are getting what we believe we a paying for. But we had no idea there had been changes made to the screen play feature and feel as if we did not get what we thought we were paying for.. I asked to speak with the manager on duty and was passed around three people before I saw the name tags have job titles on them, I found Maddie (the manager on duty). At first she was polite and answered my questions. Until I let her know we have been to screen play after the time she told me a change was made (she said she wasn’t 100% sure when a change occurred but she thought it was around February 2018). And her statement back to me was pretty aggressive and she basically called me a liar. By saying “well I know for a fact that’s not true” was her response back to me when I told her we attended screen play with the recess in the middle of the movie in early March. I know for a fact that when we attended earlier this year there were no changes made to screen play. I just wish we new of the changes made. And when I went to inquire about the changes made that I was treated with some basic common courtesy. I’ve worked my entire career in a customer service based profession and with how I was treated today left me shocked and blown away. Overall just very disappointed and discouraged about how everything transpired. My family and I definitely left not feeling the magic of the movies unfortunately.

My wife and I went to a movie last night and we enjoyed our first experience at B&B. The theatre has been recently renovated so it very clean and modern. Food is delicious, its made to order so its fresh. Prices are decent. The movie theatre had very comfortable seats and they lay completely back. Video and sound quality were excellent. The people who attended this theatre appeared to be good people, so no riff-raff which made us feel more safe.

I enjoyed the movie but my seat was broken in the reclined position and it was definitely an uncomfortable time. I went to the restroom and only one sink was working. Had to make people get out of our seats. I'm hoping if I come back it will be a better experience

A nicely refurbished theater. I had a vision of the theater from when we first moved to the area about 5 years ago, run down and dirty. Since B&B purchased and remodeled, it is a top shelf theater that IMO rivals/competes with the local Alphabet named chain.

These guys have made going to the movies fun again. First off, the online ticket ordering is a great feature. You get the seats you want, or wait for a later show. The reclining seats are extremely comfortable, and the aisles are so wide you don't have to move if someone comes down the row. Food and drink options are good. The place has always been clean. I've gone to the movies more in the last year than the previous 5 in part due to the great experience here.

B&B Shawnee is a great theater. They have great reclining chairs, the popcorn is pretty good, and you have a selection of flavorings to put on the popcorn, like nacho cheese, ranch, or kettle corn. The soda machines also offer a wide selection of flavors. They also have alcoholic beverages and burgers/hotdogs. It's always been clean, in the theaters and the bathrooms. I'd recommend seeing a movie in this theater as they have great seats, a good selection of food, and it's still cheaper than other theaters around.

I originally gave this theater a lower rating because I've had movies completely fail and the reticketing process was terrible but the last few times they've done a great job, offered great amenities like better seats than other name brand theaters and interesting environments like 4D. I'm giving them a star back and they may even earn all 5 from me if they don't have any more technical issues.

This review is on my 4XD experience. I watched Captain America. First of all I'd like to start with the price. It was about $20 per ticket. For that I took 1 star away. Now the experience overall was pretty good. I had never watched a movie in 4XD before and it kept me on the edge of my seat. Literally. Now I took another star away because the seat movements seemed off and a bit odd at times. The next is that it dropped snow during an irrelevant scene and didn't drop snow the time it actually snowed in the movie. I'll try it one more time and update my review based on that experience.

I don't really go out to see movies at theaters very often, and I'm usually not much of a movie person, so feel free to take this with a grain of salt. I personally saw detective Pikachu on memorial day, and perhaps because of the date, not many people were out and about. This is in conjunction with the fact that the theater was by itself limited to like 27 people. With few people and comfy leather chairs(that recline btw), this was probably the best theater experience I've ever had, although it's true that I haven't had that many. On a different note, the only thing I could really complain about is that the listed time was 8:15, but the movie didn't start untill 8:30 because there were 15 minutes of B&B advertisements. I arrived like 20 minutes early though, so I didn't really mind that much.

It's a good B&B. Not quite all the modern amenities of AMC (its main competitor) but still very good. Recently tried the 4D experience for Avengers: End Game. It was worth the extra money. I probably won't do it for anything but the big blockbusters, but it was pretty cool.
