Ticket prices & concessions are appropriately priced however the place seems outdated. Online showtime was 7:35, actual showtime: 7:45 (Update your online presence if you’re going to have one). Previews lasted well over 35 minutes after the listed movie start time. A group of teens chatted throughout the entire movie, not the theaters fault but it is normal for staff to check-in as the movie starts (Didn’t happen here).

This place has some rules that need changed!! If i come in here and pay for a movie and buy a drink to go with it and food,and cant get a refill if its last movie of night i would never come back.. some people drink alot and need a drink to wash down food it needs to be verbally and written no refills and allowed to bring ur drink if ur not gonna provide them after 20 min of last movie of day!! Amanda woods needs a raise for following rules but needa suggest rule change

Be prepared to have an interesting checkin here. Its never clear where to purchase your tickets when you arrive. Its a nightmare everytime you visit. They are always short staffed it seems so you dont get greeted or thanked, the wait time to purchase concession stand items it a mess, and you will never be greeted or thankef for your business. It just lack the full customer experince her and i thought it would be different being tgat AMC a well known movie theater that bought out what used to be Cinema 8 would make huge changes and make the experice priceless but that wasnt the case. They have good movies but just not sure its a fun good time that you would expect for some family down time. Love that we have something to do in Salina but its not close to being a all around good experience that keeps you coming back. Im looking forward to see this theater grow and hit that level of success thats shown throughout their other locations nationwide. Its about consistency and quality service.

It's okay. Popcorn is good but drinks and candy are very pricey. Go to Dollar Tree and get some snacks to sneak in, but buy popcorn and a drink there to give them some service plus get some tasty popcorn. Previews usually last about 30-45 minutes after the expected "showtime" so beware and don't get there early.

Good theater most of the time. Disastrous opening night for Solo yesterday though. Went to a showing that was advertised as 2D. Halfway through the previews it switched to 3D. 5 minutes into the movie the projector breaks. Was told it will take 45 minutes to replace projector. Management refused to give a refund. Going to the Warren for opening nights from now on, this is ridiculous.

My wife and I went to this theater to see a movie on the 4th of July. We walked in at 1:15 P.M. and found the seats we wanted. We began watching what was on the screen which was about gaming in the theater. This went on for a short while and then, we began watching advertisements. The movie was listed as beginning at 1:30 which we expected. Well, at 1:30, we continued to watch advertisement after advertisements on just about anything and everything, including upcoming movies. 20 minutes past the time the move was to begin, we were still watching advertisements and the sound volume was so loud that it gave me a headache. We went to watch a movie, NOT advertisements which we have to put up with on television. We went to the movie theater to watch a movie, get away from the standard protocol of ads and such but at the theater?? We felt that we had walked out of one advertising are into another. This is totally Ridicules and I have heard that the Salina, KS is notorious for ads. For this reason, my wife and I will NEVER return to AMC Classic, and, if we had not paid to see the movie, we would have gotten up and walked out after the ads continued after the movie startup time. And, for two drinks and popcorn costing a little over $18.00, THIS IS A CASE OF SERIOUS PRICE GOUGING!!!!!!!!! AMC Classics just lost another patron as we will NEVER RETURN to this theater!!!!! I now HATE this theater!!

I have been coming to these theaters since I was a kid. Still going strong and I'm enjoying the new lower ticket prices! Doesn't cost an arm and a leg to take your kids. Highly recommend this location.

Really disappointed that we once had stubs member lines available and then they discontinued the lines. It takes a long time to get through the lines now. Otherwise, we still like this theatre good prices and clean. I would love it if they integrated ticket kiosks, digital tickets, etc.

First time using the online ticket system since AMC bought them out. The convenience fees are BS. They aren't prominently displayed, nor any kind of prompt during purchase so you can back out. And of course, non-refundable. Rip-off artists still. Now I remember one of the many reasons why I quit going to AMC Theaters. It's a shame that our theater choice is so limited these days. Hopefully the movie and theater conditions are nice.

My husband lost his keys and he had to answer the make of the car and what was on they keychain in order to give it back so they won’t just give your stuff to strangers. Worse experience ever been going here for 5 years now, never going there again, new management sucks, my kids wanted to go se deadpool today and because is rated R, they couldn't go in, my Son is 19 they said he has to be 21 to be able to go in, my husband went got a ticket, so they can go in he stayed for a lilttle then got out to smoke and when he left they kick them out sence when for a Movie you need to be 21 are you serious! My family wont go there anymore.

I would not give them a fourth of a star I had to make a whole star to be able to leave a review. They are horrible here in Salina Kansas. My husband and I and my granddaughter went today and sit there for 45 minutes and the movie never started the employees acted like they could care less it totally messed up our day.

