A nice little theater. And this may seem odd but we have some rather large people in our extended family and they like the fact that the seats are larger than normal and conform well to their rotundness. I liked the seating layout.

Very nice inside. It was just remodled a few years back. This cinema has 3d movies. Employees are very nice and polite.

Choose this movie theater so I can meet some family members & watch a movie together, this was about half way for each of us....website gave wrong times of what we wanted to see & there was a smell that hit you as you walked in....the seat are comfortable.

Drove 40 minutes with the grandsons to see one of the movies listed on their website to find when we arrived completely different movies were playing. To top it off neither of the movies playing were appropriate for a 7 yr old.

I have been coming here for forty years. The workers are polite and efficient. It is a nice environment to enjoy a movie. They participate in the Fridley's Theatre free movies for Christmas and summer vacation which brings in multitudes of kids.

I want to start the review by saying that I am not associated with the cinema in any way. You may not believe that, but it's the truth. My husband and I just moved to Iowa about a month ago, and this was our first time going to a movie here in Iowa. We were going to go to Ottumwa but saw that Mt. Pleasant has a theater too, so we decided to try it out. We were very pleasantly surprised! The prices are great, and because of this it makes it easier to buy concessions without spending a lot. The popcorn was fresh, and the fountain drinks were also great and not watered down. The theater itself was really great, and they have reclining seats. The bathroom was super clean too. It was so clean I had the feeling that I was the first person to ever use it. We will definitely be going here from now on, and if I could give more than five stars I would! This is a gem of a movie theater! Everyone should check it out!

Went to go see spiderman homecoming the room had a really big hd screen. Amazing chairs that u can lean back in and has a handy cap section with easy access. They also had nice big drink aand popcorn sizes.

Such a fun little 2 theater establishment. Clean and beautiful. Kinda wish it had stadium seating. The sound in the main auditorium is not great since the acoustics were meant for a much older style of entertainment. Hard to hear the words at times.

Very pleasant theatre with it's latest renovations. Movies are often geared toward younger audiences with ratings other than "R". Friendly owner and staff. It is definitely an asset to Mt. Pleasant

This has been my "hometown" theatre since growing up when it was Temple Twin, and I must say I LOVE the modern updates! Having the ticket counter and snacks together is a great convenience. They ALWAYS seem to be playing the first-run movies we want to see. The seats are just right - with the cup holders and arm rests that move up. Being able to enjoy an adult beverage from the balcony seating is a great perk. Even the bathrooms are nicely done and kept clean. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. The ticket and concession prices are just right - not cheap but not exorbitant like big-city theatres. In summary, this place is a small-town gem, and I encourage you to "shop local" and support them so we can continue to enjoy movies her decades into the future!

Small little place, the seats lay back but I suggest bringing pillows since you may get cramps. Also you have to make sure you plan ahead to catch your movie's rotation slot.
