Pretty good first-run theater. They usually have a pretty good variety of movies playing, though indie fare is a rarity. The LDX theaters are very nice, comfortable, and look/sound better than the other theaters. I don’t recommend seeing anything that’s not in LDX as the seats are too uncomfortable to enjoy a film. As with most theaters, skip the snacks. They're too expensive for what they are.

I really like our theater. It is a bit spendy but what isn't these days. Love the new reclining seats and they are worth the extra 1.50. Could replace the oldest chairs with more comfortable seats, but they are okay for a 2 hour movie. It's clean and offers an array of treats.

The movie selection is hit or miss. They offer great specialty movies once in a while, but they also have two or three screens going of really bad Hollywood flops sometimes too. The ticket price is high for the small screens and 20 year old seats. Some of the screens are stained and/or ripped and show shadows on the pictures. The sound is good in most theaters, but at least one has blown speakers and is very scratchy. The concessions prices are high as to be expected from a theater, but they have a good selection. Generally the theaters have sticky floors and seem to only be clean for the first show of the day. If you check what is showing you are better off to drive 20 minutes to one of the many $4 theaters in the area. However, this is usually the only theater in the area with new releases.

We got there 10 minutes before the first movie started. There were no employees when we got there. They didnt open until until 10minutes after the movie was suppose to start. Then when we got into the theater the movie was already playing with no volume. They did restart the movie and turn the volume up at that point. Kinda disappointing.

I come to Mason City to visit friends and sometimes make it to a movie. They never let me down on selections and pricing for treats. Compared to Twin Cities these prices are amazing! Keep up the great work! Recommended!

Went to the 12:30 showing of Equalizer 2. Seats are comfy and theater is nice and clean but the projection of the movie was very dark and dim. I waited about 30 minutes in to see if there was a change, and then went to the ticket booth were three employees were at, one sitting on her phone, the other two talking. I told her my complaint about how it was very dim and dark. She said it was because the movie hadn’t started yet, which it clearly had, and said that the projectors would switch over and it would be brighter. Well that didn’t happen. Again after the movie I went to the booth to tell her there was no inprovement, she gave me a handful of excuses as to why it was like that, one of them being that it could be the red lights in the aisle causing the problem. I can’t speak for all the employees but for the three that were working, obviously don’t care about how there guest experiences are, and I won’t be coming back.

I felt the price per ticket was reasonable for a 3:40pm showing. It came to $17.00 for 2 people. Concessions were a bit pricey but that seems to be normal for all theaters. The seating was chosen when you buy your ticket and that is your seat for the movie. Chairs are big and comfy, and recline. The bathroom could have been cleaner. But the movie experience itself was great.

A little on the pricier side, at least in terms of location. However, the theaters are nice with reclining seats. A good assortment of snacks and drinks available. Parking usually isn't an issue. Theaters do tend to be a bit messy and aren't always cleaned up right away.

I had a really good time tonight and the movie was hilarious! However there were 2 staff members behind the concessions counter and the male staff member was quite rude to the female staff member in front of customers. We all have problems and life sucks sometimes, just dont bring it to work. I know it's easier said than done, but custom don't want to see or hear that. All around good time though! So thanks for a decent movie night experience! 10/6/19.

The seats, especially in the LDX rooms, are very comfortable. The audio and visual qualities are great and I would recommend anyone living in a 30 mile radius of Mason City to attend this theater for their movie seeing needs/wants.

Ever since they put the LDX seating in place I have been going far more regularly. The LDX upgrade to two of their theater rooms brought a lot of changes. You can pre-order a ticket now so you don't have to worry about getting there on time and you even get to reserve the seat you want. This is a huge change in the way I approach theaters and it is a nice step in the right direction.

Alright lemme learn you something, these no good two bit confused theatre heatr the last part of my dying soul. I went to see Captain Marvel tonight, granted the movie was decent and could have been much better except for oneeeeeeee little detail. THEY TOOK THE SOUND AND LAST 5 MINUTES OF THE MOVIE ALONG WITH SOUL, I NEVER RECOMMEND A PLACE WILLING TO DESTROY THE LAST LIVING PIECE IF MY CHILDHOOD BUT NOOOPPPPEEEE CINEMA WEST SHOT ME IN THE HEART AND I AM NOT OKAY!!!!!! also popcorn was stale as the theatres atmosphere Edit: they gave us free tickets, we good

Terrible place to go see movies. The prices for entry are so outrageous, that the only day that worth going on is Tuesday. Their concession stand is a complete joke. Their food taste horrible and the selection of beverages for sale is pathetic. I was furious when the person working on my order took ten minutes because he was texting on his phone instead of doing his job! Will not recommend going there. Your better off finding a small town theater to see the newest movies at instead.
