Located just a quick hop off HWY 20, coming from either direction, this is a very nice theatre. The parking lot is generous, well maintained, with handicap spots being directly in front of the building. The building and grounds are clean, it is immediately apparent the owners take pride in their property. As you enter the building one feels comfortable in the atmosphere for it is not too hot, nor too cold. Their price to gain access to view a movie, and the refreshments (which are fresh, yay!), are equal to those in the area of the Cedar Valley. Staff people smile, are friendly and concerned for your pleasant experience while there. Bathrooms, theatre, and lobby are clean, stocked, and maintained with consciousness to detail. The staff have clean uniforms, and utilize healthy habits when serving their patrons. The theatre does sport comfortable stadium seating, which is handicap accessible with an area for wheelchairs. There are seats on either side of the wheelchair area for accompanying friends and family. The seats have drink holders on (moveable) arms, they are also spaced well so you don't have to climb over the top of other patrons. For those of us who can't sit still, the back of the seats allows you to "rock", Lol. Overall a 10 on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the best.

Great hometown theater, with reasonable prices, CLEAN restrooms, and staff that are cleaning the theater as soon as the seats are empty. Don't forget to bring your empty bags and cups to the front of the theater, where they have a conveniently located trash container.

The theater was small but very clean. Prices are what you expect from a small town movie theater. The staff knew what they were doing and had no problems at all. There were no kids crying or people on their cell phone. Huge plus in my book.

I have been to many theaters in the area and I keep coming back to Starlight. If you want to fight huge crowds and deal with big city traffic then go to Cedar Rapids or Waterloo or Dubuque. As for me...20 min drive is much better and the theater is far cleaner than the big cities. I am not sure what the ones want that say it was good not great are looking for....Must be seriously picky. The price is ALWAYS right.

It's a great little theater and it usually has a movie I want to see. Reasonable prices compared to bigger theaters. Much cleaner then larger theaters. All around great theater.

I got sloppy head watching The Incredibles 2 next to a family of four in the top row on the left side. Two stars because she was teething worse than the family's two year old watching it happen. I should give less stars for the cleaning job because I went back there last week and my jizzums stain was still on the seat

Starlight Cinema has been a family favorite in terms of movie theaters for years. My dad loves it mostly because of its cheapness with $5 per person and its excellent popcorn. I like it because it reminds me of great family memories going to the movies with my younger cousins, my parents and siblings, and with my best friend. This theater always plays two movies, so make sure you check out the movies before leaving to make sure they are movies that you would like to see. I highly recommend trying a movie-going experience here if you live nearby, enjoy a more rural theater, and like cheap and fantastic movies.

Open on the parking lot. Seems weird at first as there are zero pictures that accurately show this place. Let me tell you some more. Its hosted by ffx county parks But new life church in chantilly off Willard had all the volunteers. Cheap hot dogs. Kids games. And lots of room. It's also in shade at 7 PM when we showed so not so hot. Bounce houses. And huge blow up screen. Live band from the church adds a great vibe. Was hesitant to come at first thinking it would be a lame bust. But it's pretty cool. I would pack a picnic or grab a to go meal for more and better food options. If you don't want chairs. Bring some pad because its literally the parking lot surface. Not grass or anything. On the good side. These corporate areas have fewer mosquitoes. See you under the stars.

Great customer service! I took my 22 month old son for the first time. It was just the two of us therefore my hands were full. They offered to help us carry everything into the theater as well as leaving. We will definitely be going back again soon!