My 20 year old son took his girlfriend to the movies and they wouldn't let him in although he's an adult cuz the movie is rated R. So i drive to the movies to give my permission for them to watch it and they insisted I needed to buy a ticket and watch the movie with them. At that point I ask for our money back since they are not letting us watch a movie we paid for and they refused saying we were trying to violate company policy. So I took my amc membership card, throw it on the floor and told her to shove it up her ass that me and my family would never come to this movie teather again.

R-rating means no one under 18 without a parent, not 21. People can see just about any movie online for free. They go for a large screen experience. Your screens are small. The lights were turned on a few minutes before the movie had ended, signaling that it was almost done. Very distracting and difficult to concentrate on what was meant to be the climax of the film. Then as I sat watching the credits thinking about the movie, the employee was impatiently jingling her keys. My enjoyable movie experience was soured by an employee who couldn't wait 5 more minutes to begin cleaning.

My girlfriend and I recently visited this movie theater. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable. The only thing I would comment on would be the size of the individual theaters. I had never watched a movie on a screen that small and with so few seats. It’s not that it was uncomfortable, but it’s just that we were surprised by its size. The price for the tickets was lower than other ticket, so maybe that balances out for the size of the rooms.

In my opinion ever since AMC has taken over the theater it has went downhill in different ways. For instance. When Starplex Cinemas was in charge you could order a large combo and you could get a 1 refill (POPCORN AND LARGE DRINK) FREE. But with AMC you must belong to the AMC MOVIE CLUB before you can get anything at all. You also had a better idea on movies that where getting ready to show in a more timely manner and not 2 or 3 days before they came out.

This theater has just been going down more and more over the last few years. They keep saying they're going to "update" it, but they have yet to make ANY updates. The staff are very unprofessional...gossiping to each other, blocking the main hallway with their little employee cliques, and their attitudes are terrible... instead of helping customers. They've done away with their Premiere line, so us who actually pay for the Premiere status have to wait behind everyone else. Every other AMC theater we've been in have kept the Premiere lines and treat all of their customers as valued customers rather than problems to deal with. This theater need all new management and staff. Seriously. Worst AMC theater we've been to throughout the U.S.

I went to see "They Shall Not Grow Old" driving one and a half hours from Hays, Ks. We sat in the theater over a half hour and five minutes after the show was to start and nothing was showing on the screen. I found someone and they said there was not a showing at four. No one bothered to tell us. We paid with two movie passes and an extra $6.52 for the 3d. They would only give us either the $6.52 or two movie passes. The passes don't cover 3d like the manager lied and told us they do. Also she said they came and told us there was no movie and they didn't. When we told her we wanted both refunded she called the police. I would not rate this theater a one if there was a lower rating. Needs a manager that understands math and customer service Would like to add I called Corporate and they agreed with me and refunded the money. It is not corporate policy to refund only part of the money or give a readmit pass for a 3D movie. I wish I could let the manager and four police know this .

I dont get to the movies often, but its clean, comfortable, no rude people talking while the movie was playing, and the ticket price was good!. Now the concession cost is absurd! It cost $24 for popcorn, soda & a box of candy. WTH! I can BUY the movie, get Orville Redenbauker and a 2-liter for $25. This is the reason I have to plan a trip to the movies, and the reason I go maybe 2x a year.

The best theater in Salina! Oh it's the only one that shows new movies ... AMC should really update this place, could use bigger auditorium's with better seating , more room between rows, maybe one that has the nice reclining chairs like in Wichita or Kansas city. Alot of my friends will sometimes go to other cities to watch a movie due to the location here in Salina... the employees are great , the food options are not, would be nice if you could come in and watch with outside food, since the options there are limited or take a veeerrrryy long time to reheat for you. They could allow food just from the mall area or something .. I know food from theater's is costly , but costly and very limited...

Long lines. Old popcorn. Lying CSR. I stood in line for about 20 minutes to be told that the show was "reserved." Before telling my children that they couldn't see a movie for a bs reason, I got online to check it. It said there were plenty of seats and I purchased the tickets and paid $8 in "convience fees." When we got into the theatre there were maybe 20 people in the theatre. The seats were broken. Popcorn covered the floor. I emailed the Customer Service on the website. The next morning they just emailed me back saying that they'll send the store an email. Are you kidding? You just found a way to extort an extra $8 from me and not have to do any work. Go to the next town over. Go to the Kanopolis Drive in. Don't go to AMC.

I went to see Light's Out with a friend for her birthday. We get in , get a soda, sit down. During previews before the showing, I understand that people talk to one another, but the people in the theater talked well into the movie. Went to complain and they told me it was not the only complaint they had that night over it, and they still did nothing. My friend and I left in the middle of the movie. I wasted my time and money by going there. Not going to see another movie anytime soon. This rating doesn't even deserve one star. If I could, I would give it negative stars.

Amc is a terrible company to work for, not really good employee training , they would not work with you if you are serving in the military reserves. I would never ever recommend or suggest this company to anyone trying to find a part time job. I myself would not patronize anything from AMC anymore.
