The Charles Theater is a gem among North Iowa businesses. It's a beautifully restored old theater, run by the community. At $2 a ticket, it's great for an evening out for families, or just a cheap date night. The snacks are more pricy, but that's a fair price to pay for the cheap admission.

This place was PACKED! I can only assume that it's because of the dirt cheap admission prices. My adult ticket was $2 & my mom's (a senior) was $1! Children are also $1! The only real complaint I had was that the volume was too low. Any time there was anything funny that made the audience even chuckle (and it was a pretty funny movie - Book Club), I couldn't hear the next line. I have really good, sensitive hearing & I'm usually complaining that movies are too loud. Not this one.

Great small town theater. Movies are a little older, but still in the theater, but keeps the prices down. Only down side is that sometimes people talk to much when they are there. Great prices on snacks.

This is a neat little theater. This is an older theater that has been preserved. It is a community run theater with shows at a value price. It typically gets movies a few months after they have been released. This is also a single screen so there aren't usually multiple options on what to go see.

Nice theatre. Classic sesting style but comfortable. Prices are really cheap and workers are all volunteers. Movies are usually a few weeks behind. Took the kids to see movie and the theatre has booster seats available to help them see over the person in front of them, they worked ok but kids struggled to keep them on seat. They kept falling off the sides of the seat. Not a big deal but we ended up not using ours.

Omission was cheap in the movie was great and watched The Art of Driving in the Rain. Any movie that features a dog will make you cry usually. Because they usually die or also their owner dies in the movie. Not all of them. Haichi and A Dog's Journey.

Great one room theater! It only plays one movie a night at 7:00pm but it's a nice place to go because movies end up here about 1-2 months after normal theaters and you get in for 2 dollars a person. Theres great popcorn and nice seating sometimes people can be a little rude but they have staff walk around the theater a couple times during the movie to prevent rude people all an all great theater and the only one in 45 mile radius.
