Home town Theatre a little cheaper than Des Moines. Nice & Clean. They run current movies. Go on Tuesdays for cheaper price and free 46 oz popcorn with the purchase of a drink.

It's an older theater but they have done a nice job of updating it. Very friendly staff and seam to know thier stuff. Only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is because you can tell the building could use some work. Still that didn't take away from going and seeing a movie here.

Sound is ok...smaller screen..got there for first showing wouldn't unlock door until 10 minutes past..it's ok not too cold..wait it was zero. Slushies not ready...popcorn cold..lady assured me it wasn't her fault..someone elses. Doesnt matter because i had to deal with my kid being angry. Some loudmouth talked the whole show. Normal movie experience.

What you would expect if a theatre. Place is always clean, staff is a hot n miss on friendliness but mostly friendly. The bathrooms could use some new plumbing, didn't like the faucets looking so corroded it made me second guess wanting to wash my hands there. And i always wash my hands.

Nice local neighborhood theater. It has seven screens some of which are a little bit small. Self check in a little bit of a pain sometimes and they don't work with online apps like Atom Tickets, but it is clean and convenient.

Good facility, always good sound and picture and for a smaller town theatre they still carry several movie options and the latest releases. The chairs are not the upgraded, super fancy recliners like in some places, but still comfortable. Sometimes the younger high school kids working there aren't the most personable and cheery, but it's a high school job and everyone always still provides good service.

Bought tickets a day early, but it seems the concept of a paid reservation is beyond the understanding of those in charge. Arrived at the theater to find the showing I already paid for was cancelled and I was not notified. Anyone can take a reservation, but the key is to hold the reservation.

Always a great time. My only reason for 4 stars was because, they don't have paper wrapped straws (for me it's a germ thing. Always bring my own). 5 stars all day.

Nice older theater, decent admission prices. They do seem to run some of their showings too close together and we got there early thinking we'd need to to get good seats and ended up waiting in the lobby 20 minutes. They didn't sit the theater until 10-15 minutes before the show. They may not always do this, it was Black Panther so maybe they were trying to squeeze in an extra showing or maybe the movie was a weird length for the schedule. Might be worth a call before going to a popular movie to see if going early is worth it. There isn't a big lobby to wait in if you can't be seated.

It's a nice local theatre, the prices are on par with others in Des Moines, the seats are comfortable and the concessions offer a decent variety. I really like the "small town" feeling from this place over the crowded Des Moines cinemas.

I love the Indianola theater!! The people are great, the theaters themselves are clean and nice and the prices are good. Currently, I am able to take my granddaughter, buy us treats and spend $21, in Des Moines I spend $30 for a very similar experience.

It is a small town theatre. I usually go on Sunday nights and there is never a crowd. They have kid events and frequent move goes offers. Tuesdays are 5$ and you can get free popcorn with purchase of a drink. Some of the smaller screens are in need of updates but I actually prefer the older style seats to the new electric lounge sofas.

Worth the drive from Des Moines. Theater very clean and seats are comfortable. Employees friendly and helpful. Tuesday has 5.00 tickets without belonging to a club. Theater offers a kid's choice of treat box that includes popcorn, soda, and small package of candy that does not break the bank. Indianola Fridley theater has just become a favorite , today.

The ticket pricing is good and it’s never hard to get a last minute seat. The screens are not as big or nice as the Jordan Creek theater and the overall cleanliness could be a bit better. That said, I enjoy my time at the theater and will go again.

We have lived in Indianola for almost 20 years, this little theater used to have a video store too but was able to add more screens when they discontinued that line of business. We love this theater!! It has great seating at a reasonable price.
